Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe the ability of student’s social skills in class XI IPS3 SMAN 12 Pekanbaru through the application cooperative learning SOLO techniques on material impulse, momentum, and collision. The design was pre-experimental with the one-shot case study. The research subject were students of class XI IPS3 that consist of 31 students, 10 male students and 21 female students. Data were obtained from the observastion of student’s social skills. The result of this research showed the improvement of shows in crease the ability of student’s social skills . The improvement occuof through the aplication of cooperative learning SOLO techniques. The increase accurred in every indicators of student’s social skills as: active listening; Pose the questions; Take turn in sharing the task; cooperative (mutual cooperative); and tolerance. The results showed that acquisition value the average percentage for all indicators of student’s social skills in the middle category. Therefore, it can be concluded that aplication of cooperative learning SOLO techniques able to train of student’s social skills in class XI IPS3 SMAN 12 Pekanbaru.Keywords: student’s social skill, cooperative learning, SOLO techniques, momentum impulse and collision.

Abstract: This study aims to determine the increase of formal thinking ability in science lesson by applying cooperative learning model of think talk write type. This research was conducted in MTs N 1 Rokan Hulu Filial North Tambusai in January to May 2018. The population in this study is the students of class VIII 2nd semester of the academic year 2017/2018 consisting of 3 classes. While the sample in this research is 2 homogenous class which chosen at random. The design of this research is Quasi Experimental in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The instrument of data collection in this research is a formal thinking skill test consisting of 10 items of multiple choice by using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. From the descriptive analysis, the result of absorption ability of the average of the experimental class students before the treatment is 30,32% with the less good category, after given the students absorbance treatment equal to 60,32% with good enough category while the absorption average of control class before treatment by 37.50% in the less favorable category, after being subjected to average absorption treatment increased by 50% with good enough category. The formal thinking ability of the experimental class students has moderate category with N-Gain 0,48 while control class is 0.22 with low category. Based on inferential analysis through independent sample t test obtained Sig value. (2-tailed) = 0.037 <0.05 which means there is a significant difference. The result of this research can be concluded that the use of cooperative type model of think talk write can improve students' formal thinking ability in MTs N 1 Rokan Hulu Filial Tambusai Utara on the material of geteran, wave and sound.Key Words: Formal Thinking Ability, Cooperative Model, and Think Talk Write

Abstract: This study aims to determine the improvement of critical thinking skills in learning physics by applying SQ4R learning model. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru in January to May 2018. The population in this study is the students of class X IPA semester 2 of the year 2017/2018 which consists of 6 classes. The sample in this study were 2 randomly selected homogeneous classes, ie X IPA 1 as the experimental class and X IPA 3 as the control class. The design of this research is Quasi Experimental in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Instrument of data collection in this research is critical thinking ability test which consist of 12 items of multiple choice by using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using T test (independent samples t-test). Based on the descriptive analysis, the result of the average absorption of students in the class that applied the SQ4R learning model get the pretest score of 35.78% with the less good category and the posttest score of 64.22% with good enough category. While in the class that apply conventional learning get absorbed average class 38,48% with less good category at pretest score and 54,66% with category good enough at posttest score. The critical thinking ability of the classroom students applying the SQ4R learning model is in the moderate category with N-Gain 0.45 while the class applying the conventional learning is 0.27 with the low category. Based on inferential analysis through independent samples t-test obtained Sig value. (2-tailed) = 0.001 <0.05 which means there is a significant difference. The results of this study can be concluded that the use of SQ4R learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills in SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru on the material Momentum and Impuls.Keywords: Critical Thinking Skill, SQ4R (Survey, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review) Model

Abstract : Aims of this study is to find the learning result of students' formal thinking ability by applying cooperative learning model with course review horay type on momentum and impulse material in class X SMAN 1 Kuantan Mudik. This research was a quasi experimental research with non-Equivalent control group design. The population of this study was the students of class X MIA and the sample was the students X MIA 3 as the experimental class and the students of X MIA 2 as the control class. Data were obtained and cunducted through the test of the learning outcomes of formal thinking skills before and after applying course review horay model in the experimental class and conventional learning in the control class. Data analysis of this research was appliying a descriptive and inferential method. The results shows that the average score of absorption rate in the pretest of the applying cooperative learning model with course review horay class and conventional class is 39.54% and 40.46% with category of less effective. The average absorption rate in the applying cooperative learning model with course review horay class of posttest score and conventional class is 70.11% in effective category and 51.49% in quite effective category. The increase of students' formal thinking ability (N-Gain) in the applying cooperative learning model with course review horay class is 0.5 in the medium category and the conventional class is 0.17 in low category. T- Test tested obtained p = 0.000 it means p <0.05, then Ho is rejected which means there is a significant difference between the learning result of students' formal thinking ability physics by applying cooperative learning model with Course Review Horay type if compared than conventional learning on the material momentum and impulse at class X MIA SMAN 1 Kuantan Mudik. It can be concluded that the application of course review horay model can be used as an alternative in the learning process in class X MIA SMAN 1 Kuantan Mudik. Abstract: This research is aimed to produce a valid static fluid experiments device so it is can be used as a medium of Junior High School Science Physics Learning. The object of this study was an experimental device consisting of static fluid experimental tools and experimental guidebooks. The research data was obtained from the validation result by 3 lecturers of physics education program and 3 teachers of junior high school physics as validator. Validation is done through two stages, which is the validation phase I improvement and the validation phase II assessment. Data were analyzed descriptively to determine the value of the validity of experimental devices. The result of data analysis is obtained, the validation of experimental equipment evaluation 3,72 with very valid categories and the guidance book evaluation 3,66 with very valid categories. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that static fluid experimental device developed can be declared valid and it is suitable to be used as a Science physics learning media for Junior High School.Keywords: Development, Experiment Tool, Static Fluid.

The purpose of this study was to explore the contribution media based learning on traditional culture equipment on motivation and misconceptions of students. The method used is a quasi-experiment research was conducted in Kampar Junior High Schools of 121 students. Data Analysis that used is descriptive and inferential analysis. Based on the results of data analysis showed that the contribution of the media based learning on traditional culture equipment for increased motivation and to lower the misconception. This shows the media based learning on traditional culture-equipment can improve motivation and can reduce misconceptions of students.

This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of students process skills through the implementation of gas kinetic theory learning media based on the inquiry approach. The method that what used in this research is One Shot Case Study design. The subject of this research is class XI MIA 3 SMANegeri4Pekanbaru. An Instrument of the data collection wastest ofthe learning result of learning processskills. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis.The results showed the average absorption capacity of students process skills was in a good category at 74,95%. The level of process skills shows 81,25% of students have good basic skills, while the integrated skills are68,75%.It can be concluded that the implementation of learning media in the form of experimental devices based on the inquiry approach can improve the learning outcomes of studentâs process skills in the material of the kinetic theory of gas.

This study aims to develop a model learning tool for Susan Loucks-Horsley that is suitable to be used for Integrated science learning in junior high school grade VII semester 1, investigating the validity, practicality and effectiveness of learning tools in improving student learning outcomes of science materials. Research uses the method of Development Research four D models (definition, design, development, desimination). Learning tools developed in the form of Learning Implementation Plans, Student Learner Worksheets and Assessment Sheets.Data collection uses a validation sheet for learning tools for assessment of Learning Plans,Student Worksheets and Sheets Assessment., Assessment Sheet by experts and users; questionnaire to find out the practicality; observation sheets to observe student activities, and test learning outcomes to determine the effectiveness of the device. Data analysis was performed with quantitative descriptive techniques and different tests. The research was carried out only until the definition stage and design development of the Model Susan Loucks-Horsley learning tool in VII grade junior high school science in energy systems in living systems

The purpose of this study is to find the result of students cognitive through the implementation of gas kinetic learning media based on the inquiry approach of XI MIA 3 SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. This research form is pre-experimental with one shot case study method. The data of this study is studentâs cognitive score by the post-test . The analysis conducted on the studentâs cognitive learning outcomes in the form of study absorption, learning effectivity and the percentage of students pass of each tested indicator. The result obtained from this study are, from 36 students, 3 students have a very good study absorption, 23 have a good study absorption, 8 have a good study absorption, 1 has a less good study absorption and 1 fail. The learning effectivity is in a good category with a percentage of 69 ,4%. The conclusion is physics learning with inquiry approach goes well.

Abstract : This study aimed to describe and know that through the implementation of cooperative models Numbered Head Together (NHT) can increase students' interest in science learning in the classroom physics VIIIB MTs Diniyah Putri Pekanbaru on the material pressure. Research subjects in this study were all students in grade VIIIB MTs Diniyah Putri Pekanbaru 2014/2015 school year as many as 23 students. The research design is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The technique of collecting data is questionnaires and documentation techniques, data collected in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Descriptive analysis was obtained: 1) The interest of student learning in class VIIIB MTs Diniyah Putri Pekanbaru with the implementation of the cooperative model NHT in physics science learning is increased. 2) There is a change of physics students 'interest in science learning in the material pressure for 11.60% by using the implementation of the cooperative model NHT VIIIB class Diniyah Putri Pekanbaru, and inferential analysis results obtained are significant increase students' interest in science learning physics through the implementation of the cooperative model NHT VIIIB class MTs Diniyah Putri Pekanbaru.
