Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak tempe terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus aureus. Hasil penelitian ini bermanfaat untuk pengembanga tempe sebagai makanan fungsional. Tempe yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tempe komersial yang diperoleh dari pasar tradisional Darussalam, Banda Aceh. Proses ekstraksi tempe dilakukan menggunakan pelarut etil asetat dengan tingkat konsentrasi yang berbeda yaitu 25%, 50% dan 75%. Pengujian aktivitas antibakteri dilakukan dengan metode difusi menggunakan kertas cakram pada media Mueller Hinton Agar (MHA), dan inkubasi dilakukan pada suhu 36-37˚C selama 24 jam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ektrak etil asetat tempe dengan konsentrasi 25%, 50% dan 75% memiliki daya hambat sebesar 6,6 mm, 6,7 mm dan 7,5 mm, sedangkan daya hambat kontrol positif menggunakan amoksisilin 31,6 mm. Aktivitas antibakteri yang dihasilkan ekstrak tempe termasuk dalam kategori sedang.(The aim of this research is to observe the antibacterial activity of tempe extract againts Staphlococcus aureus. The result of this research broadens the current knoledge of tempe as functional food. Samples of commercial tempe were obtained from a traditional market of Darussalam, Banda Aceh.Tempe samples were then extracted using ethyl acetate, each at three levels of concentration 25%, 50% and 75%. The antibacterial activity test of  tempe extracts was carried out using disc diffusion method on Mueller Hinton Agar (MHA), and incubation was conducted at 36-37˚C for 24 hours. The result showed that etil asetate extract of tempe withc concentration of 25%, 50% and 75% had inhibition zone of 6,6 mm 6,7 mm and 7,5 mm, meanwhile the used of amoxicilin (as a positive control) could inhibit Staphylococcus aureus growth with inhibition diameter was 31,6 mm. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menilai pengetahuan dan sikap pemilik rumah makan terhadap kehalalan olahan pangan asal hewan di Kota Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari 2017 di beberapa rumah makan di Banda Aceh. Penelitian dilakukan dalam bentuk survei lapangan dengan mewawancarai responden menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur. Responden dipilih secara proporsional terhadap pemilik rumah makan di Banda Aceh.  Kriteria responden adalah beragama Islam, berumur ≥20 tahun, pemilik rumah makan di lokasi penelitian, rumah makan menjual olahan daging ayam, dan rumah makan dengan kebutuhan daging ayam 20 ekor/hari. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan dilanjutkan dengan uji korelasi. Hasil penelitian terhadap 45 responden menunjukkan bahwa persentase terbesar pengetahuan pemilik rumah makan terhadap kehalalan olahan pangan asal hewan di Kota Banda Aceh adalah sebesar 82,2%, yang memiliki kategori baik, sedangkan persentase terbesar dari sikap pemilik rumah makan terhadap kehalalan olahan pangan asal hewan di Kota Banda Aceh adalah sebesar 44,4%, yang memiliki kategori kurang. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,43 yang dapat dikategorikan memiliki hubungan sedang. The aim of this study was to assess the knowledge and the attitude of restaurant owners to halal food processed of animal’s origin in Banda Aceh. This study was conducted on January 2017 in several restaurants in Banda Aceh by interviewing respondents using a structured questionnaire. The Respondents were selected proportionally. The Criteria of respondents were Moeslim, aged ≥ 20 years, restaurant owners which were in the study site, and a restaurant processed chicken meat and meal demand 20 carcass /day. The data were analyzed descriptively by using correlation test. As much as 45 respondents had been interviewed. The results showed that the largest percentage of  knowledge of restaurant owners on the halal processed was 82,2%. The percentage of restaurant owner attitudes towards halal processed was less of 44.4%. So that, correlation value categorized as medium (0,43).Keyword : knowledge, attitude, restaurants owners, halal, animal food's origin

Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui tingkat konsentrasi timbal   (Pb)  yang berpengaruh terhadap laju pertumbuhan ikan nila (Oreochromis nilloticus). Penelitian ini menggunakan ikan nila sebanyak 40 ekor dengan kriteria: sehat; bobot badan 15 – 18 gram; umur ± 2 bulan; jenis kelamin jantan. Penelitian ini menggunakan 4 kelompok perlakuan, P0 sebagai kontrol ikan hanya diberi pakan pelet, P1 diberikan paparan timbal  6,26 mg/L  dan pakan pelet, P2 diberikan paparan timbal 12,53 mg/L  dan pakan pelet dan P3 diberikan paparan timbal 25,06 mg/L  dan pakan pelet,  masing-masing perlakuan terdiri dari 10 ekor ikan nila. Perlakuan dilakukan selama 30 hari dan Pengukuran pertumbuhan ikan dilakukan setiap 10 hari sekali dengan cara menimbang bobot dan mengukur panjang tubuh setiap individu ikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata panjang tubuh ikan nila P0 (9,45±1,06), P1 (8,89±0,90), P2 (8,86±0,87), dan P3 (8,66±0,85). Rata-rata berat ikan nila P0 (23,38±4,50), P1 (19,75±2,27), P2 (19,15±2,10), dan P3 (18,65±2,00). Laju pertumbuhan spesifik P0 (38,7%), P1 (8,3%), P2 (4,3%), dan P3 (3,3%). Laju pertumbuhan panjang harian individu ikan P0 (0,46 mm/d), P1 (0,27 mm/d), P2 (0,21 mm/d), dan P3 (0,19 mm/d). Kesimpulan dari penelitian bahwa konsentrasi timbal  dan lamanya paparan berpengaruh terhadap laju pertumbuhan ikan.  Konsentrasi timbal  yang sangat berpengaruh adalah 25,06 mg/L. ABSTRACTThe aims of this research was to find out to determine the level of Lead (Pb) concentration that affect the rate of growth tilapia (Oreochromis nilloticus). This study used 40 tilapia with criteria: healthy; body weight 15-18 gram; age ± 2 month; male sex. This study used 4 treatment groups, P0 as control, fish fed only pellets, P1 was given lead exposure 6,26 mg/L and pellet, P2 was given lead exposure 12,53 mg/L and pellet and P3 was given lead exposure 25,06 mg/L and pellet. Each treatment consisted of 10 tilapia fish. Treatment carried out for 30 days and measure every 10 days. The results showed the average length of tilapia fish P0 (9,45±1,06b); P1 (8,89±0,90a); P2 (8,86±0,87a) and P3 (8,66±0,85). Average weight of tilapia fish P0 (23,38±4,50); P1 (19,75±2,27); P2 (19,15±2,10) and P3 (18,65±2,00). Spesific growth rate P0 (38,7%); P1 (8,3%); P2 (4,3%) and P3 (3,3%). The rate of long-term growth of individual fish P0 (0,46 mm/d); P1 (0,27 mm/d); P2 (0,21 mm/d) and P3 (0,19 mm/d). In conclusion, it showed that the concentration of lead (Pb) and the duration of exposure has affect the growth rate of fish. The influential concentration of lead is 25,06 mg/L.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak semangka merah dalam meminimalkan kerusakan spermatozoa mencit setelah dipapar asap rokok dengan dosis yang tepat. Penelitian ini mengikuti rancangan acak lengkap pola searah menggunakan 12 ekor mencit jantan (Mus muscullus) yang terbagi menjadi 4 kelompok. Kelompok perlakuan dibagi atas kelompok kontrol negatif diberi aquadest 0,5 ml, kelompok kontrol positif diberi paparan asap rokok dan aquadest 0,5 ml, kelompok perlakuan I diberi paparan asap rokok dan diberi ekstrak semangka merah dosis 22 mg/mencit dan kelompok perlakuan II diberi paparan asap rokok dan diberi ekstrak semangka merah dosis 44 mg/mencit. Pemaparan asap rokok dan pemberian ekstrak semangka merah dilakukan selama 30 hari. Parameter yang diamati adalah konsentrasi, morfologi abnormal, dan motilitas spermatozoa. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis varian. Hasil Rata-rata (+SD) konsentrasi spermatozoa kelompok KN adalah 3,3 ± 1,6 × 106 mm3;  kelompok KP adalah 2,6 ± 0,5 × 106 mm3;  kelompok K1 adalah 2,0 ± 1,0 × 106 mm3; dan kelompok K2 adalah 3,1 ± 1,4 × 106 mm3, rata-rata (+SD) motilitas spermatozoa kelompok KN adalah 73,33 ± 5,77 %; kelompok KP adalah 40,00 ± 36,06 %; kelompok K1 adalah 21,67 ± 10,41 %; dan K2 adalah 53,33 ± 15,28 %, dan rata-rata (±SD) morfologi spermatozoa kelompok KN adalah 0,67 ± 1,15 %; kelompok KP adalah 6,00 ± 1,73 %; kelompok K1 adalah 2,33 ± 0,58 %; dan  kelompok K2 adalah 3,33 ± 0.58 %. Disimpulkan bahwa paparan asap rokok pemberian ekstrak semangka merah (Citrulus vulgaris) terhadap mencit (Mus musculus) yang dipapar asap rokok tidak berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan konsentrasi dan motilitas spermatozoa mencit (p0,05), namun berpengaruh terhadap menurunkan jumlah morfologi abnormalitas spermatozoa sangat signifikan (p0,01), sehingga didapat dosis optimum ekstrak semangka merah 44 mg/ekor mencit. Kata Kunci: Semangka merah, asap rokok, motilitas , konsentrasi, morfologi abnormal,spermatozoa. ABSTRACTThe aim of this research was to investigate the effect of watermelon (Citrullus vulgaris) extractioncan to minimize affect smoke in mice (Mus muscullus) spermatozoa with the optimum dose. This study followed direct complete randomized design by using 12 males mice which divided into 4 groups. The treatment group is divided to negative control group which given 0,5 ml of aquadest, the positive control group which exposed to cigarette smoke and 0,5 ml of aquadest. The treatment group I was exposed to cigarette smoke and given with watermelon extraction dose 22 mg/kg bw mice. The treatment group II was exposed to cigarette smoke and given with watermelon extraction dose 44 mg/kg bw mice. Exposure to cigarette smoke and red watermelon extract were conducted for 30 days. Parameters in observing is concentration, abnormal morofologi, and motility in mice. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance with SPSS for Windows 16.0. It The results of Mean (± SD) concentration of spermatozoa KN group was 3.3 ± 1.6 × 106 mm 3; KP group was 2.6 ± 0.5 × 106 mm 3; K1 group was 2.0 ± 1.0 × 106 mm 3; and K2 group was 3.1 ± 1.4 × 106 mm3, the mean (± SD) motility KN group was 73.33 ± 5.77%; KP group was 40.00 ± 36.06%; K1 group was 21.67 ± 10.41%; and K2 is 53.33 ± 15.28%, and the average (± SD) morphology of spermatozoa KN group was 0.67 ± 1.15%; KP group was 6.00 ± 1.73%; K1 group was 2:33 ± 12:58%; and K2 group is 3.33 ± 12:58%. It can be concluded, that the exposure of cigarette smoke with crude extract (rough extract) to the mice exposed to cigarette smoke was not moderate to the increase of mice spermatozoa concentration and motility (p 0.05), but to decrease the morphology of spermatozoa abnormalities significantly (P 0.01), in order to get the optimum dose of red watermelon extract 44m /mice. Keywords: red watermelon, cigarette smoke, motilty, consentration, abnormal morpholgy, sperm

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui deksametason yang diberikan per oral dengan dosis berbeda pada mencit (Mus muscullus) mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kadar glukosa darah. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL), yang terdiri atas empat kelompok perlakuan. Kelompok I (K1) diberi akuades (kontrol negatif), kelompok II (P1) diberi deksametason dosis 0,014 mg/20 g BB, kelompok III (P2) diberi deksametason dosis 0,042 mg/20 g BB, kelompok IV (P3) diberi deksametason dosis 0,070 mg/20 g BB, diberi perlakuan selama 5 hari. Hasil penelitian menggunakan analisis varian searah (One Way Anava) pada masing-masing kelompok perlakuan K1,P1,P2,P3 menunjukkan adanya perbedaan bermakna (p0,05). Berdasarkan hasil uji lanjut Duncan kelompok K1,P1,P2 tidak menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang bermakna  (p0,05). Sedangkan pada hasil uji lanjut pos hoc multiple comparison LSD dan Bunferroni kelompok K1 dan P1 menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang bermakna dengan kelompok P3 (p0,05), serta kelompok P3 menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang bermakna  dengan kelompok P1 dan K1 (p0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian deksametason dosis 0,07 mg/ 20 g BB per oral pada mencit selama 5 hari perlakuan dapat meningkatkan kadar glukosa darah mencit.Kata kunci :  Deksametason, kadar glukosa darah, hati dan pankreas. ABSTRACTThe aims of this research was to find out the dexamethasone given orally with different dose has an effect on blood glucose level in mice (Mus muscullus). The research used a complete randomized design (RAL), which consist of four treatment groups. Group I (K1) was given aquadest (negative control), group II (P1) dexamethasone dosage given was 0,014 mg / 20 g BB, group III (P2) dexamethasone dosage given was 0,042 mg / 20 g BB, group IV (P3) dexamethasone dosage given was 0,070 mg / 20 g BB, during 5 days. The results of the analysis using variant (One Way Anova) showed that the each treatment group K1, P1, P2, P3 show the significant distinction (p 0,05). Based on the results of Duncan test between groups K1, P1, P2 didn’t show the significant distinction (p0.05). While on the result post hoc multiple comparison LSD and Bunferroni test group K1 and P1 with group P3 show the significant distinction (p0,05) and group P3 with group P1 and K1 show the significant distinction (p0,05). Based on the results of this research concluded that the doses of dexamethason given orally 0,07 mg/ 20 g BB during 5 days treatment could be increase blood glucose levels in mice.Keywords :  Dexamethasone, blood glucose levels, liver and pancreas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penambahan ekstrak kulit buah naga merah (Hylocereus polyrhizus) dalam pengencer sitrat kuning telur terhadap motilitas dan viabilitas spermatozoa sapi aceh setelah pembekuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan semen segar sapi aceh yang dikoleksi menggunakan vagina buatan dan dibagi ke dalam 5 kelompok perlakuan pengencer dengan 5 kali ulangan. Kelompok perlakuan kontrol yaitu semen diencerkan dalam pengencer sitrat kuning telur tanpa penambahan ekstrak kulit buah naga merah (P0), kelompok perlakuan semen diencerkan dalam pengencer sitrat kuning telur ditambah ekstrak kulit buah naga merah 0,2% (P1), 0,4% (P2), 0,6% (P3) dan 0,8% (P4). Data dianalisis menggunakan uji analysis of variance (ANOVA) satu arah dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan ekstrak kulit buah naga merah konsentrasi 0,0; 0,2; 0,4; 0,6 dan 0,8% dalam pengencer sitrat kuning telur menghasilkan persentase motilitas adalah 23,60 ± 4,72; 26,60 ± 5,94; 36,40 ± 4,98; 45,40 ± 4,56 dan 33,40 ± 10,13.  Persentase viabilitas spermatozoa adalah 29,10 ± 5,82; 35,34 ± 5,85; 42,52 ± 4,87; 51,76 ± 7,13 dan 48,6 ± 6,05. Penambahan ekstrak kulit buah naga merah konsentrasi 0,6% menghasilkan persentase motilitas dan viabilitas spermatozoa yang lebih baik dibandingkan konsentrasi perlakuan lainnya. Simpulan penambahan ekstrak kulit buah naga merah dalam pengencer sitrat kuning telur dapat meningkatkan persentase motilitas dan viabilitas spermatozoa sapi aceh setelah pembekuan.(This study aims to determine the effect of addition peels red dragon fruit extract (Hylocereus polyrhizus) in the yolk citrate diluent to the motility and viability of the aceh cattle spermatozoa after freezing. This study used fresh semen of aceh cattle collected using artificial vagina and divided into 5 groups of diluent treatments with 5 replications. The control group of cement was diluted in the yolk citrate dilator without the addition of red dragon fruit skin extract (P0), semen treatment group was diluted in the yolk citrate diluent plus  peels red dragon fruit extract 0.2% (P1), 0.4% (P2), 0.6% (P3) and 0.8% (P4). Data were analyzed by using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued by Duncan test. The results showed that the addition of peels red dragon fruit extract 0.0; 0.2; 0.4; 0.6 and 0.8%  of yolk citrate diluent yields motility percentage is 23.60 ± 4.72; 26.60 ± 5.94; 36.40 ± 4.98; 45.40 ± 4.56 and 33.40 ± 10.13. Percentage of spermatozoa viability were 29.10 ± 5.82; 35.34 ± 5.85; 42.52 ± 4.87; 51.76 ± 7.13 and 48.6 ± 6.05.The addition of peels red dragon fruit extract 0.6% yields better percentage of motility and spermatozoa viability than other treatment doses. The conclusion of addition peels red dragon fruit extract in yolk citrate diluent can increase the percentage motility and viability spermatozoa of aceh cattle after freezing)

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan 12 ekor ikan nila dengan kriteria sehat, bobot badan 15 – 18 gram, umur ± 2 bulan, jenis kelamin jantan. Penelitian ini menggunakan 4 kelompok perlakuan, P0 sebagai kontrol ikan hanya diberi pakan pelet, P1 diberikan paparan timbal  6,26 mg/L  dan pakan pelet, P2 diberikan paparan timbal 12,53 mg/L  dan pakan pelet dan P3 diberikan paparan timbal 25,06 mg/L  dan pakan pelet,  masing-masing perlakuan terdiri dari 3 ekor ikan nila. Perlakuan dilakukan selama 30 hari dan Penghitungan profil darah ikan dilakukan pada hari ke 31. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) pola searah. Pengambilan darah melalui vena caudalis dengan spuit 1 ml  sebanyak 0,5 ml, kemudian sampel darah ditempatkan pada tabung tube yang berisi EDTA. Darah diperiksa menggunakan hematology analyzer. Parameter yang diamati adalah jumlah leukosit total, jumlah eritrosit, kadar hemoglobin dan nilai hematokrit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata jumlah leukosit total P0 (148,20±64,54), P1 (139,03±44,81), P2 (101,67±4,46), dan P3 (111,90±0,85). Rata-rata jumlah eritrosit P0 (1,53±0,80), P1 (1,81±0,48), P2 (1,19±0,10), dan P3 (1,39±0,41). Rata-rata kadar hemoglobin P0 (6,13±3,10), P1 (8,53±1,46), P2 (5,00±0,36), dan P3 (5,93±2,02). Rata-rata nilai hematokrit P0 (23,90±15,37), P1 (24,47±14,38), P2 (21,60±2,94), dan P3 (23,70±9,49). Kesimpulan dari penelitian bahwa konsentrasi timbal 0 mg/L; 6,26 mg/L; 12,53 mg/L dan 25,06 mg/L yang dipaparkan selama 30 hari tidak mempengaruhi profil darah ikan nila.The aims of this research was to find out to determine the level of Lead (Pb) concentration that affect the blood profile of tilapia (Oreochromis nilloticus). This study used 12 tilapia with criteria healthy; body weight 15 – 18 gram; age ± 2 month; male. This study used 4 treatment groups, P0 as control, fish fed only pellets, P1 was given lead exposure 6,26 mg/L and pellet, P2 was given lead exposure 12,53 mg/L and pellet  and P3 was given lead exposure 25,06 mg/L and pellet. Each treatment consists of 3 tilapia. Treatment was done for 30 days and counted blood fish profile done on day 31. The design used was a complete randomized design (RAL) of unidirectional pattern. Blood taking through vena caudalis with 1 ml sryringe as much as 0,5 ml, then the blood sample is placed on a tube containing EDTA. Blood is examined using a hematology analyzer. Parameter observed were total leukocyte count, total erythrocytet, hemoglobin levels and hematocrit value. The results showed the average of total leukocyte count P0 (148,20±64,54), P1 (139,03±44,81), P2 (101,67±4,46), and P3 (111,90±0,85). Average of total erythrocytet P0 (1,53±0,80), P1 (1,81±0,48), P2 (1,19±0,10), and P3 (1,39±0,41). Average of hemoglobin levels P0 (6,13±3,10), P1 (8,53±1,46), P2 (5,00±0,36), and P3 (5,93±2,02). Average of hematocrit value P0 (23,90±15,37), P1 (24,47±14,38), P2 (21,60±2,94), and P3 (23,70±9,49).  The conclusion of research  showed that the concentration of lead 0 mg/L; 6,26 mg/L; 12,53 mg/L and 25,06 mg/L exposed  for 30 days  do not effect the blood profile of the tilapia.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the potency of methanolic extract of sernai stem (Wedelia bilflora) as analgesic to mice (Mus muculus) compared to ibuprofen. This research use split-plot method with 5 treatments and 5 replications. Group P0 as negative control was given aquadest, P1 as positive control was given ibuprofen, while P2, P3, and P4 were given the extract with dosage of 40, 50, and 60 mg/kg bw, respectively. The pain analysis of mice was conducted using hotplate method and the observation was carried out at 0 minute, 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes, and 120 minutes. The data was analyzed using analysis of varians (Anova) followed by Duncan’s test. The results of this research showed  that P1, P2, P3 and P4 had significant difference (P0,05) from P0. P1 did not have significant  difference (P0,05) from P2 but it was different from P3 and P4 (P0,05). From this result we can conclude that methanolic extract of sernai stem was potential as analgesic, dosage of 40 mg/kg bw was equal to ibuprofen, while 50 mg/kg bw and 60 mg/kg bw showed better effect than ibuprofen.

Abstract

This research aim to study the effect of curry leavesaddition in extracts form with different concentration and storage time to the total microbes on fresh beef. This study use beef sample obtained from Lambaro Market Aceh Besar. The sample was divided into 36 sections, each wieght 25 grams and curry leaf extracts add with 0%, 25% and 50%concentrations, and were stored at 4-10oC. Microbiological examination of beef using pour plate method. Observations were made every 3 days in day 0, 3, 6 and 9. Measured parameters is total bacteria (CFU / gr). Data processing is using analysis of variance and the significantly different results tested with Duncan Test. Observation total of microbes on day 0 the concentration of 0% (without the addition of curry leaf extract), 25% and 50% was 2.7 x 102 CFU / gr, 2.2 x102 CFU / gr and 6.8 x101. It still can be consumed because it is still below the safety zone1x104 CFU / gr accordance with SNI 01-6366-2000 (SNI 2008). Meanwhile the observations at 0% concentration after 3 days already exceeded the standard of SNI 4.2 x106 cfu / gr. Meat with 50% curry leaf extract addition is still safe to eat up to day 9. Interaction effect between the concentration and the curry leaf extract addition and storage timeto the total microbe is not significantly different (P 0.01). Curry leaf extract addition and storage time factors is very significant (P 0.01) to the total microbes. These results indicated that curry leaf effective  into a preservative against fresh meat.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of fermented Moringa aloifera Lamk Leaf Flour (FMLF) on the amount of abdominal fat content in broiler chickens (Gallus sp). Twenty eight broiler chickens were randomly design into 4 treatment groups with 7 replications each. The (P0) as control group was given 100% commercial ransom, (P1) was given 95% commercial ransom and 5% FMLF, (P2) was given 92.5% and 7.5% FMLF, and (P3) was given 90% commercial ransom and 10% FMLF. The ransom was given for 23 days. The results showed that the abdominal fat contant of broiler chicken in P1 was significantly higher (P0,05) than that of P0, P2 and P3 There was no decrease in fat abdominal contant of broiler chicken in P1, P2 and P3 compared to that in P0 control. In conclusion, subtitusion of commercial ransom with FMLF up to 10% did not result in a decrease of abdominal fat content of broiler chickens.
