Abstract

The digital age has brought significant changes in the way people access and process information. Social media and other online platforms have become a major source of information and public opinion. This study aims to review the literature on public opinion formation in the digital age. This study uses the literature review method to analyze literature relevant to the research topic. A literature review shows that the digital age has had a significant impact on the formation of public opinion. Social media and other online platforms have become the primary means for individuals to access information, share ideas, and exchange opinions. This has led to changes in the way public opinion is formed and disseminated. The formation of public opinion in the digital age is a complex and dynamic phenomenon. Social media and other online platforms have an important role to play in shaping public opinion. A better understanding of the process of forming public opinion in the digital age is needed to develop effective communication strategies and build a more democratic society.

Abstract

Building Information Modelling (BIM) has revolutionized the construction industry by presenting a new approach to project design and construction. BIM enables the integration of comprehensive project data, including 3D design, material information, and construction schedules, into a centralized digital model. This literature review aims to explore the integration of BIM in civil engineering projects, focusing on its benefits, challenges, and implementation. This study aims to examine the integration of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in civil engineering projects through a comprehensive literature review. BIM is a technology that enables the creation and management of digital representations of the physical and functional characteristics of a construction project. The results of this study conclude that BIM enables more accurate and efficient design by detecting potential clashes and design errors in the early stages of the project thus saving time and costs.

Abstract

Sexual violence against children is a serious problem that threatens the safety and well-being of the younger generation. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the integrated justice system as an effort to prevent sexual violence against children in Indonesia. The integrated justice system integrates various institutions, including the police, prosecutor's office, courts, and child protection services, to ensure comprehensive protection for children as potential victims. This study uses a case study approach with a focus on policy implementation at the national and regional levels, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of collaboration between institutions in preventing sexual violence against children. The results show that although the integrated justice system has been well designed, there are still challenges in coordination between institutions, policy understanding at the local level, and limited resources that affect the effectiveness of prevention. The recommendations of this study include strengthening the capacity of related institutions, increasing coordination between institutions, and wider socialization about the importance of protecting children from sexual violence. Thus, it is hoped that the implementation of an integrated justice system can be an effective solution in preventing sexual violence against children in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of human resource management (HR) training on increasing volunteer effectiveness and job satisfaction in social organizations. Social organizations often face challenges in maximizing volunteer contributions due to a lack of structured management and adequate training. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest experimental design in two groups, namely the experimental group that received training and the control group that did not receive training. The training provided includes time management, communication skills, conflict management, and teamwork development, which is designed to improve the competence of volunteers in supporting organizational goals. The study respondents consisted of 20 volunteers who were active in several social organizations, with data collected through work effectiveness and job satisfaction questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using independent statistical tests to identify significant differences between the two groups. The results showed that HR management training significantly increased volunteer work effectiveness by 30% and job satisfaction by 22% (p < 0.05). Volunteers who participated in the training reported improved ability to complete tasks, built positive interpersonal relationships, and felt more valued in the organization.

Abstract

In the post-truth era, where emotions and personal beliefs often override objective facts, the spread of fake news poses significant challenges to public communication. This study examines the role of public communication in identifying, addressing, and combating misinformation across digital platforms. Through a qualitative content analysis of government campaigns, media initiatives, and public responses, this research highlights the strategies employed to mitigate the impact of fake news on public opinion and democratic discourse. The findings indicate that transparency, media literacy, fact-checking mechanisms, and real-time engagement are critical components of effective public communication. Furthermore, the study underscores the need for cross-sector collaboration among governments, media organizations, and civil society to build public resilience against misinformation. This research contributes to the growing body of literature on digital communication and offers practical recommendations for policymakers and communication professionals navigating the complexities of the post-truth information landscape.
