Abstract

Mastery of a foreign language is very important. The increasingly close relations between nations requires the availability of foreign language skills to meet communication needs. Moreover, there are often difficulties or difficulties experienced by foreign language learners with a mother tongue background who have a language system that is not the same as a foreign language system. The purpose of knowing the process morfofonemik in the Java Language and the Arabic language. Types of library research or library research, which takes a data source in the literature. This study includes the type of qualitative research. The research explained the data and then analyzed systematically. The results and findings of the study that the process of morphophonology in the Java language occur because of the appearance of phonemes, pelesapan phonemes, leaching phonemes and shifting phonemes. Whereas in Arabic occurs phonemeal dissolution, phoneme changes, the addition of phonemes and shifting phonemes. The equation of the process morfofonemik between the two languages, namely the same-the same happened phoneme dissolution, while the difference is in the Arabic language does not occur appearance and leaching phonemes as in the language of Java. Implications this study has contributed to the ease of learning in the mastery of foreign languages by learners of a foreign language, namely Arabic.

Abstract

This study aims to find and reduce the location of errors in learning Arabic in the aspect of reciting Arabic letters (makhorijul letters) with the error analysis method. Focus more specifically on the phonetic aspect, namely on letters that sound like sounds. In addition, this study also aims to determine the forms of errors in reading Arabic texts in the phonological level (phonetic / makhroj aspects). This type of research is a qualitative study, conducted at MTs. Raudlatul Jannah Natar, South Lampung. Understanding the study of how to pronounce or sound Arabic letters is very important in learning Arabic to avoid pronunciation errors, so it does not hamper the learning process. The results of this study indicate that the forms of phonological errors that often occur when reading Arabic text activities are errors in sound in terms of articulation factors including among them: 1) apico-dental-alveolar sound. 2) Inter-dental sound. 3) Foronto-palatal sounds. 4) Dorso-uvular sound. 5) Dorso-velar sound. 6) Sound of avico-alveolars. 7) The sound of root-pharyngeals. The sound error in terms of aspects of articulation that is in: 1) fricative sound. 2) pop sound.

Abstract

Arabic is a second language for some Indonesian students, but in reality, there are still many errors in writing. Especially in the writing of the Hamza letters that have not been mastered properly. Therefore this research was conducted to know the forms of errors in writing Hamza, the causes of errors in writing, and the strategies used to minimize errors in writing Arabic. This study took the first-level learning at the Arabic Language Education Department at IAIN Samarinda as a sample. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection using observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's theory through data collection processing, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The mistakes that often occur in writing the letters Hamza based on their type are Hamzah Qaá¹­'i, Hamzah Waá¹£l, Hamzah Mutawaá¹£iá¹­ah, and Hamzah Mutaá¹­arifah. These errors are based on the lack of knowledge of Arabic writing rules, lack of practice as a form of Arabic writing practice. Meanwhile, the strategy used to minimize these errors is to use a variety of methods in teaching Arabic, also to apply the rules of Imla ', utilize media or multimedia learning, and apply the theory of writing skills gradually. Then give examples of various Arabic writing models, and increase Arabic writing exercises accompanied by proper Arabic writing rules.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the forms of ism kāna and khabar kāna wa-akhwātuhā. This research is qualitative with a type of library research. Data collection techniques are using the documentation method, while data analysis techniques are using content analysis. The results of this study prove that in al-‘Arabīyah li-al-Nāshi’īn book, volume 4, there are 161 types of ism kāna, while khabar kāna totaling 84 are analyzed based on (1) The i‘rāb aspect and its form there are 38 ism kāna in the form of ism mabnī consisting of 28 ḍamīr mustatir jawāzān, 7 ḍamīr bāriz which are composed of ḍamīr muṭṭaṣil and 3 ism al-ishārah. Likewise, 46 ism kāna in the form of ism mu‘rab; 41 ism mufrad, 3 jam‘ al-taksīr, 1 ism tahnīyah and 1 asmā’ al-khamsah. As for the aspects of its type, there are 77 ism kāna in the form of mudhakkar and mu’annath, 63 consisting of mudhakkar and 14 consisting of mu’annath. (2) 84 khabar kāna consists of 38 khabar mufrad in the form of ism jāmid and ism mushtaq, 33 khabar in the form of fi‘l mudhari‘ and 13 khabar shibh al-jumlah in the form of jār majrūr. This study contributes to the development of studyng Arabic grammar which can be applied in the use of Arabic as in the book.

Abstract

The purpose of this discussion is to find out the process of changing loanwords and the form or type of loanwords that occur. The research method used is a descriptive method. This methodology focuses more on the “what” of the research subject rather than the “why” of the research subject. Data collection used in this study is content analysis and library techniques from literature sources such as dictionaries. Data analysis used in this study is the translational equivalent method. The results of this study found that the loanwords on Lampung language from Arabic through morphophonological processes in the form of sound attenuation, sound reinforcement, sound relaxation, addition of sound, reduction of multiple consonants, dissimilation, and aferesis. Then, the types of loanwords produced by the Lampung language from Arabic Language are in the form of full absorption patterns, partial absorption and pronunciation adjusment. This study contributes to the wealth of linguistic studies, especially Arabic and Lampung language which are widely spoken by the local community.

Abstract

This research aims to know the method of Arabization on Majma ' al-Lugah al-' Arabiyyah Malaky Magazine part 3. Research was carried out using linguistic approach i.e. phonology. The researcher used this type of qualitative research. The research was carried toward the words of Arabization on Majma ' al-Lugah al-' Arabiyyah Malaky Magazine part 3. Data collection was done through documentation technique. This research included library research that takes a data source in the library. The results of this research showed that there were at least three methods of phonological rules used in the Arabization or ta'rib processes. Those three methods were ta'rib process with the changes to the sound, the sound changes and additions, as well as without the changes of the sound.

Abstract

This paper examines the stylistic of Sulaiman's story in the Qur’an and its chronology. The language style has a building in the historical social context of the Arab community when it came down to the Qur’an. This article aimed to find the chronology and function of each language style used in the story of Sulaiman. This study was a library research with descriptive and analytical data presentation methods. The primary data were taken from the Qur’an in Surah Şād (30–40). A hetorical and chronological analysis wass used in this research. The finding of this study showed that the rhetoric of Sulaiman's story in Surah Şād still used a high style of language. Based on these findings, a strong language style is a characteristic of the Sulaiman's story to strengthen the prophet's heart, console the prophet and give the encouragement of spreading da’wa of Muhammad. This study contributes to a complete understanding of language style.

Abstract

Arabic language learning in the era of the COVID-19 emergency requires a good learning design. This research aims to ascertain how the Arabic learning process is done online at SDIT Al-Azhar Padang; how the students' responses; and the obstacles faced by teachers when teaching Arabic by online in the COVID-19 emergency. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study research design. The data collection included observation, interviews, and documentation with data analysis techniques by using data triangulation. The results showed that; 1) the Arabic learning model in the era of COVID-19 emergency can be done by integrating media, material, and evaluation based on online 2) the improvement of students' motivation and their interest in learning online can be seen with the indications that students were fast in responding and they got the maximal results in Arabic learning, 3) some of the obstacles faced by teachers when the online learning is done are the limited ability of teachers to design the material, unlimited time allocation, lack of communication to explain the detailed instruction. The findings found that Arabic learning online can encourage creativity, critical thinking skills, good communication, and the ability to process information based on technology.
