Abstract

Abstrak:Novel populermerupakan salah satu jenis karya sastra yang sangat digemari remaja. Hal itu disebabkankarenacerita yang diangkat oleh pengarangsangatdekatdengankehidupanremaja. Pendidikan karaktermemangtidakbolehdipisahkandalamkehidupansehari-hariterutama pada saatremaja. Mulai darikehidupankeluarga, sekolah, hinggapergaulan. Penelitianinibertujuanuntukmendeskripsikannilai-nilai Pendidikan karakter dan kreativitaspengarangdalammenciptakankaraktertokoh yang terdapat pada novel Antares karyaRweinda. Sumber data pada penelitianiniadalah novel yang berjudulAntares karyaRweindaditerbitkan oleh Lovable tahun 2020. Data penelitianberupasatuan kata dan kalimat yang menggambarkannilai-nilaikarakter pada tokoh novel. Hasil daripenelitianiniadalahterdapat lima bentuknilaipendidikan yang digambarkandalam novel Antares karyaRweindadiantaranyatoleransi, tanggungjawab, kejujuran, solidaritas, dan berani. Kelimanilaipendidikankaraktertersebutsangatpatutuntukdicontohbagiremaja sat ini. Sehingga, novel inidapatdigunakansebagaialternatifdalampembelajarankarakter.Penggambarannilaipendidikankarakterdalam novel Antares karyaRweinda yang ditunjukkanmelaluikaraktertokohtidakterlepasdarikreativitaspengarang. Rweindasebagaipengarang novel inimampumenciptakantokohdenganberbagaikaraktertidakterlepasdarilingkungantempattinggalnya. Rweinda yang masihremajamampumenciptakantokohremajadengankarakter dan problem yang dialamisesuaidengankehidupanremaja. Abstract:Popular novels are one type of literary work that is very popular with teenagers. This is because the story that the author uses is very close to the lives of teenagers. Character education should not be separated in everyday life, especially during adolescence. Starting from family life, school, to social life. This study aims to describe the values of character education and the creativity of the author in creating the characters found in the novel Antares by Rweinda. The data source in this study is a novel entitled Antares by Rweinda published by Lovable in 2020. The research data is in the form of units of words and sentences that describe the character values of the novel characters. The results of this study are that there are five forms of educational values described in the novel Antares by Rweinda including tolerance, responsibility, honesty, solidarity, and courage. The five values of character education are very exemplary for today's youth. Thus, this novel can be used as an alternative in character learning. The depiction of the value of character education in the novel Antares by Rweinda which is shown through the characters cannot be separated from the creativity of the author. Rweinda as the author of this novel can create characters with various characters that cannot be separated from the environment in which they live. Rweinda who is still a teenager can create teenage characters with characters and problems experienced by the lives of teenagers.

Abstract

Pada 12 Oktober 2002, dunia diguncangkan oleh peristiwa serangan teroris yang terjadi di Legian Bali. Dalam peristiwa pengeboman ini 202 orang terbunuh dan 300 orang luka-luka. Peristiwa ini merupakan salah satu aksi terorisme terbesar di Indonesia, bahkan dunia. Meskipun banyak mendapat perhatian dari peneliti, tetapi bagaimana peristiwa kelam ini diingat dalam produk budaya masyarakat belum mendapatkan perhatian. Luka Bom Bali (2017) karya Ni Komang Erviani dan Anak Agung Lea merupakan karya memoar yang berkisah mengenai pengalaman hidup korban tragedi. Karya ini menjadi teks memori yang menggambarkan bagaimana peristiwa ini diingat dalam ingatan kolektif masyarakat Indonesia. Artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan representasi pengalaman traumatis dan strategi mengatasi trauma korban tragedi Bom Bali 1 yang tergambarkan dalam memoar Luka Bom Bali. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan psiko-historis. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik simak-catat dan dianalisis dengan teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan berbagai dorongan memori pasca-peristiwa pengeboman yang berada dalam alam bawah muncul dalam bentuk simbolis. Simbol-simbol ini menghantui kehidupan korban bahkan setelah 15 tahun peristiwa berlalu. Utnuk mengatasi trauma mental para korban menggunakan strategi memperkuat nilai religiusitasnya dan mengingat keluarga atau orang terdekat. Melalui analisis tersebut, kami berpendapat bahwa Luka Bom Bali merupakan state of memory kepedihan dan perjuangan korban terorisme Bom Bali 1 yang terus berjuang melawan luka fisik dan mental. Bahkan, setelah 15 tahun peristiwa berlalu para korban merasa tidak hadirnya pemerintah di tengah-tengah perjuangan mereka melawan rasa sakit. Para korban mengajak pembaca, khususnya generasi pasca-memori, untuk mengingat peristiwa ini dan belajar untuk memperoleh inspirasi dan pelajaran dari peristiwa yang terjadi. Karya ini mengajak pembaca untuk merasakan kembali trauma yang selama ini tidak tersuarakan dari perspektif korban, khususnya bagi generasi pasca-memori.   On October 12, 2002, the world was shaken by the terrorist attack in Legian Bali. In this bombing incident, 202 people were killed, and 300 people were injured. This incident is one of the biggest acts of terrorism in Indonesia, even the world. Although it has received much attention from researchers, how this dark event is remembered in the cultural products of the community has not received attention. Luka Bom Bali (Bali Bombing Woundss) (2017) by Ni Komang Erviani and Anak Agung Lea is a memoir that tells about the life experiences of victims of the tragedy. This work becomes a memory text that describes how this event is remembered in the collective memory of the Indonesian people. This article describes the representation of traumatic experiences and strategies for coping with the trauma of the victims of the Bali Bombing tragedy as depicted in the memoirs of the Bali Bombing Woundss. This study uses a psycho-historical approach. The data were collected using the note-taking technique and analyzed using the content analysis technique. The results showed that various post-bombing memory impulses that were in the unconscious appeared in a symbolic form. These symbols haunt the victim's life even after 15 years of the incident. To coping mental trauma, the victims use strategies to strengthen their religious values ​​and remember their families. Through this analysis, we argue that the Luka Bom Bali (Bali Bombing Woundss) is a state of memory of the pain and struggle of the victims who continue to struggle with physical and mental injuries. Even after 15 years of the incident, the victims felt the absence of the government during their struggle against pain. The victims invite readers, especially the post-memory generation, to remember this event and draw inspiration and lessons from the events. This work invites the reader to re-experience the trauma that has been unspoken from the victim's perspective, especially for the post-memory generation.

Abstract

The legend of the forbidden love relationship between Joko Lancur and Dewi Amirah is much more than just an oral story. This story is still believed to be true so that it affects the socio-cultural life of the Ponorogo community in Indonesia. This study aims to describe the impact and function of the legend in the life of the people of Ponorogo. This study uses a sociology of literature perspective. Data were collected through 1) observation, 2) documentation, and 3) interviews with some informants. The results showed that the legend of Joko Lancur and Dewi Amirah is still deeply rooted in the social fabric of the people of Golan Village and Mirah Hamlet in Ponorogo. This legend is believed to be true by the communities in the two regions so it has an impact on the way they view the social relations between the two regions. The people of both regions believe that members of Golan community will never be able to live together with those of Mirah community. If this taboo is violated, bad things will happen. Even so, this legend functions as a means of 1) legalizing social institutions, 2) regulating community norms, 3) supporting education, and 4) strengthening community solidarity.

Abstract

Nationalism and state defense are things that are often questioned lately. This study discusses the implementation of the value of nationalism in the literary work of the novel entitled Si Anak Pemberani by Tere Liye. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The theory used in this study is the concept of nationalism proposed by Lisyarti and Setiadi (2008). Collecting data using library techniques by reading, listening and taking notes. The results of this study indicate five forms of implementing the values of nationalism in the novel. The five forms of nationalism values include: civic nationalism, cultural nationalism, ethnic nationalism, state nationalism, religious nationalism.

Abstract

This study aims to find the social consequences of the demotion myth associated with the Bajang Ratu temple among the residents of Pelem Hamlet. Employing a qualitative methodology with an ethnographic approach, the research utilized interviews, observations, and documentation techniques. The data analysis involved processes such as data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings of the study reveal that the demotion myth has become a long-standing tradition passed down through generations for several decades. The social impacts stemming from the demotion myth at the Bajang Ratu Temple include: (1) reluctance among many officials to enter the Bajang Ratu Temple, (2) the practice of circumambulating the temple once as part of the tradition, (3) the necessity of using polite language, and (4) a significant proportion of Bajang Ratu Temple visitors being officials.

Abstract

The objective of the community service carried out by a team from Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang at SMPN 16 Malang is to increase students’ creative writing literacy. The methods used were training and mentoring during creative writing. The activity began with recording students’ writing interests and identifying the students' type of writing preferences, followed by training, writing practice, evaluating student work, strengthening student understanding, and improving the written work. To achieve the activity’s targets, students were requested to answer questions on a Google form. The result shows that 178 students have an interest in writing, of which 79% chose to write stories, 19% wrote poetry, and the rest chose fables and history. Students who were interested in writing were given training and practice. The training includes strengthened writing concepts, writing practice, result assistance, and feedback. Training activities, mentoring, and enhancement of student work are carried out for three months. Furthermore, the process of editing and designing the book was carried out for one month. At the end of the activity, 78 students could write short stories, descriptive stories, and poetry. After going through the curation and editing process, the students' work was recorded with an International Standard Book Number (ISBN) and given to each author and the school.

Abstract

The research aims to describe (1) the main character's adaptation to orang rimba culture; (2) the main character's steps in providing education to the orang rimba in the "Sokola Rimba" novel. This qualitative research uses the theory of Literary Anthropology and Pedagogy. The data source is Butet Manurung's "Sokola Rimba". The data is in the form of story units containing pedagogical literary anthropology elements. Data collection techniques include reading the object of study accompanied by reading theory, making research indicators and data capture tables, and grouping data into data capture tables. The data analysis technique begins with reducing inappropriate data, describing and interpreting the data, and finally concluding the research results. The results of this study are (1) the adaptation carried out by the main character is understanding the local wisdom of the orang rimba, which includes the orang rimba considering the honey tree as a tree of life, the orang rimba believing in natural signs, the orang rimba having skills in obtaining food and saving themselves, and the naming of places by orang rimba; (2) the main character's steps in providing education to the orang rimba include teaching reading, writing, arithmetic, and communicating while maintaining local wisdom.

Abstract

One application that is currently in vogue is TikTok. One of the news media that utilizes the TikTok platform is Tribunnews. This news site provides various news that occurs in both local, national, and international news in a precise and fast manner. Tribunnews provides a forum for the community to share information or convey ideas and empirical experiences that benefit the nation's life through two Tribunnews sections, namely Tribuners and Citizen Reporter. Research related to abbreviation analysis in the comment column of the Tribunnews account on Tiktok is essential to improve readers' understanding, especially students. This research uses descriptive methods with qualitative research types. The data source for this research is the Tribunnews account on Tiktok from June 28, 2021, to July 22, 2021. This research data is in the form of words, phrases, clauses and sentences containing types, forms of origin, and factors forming abbreviations in the comments on the Tribunnews account on Tiktok. The data analysis technique was carried out by reading the comments of the Tribunnews account on Tiktok, identifying data, classifying, and connecting the data with existing theories. Abbreviations dominate the most when compared to other types. In the original form of abbreviations, noun phrases, proper names, and words are found. The noun phrase origin form dominates when compared to other origin forms. In the abbreviation formation, factors found in the Tribunnews account on Tiktok are preserving/retaining the first letter of each component, preserving/retaining the first syllable, and preserving/retaining some syllables.

Abstract

Menulis teks eksplanasi dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia merupakan sebuah objek kajian yang menarik untuk diteliti. Hal ini dikarenakan minimnya pengetahuan siswa mengenai teks eksplanasi, sehingga memerlukan sebuah bahan ajar interaktif yang dapat membantu dan memudahkan siswa dalam belajar menulis teks eksplanasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penggunaan bahan ajar interaktif guna memudahkan menulis teks eksplanasi pada siswa Kelas VI SD di Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode persentase deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI dari SD Muhammadiyah 8 K.H. Mas Mansur Kota Malang dan SD Muhammadiyah 3 Assalam Arjosari Kota Malang. Total terdapat 42 siswa dari kedua Sekolah Dasar (SD) yang digunakan sebagai sampel penelitian. Penentuan jumlah tersebut berdasarkan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) penerapan bahan ajar interaktif mampu memudahkan proses penulisan teks eksplanasi dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dan (2) keberadaan bahan ajar interaktif juga dapat berperan sebagai media pembelajaran yang memberikan manfaat bagi siswa. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk objektifikasi perempuan pada ranah perkawinan dan kekuasaan dalam novel Sitayana karya Cok Sawitri. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan teori objektifikasi oleh Barbara Frederickson dan Tomi-Ann Roberts. Sumber data penelitian ini diperolah dari kutipan novel Sitayana karya Cok Sawitri yang menggambarkan objektifikasi terhadap perempuan. Proses pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumenter dan catat yang dilakukan dengan beberapa langkah yaitu: Pertama, membaca novel Sitayana terlebih dahulu secara berulang-ulang. Kedua, mengidentifikasi isi novel yang berhubungan dengan rumusan masalah yaitu objektifikasi perempuan dalam novel Sitayana karya Cok Sawitri. Ketiga, menganalisis data berdasarkan teori yang digunakan yaitu objektifikasi perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) bentuk objektifikasi perempuan terjadi pada ranah perkawinan berupa instrumental, pembungkaman, dan dapat dilukai, 2) pada ranah kekuasaan berupa penyangkalan subjektivitas, kepemilikan, dan tidak memiliki kehendak, serta 3) upaya untuk melepaskan diri dari objektifikasi berupa penolakan terhadap keputusan.
