Abstract

Abstract: Islamic Syariah and Ngangkang Style: Identifying Local Wisdom and Acehnese Women Identity. This article studies the regulation issued by Lhokseumawe Mayor who banned the women from straddling while sitting on motorcycle, regarding it as against the Islamic law. This regulation has sparked strong criticism not only from activist but also from pluralist, both inside and outside the Aceh province alike. For some, this regulation is considered as backward step and for others as a form of discrimination against women’s right. One key to understand this problem is by looking at the Acehnese identity and culture which constitute aspects of anthropology. The writer concludes that such law is neither the best way to protect the women nor the Islamic solution, but an ancient culture to be popularized by the Mayor to direct the attention of the Lhokseumawean as if he has fulfilled their interest. By introducing this regulation he seems to protect morality and behavior, but at the same time he has discriminated his own people.Kata Kunci: qanun, identitas, kearifan lokal, ngangkang, perempuan Aceh

Abstract

Religious pluralisme among Muslims itself raises pros and cons, acceptance on the one hand and resistance on the other. Supporters of religious pluralisme argue that this idea is a necessity in the midst of Indonesia's pluralistic condition. Opponents of religious pluralisme are of the view that this idea is misleading, because it tends to mix up religious teachings and assumes that all religions are true. The climax of the conflict over the notion of religious pluralisme was the issuance of a fatwa by the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) regarding the prohibition of pluralisme, secularism and religious liberalism. This research was conducted to examine more deeply the MUI's views on religious pluralisme. This study aims to find out why some issues of religious pluralisme have received a response from the MUI and how the MUI views religious pluralisme. To examine this problem, a descriptive analysis method was used, namely a problem solving that includes recording, interpreting and analyzing MUI's views on religious pluralisme and writings related to it. The results of the research are: The issue of religious pluralisme and the development of secular and liberal thinking in Indonesia received a firm response from the MUI because pluralisme, secularism and religious liberalism were seen by the MUI as having distorted Islamic teachings and had raised people's doubts about the Islamic creed and sharia. The MUI's view of pluralisme, secularism and religious liberalism is an understanding that is contrary to the teachings of Islam. It is forbidden for Muslims to follow the notions of pluralisme, secularism and religious liberalism. In matters of aqidah and worship, Muslims must be exclusive, in the sense that it is forbidden to mix the aqeedah and worship of Muslims with the aqeedah and worship of followers of other religions. For Muslim communities who live with adherents of other religions (religious plurality), in sosial issues that are not related to faith and worship, Muslims are inclusive, in the sense that they continue to engage in sosial relations with adherents of other religions as long as they do not harm each other.

Abstract

The demand for low-cost carbons with multi-doping in supercapacitors has led to a significant focus on utilizing biomass waste to produce activated carbons. The research successfully utilized Musa paradisiaca L. (MPL) peel as a porous carbon for solid-state supercapacitor. The process involved collecting banana peel waste, drying the peels using sunlight, pre-carbonization using a furnace, pH neutralization, drying, crushing carbon particles, and ensuring uniform particle size. Different concentrations of the catalytic ZnCl2 solution (300, 500, and 700 mmol/g) were selected to optimize physical and electrochemical properties. The resulting chemically activated MPL carbon powder was evaluated using SEM-EDS, XRD, and BET. MPL activated carbon with a 500 mmol/g solution of ZnCl2 was found to have optimal physical properties with a carbon percentage of 81.65%, oxygen 17.39%, phosphorus 0.42%, and boron 0.52%. Electrochemical properties were evaluated using dual-electrode system was exhibited the highest specific capacitance of 67 F/g. These findings demonstrate the potential of MPL peel waste as a high quality electrode for supercapaicor next-generation.

Abstract

Websites are an effective medium of promotion. With a website, businesses have the opportunity to reach consumers on a much wider scale compared to traditional promotional methods. In addition, the cost of developing and managing a website also tends to be more efficient than print advertising or other physical promotional media. To maximize this potential, site developers must ensure that user experience is a top priority. A website of poor quality can damage their perception of the professionalism and credibility of the business. Therefore, thorough testing is required to ensure user comfort in using the website. Testing will be carried out on the Botanica Beauty site which has various functional features that interact directly with users. In this research, testing was carried out on the “Create Product” feature with a focus on testing the upper limit value and lower limit value of the input process. The results of the tests conducted showed a success rate of 65%. Based on this percentage, it can be concluded that the Botanica Beauty Salon website is quite satisfactory. However, improvements are still needed to achieve a higher level of reliability.
