Abstract

Kata Kunci: Pintu Tol, Benzena, Toulena, Xylena The researches of BTX (Benzene, Toluene and Xylene) related to the health impacts have been done and published in any publications. One of the risk groups is toll gate’s workers who have been exposed every day with BTX. The design of this study is cross-sectional with Environmental Health Risk Analysis to determine the magnitude of health risks of BTX on the toll gate. The results showed at the toll workers’s respondents have  benzene concentration 0.00167+0.000056 mg/m3, toluene 0.00124+0.000049 mg/m3 and xylene 0.00147+0,000063 mg/m3 respectively, while in the administrative office’s respondents, BTX was undetectable (Minimum Detection Limit). The average RQ of toll gate respondents was significantly higher than administrative office’s respondents. In conclusion, the risk of all workers have the RQ ≤ 1. Non carcinogenic and carcinogenic health risks to all toll gate’s workers recently have not shown any risk yet. Nevertheless, risk management system should be developed and improved. Keywords: Toll Gate, Benzene, Toulene, Xylene

Abstract

Competition superior product in the future become more and more stringent with the increasing pace of economic development, industrial growth and technological progress. This competition makes each industry should be more careful in formulating policy formulation stratgi. Making the decision to get a superior product that suits your needs and abilities required an accurate and effective decisions so that no one and minimize the loss in terms of cost and time. This study uses the entropy method and elactre II. Research with this method of ranking the results based on the amount of gain dominance resulted in ranking the more partial and sensitive than perangkingan based level. Criterion in this system is the turnover, labor, investment value, the target market, the amount of raw materials and the number of firms in a superior product. This study matches the accuracy of the system reaches 30%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was; to determine the effect of traditional game based learning on the social skill students; and to find the different effect of traditional game based learning and expository learning on social skills students. This type of research is quantitative method with pre-test post-test control group design. Samples of this research were the fourth grade students of SDN Cieurih with 30 students as experimental group and SDN Cipicung with 25 students as control group. Data collection techniques used non-test techniques, including interview guides, observation guidelines, and documentation. The results showed that; there is a significant influence on learning that using traditional game to social skill of students, this is based on independet ttest result 0.00 < 0.05, and N-Gain 0.40 which is in medium category; and there is a very high average, high, sufficient, and low average difference in the social skills of students on traditional game-based learning with expository learning. This is evidenced by the acquisition of one way ANOVA test results of 0.00 < 0.05. Furthermore, post hoc test to determine the most significant group, obtained the largest mean difference in very high group, that is 31.333. The social aspect of tradisional game in social science learning were discussed.

Abstract

The development of agricultural tools and technology has made a change to cropping patterns in agricultural communities in Donoyudan Village. Farmers begin to plant rice in the dry season with the help of water wells as the main source of irrigation. Farmers choose to plant rice in the dry season because the results are better than the rainy season. The purpose of the research is to determine the survival strategies of paddy farmers in choosing plant species on agricultural land in the dry season. The research method uses qualitative methods, namely observation, triangulation, and in-depth interviews with farmers and farmer groups. The research is conducted in Donoyudan Village, Kalijambe District, Sragen Regency. The results show that the survival strategy of paddy farmers and rice farming activities in the dry season is the availability of water wells and water pumping machines as the main sources of irrigation in the dry season. Water wells are used if there is not enough rainwater to irrigate the fields. There are two types of water wells, which are shallow well and deep well.

Abstract

Indonesia had always been known as an agricultural country, because most of the population of Indonesia worked as a farmer. The agricultural sector is suspected to contribute to the Gross Domestic Product and has a strategic role in the Indonesian economy. Not only has that, done in a sustainable agriculture also had an invaluable ecological function. But the sustainability of agriculture is threatened due to the function of the rapidly growing industrial activities that encourage the transfer function of agricultural land. Some things such as government policy to privatize the development of industrial areas, policies that encourage large-scale residential development, investment and deregulation policies. The impact of policies over the functions of agricultural land, which is reduced which causes the vast fi elds of  rice  production  decreased  and  in  turn  threaten  the  self-suffi ciency  in  food,  rising unemployment, investment  in  irrigation  abandoned,  increasing  non-productive  agricultural  land  and  the  decline  of wetland ecosystems and land. Governments seek to control the issuing of Act No. 41 of 2009, but seem less successful to overcome the desire of investors to converted agricultural land into industrial zones and housing. These laws have a mission to restore the ecological functions of agricultural land, diversifi cation of biodiversity, fl ood control, erosion and pollution prevention.Key words: conversion, agriculture, ecological
