Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk untuk menghasilkan e-modul Project Based Learning pada mata pelajaran Instalasi Motor Listrik yang valid, praktis, dan efektif pada mata pelajaran Instalasi Motor Listrik untuk peserta didik SMK. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development dengan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Temuan penelitian ini yaitu penelitian ini berhasil mengembangkan e-modul project based learning pada mata pelajaran Instalasi Motor Listrik. E-modul yang dikembangkan sudah efektif dilihat berdasarkan hasil belajar kognitif dan psikomotor peserta didik. Berdasarkan perbedaan hasil pretest dan posttest dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul sudah efektif. Implikasi dari penelitian ini yaitu agar e-modul dapat dikembangkan pada materi dan mata pelajaran lain hendaknya dilakukan pelatihan terhadap guru-guru tentang bagaimana membuat dan menggunakan e-modul yang mampu menarik minat peserta didik untuk belajar dan memberi nilai positif terhadap penggunaan smartphone. Kata kunci: Efektivitas, E-modul, Pengembangan

Abstract

The implementation of the vocational field work practice program is not in line with school expectations, the school still faces difficulties in finding a place to work in accordance with the expertise of students, the supervisor does not periodically monitor the business world of industry, lack of student discipline, the results of the field work practice program is declining, and the evaluation of field work practice programs has never been done at the Ketaping Aviation Vocational School. This study uses the CIPP program evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product) with a combination of balanced mixed model research methods and implemented at SMK. Qualitative research respondents were the head of the field work practice program, the head of the safety program, the supervisor, the field instructor. Quantitative research sample is class XII students who carry out practical work program in semester 3 a total of 45 samples. Data collection techniques data collection through questionnaires, documentation and interviews. Data analysis techniques were carried out on each quantitative and qualitative method, then the results of the analysis were combined to find mutually reinforcing or conflicting data and deepen the finding data. The research findings show that the context component is in the good category Input components are obtained by enough categories, the process components are obtained by enough categories and the results components are obtained by enough categories. It can be concluded that the field work practice program of Ketaping Aviation School is of sufficient value so that it needs improvement in all aspects of the components.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah browser (flyexambro) yang valid berbasis Android dengan membatasi akses terhadap fitur-fitur di perangkat handphone. Metode penelitian menggunakan pengembangan aplikasi model Extreme Programming (XP) yang terdiri dari tahapan: analisis kebutuhan; desain antarmuka; pengembangan dan implementasi; pengujian dan modifikasi; serta launching. Subjek penelitian  sebanyak 90 siswa, terdiri dari 45 siswa ujian berbasis komputer dan 45 siswa ujian berbasis handphone. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan tes pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t. Pengujian dilakukan untuk 2 pelajaran, yaitu Bahasa Indonesia dan Matematika. Nilai yang diperoleh dari kedua pengujian tersebut dianalisis untuk melihat perbedaannya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, tidak ditemukan perbedaan yang signifikan antara ujian berbasis komputer dan ujian berbasis handphone. Penggunaan browser saat ujian menggunakan handphone dapat dan layak menggantikan client berbasis komputer dari segi keamanan, kenyamanan, dan kemudahan pemakaian. AbstractThe research aims to produce a valid browser (flyexambro) based on Android by restricting access to features in mobile devices. The research method used the application development Extreme Programming (XP) model which consists of stages: needs analysis; interface designing; development and implementation; testing and modification; and launching. The research subjects were 90 students, consisting of 45 computer-based exam students and 45 mobile-based exam students. Data collection tools use multiple-choice tests. Data analysis techniques using t-test. The test was conducted for 2 lessons, namely Indonesian Language and Mathematics. The values obtained from the two tests are analyzed to see the difference. Based on the results of data analysis, no significant differences were found between computer-based and mobile-based exams. The use of this browser for exams using mobile phones can and is feasible to replace computer-based clients in terms of security, comfort, and ease of use.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of motivation towards work readiness of class XII students in SMKN 1 Lubuk Sikaping. This type of research is quantitative with correlational research methods. This research was conducted at SMKN 1 Lubuk Sikaping. The population in this study are all students of class XII SMKN 1 Lubuk Sikaping. The sampling technique used isproportional random sampling, Selected as the sample in this study amounted to 169 students. Based on the test data analysis showed that the normal data and linear. The results of testing at significance level ? of 0.05 (95% confidence level) r xy values obtained at 0.338 with 0.1456 rtabel because rhitung> rtabel then the hypothesis is accepted. This means that there is a relationship between motivation towards work readiness class XII students in SMK 1 Lubuk Sikaping.Keywords: Motivation, Work Readiness, Relation

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of principal leadership style, teacher competence, and school climates to the quality of learning outcomes. This study was a quantitative method. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire and analyzed by multiple linear regression. The results of this study are the relationship between the principal's leadership style and the school climate has t-count 7.15>t-table 1.96; the relationship between teacher competence and school climates has a value of t-count 3.66>t-table 1.96; the relationship between the principal's leadership style and the quality of learning outcomes has t-count 8.13>t-table 1.96; the relationship of teacher competence with the quality of learning outcomes has t-count 5.47>t-table 1.96; the relationship of school climate with the quality of learning outcomes has a t-count value of 5.64>t-table 1.96; the relationship between the principal's leadership style through the school climate with the quality of learning outcomes has a value of t-count 4.43>t-table 1.96; the relationship between teacher competence through school climate and the quality of learning outcomes has t-count 3.07>t-table 1.96.

Abstract

In the last five years, the west coast of Sumatra island has experienced several earthquakes with strong intensity. The Pariaman earthquake on September 30, 2009, as reported by USGS, was located on the west coast of Pariaman with a magnitude of 7.9 SR and MMI VII-VIII standard, with a depth of 80 km. has caused victims to humans and property which is quite large. The socialization carried out is in the form of presentations in the classroom. The material presented includes the definition of a disaster, types of disasters (natural, non-natural, and social disasters), disaster management (before a disaster, when a disaster occurs, after a disaster).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze prospective science teachers’ self-confidence in computational thinking skills on three main points: (i) prospective science teachers’ self-confidence in computational thinking skills, (ii) differences in prospective science teachers’ self-confidence in computational thinking skills as per gender, and (iii) differences in prospective science teachers’ self- confidence in computational thinking skills as per expertise (Biology and Physics). A quantitative cross-sectional survey methodology was used as the research design. A total of 1023 prospective science teachers (biology and physics) were randomly selected as the research sample from the 1959 total population. Data were collected using a self-confidence questionnaire on computational thinking skills. The adaptation results were assessed first by five experts before being tested on 74 prospective science teachers from different universities. The results show that prospective science teachers’ self-confidence in computational thinking skills was generally high (Mean = 78.57). The Mann-Whitney U test found no difference in prospective science teachers’ self-confidence in computational thinking skills as per gender (Mean= 78.05, SD= 9.03 for male, Mean= 78.73, SD= 6.86 for female, with a value of F= 6.028, Z= -0.891, Sig= 0.373 0.05). The Independent Sample t-test also showed no difference in prospective science teachers’ self-confidence in computational thinking skills as per expertise. This study concludes that prospective science teachers have high self-confidence in computational thinking skills as crucial skills in the science teaching profession.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe existence of information and communication technology (ICT) in an organization is expected to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. This condition is sometimes far from what is expected and instead slows organizational activities such as the ability to use computer-based information systems that are still low, and user experience is still small so that it affects the acceptance of an information system. Job Analysis and Workload Analysis Information System (SINJAB) is designed to provide the results of job analysis and workload analysis from a Central / Regional agency for the implementation of institutional, staffing, management and supervision arrangements to the competency-based apparatus and performance. This article discusses the process of measuring the usefulness of the acceptance of the SINJAB. The method used is the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The parameters used to measure variable factors such as experience, self-confidence, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use on the acceptance of the SINJAB. The object of the study was conducted at the Government of the City of Payakumbuh, West Sumatra. The findings state all the factors of experience, self-confidence, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease affect the SINJAB.Keywords:Keywords: ICT, SINJAB ,technology acceptance modelABSTRAKKeberadaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) dalam suatu organisasi diharapkan dapat meningkat efisien dan efektifitas organisasi. Kondisi ini kadang-kadang jauh dari apa yang diharapkan dan malah memperlambat aktifitas organisasi seperti kemampuan menggunakan sistem informasi berbasis komputer yang masih rendah, dan pengalaman pengguna masih sedikit sehingga mempengaruhi penerimaan suatu sistem informasi. Sistem Informasi Analisis Jabatan dan Analisis Beban Kerja (SINJAB) dirancang untuk menyediakan hasil analisis jabatan dan analisis beban kerja dari suatu instansi Pusat/Daerah untuk pelaksanaan penataan kelembagaan, kepegawaian, ketatalaksanaan dan pengawasan kepada aparatur yang berbasis kompetensi dan kinerja. Artikel ini membahas tentang proses pengukuran tingkat kebergunaan penerimaan SINJAB. Metode yang digunakan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Parameter yang digunakan untuk mengukur faktor variabel seperti pengalaman, keyakinan diri, persepsi manfaat, dan persepsi kemudahan penggunaan terhadap penerimaan SINJAB. Objek kajian dilakukan pada Pemerintah Kota Payakumbuh Sumatera Barat. Hasil temuan menyatakan semua faktor pengalaman, keyakinan diri, persepsi manfaat, dan persepsi kemudahan berpengaruh terhadap SINJAB.Kata Kunci: TIK , SINJAB , technology acceptance model

Abstract

This research focused on the development a new learning model in Vocational Education to answer the challenges of this Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. The problem identified was the lack of learning outcomes, especially subjects oriented to software engineering for information systems students in particular and other computer science seen in the phenomenon of the inability of students to produce intelligent systems. From a series of validity, practicality, and effectiveness test results, use content validity with Aiken'V and construct validity with CFA (Confirmatory Factor Analysis) states that the model resulting from this study is stated, valid, practical and effective. This study also produced a new learning model with five syntaxes, namely (1) Define Problem and Design a Plan Project, (2) Interaction with Support System, (3) Create a Project, (4) Keep control and Monitoring Project, (4) Yield and Assessment of Project. And based on the test of the validity of the syntax of this model stated goodness-of-fit or valid.
