Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurang siapnya siswa kelas XII untuk berwirausaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur: (1) kontribusi penguasaan pengetahuan produktif terhadap kesiapan siswa berwirausaha, (2) kontribusi pengalaman praktek kerja industri terhadap kesiapan siswa berwirausaha, (3) Kontribusi penguasaan pengetahuan produktif dan pengalaman praktek kerja industri secara bersama-sama terhadap kesiapan siswa berwirausaha.Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif korelasional, populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII TKJ di SMK Negeri 6 Padang sebanyak 29 siswa, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 29 siswa dengan teknik total sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner menggunakan Skala Likert, teknik analisis data diantaranya regresi sederhana dan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) penguasaan pengetahuan produktif berkontribusi terhadap kesiapan siswa berwirausaha sebesar 26,7%; (2) Pengalaman praktek kerja industri berkontribusi terhadap kesiapan siswa berwirausaha sebesar 29,2% dan (3) penguasaan pengetahuan produktif dan pengalaman praktek kerja industri berkontribusi secara bersama-sama terhadap kesiapan siswa berwirausaha sebesar 40,5%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diharapkan kepada SMKN 6 Padang, agar meningkatkan kesiapan siswa untuk belajar dengan cara memberikan pengayaan kepada siswa tentang pengetahuan produktif yang telah diberikan sehingga siswa dapat memahami kembali materi produktif dan melakukan pengawasan secara efektif terhadap pelaksanaan prakerin dengan baik. Kata kunci: penguasaan pengetahuan produktif, Pengalaman praktek kerja industri, kesiapan berwirausaha

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the Implementation of Field Work Practices of SMK Negeri 1 Padang. Evaluation of Field Work Practices is seen from the aspects of Input, Process, Output, Outcome faced in the implementation of street vendors. The research method used is a combination of Concurrent Embedded design methods, combining quantitative and qualitative research methods sequentially, where in the first stage the study uses quantitative methods and in the second stage qualitative methods. The results showed that the Implementation of Field Work Practices at SMK Negeri 1 Padang Electrical Engineering expertise program as a whole included. Input evaluation according to reality obtained an average standard score of 74.27% with the Fair category, and Input evaluation according to expectations obtained an average standard score of 89.58% with the Very Good category. Process Indicators according to reality obtained a percentage level of 74.14% with the category Fair. As for the Process indicator as expected, a percentage level of 88.56% was obtained with the Good category. Output indicators according to reality obtained a percentage level of 72.65% with the category Fair. As for the Output indicator as expected, a percentage level of 89.13% was obtained. with the category of Very Good. Outcome indicators according to reality obtained a percentage level of 72.36% with the category Fair. As for the Outcome indicator as expected, a percentage level of 88.41% was obtained with the Good category. Based on the findings of this study it was concluded that the Field Work Practices program for students in the SMK Negeri 1 Padang  were still in the Fair category, which needed to be improved for each aspect.

Abstract

Technology has reached a level where today is a time for genuine educational reform that increases the achievement of student content by teaching lessons relevant to the industrial revolution 4.0. In the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, the challenges faced by education involved the cultivation of new technologies, because students were raised on new technologies so that they were impatient if they only filled out worksheets and listened to lectures, so that interesting media such as the Computer Based Instruction-Flipped Classroom were needed. The purpose of this study is to determine the needs analysis and design of the Computer Based Instruction-Flipped Classroom. The method used in this study is the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) waterfall. The results of this study explain that the age of vocational students is in the range of 15 years to 18 years where vocational students are entering the stages of adolescent development. Characteristics of students at that age have a tendency to like contrasting colors, but not striking. Combining the components of color, music, and student creativity in learning with fun, it takes interesting media such as Computer Based Instruction-Flipped Classroom, as well as the design of Computer Based Instruction-Flipped Classroom using flowcharts, Unified Modeling Language (UML), which consists of designs use cases and sequence diagrams.

Abstract

The implementation of the curriculum as per industrial needs should be improved in terms of qualifications of teachers, tools, practicum materials, and the use of learning models as per industry needs. This study aims to evaluate the used curriculum of light vehicle engineering department as per industry needs. This study uses discrepancy evaluation model (design, installation, process, product and comparison) that describes the implementation of curriculum according to the industry needs from various aspects, namely: design, installation, process, product and comparison. The study results concluded that achievement level of curriculum implementation as needed in the design component obtained an average score of 4.28 (83.17%) classed in a good category; installation components get an average score of 3,502 (78.47%) classified in sufficient categories; process components get an average score of 4.05 (81.75%) classed in a good category; and product components that scored an average of 4.02 (81.26%) classified in a good category. As well as in the comparison component that obtained an average score of 3,324 (74.27%) classified in sufficient categories. The implementation of vocational school curriculum majoring in light vehicle engineering as a whole is categorized as sufficient. Therefore, it needs a follow-up from the relevant parties for a better implementation.; one of which is by revising the curriculum to fit the needs of the industry.

Abstract

Sistem distribusi sebagai sistem penyaluran tenaga listrik yang langsung berhubungan dengan pelanggan harus memperhatikan tingkat keandalannya yaitu dapat menyuplai tenaga listrik ke konsumen secara kontiniu.Tingkat keandalan suatu system dapat ditentukan dengan menghitung SAIFI (SistemAvarage Interruption Frequency Index) dan SAIDI (Sistem Avarage Interruption Duration Index) yaitu frekuensi pemadaman dan lama pemadaman yang dialami system distribusi dalam rentang waktu tertentu.Penelitian ini bertujuan menghitung  indeks keandalan jaringan tegangan menengah 20 kV di Wilayah Area Pelayanan Jaringan (APJ) Padang.Perhitungan indeks keandalan didasarkan pada indeks keandalan berbasis sistem yaitu SAIFIdan SAIDI. Berdasarkan perhitungan dan analisis indeks keandalan berbasis sistem  pada jaringan tegangan menengah Area Pelayanan Jaringan (APJ) Padang tahun 2009, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa indeks keandalan berbasis system pada Area Pelayanan Jaringan (APJ) Padang termasuk tingkat keandalan rendah.Kata kunci: Keandalan, SAIFI, SAIDI, APJ Padang

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreatif mahasiswa jurusan komputer di Kota Padang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuisioner yang dibuat menggunakan google form kemudian disebarkan kepada responden penelitian yang berjumlah 115 mahaiswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan persentase per indikator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa tergolong rendah pada indikator memberikan penjelasan lebih lanjut dan menarik kesimpulan, serta keterampilan berpikir kreatif untuk berpikir secara lancar dan orisinil mahasiswa masih rendah. AbstractThe research aimed to describe the critical and creative thinking skills profiles of students majoring in computer in the city of Padang. The research method used descriptive research. Data were collected through a questionnaire made using google form and then distributed to 115 respondents. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis using percentages per indicator. The results showed that the students' critical thinking skills were low on the indicators of providing further explanation and drawing conclusions, and the students' creative thinking skills to think fluently and originally were still low.

Abstract

This research is in the background of not yet optimal learning media. Microcontroller trainers in subjects operate an electronic control system (MSPE) in class XI TITL of SMK N 1 Padang. This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of robot arm microcontroller trainers. This type of research is research and development. This development study used the Bord and gall development model. The research subjects were class XI TITL students at SMK Negeri 1 Padang. Respondents used for practicality tests are class XI TITL students at Padang State Vocational School and MSPE subject teachers. The research instruments used were three, namely validation sheet, practicality questionnaire, effectiveness test using an objective test. Based on the results of the study obtained data validity that is validator 1 by 81%, validator 2 by 83%, teacher practical results by 87.3% and student practical results by 88.90%, the results of the effectiveness test were 89.29.7%. The implication of this study is that if there is a change in the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes, the trainer can be used as a learning medium

Abstract

Student learning process activities must have teaching materials so that it can make it easier for students to understand the learning material. The learning module developed is in the form of online teaching materials or in electronic form. The development of learning modules is carried out to produce valid and practical learning modules. The module being developed is a learning module on the Application of Electronic Compounds for class XI TAV which is Web-based. The research was conducted at SMKN 1 Koto XI Tarusan which does not yet have teaching materials in the electronic form to help students learn independently. The development of the learning module for the application of electronic circuits was developed using a 4-D development model. The research method, namely R&D (Research & Development) in the development procedure using 4-D, there are four stages, namely the first stage of defining, the second stage of design, the third stage of development (develop), and dissemination (disseminate). Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire with data analysis techniques using percentage techniques. Based on the research results, the validity value was obtained in the valid category. Practicality tests with teacher respondents were obtained in the very practical category and practicality tests with student respondents were obtained in a very practical category.

Abstract

This research discusses the development of e-module learning for Motor Control Trainer and PLC Trainer in the subject of Electrical Motor Installation Class XII TITL 1 at SMKN 1 Kec. Guguak. E-learning module is self-instructional which directs students to learn independently. Therefore, e-modules are a very good tool to use in the learning process and self-evaluate independently, thereby increasing learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to develop a valid and practical e-module for learning. This type of research is research and development Research and Development. This research uses the 4-D model which consists of 4 steps, namely: define, design, develop, and disseminate. Collecting research data using validity and practicality questionnaires that have been validated by instrument expert lecturers. The results of e-module development research on the distribution of e-module validity questionnaires to respondents two Electrical Engineering lecturers and two Electric Motor Installation subject teachers got the average percentage results on very valid criteria. In distributing the e-module practicality questionnaire to respondents two teachers of the subject of Electric Motor Installation, they got the average percentage results on the very practical criteria and the e-module practicality questionnaire to the respondents 21 students got the average percentage results on very practical criteria. From the research data described, it shows that the development of e-modules made for the subject of Electrical Motor Installation has been criticized as valid and practical.
