Abstract

The two main functions of banking are fundraising and channeling funds. The distribution of funds in conventional banks and those in Islamic banks has essential differences, both in terms of the name of the contract and the transaction. In conventional banking, this distribution of funds is known as credit, while in Islamic banking it is financing. In contrast to the definition of credit, which requires the debtor to return the loan by giving interest to the bank, financing based on the sharia principle of loan repayment with profit sharing is based on an agreement between the bank and the debtor. For example, financing under the buying and selling principle is intended to purchase goods, while those using the lease principle are intended to obtain services. The profit sharing principle is used for cooperative efforts aimed at obtaining goods and services at once. Financing is a very important activity because financing will provide the main source of income and support the continuity of the bank's business. Conversely, if the management is not good, it will cause problems and stop the bank's business.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan latar belakang permasalahan yakni  adanya ketidakpuasan mahasiswa di jurusan Pendidikan ekonomi, sehingga perlu diadakan penelitian mengenai kepuasan mahasiswa dan juga komponen-komponen yang mempengaruhinya. Salah satu metode yang biasanya digunakan dalam analisis kepuasan konsumen adalah SERVQUAL (Service Quality) yang  melihat kepuasan konsumen dari lima dimensi utama yakni Responsiveness, Assurance, Tangible, Empathy, dan Reliability. Metode ini biasanya digunakan juga untuk melihat bagaimana pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan.  Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Survei Eksplanatori, dengan objek penelitian yakni mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Siliwangi. Sampel diambil sebanyak 300 orang secara proporsional dari mahasiswa angkatan 2015, 2016, 2017.

Abstract

Formworks in the reinforced concrete building work usually use wood as the material. The wood made as board or beam with specified dimension. The aim of the research is to calculate the volume of wood using as formwork in the building-work. The volume of wood as formwork calculate by assume the using of formwork are as well as the concrete made. Therefore, the repetition of using formwork ignored.The result shown the coefficients of formwork volume are different significantly from the coefficient supplied in the unit-work analysis. The difference will take effect to the whole cost of the building work, consequently will lead to the offer-cost estimate of the executants (i.e. building contractor).Keywords: formwork, unit-work analysis, reinforced concrete

Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential of construction excavated material  used as  material of construction materials derived from Muaro Jambi. The study focused on the aggregates for concrete.The study was preceded by surveys of the location of the material and then sorted based on the location of geological and productivity quarry producer. Furthermore, research conducted at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Batanghari to get the physical characteristics of materials in order to obtain results and comparison with the applicable specifications for the concrete material.Results are expected to help the mapping of potential construction materials excavated material C in some areas in Jambi Muaro analysis and recommendations based on the use of laboratory test resultsKey words:   pasir, kerikil, gradasi

Abstract

Red bricks used as building walls/ Masonry in the city of Jambi in general has not been in accordance with the standards set.Research on the physical characteristics and suitability of the volume of work the Unit Price Analysis Work (AHSP 2013) has been done to the red brick produced in the village Pijoan and the village Setiti.Laboratory examination showed the red brick from the village Pijoan and village Setiti not meet the requirements in terms of compressive strength and dimensional standards used in AHSP 2013. The Large enough absorption of water implied that before using the red bricks must be soaked first so that the existing water in mortar is not reduced because of the red brick absorbed. Abstract

Research on the effect of concentration and frequency of foliar fertilizer application on growth of vanilla (Vanilla planifolia Andrews) was carried out at the experimental garden of The Indonesian spice and medicinal crops Research Institute, West Java, from May until October, 1996. The experiment was conducted with a randomized block design, with 3 replicates and 10 treatments. The treatments were control, 1,5 g foliar fertilizer/4 liter/twice a week, 1,5 g foliar fertilizer/4 liter/once a week, 1,5 g foliar fertilizer/4 liter/once in two weeks, 3 g foliar fertilizer/4 liter/twice a week 3 g foliar fertilizer/4 liter/once a week, 3 g foliar fertilizer/4 liter/ once in two weeks 4,5 g foliar fertilizer/4 liter/twice a week 4,5 g foliar fertilizer/4 liter/once a week, and 4,5 g foliar fertilizer/4 liter/once in two weeks. The foliar fertilizer used was NPK (30-10-10) plus trace elements, such as Fe, Co, B, Mo, Mg and vitamine B1. The result showed that application of 1,5 g foliar fertilizer/4 liter/twice a week and 4,5 g foliar fertilizer/4 liter/once in two weeks were the best for the growth of vanilla at nursery. However, application of 4,5 g foliar fertilizer/4 liter/once in two weeks is efisien.

Abstract

Aggregate quality is very influential on the strength of the resulting concrete. Both coarse and fine aggregates have various characteristics identified from laboratory test results. This study aims to examine the use of various aggregates for a quality of concrete. The coarse aggregate and the fine aggregate used are obtained from the nearest location to the work to be performed. The quality of the concrete reviewed is K-125, K-175 and K-225. The coarse aggregates used are 1-2 size (in cm), 2-3 size (in cm) crushed aggregate and coral. The fine aggregates used for each of the coarse aggregates are also different. The results showed that the coral aggregate did not meet the gradations of concrete aggregate. While the fine aggregate does not meet the gradation of concrete aggregate for the three types used. The concrete compressive strength test results show the use of coarse aggregates of 2-3 size of crushed and coarse aggregate of corals giving the average compressive strength value required for all planned concrete strength. While concrete using coarse aggregates of rocks of size 1-2 only meet the specified compressive strength, but does not meet the required compressive strength.Key words: Aggregates, concrete, compressive strength

Abstract

Pondasi tiang pancang merupakan salah satu jenis dari pondasi dalam yang umum digunakan, yang berfungsi untuk menyalurkan beban struktur kelapisan tanah keras yang mempunyai kapasitas daya dukung tinggi yang letaknya cukup dalam didalam tanah. Daya dukung pondasi tiang pancang dipengaruhi oleh daya dukung ujung tiang dan daya dukung selimut tiang. Studi analisa daya dukung tanah untuk pondasi tiang pancang dilaksanakan pada proyek pembangunan komplek pendidikan Islam Al Azhar 57 Jambi di kawasan kota baru terpadu Citra Raya City, Mendalo Darat, Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, Provinsi Jambi. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah menghitung daya dukung pondasi tiang pancang tunggal dan penurunannya. Metode-metode yang digunakan  dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Aoki dan De Alencar dan metode Langsung berdasarkan data hasil uji sondir atau Cone Penetration Test (CPT), metode Meyerhoff berdasarkan data hasil Standar Penetration Test (SPT) dan metode Alpha (α), metode Lambda (λ) dan metode Beta (β) berdasarkan data hasil uji laboratorium. Perhitungan daya dukung pondasi tiang pancang dari masing-masing metode dibandingkan. Hasil analisis perhitungan daya dukung pondasi tiang pancang pada enam titik sondir yang ditinjau di kedalaman 10 meter menunjukkan bahwa daya dukung tiang tunggal yang terendah pada titik S 06 berdasarkan metode Aoki dan De Alencar adalah Qu = 88,84 ton dengan Qa = 35,54 ton dan penurunannya 33,08 mm, berdasarkan metode Langsung daya dukung tiang tunggal yang terendah pada titik S 05 yaitu Qu = 365,34 ton dengan Qa = 84,87 ton dan penurunannya 44,26 mm, berdasarkan metode Meyerhoff dengan data SPT yang terendah pada titik BH 02 yaitu Qu = 62,70 ton dengan Qa = 38,96 ton dan penurunannya 19,11 mm, berdasarkan metode Alpha (α) dengan data hasil uji laboratorium nilai yang terendah pada titik BH 01 yaitu Qu = 83,38 ton dengan Qa = 27,79 ton dan penurunannya 38,42 mm, berdasarkan metode Lambda (λ) nilai daya dukung yang terendah pada titik BH 01 yaitu Qu = 71,10 ton dengan Qa = 23,70 ton dan penurunannya 38,42 mm dan berdasarkan metode Beta (β) daya dukung yang terendah pada titik BH 01 yaitu Qu = 29,33 ton dengan Qa = 9,78 ton dan penurunannya 38,42 mm.

Abstract

Klasifikasi tanah sistem unified (USCS) dilakukan utamanya menggunakan data distribusi butiran dan kadar air batas cair serta kadar air batas plastis. Proses penentuan klasifikasi cukup memakan waktu, jika dilakukan secara manual. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk memudahkan pengklasifikasian tanah dengan memanfaatkan Visual Basic Application (VBA) yang ada di Ms. Excel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menentukan format hasil uji distribusi butir dan batas atterberg, aplikasi yang dibuat dengan segera bisa mengklasifikasikan tanah. Aplikasi yang dibuat bisa menganalisis semua klasifikasi tanah sesuai dengan klasifikasi sistem unified.

Abstract

Currently, rigid pavement in almost all national, provincial and district roads is used instead of flexible pavement. One of the rigid concrete pavement quality controls is the flexural strength (fr = 45 kg / cm2 at 28 days) as stated in the General Specification of Binamarga year 2010 revision 3. This specification no longer regulates the value of compressive strength of the rigid pavement. This is a challenge for the construction’s practicians in implementation of the specification, because during this time the procurement of cement concrete is based on the compressive strength. The formula is in SNI 2847: 2013 on concrete that fr = 0,62Öfc’. While the construction practitioners generally still use the binamarga specifications of previous revisions that contain the quality of concrete (K-350), so that the quality of bending in general is not achieved. This research covers the value of bending test results conducted in the Engineering Laboratory on beams provided by third parties using lab services, as well as test specimens made in the laboratory. The test results show that there is a correlation between the flexure strength to the compressive strength of the concrete. The relationship is more or less the same as the formula contained in SNI concrete.Keywords: Concrete, Flexure strength, compressive strength, Binamarga Specs 2010 rev. 3
