Abstract

Poverty is a problem faced by all countries in the world, especially developing countries such as Indonesia. Poverty is a measure of a countrys welfare, as measured by the powerlessness of a person to meet the minimum needs. In Indonesian poverty are unresolved issues with the reason that almost all Indonesian provinces have poverty rates over 10 percent. The object of this study is the North Sumatera Province which entitles “An Analysis of Education, Unemployment, Average Consumption per Capita on Poverty in North Sumatera 2001-2013". The main objective of this study was to analyze the effect of education, unemployment, average consumption per capita on poverty in North Sumatera. The data used in this study is the secondary time series data from 2001 to 2013 obtained from BPS of North Sumatera. The method used in this study is Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The result shows the value of R² of 0,9115, which means by 91,15 % the proportion of independent variables studied were able to explain the variation of the dependent variable in the model, while the remaining 8,85% explained by other variables that are not used in this study. This study shows the significant effect with the number of open unemployment, average consumption per capita to the number of poor people in North Sumatera. While the influence of the index of education not significant effect on the number of poor people in North Sumatera. The amount of effect is shown by the variable coefficient value - independent variables, namely: -0,3996 for the index of education, and 1,162 for a variable number of open unemployment, -2.3048 for the variable average consumption per capita. Abstract

Economic development is determined by many factors, for example by the state of natural resources, human resource capabilities, and technology. Many countries are expanding references to political-economic development that still focus on the availability of their natural resources. Experience in some developed countries such as Japan and Singapore shows that the availability of natural resources is in fact not a dominant factor in political-economic development. Countries with limited natural resources have, it turns out to have a comparative advantage in the field of human resources and technology. The development of human resources needs to get dominant attention due to the limitations of its natural resources. The responsibility for development lies with the community and the government.

Abstract

UPT SDA Bah Bolon, Dinas Sumber Daya Air, Cipta Karya Dan Tata Ruang Provinsi Sumatera Utara realizes the community's need for the availability of irrigation services through enhancement, development, maintenance, preservation of irrigation networks, and optimization of the functions of irrigation building facilities. It is expected that employees will be able to work optimally in line with the increase in population and economic growth. This study aimed to know how far the influence of teamwork towards work satisfaction and their effect on employee work performance. There were 96 government employees involved in this study and it was conducted in UPT Bah Bolon. The study showed that teamwork affects the job satisfaction of employees. Another result in the study showed that teamwork did affect the employee performance, and job satisfaction of employees affect the employee work performance.

Abstract

The formulation of this research problem is how the influence of Leadership and Job Satisfaction on Work Discipline at Balai Diklat Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Pematangsiantar. The research method used in this paper is literature research and field research. Its population is employees of Balai Diklat Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Pematangsiantar amounted to 57 people. The data used are data by qualitative and qualitative data, and data collection techniques by questionnaire, interview and documentation. Then the technique of data analysis using qualitative descriptive method and quantitative descriptive method. Results of analysis of multiple linier regression is Ŷ = 26,243 + 1,232X1 + 0,681X2, means there is a positive influence between leadership and job satisfaction on work discipline. The strength of the relationship between the three variables is strong, is r = 0,752. From the coefficient of determination can be explained high low work discipline 56,5%, and the remaining 43,5% explained by other factors that are not discussed in this study. From the results of processing and calculation of the questionnaire, the authors get the conclusion that the leadership and job satisfaction applied Balai Diklat Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Pematangsiantar have a positive and significant effect on work discipline. This is proven by hypothesis testing simultaneously, where the test result fhitung (35,062)> fhitung (3,17) with significance level 0,000 < alpha 0,05. Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan faktor penting untuk memajukan peradaban suatu negara. Proses pendidikan dapat berjalan dengan baik melalui kinerja guru yang produktif. Hasil dari proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru dan peserta didik akan menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas dan mampu bersaing. Untuk itu, diperlukan komitmen guru untuk mencapai tujuan sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bahwa komitmen guru memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja guru. Jumlah responden yang diperoleh sebanyak 44 orang. Untuk mendapatkan data penelitian diperoleh melalui pembagian kuesioner, wawancara, serta dokumentasi baik secara langsung dari objek penelitian maupun dari sumber referensi yang berkaitan penelitian ini. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah komitmen guru sudah tinggi begitu juga dengan kinerja guru yang baik. Komitmen dan kinerjamemiliki hubungan yang kuat. Hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh bahwa komitmen guru memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru.Kata kunci: Komitmen Guru, Kinerja Guru

Abstract

Riset bertujuan mengetahui, yakni: 1. gambaran deskripsi pekerjaan, koordinasi, serta kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Pusat Gereja Kristen Protestan Simalungun (GKPS) Pematangsiantar; 2. pengaruh deskripsi pekerjaan dan koordinasi terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Pusat Gereja Kristen Protestan Simalungun (GKPS) Pematangsiantar. Untuk memperoleh hasil riset digunakan desain penelitian kepustakaan dan lapangan, sehingga disimpulkan bahwa deskripsi pekerjaan, koordinasi, dan kinerja pegawai telah baik; hasil analisis regresi yakni: Ŷ= 13, 766+ 0, 546X1+ 0, 518X2 berarti deskripsi pekerjaan dan koordinasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja; hasil analisis korelasi didapat angka r= 0,743 maksudnya ada hubungan yang kuat dan positif antara deskripsi pekerjaan dan koordinasi dengan kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Pusat Gereja Kristen Protestan Simalungun (GKPS) Pematangsiantar. Tinggi rendahnya kinerja pegawai 55,1% bisa dijelaskan oleh deskripsi pekerjaan dan koordinasi; hipotesis H0 ditolak, artinya deskripsi pekerjaan dan koordinasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Pusat Gereja Kristen Protestan Simalungun (GKPS) Pematangsiantar baik dengan cara simultan ataupun parsial.Kata kunci: Deskripsi Pekerjaan, Kepuasan Kerja, Kinerja Pegawai

Abstract

The result of this study can be summarized as follows: 1. Theheadmaster’s leadership style, the work environment and the teacher’s performance’s good. 2. The results of regression analysis isŶ = 50,391 + 1,005X1 + 1,893X2, its means the headmaster’s leadership style and the work environment had a positive effect on teacher’s performance’s good. 3. The results of the analysis correlations get value r = 0,770, its means that there is a high and positive correlations between headmaster’s leadership style, work environment to the teacher’s performance’s. The level of teacher’s performance’s can be explained by headmaster’s leadership style and work environment as big as 59,3%. 4. The results of testing the hypothesis H0 is rejected, its means the headmaster’s leadership style and the work environment had a positve and significant effect to the teacher’s performance’s of simultaneous or partial.                                             The suggestation of this research result are: 1. To realize an effective leadership style should the principal make a policy made with consultation with teachers 2. To realize a comfortable working environment needs to improve the physical work environment and non physical work environment 3. To optimize the performance of teachers, the agency should pay special attention to every teacher so that the teachers can complete the task well.                    Keywords: Headmaster’s Leadership Style, Work Environment and Theacher’s Performance

Abstract

The suggestation of this research results are: 1. To improve personality employees in carrying out tasks should pay attention to the time and result of what is done. 2. To increase motivation it is better if agencies provide bonuses or incentives and hold annual or monthly holidays so that they can increase the motivation and work spirit of employee. 3.
