Search the TIB Portal and restrict your search to the media type Book and the format electronic resource.
The results of a search in our catalogue will mainly contain fundamental works that are available as electronic full texts. The Catalogue of online resources at TIB offers additional digital sources
Licensed and ioeb e-book collections can also be found via the specialist databases.

- Ebook Central (EBC)
Over 125,000 e-books from all subject areas of the university. Not all titles are already part of the TIB collection. It is possible to send an acquisition proposal for these titles. At present, 2,700 works have been acquired for permanent access. - Hanser eLibrary
Mainly German-language specialised information for engineers and technicians in the field of mechanical engineering and economics published from 2011. - Nomos eLibrary
Access to 1,169 e-books from 2007 onwards from the fields of law, politics, sociology and Europe, as well as individual titles from the economic sciences. - RSC E-Book Collection
Royal Society of Chemistry e-books since 1968, with a few exceptions. - Springer eBooks
Over 140,000 titles, mainly in German and English, in the fields of computer science and technology, mathematics, physics, economics, humanities, social sciences and natural sciences, including current new publications. - IOP Publishing
Access to all e-books (1026 titles) for the term 2024. Contents: Physics / Mathematics. - Pearson
Access to all 1,275 German and English e-books for the term 2024. Contents: psychology, life sciences, natural sciences, engineering, computer science, B&E / business. - Beck eLibrary
Access to all e-books (approx. 4,600 titles) for the term 2024, including titles from all partner publishers - mainly economics and law. - O’Reilly for Education (ProQuest database)
Access to approx. 57,000 e-books, audiobooks, courses and videos from various publishers in the period from 1.12.2023 to 30.11.2024. These are not listed in the catalogue.- Content: Electrical engineering, measurement and control engineering, computer science, mathematics, media and communication sciences, journalism, film and theatre studies, technology in general, economics.
- Includes publications from more than 250 publishers: OReilly Media, Safari, Wiley, Pearson, Taylor & Francis, McGraw-Hill, Packt Publishing, Wiley and others.
- Access is subject to special conditions: users from the campus must register with their institution-related e-mail, as activation works via registered e-mail domains. Access has been set up for interested institutes and the mail domains @tib.eu and @stud.uni-hannover.de and is only available after personal registration. To register, select ‘Institution not listed?’ and then continue with your LUH-related e-mail address.
