Abstract

Pertanian perkotaan merupakan salah satu komponen kunci pembangunan sistem pangan masyarakat yang berkelanjutan dan jika dirancang secara tepat akan dapat mengentaskan permasalahan kerawanan pangan. Selain itu pertanian perkotaan juga mempunyai peluang dan prospek yang baik untuk pengembangan usaha berbasis agribisnis dan berwawasan lingkungan. Potensi pekarangan berlum dioptimalkan, sehingga perlu adanya suatu kegiatan sebagai suatu kegiatan produktif dan ekonomis. Dibutuhkan solusi pemecahan dengan mengarah pada pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui program yang terencana sebagai upaya untuk mampu berswadaya. Upaya mendukung kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan teknik budidaya hidroponik bagi warga di RT. 5 dan RT. 28 Kelurahan Pamusian, dalam memanfaatkan pekarangan dan meningkatkan aktivitas warga, Tahapan yang dilakukan dilakukan adalah Penyusunan Program, Persiapan Lapangan, Pelaksanaan Pelatihan, Pendampingan Lapangan, Penyusunan laporan lengkap. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah bertambahnya pengetahuan serta pengalaman masyakat dalam metode bercocok tanam menggunakan sistem hidroponik. Kegiatan ini telah terlaksana sesuai dengan yang diharapkan, yaitu tingginya partisipasi masyarakat dalam proses bercocok tanam dengan  hidroponik. Selain itu,muncul antusiasme masyarakat untuk mengikuti kegiatan ini setiap tahun. Selanjutnya untuk kebelanjutan program ini, diharapkan adanya pemantauan dan pembinaan, sehingga hasilnya lebih optimal dan masyarakat lebih termotivasi untuk melanjutkan dan mengambangkan program ini menggunakan tanaman lainnya yang lebih menghasilkan. Kegiatan ini sebaiknya terus dilanjutkan sampai muncul cikal bakal wirausaha keluarga.

Abstract

Penyakit busuk pangkal batang merupakan penyebab kerugian paling besar pada tanaman kelapa sawit dibandingkan dengan organisme penganggu tanaman (OPT) lainnya. Penyakit tersebut disebabkan oleh cendawan patogen Ganoderma boninense. Upaya pengendalian infeksi G. boninense menggunakan Agen Pengendali Hayati (APH) merupakan metode yang paling baik karena bersifat efektif, efisien, ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan. Agen Pengendali Hayati (APH) merupakan organisme yang dapat digunakan untuk keperluan pengendalian hama dan penyakit atau organisme pengganggu tumbuhan (OPT) dalam proses produksi dan pengolahan hasil pertanian. Cendawan tanah dan endofit diketahui memiliki kemampuan antagonis terhadap G. boninense, sehingga berpotensi dimanfaatkan sebagai APH untuk tanaman kelapa sawit. Isolat cendawan tanah dan endofit diisolasi dari sampel tanah dan akar tanaman kelapa sawit dengan metode spread plate pada media PDA (Potato Dextrose Agar). Isolat cendawan tersebut kemudian diuji keamanan hayati menggunakan benih mentimun dan padi, sehingga diperoleh 18 isolat bersifat nonpatogen yang tidak menimbulkan gejala kerusakan pada benih dan kecambah uji. Penelitian dilanjutkan dengan uji antagonis isolat cendawan terhadap G. boninense secara in vitro, dan diketahui 12 isolat cendawan mampu menghambat pertumbuhan G. boninense. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh enam isolat cendawan yang memiliki kemampuan daya hambat terhadap G. boninense di atas 50% yaitu CE-8: 53,5%; CR-16: 61,5%; CR-1:61,9%; CE-3: 64,0%; CR-10: 65,2%; dan CE-4: 85,1%. Enam isolat cendawan tersebut merupakan isolat yang berpotensi digunakan sebagai APH untuk tanaman kelapa sawit.

Abstract

The research was aimed to obtain the optimum concentration of BAP to buds growth as in vitro. It was conducted in the Tissue Culture Laboratory at Forestry and gardening seedling Unit of Forestry and Gardening Office of Banten Province from April until December 2008. The research used Randomized Completely Design on MS base medium with different BAP concentration: (1) B1 = MS + Kinetin 0.1 ppm + BAP 1 ppm, (2), B2 = MS + Kinetin 0,1 ppm + BAP 2 ppm, (3) B3 = MS + Kinetin 0,1 ppm + BAP 3 ppm, (4) B4 = MS + Kinetin 0,1 ppm + BAP 4 ppm, (5) B5 = MS + Kinetin 0,1 ppm + BAP 5 ppm. Each treatment was replicated ten times. The data was analyzed and continued with Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) 5 percent. The explant which grew in MS media with different BAP concentration showed radicle appearance. It tended to grow to be embryo, where it began with radicle length and was followed by bud formation. Higher BAP application for each treatment increased the germination. The best concentration of embryo germination which would be grown to be bud was 4 or 5 ppm BAP. Abstract

Spodoptera litura F. is one of the important pests in Horticulture commodities which can cause damage 80% and up to 100%. Karamunting (Melastome malabathricum) is a wild plant that grows in Tarakan City. This plant is known to contain secondary metabolites which are thought to have the potential to control pests. This study aims to determine the potential of Karamunting extract as a botanical insecticide material to control armyworms. This study uses a completely randomized design (CRD) method with 1 treatment factor, namely the concentration of Karamunting leaf extract. Potential extracts as botanical insecticides were tested by dye method using 4 concentrations, namely 0 (control); 500; 1000; 2000; 4000; and 8000 ppm. The results showed that Karamunting leaf extract was able to control armyworm pests. Giving extracts of 8000 ppm (P5) in feed caused the highest decrease in eating activity up to 41,2%, larval mortality up to 85%, and the highest mortality rate after 7 days of observation. Decreased feeding activity and larval mortality were thought to be influenced by the presence of phenol compounds, fatty acids, terpenoids, sterols and alkaloids identified in the extract. Thus, Karamunting leaf extract has the potential to be developed as an active ingredient in botanical insecticides to control armyworm.

Abstract

In the process of learning Social Sciences is very necessary for the right and optimal learning for students by teachers both intellectually and emotionally, so that ideal conditions are created in the learning process. But the learning process carried out by the teacher is very far from the ideal word, this is due to the weak learning process developed by the teacher. The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of students' Social Sciences by applying media images. This study uses classroom action research which consists of 4 stages, such as; planning, observation, implementation and reflection. As for the results of the study, judging from the initial completeness, as many as 13 students or 43.3% of students who completed the Minimum Completion Criteria, while the students who were not completed were 17 students or 56.6% with a class average of 63.4. In the first cycle, as many as 21 students or 70% had completed reaching the Minimum Completion Criteria, while students who had not yet completed reached the Minimum Completion Criteria as many as 9 students or 30% with a class average value of 73.2. For the second cycle, as many as 26 students or 86.6% had completed reaching the Minimum Completion Criteria and only 4 students or 13.3% had not yet completed reaching the Minimum Completion Criteria.

Abstract

Kendala dalam penanganan benih mentimun adalah adanya selaput daging berlendir (pulp), yang menyebabkan benih mudah terinfeksi penyakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstraksi benih mentimun dengan Sodium hipoklorit (NaOCl) dan teknik pengeringan berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif benih mentimun. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen, menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) faktorial, yang terdiri dari dari 8 kombinasi perlakuan dengan 3 ulangan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan two way anova, dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa perlakuan ekstraksi benih dengan NaOCl dan teknik pengeringan berbeda pada benih mentimun, tidak menunjukkan hasil yang berbeda nyata pada semua parameter, kecuali pada parameter jumlah daun pada tanaman yang berumur 21 dan 28 hari setelah tanam (HST), NaOCl secara umum menekan pertumbuhan vegetatif seperti tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan luas daun. Namun pada parameter panjang akar, berat basah dan berat kering tanaman kombinasi perlakuan NaOCl 15% dan pengeringan dengan oven (K3D1) konsisten menunjukkan nilai tertinggi dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya. Perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mengetahui nilai vigor dan viabilitas benih, serta hasil tanaman yang diperoleh.

Abstract

Ketepeng (Cassia alata L.) was a group of plants included in the Magnoliophyta division which can be found in tropical or subtropical areas. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential of Ketepeng leaves to inhibit the growth of R. solanacearum and S. sobrinus bacteria. The method used in this study is agar well diffusion with 3 replications. The sample used was Ketepeng leaf extract with several concentrations of 0.5%, 1%, 2%. Positive controls in this study were Chloramphenicol and negative control of 40% ethanol. The variables calculated are the calculation of water content, percentage of yield and percentage of area diameter barriers (DDH). In addition, the DDH results show the ethanol extract of Ketepeng leaves at concentrations of 0.5% and 1% not able to inhibit the growth of R. solanacearum, but at a concentration of 2% able to inhibit R.solanacearum with a diameter of 11,7 mm and the ethanol extract of Ketepeng leaves at concentrations was able to inhibit the growth of S. sobrinus bacteria with the highest diameter of 16 mm at a concentration of 2%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyse and describe the implementation of Permendikbud number 20 year 2018 about strengthening character education of a Formal education unit SMAN 1 Tumijajar Tulang Bawang Barat academic year 2018/2019. At model Evaluation of Program with CIPP theory (Context, Input, Process and Product). The method used in this research was qualitative descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used interviews, observations and documentation while in analyzing data used credibility testing with extra time and triangulation. The results showed that the implementation process of character education strengthening program in Permendikbud number 20 year 2018 used the evaluation model of the program with CIPP theory. As seen from the context dimension the PPK programs was supported by the environment reviewed from the CCTV security, student attendance card and the comfort. As seen From the Input dimension there are several programs in order to fulfill the needs of PPK program supported by the availability of existing facilities and infrastructure in the school and human resources. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan Implementasi Permendikbud Nomor 20 Tahun 2018 tentang penguatan pendidikan karakter. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi sedangkan analisis data menggunakan uji kredibilitas dengan perpanjangan waktu dan triangulasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses implementasi program penguatan pendidikan karakter dalam Permendikbud Nomor 20 Tahun 2018 dilihat dengan menggunakan model evaluasi program dengan teori CIPP. Dari dimensi context program-program PPK disekolah didukung oleh lingkungan yang ditinjau dari keamanan CCTV, kartu kehadiran siswa dan kenyaman. Dari dimensi Input terdapat beberapa program dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhan dalam program PPK yang didukung oleh ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana yang ada disekolah dan sumber daya manusia. Kata kunci: permendikbud, implementasi, pendidikan karakter
