Abstract

This research aimed to (1) Describe the implementation of learning the history with the application of Contextual Teaching and Learning Models (CTL) using media images; (2) Increase the students participation towards history subject. The type of this research was classroom action research with a qualitative approach in phase of planning, action, observation and reflection. Before the research was conducted, pre-action has been carried out. The research was conducted in three cycles, with three meeting in each cycle. The research subject was class X2 SMA N I Tanjung Agung Muara Enim in the academic year of 2014/2015. Observation, documentation, and filed note analyzed by descriptive analytic were applied as the data collecting technique. The results showed that: (1) The participation of students in the teaching of history through CTL model with media images has increased, if the pre-action only reached an average of 24%, in the first cycle to 46.6%, then in the second cycle reaches 66, 8% and after the implementation of measures to third cycle increased by to 77%. (2) The skills of teachers in the teaching of history through CTL model with media images has increased. Based on the results of this study concluded that through CTL model with media images in learning history succeeded in increasing the participation of students from pre-action until the end of the third cycle increased by 53% as well as with the skills of teachers in the implementation of learning increased by 23.13%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran sejarah dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dengan menggunakan media gambar; (2) Meningkatkan partisipasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah tindakan kelas mengunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Sebelum pelaksanaan penelitian, telah dilakukan pra tindakan. Selanjutnya penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga siklus, setiap siklus tiga kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X.2 SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Agung Kabupaten Muara Enim Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan yang dianalisis dengan cara deskriptif analitik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Partisipasi peserta didik pada pembelajaran sejarah melalui pendekatan CTL dengan media gambar mengalami peningkatan, jika pada pra tindakan hanya mencapai rata-rata 24% , pada siklus I menjadi 46,6%, selanjutnya pada siklus II mencapai 66,8% dan setelah pelaksanaan tindakan siklus ke III mengalami peningkatan sebesar menjadi 77% . (2) Keterampilan guru dalam pembelajaran sejarah melalui model CTL dengan media gambar mengalami peningkatan mulai dari siklus I menunjukkan ketercapaian 71,3%, siklus II menjadi 82,41%, dan pada siklus III menjadi 94,43%. Dari ketiga hasil tersebut kriteria keberhasilan menunjukkan tingkat kinerja guru baik. Kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran CTL dengan media gambar dalam pembelajaran sejarah berhasil meningkatkan partisipasi peserta didik yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan partisipasi peserta didik dari pra tindakan hingga akhir siklus III meningkat sebesar 53 % begitu juga halnya dengan keterampilan guru yang meningkat sebesar 23,13%.Kata kunci: CTL, Media Gambar, dan Partisipasi Peserta didik

Abstract

ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Linked Immunosorbent Assay) is one of the quantitative analysis methods that is often used to determine the levels of active compounds in biological samples. In this study, we will verify the method of determining testosterone active compounds in blood and urine samples of female patients who have PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) using the Human Testosterone ELISA Kit. Before conducting testosterone levels using ELISA, it is necessary to verify the linearity of the standard curve first to determine the effect of testosterone standard levels on the analyte response in the form of optical density. The linearity verification of the standard testosterone curve is calculated using linear regression calculations with the results of the coefficient of determination which is 0.978 with a value of α = 0.05. While for testing with the calculation of 4 parameter logistic (4PL), the results of the coefficient of determination are 0.999. Based on these results it can be concluded that the testosterone standard level has a significant influence on the response of optical density analytes.

Abstract

One solution for infertile couples to get offspring is IVF, where one of the stages is a HOT procedure, at which stage there is an increase in steroid hormone levels (estrogen) as a result of the development of ovarian follicles. The 17β-estradiol hormone was chosen to be verified because it can be used as a marker or marker to show the maturity of the follicle. Linear and logistic regression are the two most commonly used in curve making models for sandwich immunoassays. Although linear regression may be useful when analyzing samples included in the linear part of the analyte response curve, logistic regression is the preferred type of regression for multiplex immunoassays. Verification of the 17β estradiol hormone regression results using linear fit obtained the result of r = 0.952 while the regression value used 4 PL to get the result r = 0.998. But the results shown in the verification of the 17β estradiol hormone are good, this is evidenced by the use of SPSS software where F = 78.712 is obtained, where the value is greater than the value of F table (6.61) which means the value of independent variable (concentration) on value of the dependent variable (optical density value). The linearity values obtained through verification using the 4PL model indicate that the method is better linearity reported based on Linear regression.

Abstract

UMKM mempunyai peranan yang penting terhadap perekonomian di Indonesia, jumlah UMKM sekitar 99,99% dari total pelaku usaha di Indonesia dan memberikan kontribusi 57% PDB serta mampu menyerap tenaga kerja 97,3% (BPS, 2015).  Pertumbuhan kredit UMKM 7,64% pada tahun 2015, kelompok usaha menengah mendapatkan porsi 48%, usaha kecil 28% dan usaha mikro 23%. Rendahnya akses kredit bagi UMKM menarik untuk diteliti. Variabel yang digunakan adalah tingkat pendidikan pengusaha, pengalaman berusaha sebelumnya, rencana bisnis, ukuran perusahaan, lamanya berusaha, dan hubungan dengan bank. Untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan analisis Chi square. Tingkat pendidikan pengusaha, pengalaman berusaha, rencana bisnis perusahaan, ukuran perusahaan yang diukur berdasarkan jumlah aset dan jumlah karyawan perusaan, hubungan nasabah yang ditandai dengan kepemilikan simpanan terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan terhadap akses kredit perbankan. Lamanya berusaha dan lamanya menjadi nasabah tidak terdapat  hubungan dan  signifikan terhadap akses kredit

Abstract

Glycemic control is important for people with diabetes mellitus (DM) because it has implications for effortsto manage DM. Pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) is one of the many complications in DM patients associatedwith the process and results of treatment of the disease. The study aimed to determine glycemic control based onparameters of fasting blood glucose level (FBG), 2 hours post prandial blood glucose (2hPBG) and HbA1c in patientswith type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) who had pulmonary TB. A cross-sectional study was conducted on 45T2DM subjects with PTB and 45 T2DM subjects without PTB who were outpatient in two hospitals in Surabaya.The results of the examination of FBG, 2hPBG, and HbA1c were analyzed descriptively, displayed in the form ofmean values and standard deviations (SD). The mean and SD were FBG (202.11 ± 78.68 mg/dl), 2hPBG (283.20± 107.20 mg/dl), and HbA1c (11.20 ± 2.61%) in T2DM subjects with pulmonary TB while subjects without pulmonaryTB were obtained FBG (175.29 ± 61.38 mg/dl), 2hPBG (208.22 ± 75.60 mg/dl), and HbA1c (9.34 ± 2.22%).The mean of FBG, 2hPBG and HbA1c of T2DM patients with pulmonary TB were higher than T2DM withoutpulmonary TB. This shows that the control criteria for DM that have not yet reached the target need to be done inan effort to better monitor glycemic control.

Abstract

The focuses of this study were on the aspects of the human resource management (teachers and students), the management of teaching and learning, the curriculum management, and the management aspects of the school committee involvement. Through qualitative approach (case study design), researcher collected data by interviewing, school documents and observing directly to the school. The collected data were analyzed in accordance with the management aspects of the focuses have been set to determine the causes. Furthermore, the data were compared for compliance with management theories in education. Integrated curriculum of the school can improve students' knowledge of religion, and active involvement of the school committee to assist the implementation of quality learning.Satu fokus dari penelitian ini adalah pada aspek manajemen sumber daya manusia (guru dan siswa), pengelolaan pembelajaran, pengelolaan kurikulum, dan aspek manajemen keterlibatan komite sekolah. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif (rancangan studi kasus), peneliti mengumpulkan data dengan wawancara, dokumen sekolah dan mengamati langsung ke sekolah. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis sesuai dengan aspek manajemen satu fokus telah ditetapkan untuk menentukan penyebab. Selain itu, data dibandingkan untuk mematuhi teori manajemen dalam pendidikan. Kurikulum Terpadu sekolah dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang agama, dan keterlibatan aktif dari komite sekolah untuk membantu pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang berkualitas.Kata kunci: manajemen sumber daya manusia, manajemen kurikulum, manajemen pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine, and analyze the influence of certification, work climate, and work motivation on the performance of teachers either partially or simultaneously. This research was a quantitative approach using associative type, by taking a sample of 46 teachers. Data were collected using questionnaire. Data were analysed using path analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results indicated that certification has direct influence on the performance of teachers. Work climate directly affects the performance of teachers. Work motivation directly influences the performance of teachers. Certification, work climate, and work motivation simultaneously have significant impact on the performance of teachers. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui, dan menganalisis pengaruh sertifikasi, iklim kerja, dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan jenis asosiatif, dengan mengambil sampel 46 guru. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis), dan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sertifikasi berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja guru. Iklim kerja berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja guru. Motivasi kerja berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja guru.Sertifikasi, iklim kerja, dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru.Kata kunci: sertifikasi, motivasi kerja, iklim kerja.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the role of the school committee in improving the quality of education services in SMAN 2 Tumijajar, west Tulangbawang District. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach with case study design. Data was collected through interview, observation, and documentation. The results showed that each of the school committee, namely the role of advisor, support, control, and communicator has not run optimally. To improve the quality of education services in SMAN 2 Tumijajar, school committee as an independent organization is in need of support and cooperation with various parties as well as increase the professionalism and competence of the management committee of the school.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis peran komite sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu layanan pendidikan di SMAN 2 Tumijajar Tulangbawang Barat Kabupaten. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing dari komite sekolah, yaitu peran pemberi pertimbangan, dukungan, kontrol, dan penghubung belum berjalan optimal. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan pendidikan di SMAN 2 Tumijajar, komite sekolah sebagai organisasi independen ini perlu dukungan dan kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak serta meningkatkan profesionalisme dan kompetensi komite manajemen sekolah.Kata kunci: komite sekolah, manajemen berbasis sekolah, manajemen mutu, pelayanan pendidikan

Abstract

The increased of roles of the principal as an educator, manager, supervisor, leader and creator of the work climate so that there is an increase in teachers' pedagogical competence. This research used a qualitative approach. This type of research is descriptive to provide a real situation. The data sources of this research are principal as the key informant and teachers as proponent informant. The techniques of collecting data are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that (1) the role of principal is good enough (2) pedagogical competence of teachers still must be improved (3) the roles of school leadership in improving the pedagogical competence of teachers are very influential.Peningkatan peran kepala sekolah sebagai pendidik, manager, supervisor, pemimpin, dan pencipta iklim kerja sehingga dapat meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Tipe penelitian menggunakan deskriptif yang dimaksudkan untuk memberikan gambaran secara jelas. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah Kepala Sekolah sebagai informan kunci dan guru sebagai informan pendukung. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) peran kepala sekolah sudah cukup baik (2) kompetensi pedagogik guru masih harus selalu ditingkatkan (3) peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru sangat berpengaruh.Kata kunci: Kompetensi pedagogik guru, peran kepemimpinan, pendekatan
