Abstract

The mappadendang tradition carried out by the Bugis community in Katteong village and several other areas are intended as an implementation of gratitude to Allah for the harvest they get. In addition to the implementation of gratitude (tazkiyah al-nafs), in the mappadendang tradition there are also strong values of unity and cooperation from the community. In exposing the values contained in the mappadendang tradition, this study uses a qualitative method with an analytical descriptive approach. This research tries to examine the mappadendang tradition by using the study of living hadith. The questions to be answered in this research are how the mappadendang tradition builds closeness to God through tazkiyah as in the form of gratitude, and whether the mappadendang tradition is true in its Islamic values or does it include deviations committed by Islamic society. The findings in this study indicate that the mappadendang tradition is pure as a form of gratitude to Allah, in which in every process and implementation nothing is found that deviates from Islam (does not conflict with the Qur’an and hadith or violates community habits). But every process and implementation cannot be separated from the value of unity and cooperation, to create harmony between communities. From that, it is important to do this research so that people carry out the mappadendang tradition which has been passed down from generation not only to attend and carry it out but also to understand the values contained therein.[Tradisi mappadendang yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat Bugis di desa Katteong dan beberapa daerah lainnya ditujukan sebagai implementasi rasa syukur kepada Allah atas hasil panen yang didapat. Selain implementasi rasa syukur (tazkiyah al-nafs), di dalam tradisi mappadendang juga ditemukan nilai-nilai  persatuan dan gotong royong yang kuat dari masyarakat. Dalam mengekspos nilai-nilai yang terkandung pada tradisi mappadendang, penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitis. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengkaji tradisi mappadendang dengan menggunakan kajian living hadis. Adapun persoalan yang ingin dijawab dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana tradisi mappadendang membangun kedekatan dengan Tuhan melalui upaya tazkiyah al-nafs dalam bentuk syukur, dan apakah tradisi mappadendang benar di dalamnya adalah nilai-nilai keislaman ataukah justru termasuk penyimpangan yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat Islam. Temuan dalam penelitian ini, menunjukkan bahwa tradisi mappadendang murni sebagai bentuk syukur kepada Allah, yang dalam setiap proses dan pelaksanaannya tidak didapati sesuatu yang menyimpang dari Islam (tidak bertentangan dengan al-Qur’an dan hadis atau menyalahi kebiasaan masyarakat). melainkan setiap proses dan pelaksanaannya tidak lepas dari nilai persatuan dan kerjasama, sehingga terciptanya keharmonisan antara masyarakat. Dari itu penelitian ini penting untuk dilakukan agar masyarakat melaksanakan tradisi mappadendang yang sudah dilakukan turun temurun oleh nenek moyang tidak hanya sebatas menghadiri dan melaksanakan, melainkan juga bisa memahami nilai-nilai yang terkandung di dalamnya.]

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has shaped people's behavior patterns to utilize technology to facilitate activities. Technological innovations used in the financial sector with Islamic concepts are called sharia financial technology. This study aims to prove the theoretical concepts of planned behavior (attitudes, subjective norms, and perceptions of behavior control), the use of technology, Islamic financial literacy and digital literacy influence students' interest in using Islamic financial technology. This study uses a quantitative method with an explanatory research approach. The population in this study were FEBI UIN RIL students. The sampling method used accidental sampling with a total sample of 221 respondents. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used the structural equation model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with the Warpls 7.0 tool. The results of the study prove that the variables attitude (X1), perceived behavioural control (X3), digital literacy (X5), and use of technology (X6) influence students' intentions to use Islamic financial technology. Meanwhile, the subjective norm variables (X2) and Islamic financial literacy (X4) have no effect on students' intentions to use Islamic financial technology.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze and examine in depth how the instillation of religious values contributes to developing the religious attitudes of high school students and the challenges faced in forming the religious attitudes of high school students in the modern era. Meanwhile, the approach taken in this research uses a qualitative approach with the library research method. The data source for this research combines two primary and secondary sources. Primary media include journal articles, e-books, websites, and other internet media. Meanwhile, secondary sources include online proceedings, magazines, newspapers, and other sources related to the discussion theme. The data collection techniques collect the sources that have been mentioned, classify them, and then draw conclusions. Meanwhile, what is used in this research is a descriptive analysis technique, namely by integrating general knowledge, then drawing specifically (inductively) based on the results of literature findings, which have been carried out with the stages of collecting secondary and primary data, then classifying the data, displaying the data, and then interpreting it to produce knowledge for drawing. conclusion. The results of the research found that instilling religious values in developing students' religious attitudes includes: (1) the role of educators in instilling religious values; (2) the challenges of religious attitudes in the modern era; (3) the implementation of a religious values instillation program; (4) the relationship between religious attitudes and technological developments; and (5) the influence of the school environment in forming religious attitudes. So it can be concluded that the value of worship, the value of the spirit of jihad, the value of morals, the value of example, and the value of trust and sincerity of these five are the core values of the religious values as the basis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Abraham Maslow's humanism learning theory and how it is implemented in overcoming learning disabilities in Islamic religious education. This study used a qualitative research method with a library research approach. Data sources include books, journal articles, theses, and other information related to implementing Abraham Maslow's humanism learning theory in overcoming learning difficulties in Islamic religious education learning. The results showed that Maslow's theory of humanism offers a hierarchy of needs, which has five kinds of higher-level human needs, assuming that higher needs will be fulfilled if lower needs are met. According to Abraham Maslow, five kinds of the hierarchy of needs are physiological needs, safety needs, affection needs, esteem needs, and self-actualization needs. In overcoming learning difficulties in learning Islamic religious education, the implementation of the theory of the hierarchy of needs can be explained as follows; 1) Fulfillment of physiological needs is to ensure that the basic needs of students are met, 2) fulfillment of the need for security is not to show threatening behavior, criticize, or even judge students for their mistakes without knowing the cause, 3) fulfillment of the need for affection by showing empathy, caring, patience, fairness, and openness towards students, 4) fulfilling the need for self-esteem by giving freedom to students to express opinions and respecting students' own choices, 5) fulfilling the need for self-actualization by supporting and facilitating students in developing their potential by giving freedom to students to hone their potential abilities.   Keywords: Abraham Maslow, Humanism Learning theory, Learning Disabilities, The hierarchy of needs

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effectiveness of the inquiry learning model in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes in PAI and Budi Pekerti subjects. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design type one group pretest-posttest (single group pretest-final test). The population consisted of all students in class VIII, while the sample was taken from class VIII C using a non-probability sampling technique. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and test techniques in the form of multiple-choice questions. Analysis of Data used the Paired Sample t-test statistical test, SPSS version 26 software. The results showed a Z value of -4.743 with a p-value (Asymp. Sig. 2 tailed) of 0.000 which is smaller than the significance value of 0.05 with the decision H0 was rejected so that there was a notable distinction in the cognitive learning results of students in Islamic Education and Characteristics subjects between before and after the applying the inquiry-based learning model. Thus, the inquiry learning model applied in Islamic Education and Characteristics subjects effectively improves the outcomes of cognitive learning students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in developing Islamic Religious Education curriculum materials for deaf students. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The data source is secondary data, data collection techniques include collecting, editing, categorizing and concluding data, while data analysis by analyzing the content in depth. The results revealed that PAI teachers have as implementer adapters, developers, and researchers in the process of developing Islamic Religious Education curriculum materials for deaf students. Therefore, PAI teachers are required to be creative and innovate to modify learning materials in such a way according to the characteristics and needs of the deaf students taught. Thus, teachers have a very important role in the development of PAI curriculum materials for deaf students. Because the success or failure of the implementation of the curriculum is determined by the teacher himself, because the teacher becomes the spearhead in the implementation of the curriculum.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan komitmen yang disengaja dalam proses pendampingan dan pembelajaran agar individu dapat berkembang menjadi manusia yang mandiri, bertanggung jawab, kreatif, berilmu, berakal dan berakhlak mulia. Oleh karena itu, orangtua ingin memberikan yang terbaik untuk anaknya agar mendapatkan sesuatu yang bermanfaat dan menjadi bekal sebelum memasuki sekolah. Peran orangtua dalam keluarga sangat kompleks dan multidimensi. Orangtua memiliki tanggung jawab yang besar dalam membentuk masa depan anak-anaknya, seperti halnya dalam pemilihan sekolah lanjutan bagi anaknya. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran orangtua dalam menentukan sekolah lanjutan anak di desa laju kecematan langgudu kabupaten bima. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, metode yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan melibatkan 2 anggota keluarga dengan total 6 narasumber yang terdiri dari ayah, ibu dan masing-masing satu anak dalam keluarga yang menempuh sekolah menengah atas. Pada hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa anak mengalami masa dimana anak memilih pindah sekolah ditengah tahun ajaran karena anak merasa tidak nyaman, tertekan, stress, dan perilaku kenakalan dengan teman sebaya, karena sekolah yang ditempuh bukanlah pilihannya, melaikan pilihan dari orangtua. Dalam 2 anggota keluarga ini ditemukan, keluarga 1 bahwa orangtua tidak menanyakan pendapat anak mengenai sekolah lanjutan dengan langsung menetapkannya pada sekolah yang ditentukan oleh orangtua. Dan keluarga 2 menanyakan pendapat anaknya tetapi dengan memberikan pilihan dengan sekolah pilihan orangtua yang pada akhirnya pilihan dari orangtua yang menjadi keputusan akhir. Ditemukan juga bahwa teman sebaya memiliki pengaruh sehingga terjadinya suatu masalah pada anak.

Abstract

      In the times and technology makes business competition more advanced. It becomes an opportunity to introduce and maintain the product. The number of similar products makes a strategy to make it easier for consumers to choose the product they are looking for. With the development of consumers, consumer desires also develop where the purchase of a product is no longer a need but also a desire. The desire of consumers is not only to meet basic needs but also to problems with physical appearance, especially on the face, which is a beauty that is a top priority for users. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether product quality, product features, product design have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions? Then do product quality, product features, product design have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for cosmetic products at the Kartika Aesthetic Beauty Clinic and Erha Bandar Lampung Beauty Clinic in an Islamic management perspective? This study aims to determine the effect of product quality, product features and product design on purchasing decisions for cosmetic products and to describe it in an Islamic management perspective.      This research uses descriptive quantitative method, which is a research method to examine a particular population or sample in order to test the hypothesis that has been set. The data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires and interviews. Sampling in this study by taking the Accidental Sampling technique. And this data collection method using a questionnaire given to 100 respondents each of 50 respondents and interviews with the Beauty Clinic.      The results of this test indicate that product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions at the Kartika Aesthetic Beauty Clinic with a significant value of 0.014 <0.05 and the Erha Beauty Clinic with a significant value of 0.025 <0.05. Meanwhile, the product features at the Kartika Aesthetic Beauty Clinic with a significant value of 0.030 <0.05 and the Erha Beauty Clinic with a significant value of 0.011 with a significant value <0.05. As well as product design at the Kartika Aesthetic Beauty Clinic with a significant value of 0.034 <0.05 and the Erha Beauty Clinic with a significant value of 0.017 <0.05. Based on data analysis, the conclusion of product quality, product features, and product design affects the purchasing decisions of cosmetic products at the Kartika Aesthetic Beauty Clinic and Erha Beauty Clinic in Bandar Lampung from an Islamic management perspective.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of green campus initiatives at universities in Indonesia, with particular emphasis on how islamic economic principles can further support environmental sustainability. Using the national level UI GreenMetric World University Rankings in the category of Most Sustainable University, three universities were selected as researh samples. This field research employed interviews and documentation from sustainability reports and official university websites. The implementation of the green campus was measured using four key instruments: Environmental Awareness, Environmental Involvement, Environmental Reporting, and Environmental Auditing. The findings indicate that all three universities have implemented the stages of environmental awareness, involvement, and reporting, but have not fully implemented environmental auditing. Participation in the UI GreenMetric reflects increasing awareness of sustainability issues among universities and their surrounding communities. Notably, University X demonstrated the highest level of implementation across the four green campus indicators. Futhermore, islamic economic principles such as moderation (wasatiyyah), stewardship (khalifah), and social responsibility (maslahah) offer an ethical and moral foundation to strengthen sustainability efforts in islamic universities. These principles promote the responsible use of resources, discourage wastefulness (israf), and encourage equity in resource management. Legitimacy theory supports the notion that organizations must align with societal and environmental value systems, as greater responsibility towards the environment enhances their reputation and public trust. Therefore, integrating islamic economic values into green campus initiatives not only aligns with global sustainability practices but also positions universities as ethical leaders in promoting environmental consciousness

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of rupiah exchange rate, foreign exchange reserves, and The Fed Rate on interest rates in Indonesia from an Islamic economic perspective for the period 2003-2024 using the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) approach. This research uses a quantitative approach with time series data for 22 years (2003-2024) and analyzes data using Eviews 10. The results show that in the long term, the rupiah exchange rate has a significant effect on interest rates in Indonesia (t-statistic 2.93 > t-table 2.10), The Fed Rate has a significant effect on interest rates (t-statistic 2.67 > t-table 2.10), while foreign exchange reserves do not significantly affect interest rates (t-statistic 1.85 < t-table 2.10). From an Islamic economic perspective, interest rates are a manifestation of usury (riba) practices that are prohibited because they contain elements of exploitation and injustice. Islamic financial systems develop comprehensive alternatives through profit-sharing principles (mudharabah), buying and selling (murabahah), and leasing (ijarah) that reflect dimensions of justice and blessing. This research provides an important contribution to monetary policy making that considers national economic stability while still referring to Islamic economic principles.
