Abstract

The issuance of Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government provides broader autonomy to each region (Province) and Region (Regency/City) to regulate their own regions. In the realm of Education, this autonomy not only builds independence but also raises other problems that complicate regional government. With a qualitative approach using the Literature Study Analysis method with Primary Data in the form of Law Number 23 of 2014 and Law Number 20 of 2003 as the Main Data from several Journals, several Government problems can be found related to the distribution of authority such as Coordination Between Levels of Government, Human Resource Capacity, Funding and Budget, Management of Educators and Infrastructure and Facilities. The resolution of the problems that have been conveyed requires efforts to improve coordination between levels of government, strengthening the capacity of human resources in the regions, clarity in budget allocation, and equal distribution of educators and development of educational infrastructure. It is hoped that this article can provide an overview of micro problems in the regions and then sit together to solve these problems.

Abstract

This study describes early childhood development in Rambutan District, Jalan Lingkar Selatan, Sungai Pinang village and analyze the role of early childhood education (PAUD) in supporting children’s growth and development in various aspects. With a descriptive qualitative approach, data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that children’s physical, cognitive, social emotional, moral, and religious development differed, depending on the family environment, access to education, and the quality of social interaction. Children involved in the PAUD program with a play-based curriculum showed good development, especially in cognitive and social aspects. In addition, collaboration between PAUD institutions and parents is very important in creating a supportive learning environment. This study suggests the development of a curriculum based on local values, increasing teacher capacity, and utilizing technology to improve the quality of early childhood education in the area.

Abstract

The development of the Society 5.0 era demands the formation of the character of the young generation who are able to adapt morally and spiritually in a world dominated by technology and information. In this context, the role of teachers is not only as a transmitter of material, but also as a facilitator of character education based on Islamic values is very important. This article aims to explore the strategic role of teachers as facilitators of Islamic character education in forming people with character amidst the challenges of globalization and digital disruption. With a descriptive qualitative approach, this study examines the literature and observations of character education practices in various educational units. The results show that teachers who internalize Islamic values consistently are able to become effective role models, motivators, and companions in forming the character of students who have integrity, empathy, and global insight.ABSTRAKPerkembangan era Society 5.0 menuntut pembentukan karakter generasi muda yang mampu beradaptasi secara moral dan spiritual dalam dunia yang didominasi oleh teknologi dan informasi. Dalam konteks ini, peran guru tidak hanya sebagai penyampai materi, tetapi juga sebagai fasilitator pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai Islam menjadi sangat penting. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran strategis guru sebagai fasilitator pendidikan karakter Islam dalam membentuk insan berkarakter di tengah tantangan globalisasi dan disrupsi digital. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, studi ini mengkaji literatur dan observasi praktik pendidikan karakter di berbagai satuan pendidikan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa guru yang menginternalisasi nilai-nilai Islam secara konsisten mampu menjadi teladan, motivator, dan pendamping yang efektif dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik yang berintegritas, empatik, dan berwawasan global.

Abstract

Learning management in Islamic education plays a crucial role in fostering effective, efficient, and values-oriented learning processes rooted in Islamic principles. This article explores the concepts, strategies, and implications of developing learning management in Islamic education. This study employs a qualitative-descriptive literature review approach, analyzing 35 sources published between 2015 and 2024. Findings indicate that learning management in Islamic education involves planning, implementation, and evaluation based on the Quran and Hadith, with a focus on character development and the integration of learning technology. These findings contribute to the theoretical foundation of value-based learning management in Islamic education and provide recommendations for enhancing teacher competencies, improving curricula, and fostering innovation in learning models. The study emphasizes the importance of collaboration between educational institutions, government, and society to build a sustainable Islamic learning ecosystem.ABSTRAKManajemen pembelajaran dalam pendidikan Islam memainkan peran penting dalam membangun proses pembelajaran yang efektif, efisien, dan berorientasi nilai yang berakar pada prinsip-prinsip Islam. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi konsep, strategi, dan implikasi pengembangan manajemen pembelajaran dalam pendidikan Islam. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan tinjauan literatur kualitatif-deskriptif, menganalisis 35 sumber yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2015 dan 2024. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pembelajaran dalam pendidikan Islam melibatkan perencanaan, implementasi, dan evaluasi yang didasarkan pada Al-Quran dan Hadis, dengan fokus pada pembentukan karakter dan integrasi teknologi pembelajaran. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada landasan teoretis manajemen pembelajaran berbasis nilai Islam dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru, memperbaiki kurikulum, serta mendorong inovasi dalam model pembelajaran. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi antara lembaga pendidikan, pemerintah, dan masyarakat untuk membangun ekosistem pembelajaran Islam yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan fondasi bagi pembangunan suatu bangsa, dan guru adalah garda terdepan dalam proses tersebut. Dalam perspektif Al-Qur'an dan Hadits, peran guru diakui sebagai posisi yang sangat mulia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana ajaran Islam menekankan pentingnya peran guru dan bagaimana hal ini dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, terutama pada perayaan Hari Guru. Dengan menggunakan metode studi literatur, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data dari berbagai sumber untuk memberikan gambaran yang komprehensif tentang penghargaan terhadap guru dalam konteks keagamaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penghargaan terhadap guru tidak hanya penting secara sosial, tetapi juga merupakan bagian dari implementasi ajaran Islam yang lebih luas.

Abstract

School culture serves as a fundamental foundation in shaping a positive, conducive, and character-oriented learning environment. This study aims to describe and analyze the strategies and practices involved in developing school culture at SMP PGRI 11 Palembang and SMP IT Bina Insan Islamic School Rambutan. Using a qualitative approach, the research explores the values, traditions, and practices that form an integral part of the cultural development in both schools. The findings reveal that the development of school culture is strongly influenced by the institution's vision and mission, as well as the active involvement of all school components, including students, teachers, and parents. A positive school culture has been shown to enhance students’ learning motivation and academic achievement. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for other educational institutions in cultivating an effective and sustainable school culture.
