Abstract

Indonesian Muslims have not maximally applied maturity of marriage age as an important aspect in obtaining marital success. Apart from the concept of maturity of diverse marriage age, divorces and many marital problems based on the immaturity of a married couple still rife in Indonesia. The government has even issued regulations related to the age of marriage through Law number 1 of 1974 that was revised by Law number 16 of 2019, which stipulates that marriage is limited to a minimum age of 19 years for the two brides. This article aims to find the concept of quality-oriented marriage age to complement the quantity-oriented idea as applied by the Indonesian government and as understood differently by Muslims based on the opinions of the scholars (‘ulamā). This article abstracts the concept of the ideal age of marriage from the instructions of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH as the primary reference of Islamic teachings by discussing the hadīth using the ma‘ānī al-ḥadīṡ analysis with three interpretation techniques namely textual, intertextual, and contextual interpretation to obtain comprehensive meaning. The results of the examination show that the hadīth requires the criteria for the maturity of the marriage age in the form of religious, physical, financial, and social maturity. These qualitative criteria fulfill the element of maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah and are interconnected so that they should be actualized as a new basis in the formulation of policies related to the maturity of marriage age in Muslim societies.

Abstract

The stereotype of Islam as an extremist religion is often associated with adherence in a good-looking character to the practices of ritual piety. This study aims to discuss the Hadith that allegedly refers to the presence of good-looking phenomenon from the prophetic period. The study uses a descriptive qualitative research design which relates to the basis of critical analysis through an interdisciplinary approach combining isnād-cum-matn and socio-religious phenomenology. The results indicate that the Hadith good-looking is ṣaḥīḥ (authentic) based on the review of its sanad transmission and examination on its matn. The good-looking trait is attributable to the emptiness of morality in the practice of Islamic spirituality. This vacuity is induced by religious insights focused solely on theological and normative viewpoints. The solution is to spread moral teaching and moderate religious values proactively through different methods and techniques, such as virtual proselytizing in social media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penggunaan hadis dalam khutbah Jumat baik dari segi intensitasnya, metode penyampaian, maupun kualitas rujukan dan kualitas hadis yang disampaikan oleh para khatib di masjid-masjid Kota Kendari. Penelitian sejenis sudah dilakukan di beberapa wilayah di Indonesia, namun kota Kendari belum tersentuh penelitian yang urgen ini dalam rangka mengidentifikasi kualitas dakwah dan keberagamaan yang salah satu bagian utamanya adalah perhatian yang serius terhadap hadis Nabi saw. sebagai rujukan utama dalam beragama Islam bersama dengan al-Qur’an dengan karakteristik yang banyak perbedaan dengan al-Qur’an. Penelitian dilakukan dengan melakukan recording atas proses khutbah yang berlangsung di masjid-masjid kemudian diolah dan dianalisis dengan pendekatan kaidah kesahihan hadis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan hadis dalam khutbah di Kota Kendari terbilang tinggi, meski tidak merata. Ditemukan sejumlah kekeliruan dalam penyampaian baik dari segi bacaan, teks hadis yang keliru, bahkan salah mengklaim hadis sebagai ayat, termasuk men-sahih-kan hadis palsu. Di sisi lain, hadis-hadis yang disampaikan oleh khatib mayoritas adalah hadis-hadis yang dapat dijadikan hujjah berupa hadis sahih dan hasan dan bersumber dari kitab-kitab standar, kuantitasnya sangat tinggi dibanding hadis da’if dan maudhu’ yang sangat rendah.

Abstract

هذه الرسالة تركز عن أمر من أوامر الله فى القرآن الكريم هي المحافظة على الصلاة. فتكون مهمة لتفهمها فهما عميقا بمهمة الصلاة التي أشارت إليها القرآن. ذهب الباحث باستخدام منهج موضوعي. فالوسيلة الأولي هي الكتب اللغات والكتب التفاسير بزيادة الكتب الأخري التى لها وثيقة. فيجمع المواد حسب لفظه وموضوعه ثم تحليله بالإستقرائية والمقارنة.ذكر الله عن المحافظة على الصلاة فى أربع آيات، ففى موضع ذكرها بصيغة الأمر الصريح خلال آيات النكاح والطلاق وغيرها من المعاملات، وذكرها مع صفات المصدقين وصفات المؤمنين المفلحين، وذكرها كعلاج على الهلع والجزع فى نفس الإنسان فى بعضها الآخرى.وللآيات عن المحافظة على الصلاة أسرار لغوية ومناسبات عظيمة، منها تكشف لها حقيقة المحافظة على الصلاة وما حولها من أنواع المصلين وصفاتهم فى القرآن الكريم. ومنها تكشف لنا ثمرات عظيمة بإقامة المحافظة عليها فى الدينية والدنيوية بل آثارها النفسية فى الحياة الفردية والإجتماعية.فالمحافظة على الصلاة فى هي المواظبة على إقامتها بجميع يحصل بالصلاة أصلها ويتم بها عملها وينتهي إليها كمالها ظاهرية و باطنية. فترجع إلى الاهتمام بحال الصلاة وهو أن يأتي المصلي على أكمل الوجوه بالرعاية على المواقيت التى فرضها الله والحدود التى أوجبها الله علينا وغيرها من الأركان والواجبات والمستحبات، فلا خلوة بشيء منها ولا اشتغال بشاغل عنها ولا فعل بعدها ما يتعاقض أو يتعارض معها.

Abstract

هذه الرسالة دراسة علمية عن الخطبة حقيقتها وشروطها وكيفيتها (دراسة لغوية حديثية) وهي دراسة علمية ترتكز على مشكلات ثلاث وهى نظرية الأحاديث النبوية فى صدد الخطبة حقيقتها وشروطها وكيفيتها والآثار أو الحكم الناشئ بعد إتمام الخطبة.    ولحل المشكلات المذكورة استخدم الكاتب منهجا موضوعيا بطريقة وسيلة معينة وطريقة جمع المواد من الكتب التسعة وطريقة تحليلها وتنظيمها حتي يتبين أن الخطبة فى السنة النبوية لها شروط مثل يحرم للرجل أن يخطب امرأة التى  قد حرمها الشارع له أن يخطبها وأداب مثل لا يجوز أن يخطب مخطوبة الغير والأثر الناشئ بعدها.    فالحديث النبوي يبين إجمالا وتفصيلا عن الخطبة التى قد عملها النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وعلمها إلى أصحابه رضي الله عنهم من تعريفها وشروطها وكيفيتها وأثرها بعدها حتى مقومات المرأة التى أراد الرجل خطبتها والرجل الذى ينبغي للمرأة أن تقبله حتى إنه يمكن التعايش بينهما بسلام وأمان وسعادة ووئام وطمأنينة وحب وهي غايات يحرص عليها كل الشبان والشابات والأهل من ورائهم.

Abstract

Some circles use the wife’s status as an excuse to treat women as second-class citizens. The Prophet’s hadith requiring the wife to be completely subservient to her husband, such as the hadith presupposing the requirement to prostrate to her husband, is one of the frequently misinterpreted explanations. The misreading of the hadith jeopardizes the Prophet’s mission as raḥmatan li al-‘ālamīn (mercy to entire universe). The purpose of this research is to look at the hadith regarding rā‘iyah, which is a hadith that suggests features of wife leadership in order to confirm the wife's authority in the home. This study examines how hadith experts interpret the hadith about rā‘iyah. Academics’ comprehension and application of hadith demonstrate patriarchal culture’s impact, with cultural-realistic readings still dominating. Academics’ ideal comprehension of the hadith appears to have failed to mitigate the influence of the surrounding culture. This study’s conceptual implication is that the rā‘iyah hadith refutes the idea that the wife is a second-class citizen who is submissive to the husband. A fundamental that must be fostered in Muslim households is the concept of equal responsibility for family success. This article discovers that a person’s ideal understanding of hadith is not always based on actual understanding because reality and culture might influence a person’s ideal understanding of hadith. As a result, an individual’s understanding cannot be utilized as an absolute argument that matches Islamic teachings’ goals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang anak sebagai ujian dan musuh kajian tafsir kontekstual. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis makna anak sebagai ujian dan musuh, mengeplorasi penafsiran al-Qur’an tentang anak sebagai ujian dan musuh dan mengetahui relevansi al-Qur’an tentang anak dalam merespon fenomena childfree. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pustaka, dengan data primer berupa kitab-kitab tafsir dan al-Qur’an di dukung dengan beberapa data sekunder. Data tersebut menggunakan metode kontekstual. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, diketahui bahwa makna anak sebaga ujian dan musuh yang berarti cobaan buruk atau cobaan yang menyusahkan seperti bencana dan kelaparan termasuk juga perbuatan-perbuatan yang menyimpang dan menentang kebenaran, fitnah yang berarti cobaan baik yaitu cobaan melalui kenikmatan dan kesenangan, fitnah yang berarti cobaan secara umum. Artinya, secara umum dijelaskan bahwa dalam kehidupan ini pasti ada ujian baik maupun buruk. Adapun makna musuh musuh merujuk kepada syaitan, lebih khusus lagi bahwa kata aduww atau musuh memiliki dua bentuk kata yaitu jin dan manusia. Adapun Penafsiran al-Qur’an anak sebagai ujian dan musuh peneliti menemukan beberapa ayat di dalam al-Qur’an tentang ujian dan musuh yaitu berjumlah 13, kemudian peneliti mengambil dua ayat yang penafsiran kontekstualnya secara tegas menjaskan Anak sebagai ujian dan musuh dalam al-Qur’an QS. al-Anfal/28 dan QS. at-Taghabun/14 jika diklasifikasikan menurut penafsiran kontekstual, anak sebagai ujian sudah ada pada zaman Rasulullah Saw, yang pada saat itu suatu kaum ahli Mekkah yang masuk Islam. Akan tetapi istri dan anak-anaknya menolak untuk hijrah ke Madinah untuk beribadah kepada Allah Swt. Terkait dengan konteks masa kini, ketika orangtua bekerja membanting tulang tak kenal lelah demi sang anak mencurahkan segenap upaya demi kebahagiaan anak, tetapi melalaikan kewajiban sebagai hamba untuk beribadah kepada Allah Swt. Terkait Relevansi penafsiran al-Qur’an tentang anak dalam merespon fenomena childfree. Peneliti, tidak menyalahkan orang yang melakukan childfree hanya saja dari segi pemikiran, dimana pemikiran tersebut tidak ingin mempunyai anak. Sementara didalam al-Qur’an secara tegas menyebutkan bahwa anak merupakan penyambung keturunan, harapan untuk menjadi sandaran di kala usia lanjut

Abstract

Performances of the Qur’an that appear irrelevant to authoritative interpretation discourses, such as the practise of QS. Yūsuf: 4 by a number of Tiktok users, can occasionally be found on social media. This qualitative study employs a field research design to examine these trends by observing and interviewing five Tiktok users as data sources. The researcher describes how Tiktok users practise QS. Yūsuf/12: 4 and investigates its relationship with the function of the verse’s meaning, as well as analyses the motives and sources of their behaviour using the Qur’an Reception approach. According to the findings of the study, Tiktok users perceive QS. Yūsuf/12: 4 functionally with various practises and utilising a variety of media to obtain submission, obedience, appreciation, and even love from the party he desires. This motivation stems from their understanding of the meaning of the phrase “lī sājidīn” in the verse. They claim that such acceptance refers to various interpretive sources as well as formal and informal teachers. Despite the fact that there is a semantic correlation between practise and the meaning of the verse, the intent, purpose, and message of the Prophet Yusuf's story are not represented in their practise. The rise of social media information has influenced this phenomenon, reinforcing the lack of interpretation literacy. The performance of social media users who are dominated by simplistic theological readings must be coloured by strengthening interpretation literacy and authoritative sources so that the dimension of worship in practising the Qur’an is more scientific and can be developed professionally
