Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of open space tourism on regional development, both through visitor satisfaction, image or destination image, and visitor interest and loyalty (intention and loyalty). This research was conducted in several Panatapan spots as open-air tourist spaces in Simalungun Regency, with a total of 313 respondents. The data sources used are primary and secondary data obtained through questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis used in this study uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0 tools. The results of the study show the importance of developing open space in an effort to build a tourism image, tourist satisfaction, visitor interest and loyalty, in supporting regional development in Simalungun District.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship in the 21st century is characterized by a high volume of flexibility and knowledge. The two features have gained a great and renewed relevance as competitive advantages in a globalized economy. The classical industry structure has transitioned into a smaller focus and higher decentralization which is a major indicator of global development. Global competition has increased as technology changes due to the rise of economic liberalization. Today, there is a belief that fostering a nation's competitiveness translates into fostered entrepreneurship. The fourth industrial revolution has brought in technological innovation, therefore, spurring a transformation in production. There are two facets to this transformation. One, the need to integrate and upgrade systems, and two, the emergency of new systems based on artificial intelligence technology. The increased application of technology speeds up the restructuring and structural upgrading of the global industrial chain, therefore, enhancing the spirit of entrepreneurship. The purpose of this paper is to review the literature on the globalization substance, industrial revolution 4.0, and the role of the associated technological innovation for economic development towards entrepreneurship. First, the paper will present a theoretical background of these phenomena synthetically from globalization, industrial revolution phases, associated technological innovation and milestones in economic growth, and their role in enhancing entrepreneurship. The paper will highlight the role of technology-driven profile in the new global economy, spearheaded by innovative business strategies towards entrepreneurial initiatives.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of marketing mix, price and customer experience on customer satisfaction at Pasar Astana Anyar Bandung. The examination procedures used in this study are validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, determination analysis and f-test. The results of the review show that the promotion mix affects customer satisfaction at Pasar Astana Anyar Bandung. From the test results with the T test shows that the marketing mix has a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Prices affect customer satisfaction at Astana Anyar Market Bandung. From the test results with the T test shows that the price affects customer satisfaction. Customer experience influences customer satisfaction at Astana Anyar Market Bandung. From the test results with the T test shows that customer experience affects customer satisfaction. Judging from the f-test, it is found that F-count > F-table is 212,297 > 3.12, this shows that the marketing mix, price and customer experience basically affect customer satisfaction with a sig level. big. 0.000 < 0.050. is significant of costumer satisfaction

Abstract

The decision-making process is a crucial part of any business or organization, and the Decision Support System (DSS) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is a widely used tool for evaluating multiple options or alternatives. This study aimed to determine the best location for a new retail store using the DSS and SAW method. Four criteria were considered in the evaluation process: population density, proximity to competitors, average income, and rent cost. Data was collected and analyzed, and the weighted scores were calculated using the SAW method. The results of this study showed that Location A had the highest weighted score, and thus was determined to be the best option for the new retail store. This study provides a reliable method for evaluating multiple options and determining the best one. It also highlights the advantages of using the DSS and SAW method, such as the objective decision-making process based on data and criteria, and the high reliability of the results. Additionally, this study also points out the limitations of not using the DSS and SAW method, such as the subjective decision-making process based on personal bias and low reliability of the results. The DSS SAW method can be applied in various decision-making scenarios, and this study can serve as a guide for future research and decision-making processes.

Abstract

Saat ini, peran media sosial sangat penting bagi pemenuhan kebutuhan, keinginan, dan harapan manusia. Banyak orang yang sudah mengerti bagaimana cara mengaksesnya, termasuk masyarakat awam. Namun, masih banyak dari mereka yang belum mengetahui apa saja manfaat media sosial bagi individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai manfaat media sosial bagi individu. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi menyimak dan mencatat informasi penting untuk melakukan analisis data melalui reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat beberapa manfaat media sosial bagi individu diantaranya adalah memahami dimensi penggunaan pribadi, eksplorasi kreativitas, interaksi sosial, dan pemberdayaan positif. Dengan membaca artikel ini, diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi diri untuk lebih bijak dan kreatif dalam memanfaatkan media sosial.

Abstract

In recent years the study of women’s entrepreneurship has seen a growth, especially during the pandemic and its aftermath. According to the literature women can make a significant contribution to entrepreneurial activity. This research aims to provide evidence that government support factors can create women's entrepreneurship. Not only that, the author will also add literature on knowledge skills in fostering the entrepreneurial spirit for women. This research includes library research, because the research is conducted to search, analyze, make interpretations and generalizations from the facts of the results of thoughts and ideas written by entrepreneurship experts. This research is descriptive qualitative with a secondary data analysis approach. This study found that the government has a crucial role in creating women's entrepreneurship both before and after the pandemic. On the other hand, the knowledge skill aspect is a supporting factor for women's success in starting a career as an entrepreneur. This research is expected to enrich both formal and informal entrepreneurship literature.

Abstract

Penelitian studi literatur ini membahas tentang peran inovasi dalam meningkatkan daya saing ekonomi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi peran inovasi dalam meningkatkan daya saing ekonomi dari perspektif internasional hingga nasional, serta tantangan-tantangan yang terkait dengan penerapan inovasi dalam meningkatkan daya saing ekonomi. Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan mengumpulkan data dari sumber-sumber yang relevan di Indonesia maupun internasional. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, inovasi dapat memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan daya saing ekonomi. Berbagai studi menunjukkan bahwa inovasi dapat meningkatkan produktivitas, efisiensi, dan kualitas produk, serta membuka peluang baru untuk menciptakan pasar yang lebih luas dan mengurangi biaya produksi. Namun, implementasi inovasi juga dihadapkan pada berbagai tantangan, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya, kebijakan yang tidak mendukung, kurangnya investasi dalam riset dan pengembangan, serta kurangnya kesadaran akan pentingnya inovasi. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan daya saing ekonomi melalui inovasi, perlu adanya dukungan dari berbagai pihak, termasuk pemerintah, institusi pendidikan, sektor swasta, dan masyarakat umum. Pemerintah perlu menciptakan kebijakan yang mendukung pengembangan inovasi, meningkatkan akses terhadap sumber daya, serta meningkatkan dukungan untuk riset dan pengembangan. Institusi pendidikan perlu mempersiapkan tenaga kerja yang memiliki keterampilan dan pengetahuan untuk mengembangkan inovasi. Sektor swasta perlu berinvestasi dalam riset dan pengembangan serta memperhatikan inovasi sebagai strategi bisnis. Masyarakat umum perlu meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya inovasi dan berperan aktif dalam mendukung pengembangan inovasi.

Abstract

This research makes use of the Method for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution, also known as the TOPSIS approach, in order to discover the most suitable site for a company's warehouse. Following the establishment of the criteria for the selection of the warehouse location, weights were allotted to each of the criteria. The min-max method was utilized to do data normalization once it had been collected for each prospective location. After constructing the decision matrix with the weighted normalized values and determining the ideal and non-ideal solutions for each criterion, the results were then presented. Following the calculation of the Euclidean distance between each potential location and the ideal and non-ideal solutions, the TOPSIS formula was used to determine the relative proximity between each of the potential locations. The site of the potential location that was the highest relative closeness to the optimum solution was chosen to be the optimal location for the warehouse. By employing this strategy, the company will be able to make an educated decision regarding the location of their warehouse, which will, in the long run, result in improved operational efficiency and cost savings.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is becoming an increasingly popular topic these days. Many people are interested in becoming an entrepreneur and developing their own business. However, not everyone has the ability to become a successful entrepreneur. There are several factors that can influence business success, one of which is having an entrepreneurial mindset. The purpose of this paper is to explore the relationship between entrepreneurial mindset and business success and to discuss the implications for entrepreneurship education. This research is qualitative in nature. Data collection techniques include listening and recording important information to conduct data analysis through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. This study shows that there is a positive relationship between entrepreneurial mindset and business success. Entrepreneurial mindset consists of five main dimensions namely opportunity orientation, innovativeness, proactiveness, self-confidence and risk tolerance. Entrepreneurs who have a strong entrepreneurial mindset are more likely to achieve success in their business. The study also suggests that teaching entrepreneurship should focus on developing entrepreneurial mindset to prepare students to become successful entrepreneurs in the future.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat telah memudahkan manusia dalam melakukan aktivitas, baik itu dalam pekerjaan, interaksi sosial, hingga mengakses informasi. Namun, dampak teknologi digital tidak selalu positif bagi kesejahteraan manusia, terutama dalam konteks stres kerja pada karyawan. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi menyimak dan mencatat informasi penting untuk melakukan analisis data melalui reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dalam penelitian ini, akan dilakukan tinjauan psikologi bisnis mengenai dampak teknologi digital terhadap stres kerja pada karyawan, dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang masalah ini dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk mengurangi stres kerja pada karyawan. Hasil studi menunjukkan teknologi digital memainkan peran yang semakin penting dalam lingkungan kerja saat ini. Namun, penggunaan teknologi digital yang berlebihan dapat menyebabkan tingkat stres kerja yang lebih tinggi pada karyawan. Maka, penting bagi organisasi untuk mempertimbangkan strategi untuk mengatasi stres kerja yang disebabkan oleh teknologi digital seperti memberikan pelatihan kepada karyawan tentang cara menggunakan teknologi digital yang efektif dan efisien.
