Abstract

This study aims to determine dividend policy can be a mediating variable from the influence of leverage and profitability on firm value in LQ 45 index companies. This study uses quantitative research with purposive sampling technique and obtains 80 observational data. Data analysis techniques used include classical assumption test, simple linear regression, correlation coefficient and determination as well as hypothesis testing simultaneously or partially. The results of the study show that leverage and profitability have a significant effect on dividend policy. Profitability and dividend policy have a significant effect while leverage has no significant effect on firm value. Based on the Sobel test, dividend policy is not able to mediate leverage and profitability on firm value.

Abstract

This study analyzed the effects of financial ratios (CR, DER, TATO, and NPM) on changes in profits in consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study was all continuously registered Consumer Goods companies in 2015-2019, while the samples used as the object of research amounted to 15 companies using the purposive sampling technique. The model used in the data analysis was panel data regression with the help of Eviews 10. The results indicated that only NPM had a positive and significant effect on changes in earnings changes while the CR, DER, and TATO had no significant effect on earnings changes.

Abstract

Cryptocurrency or virtual currency is a form of investment that has developed since 2010. Today, there are more than 2,000 types of crypto currencies worldwide. Cryptocurrency research in Indonesia is still focused on the legal status and legal status of cryptocurrency investments. This quantitative descriptive study aims to describe the returns and risks of investing in crypto currencies. Descriptive analysis by calculating risk measures and using the heteroscedastic model GARCH (1,1) was carried out on the return data of 15 crypto currencies that had the greatest value. Information was obtained that investing in most crypto currencies resulted in higher returns than investing in foreign currencies or the stock market. On the other hand, Crypto currencies have a higher risk of loss and volatility clustering or heteroscedasticity. Further research is needed to uncover the characteristics of Crypto currency returns and their performance in the form of a portfolio.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh hadirnya facebook marketplace terhadap minat beli. Populasi dari penelitian adalah warga kota Pematangsiantar dengan menggunakan cluster sampling serta waktu penelitian dilakukan selama bulan Oktober 2020 dengan jumlah responden yang diperoleh 168 orang. Hasil data kuisioner dari penelitian dinyatakan valid, data reabilitas penelitian menunjukan hasilnya realiabel, data dalam penelitian berdistribusi normal, besar kemampuan variabel bebas facebook marketplace terhadap variabel terikat minat beli sebesar 60 %. Hasil penelitian terdapat pengaruh positif hadirnya facebook marketplace terhadap minat beli, karena ketika facebook marketplace meningkat kontribusinya maka minat beli juga akan meningkat

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of liquidity, leverage, and capital intensity on tax aggressiveness. The population in this study are all companies listed in the IDX during the research period: 2017-2020 and not in the banking sector. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The sample obtained is as many as 13 companies, with the number of observations being 52. The findings are that there is no significant effect between liquidity, leverage, and capital intensity on tax aggressiveness. At a high level of liquidity, the company can pay off its short-term obligations, including in terms of taxation. The leverage of small or large companies does not affect management to do tax avoidance. Companies with high fixed assets bear an increased tax burden as well. Some companies have set assets whose economic benefits have expired but are not derecognized and for movable assets.

Abstract

Innovation and creativity in this digital era are needed in developing the business you want to do so that you don't get stuck in daily operational activities and pursue performance targets. Therefore, it takes a solid entrepreneurial spirit from within business actors to create innovation and creativity. In addition, the role of market orientation also plays a major role in providing broad market access so that the product innovations developed can reach end users. Thus, it is hoped that every business undertaken by business actors can survive and increase their competitive advantage. The urgency of this research is to examine the effect of entrepreneurship insight and market orientation on innovation and competitive advantage. On the other hand, This study also tries to confirm the mediating effect of innovation on the impact of entrepreneurship insight and market orientation on competitive advantage. This study uses a causal quantitative research design. The number of samples used in this study were 170 MSME business actors. The data analysis method used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The data analysis test tool uses statistical software Smartpls 3.0. This study concludes that the effect of entrepreneurship insight and market orientation on innovation is positive and significant. Likewise, the influence of entrepreneurship insight and innovation on competitive advantage obtained positive and significant results. On the other hand, the effect of market orientation on competitive advantage obtained positive but not significant results. This study also confirms that innovation can mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial insight and market orientation to competitive advantage.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of variable product quality, price and product design to purchase decisions made by the football team in Karang Sari Village. The total population of soccer players is 80 people and with the purposive sampling method it was found that there were 35 users of Adidas shoes. By using the validity and reliability test that the data under study the results are valid and reliability. Furthermore, the hypothesis results found that simultaneously product quality, price and product design have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, but for the partial test that prices have a negative and insignificant effect on purchasing decisions, for product quality and product design have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the factors that can affect firm value. These factors include liquidity, capital structure, profitability and company size. This research was conducted on companies that were consistently listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) for the 2016-2020 period using secondary data and an associative research approach. The population in this study were all companies listed on the JII index company. The sample obtained is 11 companies using purposive sampling using certain criteria and has 55 observations. The results showed that liquidity and profitability had a significant effect on firm value partially, while capital structure and firm size had no significant effect on firm value. However, simultaneously all variables have an effect on firm value.

Abstract

The manifestation of customer satisfaction can be seen from the pattern of consumer behavior on a product of goods and services. Many factors can influence consumer behavior, including product quality, price offered, promotion mechanism presented, ease of seeking purchase places, and many other factors that can influence it. This study aimed to examine the effect of brand image, facilities, and consumer trust on customer satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. This study used a quantitative method. The data were obtained from the distribution of questionnaires to 321 respondents who were the sample of the population studied. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis was multiple regression analysis which included the t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination test. The results of the study with the t-test model explained that: the brand image had an effect on customer satisfaction, facilities had an effect on customer satisfaction, consumer trust had an effect on customer satisfaction. Furthermore, the results of the simultaneous test (F-test) stated that brand image, facilities, and consumer trust had a significant effect on customer satisfaction. The coefficient of determination test explained that customer satisfaction n was influenced by brand image, facilities, and consumer trust by 71.6% and the remaining 28.4% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
