Abstract

Big data systems are essential for many businesses to grow, leveraging the vast amounts of data they generate and access. However, big data systems are plagued by significant sustainability challenges. Thus, this study aims to identify metrics that can measure the sustainability of big data systems. This research conducted a comprehensive literature review to identify five key sustainability dimensions: technical, environmental, economic, social, and individual. Then, a set of 29 metrics corresponding to these dimensions was developed. To ensure the relevance and applicability of these metrics, an expert validation session was carried out with five experts in the big data field. The validation process confirmed the appropriateness of our proposed metrics and modification take place. The findings of this study present 30 metrics upon experts’ validation that could enhance the sustainability of big data systems, offering meaningful insights for researchers and practitioners aiming to enhance resource and energy efficiency in this domain.

Abstract

Vitamin A is the most essential nutrient, this is because our food consumption is not sufficient and is still low so it must be met from outside. Vitamin A is a vitamin that has many properties for reducing mortality and morbidity rates, and is beneficial for human growth, and also plays a role in the body's immune system, protecting the body from contracting various infections. A deficiency of vitamin A can cause night blindness, which is another form of xeropthalmia including damage to the cornea and blindness. From the explanation of the various benefits of vitamin A itself, it is very important to meet the daily needs of vitamin A, especially for children and toddlers who are still in the process of growing in order to avoid various diseases ranging from eye diseases, growth and nutritional problems to infectious diseases. can endanger lives. The aim of this service is to educate the public about the correct use of vitamins and the importance of fulfilling nutrition, especially vitamin A for children. The method used in this activity is presentation of material, question and answer between the presenter and the village community, filling in the pretest and posttest. This service activity provides material understanding regarding the benefits of giving vitamin A to children as evidenced by increased knowledge after socialization and understanding of the community in the Coastal Coastal Village of Sumpang Binangae regarding Vitamin A in children.

Abstract

Iron is a mineral needed to form hemoglobin or red blood cells. Iron also plays a role in the formation of myoglobin (a protein that carries oxygen to muscles), collagen (a protein found in bones, cartilage and connective tissue), and enzymes. Iron can also be used for the body's defense system. The aim of this community service is to provide health education on the provision of iron (Fe) tablets for the formation of red blood cells (Hb) in the coastal community of Sumpang Binangae Subdistrict as many as 41 children. The Hb examination method used is analyzing children's capillary blood samples using the GCHb tool, then continuing with the distribution of vitamins. Meanwhile, the method of providing information regarding the importance of maintaining personal hygiene to parents of children is through oral presentations and joint discussions. The results of the Hb level examination obtained are compared with the standard reference for normal Hb values and then analyzed whether the results are in accordance with normal values or not. Meanwhile, from the results of the counseling, it was found that there was an increase in parents' understanding of the importance of children's health in increasing knowledge about the importance of children's health and providing children with vitamins was an effort to improve children's health for the sake of an intelligent generation.

Abstract

Developing knowledge management systems (KMS) significantly supports, manages, or enhances the organization's knowledge management (KM) processes and activities. However, studies have shown that very few discussions focus on formulating the theoretical framework to support the development of KMS. Therefore, this paper aims to fill the void and gap in developing a more effective and efficient KMS. This study proposes a theoretical framework for KMS in the context of quality management systems (QMS), formulated based on three domain areas: established theories, knowledge management (KM) framework or model, and past KMS. This research output derived seven components of KMS (strategy, actors, KM process, source of knowledge, information management, continuous improvement, and infrastructure). This study has also contributed to the body of knowledge in KM by enriching the formulation of a theoretical framework for KMS. Although this study is conceptual and has yet to include the framework's validity and reliability testing, it has addressed a gap that can be potentially fulfilled and refined with more intense discussion and empirical studies.

Abstract

A career decision is incredibly essential in one's life. It shapes one's future role in society, influences professional development, and can lead to success and fulfillment. Making a sound and consistent career decision based on skills and interests is critical for personal and professional development. Since generative AI is an emerging and revolutionizing technology industry in the market, which is very good in generating contents, providing consultancies and answering questions in humanly fashion, integrating AI chatbots into the career planning process can help students to get more accurate and personalized advice for their future career. This pilot study emphasized the student’s adoption of chatbot technology for career selecting processes utilizing the extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) model with four additional constructs which influence the student’s career selection, namely: Perceived Student’s External Factors (PEF), Perceived Student’s Interest (PSN), Perceived Career Opportunities (PCO) and Perceived Self-Efficacy (PSF). An online survey was conducted, and 37 responses were received and analyzed. The measurement model produced a promising result, and the discriminant validity, construct reliability and validity of the model were confirmed with a Cronbach’s alpha (α) above 0.70 threshold and AVE over 0.5 cut-off for most of the constructs including the four above mentioned latent variables. However, the Price Value (PPV) and Facilitating Conditions (PFC) UTAUT2 constructs produced alpha () of 0.680 and 0.611 respectively which is still adequate since their AVE is above the 0.5 threshold. Consequently, their interpretation and conclusions should be approached with caution.

The purpose of this Community Service Activity is to prevent complications and improve the health of the community optimally regarding inflammation that occurs in the lining of the stomach (Gastritis). The Community Service Activity Method with the Pre Test - Post Test Design design is by conducting interventions in the form of counseling and health education to the community optimally regarding inflammation that occurs in the lining of the stomach (Gastritis). The results of the Community Service activity showed that there was an increase in the average general knowledge score before the counseling was given, which was 52%, while after the counseling was given, the average knowledge score increased to 85%. The conclusion is that community service activities provide very useful knowledge for the community who participate in counseling and health education for the community about inflammation that occurs in the lining of the stomach (Gastritis).

Abstract

Background: Cardiac arrest is an emergency that requires rapid and appropriate treatment. Basic Life Support (BLS) training is an important effort to improve the competence of healthcare workers in providing first aid in this situation. However, nurses working outside the emergency department (non-ER) often do not receive routine training, thus hampering the potential for an effective initial response. Objective: To determine the effectiveness of BLS training on improving the competence of non-ER nurses in managing cardiac arrest. Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest approach without a control group. The subjects were 40 non-ER nurses at a government hospital who participated in BLS training. Data were collected using a questionnaire and a skills observation checklist, analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. Results: There was a significant increase in cognitive and psychomotor competency scores after BHD training (p < 0.001). The average pretest score was 58.3, increasing to 83.7 on the posttest. Conclusion: BHD training effectively improved the competency of non-ED nurses in managing cardiac arrest, both in terms of knowledge and skills. Routine training should be included in hospital quality improvement programs.
