Abstract

This research is aimed to improve concerning attitude and creativity through technology science model of geography lesson. This research is Classroom Action Research. In this research, the data was gotten in improving concerning attitude and creativity of student. The instrument which is used are observation sheets, observation of teacher worksheets, attitude observation, field records, and documentation. The result of research show that Science Technology Model and Society can improve concerning attitude and creativity of student. It was shown by average of concerning attitude and creativity of student percentage at cycles. At first cycle, the percentage of concerning attitude is 59% and students’ creativity is 54%. At second cycles, the percentage of concerning attitude improves to 72% and creativity is 66%. At third cycles, the percentage of concerning attitude improves to 79% and student creativity is 78%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Meningkatkan Sikap Kepedulian dan Kreativitas Siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran geografi. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan. Dalam penelitian ini data yang diperoleh adalah berupa peningkatan sikap kepedulian dan kreativitas siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi dan lembar pengamatan kinerja pendidik, pengamatan sikap, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan Model Sains Technology and Society dapat meningkatkan sikap kepedulian dan kreativitas siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata persentase sikap kepedulian dan kreativitas siswa pada siklusnya. Siklus I persentase sikap kepedulian 59 % dan kreativitas siswa 54%. Pada siklus II persentase sikap kepedulian naik menjadi 72% dan kreativtas 66%. Begitu pula dengan siklus III, persentase sikap kepedulian naik menjadi 79% dan kreativitas siswa 78%.Kata kunci:  kreativitas siswa, model sains technology and society, sikap kepedulian

Abstract

Purpose in this research is to see know a difference in the capacity reflect critical between students who pembelajarannya use macromedia flash and media picture on the subjects of Geography class X in SMA N 1 Seputih Mataram. Methods used to research this is the method experiment. Object this research is on use macromedia flash and media a picture of the ability of reflect critical students. Instrument data collection used is a technique the test results learning, observation, documentation. Analysis of the hypothesis done by test independent sample t-tes. This research result indicates a difference in the capacity reflect critical between students who pembelajarannya use macromedia flash and media picture on the subjects of geography class X in SMA N 1 Seputih Mataram. In other words that a difference in the capacity think critically students can occur because of media uses learning different for class trial and class comparison. In class trial using media learning macromedia flash and in class comparison using media learning picture. Media learning macromedia flash facilitate students to improve the ability to think critically caused this media a strength audio and visualnya and more intriguing than a learning picture.Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan berfikir kritis antara siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan macromedia flash dan media gambar pada mata pelajaran Geografi kelas X di SMA N 1 Seputih Mataram. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik tes hasil belajar, observasi, dokumentasi. Analisi uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji independen sampel t-tes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan perbedaan kemampuan berfikir kritis antara siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan macromedia flash dan media gambar pada mata pelajaran Geografi kelas X di SMA N 1 Seputih Mataram. Dengan kata lain bahwa perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dapat terjadi karena adanya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang berbeda untuk kelas uji coba dan kelas pembanding. Di kelas uji coba menggunakan media pembelajaran macromedia flash dan di kelas pembanding menggunakan media pembelajaran gambar. Media pembelajaran macromedia flash memudahkan siswa untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis disebabkan media ini mempunyai kelebihan audio dan visualnya serta lebih menarik dibandingkan dengan media pembelajaran gambar.Kata Kunci: Macromedia flash, media gambar, dan kemampuan berfikir kritis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: (1) measures of learning, (2) the implementation process of learning, (3) learning evaluation system, (4) improved learning outcomes IPS class VII Secondary School District 8 Metro with cooperative learning Numbered Heads Together. Research using action research with three cycles, the first cycle of cooperative learning with LKS NHT, NHT second cycle of cooperative learning by using media images and worksheets, third cycle NHT type of cooperative learning, media images and teaching materials in the form of a summary of the material with LKS. The collection of data through observation and tests competency test and quantitatively analyzed descriptively.The results: 1) design lesson plans with worksheets with syntax NHT: NHT learning with worksheets at the start by forming a study group consists of 4 members of each group to determine the serial number of each member, the student forming discussion groups according to the rules / criteria of cooperative learning groups in NHT with LKS, guiding teacher study groups, student worksheets and assignment in active discussions, the teacher said the serial number on a randomized group, students answer according to the specified number of teachers, the students were able to present the results of individual and group discussions, teachers with students making inferences. 2) student learning activities of ten defined criteria, there are four of the most prominent activity is the ability to ask, dare express opinions, give feedback bold, daring to present observations and discussions. 3) evaluation of learning through teaching Social Sciences NHT implemented via compile phase grating problem, fill out a card problem, create test questions, and conduct tests students' mastery of skills indicators that have been learned. From the results of absorption tests indicate the end of each cycle there is an increase from cycle to cycle. 4) The results of student learning has increased, the first cycle to the second cycle of student learning outcomes increased by 9.67 from 48.39% in the first cycle to 58.06%, while from the second cycle to third cycle increased by 25.81%, from 58.06% in the second cycle to 83.87% in the third cycle, it shows more than 80 the number of students achieving a landslide victory over the completeness indicator.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis (1) langkah-langkah pembelajaran. (2) proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran. (3) sistem evaluasi belajar. (4) peningkatan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas VII Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 8 Metro dengan pembelajaran kooperatif Numbered Heads Together. Penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan dengan 3 siklus, pada siklus pertama pembelajaran kooperatif NHT dengan LKS, siklus kedua pembelajaran kooperatif NHT dengan menggunakan media gambar dan LKS, siklus ketiga pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT, media gambar dan bahan ajar berupa ringkasan materi disertai LKS. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes uji kompetensi, dan dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian: 1) desain RPP NHT disertai LKS dengan sintak: pembelajaran NHT disertai LKS di awali dengan membentuk kelompok belajar berjumlah 4 anggota tiap kelompok dengan menentukan nomor urut masing-masing anggota, siswa membentuk kelompok diskusi sesuai aturan/kriteria kelompok dalam pembelajaran kooperatif NHT disertai LKS, guru membimbing kelompok belajar, siswa mengerjakan tugas pada LKS dan berdiskusi secara aktif, guru menyebutkan salah satu nomor urut pada kelompok secara acak, siswa menjawab sesuai nomor yang ditentukan guru, siswa mampu mempresentasikan hasil diskusi secara individu dan kelompok, guru bersama siswa membuat kesimpulan. 2) aktivitas belajar siswa dari sepuluh kriteria yang ditetapkan, terdapat empat aktivitas yang paling menonjol yaitu kemampuan bertanya, berani mengemukakan pendapat, berani memberikan tanggapan, berani mempresentasikan pengamatan dan diskusi. 3) evaluasi pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial melalui pembelajaran NHT dilaksanakan melalui tahap menyusun kisi-kisi soal, mengisi kartu soal, membuat soal tes, dan melaksanakan tes kemampuan siswa tentang penguasaan indikator-indikator yang telah dipelajarinya. Dari hasil tes daya serap setiap akhir siklus menunjukkan ada peningkatan dari siklus ke siklus. 4) Hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan, siklus pertama ke siklus ke dua hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 9,67 dari 48,39% pada siklus pertama menjadi 58.06% Sedangkan dari siklus kedua ke siklus ketiga mengalami peningkatan sebesar 25,81%, dari 58,06% pada siklus ke dua menjadi 83,87% pada siklus yang ketiga, hal tersebut menunjukkan lebih dari 80 jumlah siswa telak mencapai hasil di atas indikator ketuntasan.Kata kunci: hasil belajar IPS, kooperatif NHT

Abstract

This study aims to investigate teacher’s attempts to build student’s characters, the integration of character education into social learning, and supporting and hindering factors in the process of building student’s characters. This study employed the qualitative descriptive method involving a variety of procedures. The result in the classrooms are conducted, first, by integrating character education into social science learning. The methods that have effects on learning are the lecturing and disccutions methods, because  the students ore motivated by a variety of medhods. Meanwhile, the programs outside the classrooms are conducted throught a variety of activities, such as intracurricular and extracurricular activities.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya guru dalam pembentukan karakter siswa, bagaimana mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran IPS, dan melihat faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam proses pembentukan karakter siswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, deskriptif dengan berbagai macam prosedur. Hasil penelitian ini adalah guru mengupayakan pembentukan karater siswa, dengan melakukan berbagai macam program antara lain diadakan oleh kepala sekolah kepada guru, oleh guru kepada siswa. Metode yang berpengaruh dalam pembelajaran tersebut adalah ceramah dan diskusi, karena dengan metode yang bervariasi siswa termotivasi sedangkan diluar kelas dilakukan dengan berbagai macam program antara lain kegiatan intrakurikuler dan ektrakurikuler.Kata kunci: integrasi, karakter, nilai moral

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low life skills of students in class IV SD Negeri 6 Metro Timur. The purpose of this study is to determine the use of Snowball Throwing learning models in improving students' life skills. This type of research used in this research is Classroom Action Research. This study uses IV cycles. The procedure carried out in this study uses the stages of planning, action, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research are the students in class VI SD Negeri 6 Metro Timur, totaling 27 students. The results showed that the use of the Snowball Throwing learning model in social studies learning could improve students life skills. The results in the VI cycle are that of all students as many as 23 (85.19%) students have increased their life skills and of the six indicators of life skills studied have reached more than 80%. So the research was stopped until the IV cycle.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kecakapan hidup siswa di kelas IV SD Negeri 6 Metro Timur. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui penggunaan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing dalam meningkatkan kecakapan hidup siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research). Penelitian ini menggunakan IV Siklus. Prosedur yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek pernelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 6 Metro Timur yang berjumlah 27 siswa. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  penggunaan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing dalam pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan kecakapan hidup siswa. Adapun hasil pada siklus IV adalah dari keseluruhan siswa sebanyak 23 (85,19%) siswa telah meningkat kecakapan hidupnya serta dari keenam indikator kecakapan hidup yang diteliti sudah lebih dari 80% tercapai. Sehingga penelitian dihentikan sampai pada siklus IV. Kata kunci: kecakapan hidup, Snowball Throwing

Abstract

This research aimed to increase the student's activity and creativity in Geograpy learning by using Discovery learning model. The research method was a classroom action research. It had been implemented in three cycles, each cycles consisted of planning steps, actions, observations, and reflections, which purposed to improve the learning quality. The techniques applied in this research were discussions, questionings, and library-study. The data collecting techniques were learning activities observation sheets, learning creativities observation sheets, and learning test achievement in form of essay answer. Each data from the observation result and achievement test from every cycle would become data base or improvement material in the next other cycles. The result had shown that improvements could be found in both learning activities and creativities as it could be seen in students study achievements in each cycle after using the discovery model in Geography learning.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan kreativitas belajar Geografi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran yang menggunakan model discovery learning. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Kegiatan penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga siklus, tiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi, yang bertujuan untuk memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah diskusi, tanya jawab, dan kajian pustaka. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar pengamatan aktivitas belajar, lembar pengamatan kreativitas belajar dan tes hasil belajar yang berupa soal uraian. Data dari hasil observasi dan tes formatif disetiap siklus menjadi dasar atau bahan perbaikan pada siklus berikutnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: terdapat peningkatan aktivitas belajar dan kreativitas belajar siswa yang terlihat dari meningkatnya hasil belajar siswa disetiap siklus setelah penggunaan model discovery learning pada pembelajaran Geografi.Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, discovery learning, kreativitas belajar

Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to know the interactions between learning models and initial abilities. The mean differences of concept masteries and work sheets with initial ability, learning model that is more effective beetwen make a match and students worksheet in improving accounting concept. Technique used was Cluster Sampling Technique. Pre test determined groups of initial abilities, and post test of concept mastery of accounting improvement. The results interactions between learning models and initial abilities indicate 0.002 0.05, h0 is rejected; Mean high initial abilities concept masteries indicate 0,009 0,05 h0 is rejected, midle 0,564 0,05 H0 be accepted, low 0,006 0,05 h0 is rejected. Make a match is more effective. The conclusion improvement of accounting concept mastery with make a match learning is higher for high and low initial ability, while in the work sheet improvement is higher in the middle initial ability.Penelitian quasi eksperimen bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi model pembelajaran dengan kemampuan awal; perbedaan mean penguasaan konsep make a match dan LKS dengan kemampuan awal; model pembelajaran yang lebih efektif antara make a match dan LKS dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep akuntansi. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah Teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Pre test menentukan kelompok kemampuan awal, post test peningkatan penguasaan konsep. Hasil interaksi antar model pembelajaran kemampuan awal 0,002 0,05, H0 ditolak. Mean penguasaan konsep antar model kemampuan awal tinggi 0,009 0,05 H0 ditolak, sedang 0,564 0,05 H0 diterima, rendah 0,006 0,05 H0 ditolak. Make a match lebih efektif. Disimpulkan tanpa memperhatikan kemampuan awal, peningkatan penguasaan konsep make a match lebih tinggi dari LKS. Memperhatikan kemampuan awal, peningkatan penguasaan konsep make a match lebih tinggi kemampuan tinggi dan rendah, LKS lebih tinggi kemampuan sedang.Kata kunci: lks, make a match, penguasaan konsep

Abstract

This research aimed to (1) describe the application of social studies learning of STAD model in junior high school students, (2) determine the application of social studies learning of STAD model to improve the social skill of junior high school students. This is a Classroom Action Research by applying the model of cooperative learnings method, Student Team-Acievement Division (STAD) that involved 24 students of seven grade in SMPN 4 Metro as sample. The data collection retrieved by observation and application using descriptive data analysis technique. This research ran for three cycles. The results are: First, the aplication of social studies learning of STAD model in junior high shcool students proceed properly in every fase of STAD. Second, the application of social studies learning of STAD model increase the social skills, they are (1) sharing information and materials, (2) listening and speaking alternately, (3) cooperation and mutual help, and (4) self control.Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mendeskripsikan penerapan pembelajaran IPS model STAD pada siswa sekolah menengah pertama, (2) mengetahui penerapan pembelajaran IPS model STAD dalam meningkatkan keterampilan sosial pada siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindak Kelas (PTK) dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran kooperatif model Divisi Pencapaian-Tim Siswa (STAD). Sampel sebanyak 24 orang siswa kelas VIIH di SMP Negeri 4 Metro. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan dokumentasi dengan teknik analisis data deskriptif. Penelitian berjalan selama tiga siklus. Hasil penelitian adalah, Pertama, penerapan pembelajaran IPS model STAD pada siswa sekolah menengah pertama berjalan dengan sangat baik melalui setiap tahapan dalam model STAD. Kedua, penerapan pembelajaran IPS model STAD dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa yaitu (4) perilaku keterampilan sosial yang terbentuk pada siswa yaitu (1) berbagi informasi dan materi, (2) mendengar dan berbicara bergiliran, (3) bekerjasama dan saling menolong, (4) mengendalikan diri.Kata kunci : pembelajaran IPS, STAD, keterampilan sosial

Abstract

This research purposes to reveal the socio-economic conditions in fishing communities located on Labuhan Jukung beach. This research is a qualitative research with ethnographic approach using data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the results of research did not significantly change the socio-economic life of fishermen. The indicator can be seen from; Low human resources due to the low education of fishing communities, Low income levels due to lack of capital to buy fishing equipment that will affect productivity, Low health awareness, Fishermen's life patterns that look consumptive, Policy the government has not been right on target, The socio-economic situation of the community has resulted in disruption of work stability and the progress of the division region, the research of the socio-economic conditions of fishermen communities in Labuhan Jukung Beach after the expansion has not significantly progressed with the conditions at the time of expansion because government programs based on the vision and mission of division have not touched the lives of fishermen resulting in structural poverty in the community.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan kondisi sosial ekonomi  di masyarakat nelayan yang berada di pantai Labuhan Jukung. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan ethnografi menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui metode wawancara, observasi,dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil pasca pemekaran tidak mengubah secara signifika kehidupan social ekonomi nelayan. Indikatornya dapat dilihat dari; Sumber daya manusia rendah karena pendidikan masyarakat nelayan yang rendah,Tingkat pendapatan rendah karena kekurangan modal untuk membeli peralatan tangkap yang akan mempengaruhi produktivitas, Kesadaran terhadap kesehatan rendah,Pola hidup nelayan yang seperti terlihat konsumtif, Kebijakan pemerintah yang belum tepat sasaran, Keadaan sosial ekonomi masyarakat yang demikian mengakibatkan terganggunya stabilitas kerja dan kemajuan daerah pasca pemekaran sehingga menimbulkan kemiskinan struktural.Kata Kunci : Sosial Ekonomi, Masyarakat Nelayan, Kemiskinan Struktural.

Abstract

The research was stimulated learning Social Studies in SMK Negeri 1 Kalianda model of discourse learning with a low learning achievement. This study aims to develop a model of learning by Webbed  are (1) describe the analysis of needs students, (2) resulted in the design and teaching of learning syntax Social Studies Webbed models, (3) test the effectiveness of Social Studies Learning Model Webbed. The Social Studies model of learning development approach Webbed Research and Development (R D) following the research procedure Dick and Carey developed by Borg and Gall. The results of this research with an analysis of learning needs  the students within the social studies model of Webbed compose the picture in determining the theme of potential areas suitable realities of life. The Syllabus mapping by analyzing the Content Standards, Competency Standards, and Indicators Basic Competence in the implementation of learning. Social studies learning scenario design and syntax Webbed models are (1) Introduction to aperception about Webbed models. (2) the analyze mapping Competency Standards, Basic Competencies and indicators, which define and determine the relationship between the themes in the learning network social studies Model Webbed by making the grille, instrument pre-test and post-test to look for gains in learning results. (3) Develop a learning relationship with Webbed Model social studies Themes. (4) Determine the formulation of the theme. (5) To collect data to answer the formulation of the theme. (6) The test formulation in the theme. (7) To formulate conclusions Webbed theme of learning models. Based on the test results in class X Accounting effectiveness, effectiveness scores 1.015 1.
