PKP Publishing Services provides hosting and support for Open Preprint Systems (OPS), a complete open source solution for managing preprint submissions and posting them online in a searchable archive, ranging from $1,500 – $3,900 USD per year. Our OPS Hosting Plans are customized to your needs.
All of our OPS hosting plans for your preprint server include the installation and hosting of OPS, daily backups, security patches, upgrades, and priority answering your questions via our email-based support.
You can choose to add the following services for an increased annual fee:
- Training
- Custom feature development
- Custom theme development
- Minor customizations
- Crossref membership and extended DOI support
- SSH and MySQL access
- Single sign-on
- Standalone server
Already Using OPS or another platform
If you already use OPS, we provide complete support for migrating your preprint server to our hosting platform. There is a flat fee of $500-$1,000 per installation, depending on the complexity of the migration.
If you use OSF Preprints, the Centre for Open Science’s preprint service, we can migrate your content to OPS with our custom import tool.
If you’re publishing on another software application or platform, our team may be able to migrate your posted preprints into OPS with an automated import tool. Structured metadata in a predefined CSV or XML format (i.e. title, abstract, authors, etc.) is required for all content.
