Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini berfokus kepada habitus orang tua kelas buruh bangunan dalam memberikan pengetahuan pada anak di Desa Tembung Pasar VII Beringin Gang Singkong Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Dalam latar belakang penulisan ini di lihat dari kebiasaan anak buruh bangunan dalam berbicara pada orang tua dan temannya dengan perkataan yang kotor dan kasar serta tidak patuh terhadap aturan yang di berikan orang tua akan membawa anak tersebut tumbuh dan berkembang menjadi calon buruh bangunan selanjutnya. Objek penelitian ini di lakukan di Desa Tembung Pasar VII Beringin Gang Singkong Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Sumber data yang diperoleh dari orang tua yang bekerja sebagai buruh bangunan tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa habitus yang diberikan orang tua kelas buruh bangunan dalam pengasuhan anak menanamkan anak tentang aspek nilai-nilai sosial dalam kehidupan yaitu, nilai perubahan nasib, dan nilai kepatuhan. Nilai-nilai tersebut dipengaruhi oleh faktor pekerjaan orang tua kelas buruh bangunan. Kata Kunci : Habitus Orang Tua, Buruh Bangunan, Nilai-nilai Sosial Kehidupan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengetahuan, Pemanfaatan serta kendala mahasiswa Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara mengenai e-journal sebagai sumber referensi dalam penulisan skripsi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah wawancara mendalam (indepth- interview), observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data melalui tiga tahapan yaitu, reduksi data, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di perpustakaan Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 8 informan yang terdiri dari 1 pustakawan dan 7 mahasiswa, dalam Pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang e-journal yang dilanggan oleh perpustakaan Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara, disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara kurang mengetahui adanya jurnal elektronik yang dilanggan oleh Perpustakaan UIN Sumatara Utara. Kemudian dalam hal Pemanfaatan mahasiswa Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara terhadap e-journal yang dilanggan oleh perpustakaan sebagai sumber referensi dalam penulisan skripsi adalah tidak memanfaatkan e-journal yang dilanggan, mahasiswa lebih sering memanfaatkan e-journal yang tidak dilanggan oleh perpustakaan dalam penulisan skripsi mereka. Selain itu, kendala yang dihadapi para mahasiswa dalam memanfaatan koleksi e-journal yang dilanggan oleh perpustakaan Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara, yaitu kurangnya sosialisasi kepada mahasiswa, koleksi E-Journal yang kurang lengkap, dan kendala e-journal berbahasa asing.

Abstract

This study discusses Children's Service Strategies in Fostering Children's Interest in Reading at the Binjai City Library and Archives Service. The goal to be achieved from this research is to find out how the child service strategy is in the Binjai City Library Service. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. By using data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The informants in this study were librarians at the Library Service who the researchers had chosen according to the criteria for research subjects.The results showed that the child service strategy carried out by librarians at the Binjai City Library Service was carried out using several child service activities in the form of reading tours, reading corner services for toddlers in Binjai City, mobile library services specifically for children, reading terrace services in Binjai City, collaboration with PKK mothers. and Promotions. Where the promotion is carried out using brochures and social media, namely Instagram.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas website perpustakaan Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara Medan menggunakan metode webqual 4.0 ditinjau dari 3 dimensi yaitu dimensi kemudahan pengguna, dimensi kualitas informasi dan dimensi kualitas interaksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan angket sebagai alat pegumpulan data yang diperoleh dari responden. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pengunjung website perpustakaan Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara Medan berdasarkan data pada bulan September-April 2022 sebanyak 3834 orang dengan sampel 97 orang yang ditentukan dengan rumus slovin. Teknik sampling yang digunakan untuk menentukan sampel adalah teknik sampling isidental yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel dengan mengandalkan keberadaan subjek untuk dijadikan sampel yaitu siapa saja yang secara kebetulan bertemu dengan peneliti dan dipandang cocok sebagai sumber data maka subjek tersebut dijadikan sampel. Hasil penelitian ini didapat bahwa kualitas website perpustakaan Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara Medan sudah sangat baik yaitu ditinjau dari kemudahan pengguna nilai presentase sebesar 94,1%. Dilihat dari aspek kualitas informasi dikatakan baik dengan nilai presentase sebesar 78,9%. Berdasarkan aspek kualitas interaksi juga disimpulkan bahwa kualitas layanan website perpustakaan Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara sangat baik dengan nilai presentase sebesar 82,2% yang mana ketiga dimensi tersebut sesuai dengan kualitas website menggunakan metode webqual 4.0

Abstract

This research aims to describe the perceptions of Sociology of Religion college students at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra towards victims of sexual violence at Indonesian universities. In general, perception is a person's way of looking at something. This research uses a quantitative descriptive type and approach. The population of this study was 281 Sociology of Religion college students at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra, with a margin of error of 10%, and a sample of 74 people. The sampling technique used is stratified random sampling. Questionnaires are a data collection technique with a perception measuring tool in the form of a Likert scale. The results of the research reveal that the perception of Sociology of Religion college students at the North Sumatra State Islamic University towards victims blaming for sexual violence in Indonesian universities is negative. Respondents are know victim blaming well, victim blaming is often found in cases of sexual violence, where women are the ones who are vulnerable to becoming objects of sexual violence. This is characterized by siding with victims of sexual violence, such as sympathy and empathy for victims, victims must receive protection, victims of violence do not deserve to be blamed, and justifying incidents of sexual violence as not being caused by the victim's behavior. Meanwhile, other neutral responses revealed that the way women dress and their body shape are the causes of sexual violence. This means that women who wear closed or open clothing both have the opportunity to become victims. Furthermore, neutral responses to victims of sexual violence always exaggerate the cases at hand. On the contrary, the news media tends to exaggerate so that it leads to opinion, which ends up making it difficult for the victim to reveal the case they are facing because of concerns about giving the victim a negative stigma.

Abstract

The role of a housewife who makes a living to meet economic needs and as we know since the existence of this pandemi in helping to make a living and meet household needs, which should be as we know that a housewife who should only work at home but they should take part in helping to make a living to meet economic needs which we know is very devastated economic life in Indonesia  which is not bad according to the Covid-19 pandemi because of the large number of workers' expenses due to the pandemi and that's where housewives take over to make a living which as we know that a woman or housewife is supposed to take care of the household but they have to participate in making a living. To find out how the multiple roles played by housewives to make a living in the era of the Covid -19 pandemic which aims to trigger conflicts that lead to gender equality. In this study, the authors used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and used interviews where the data collected was in the form of words, pictures, and not numbers. In that sense (Moleong 2017) in this study describes and understands the existence of events in society that are considered to belong to social deviations with a qualitative descriptive approach.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of Majelis Dzikir Wa Sholawat Ar-Raudah in social relations in Kelurahan Sidorejo, Medan Tembung District, Medan City. The general public usually views majelis dzikir from two sides, some who support it and some who see it as heretical. To obtain data, the method used is descriptive quantitative with writings that are described based on the results of observations, interviewus and documentation. The results obtained are that the role of the Majelis Dzikir Wa Sholawat Ar-Raudah is to carry out routine recitations, da'wah, blessed fridays, help orphans and the poor and become a place for learning islamic values ​​and teachings. The community views the dzikir assembly as a community that benefits the community and also considers it to deviate from islamic teachings.

Abstract

Apart from the six religions that were formalized in the country of Indonesia there are many beliefs, religious schools and ancestral religions believed by some residents of the city of Medan, one of which is Ahmadiyah which is a religious sect originating from Qadiran India, Ahmadiyah has several adherents in the city of Medan and belongs to the in the minority category. So, the formulation of the problem in this research is What is the Role of Ahmadiyya Figures in Preserving Ahmadiyya Adherents' Customs and Social Traditions in Medan City. The use of research forms in this study is qualitative research. In using descriptive research, the problem used as the formulation of the problem is included in the category worthy of being raised, namely the problem contains scientific value, is not too broad, the goal cannot be too broad and uses data that is factual not opinion. With data collection techniques that is conducting interviews, observation and documentation. The Role of Ahmadiyya Leaders in Preserving Customs and Social Traditions of the Ahmadiyya in Medan City There are several roles played by the Ahmadiyya religious leaders in preserving social customs and traditions, namely by respecting and following local government laws and mechanisms, both those based on positive law dan Islamic.

Abstract

This study discusses the social interaction of Muslim and Christian communities after the burning of a church in Pasar Sibuhuan Village. The purpose of this study was to find out how the social interaction between Muslim and Christian communities after the burning of a church occurred in Pasar Sibuhuan Village, Padang Lawas Regency. The research method in this research is descriptive qualitative, that is, this research intends to reveal the events that occurred in the field with the actual conditions experienced by the research subjects, for example the social interaction of Muslim and Christian communities in Pasar Sibuhuan Village, Padang Lawas Regency. Furthermore, data collection methods in this study were in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. In the research, the informants were Muslim and Christian communities in Pasar Sibuhuan Village. The results of this study show that the social interaction of Muslim and Christian communities in Pasar Sibuhuan Village leads to forms of associative interaction consisting of cooperation (gotong royong, mutual assistance, attending invitations) even though there has been an incident of burning a church in neighborhood VI of Sibuhuan Market. But there are still interactions that lead to dissociative ones consisting of conventions (loss of night patrols, loss of the culture of visiting neighbors on holidays, limited interaction).ABSTRAKPenelitian ini membahas tentang Interaksi sosial masyarakat Islam dan Kristen pasca terjadi peristiwa pembakaran Gereja di Kelurahan Pasar Sibuhuan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana interaksi sosial antara masyarakat Islam dan Kristen pasca terjadi pembakaran gereja di Kelurahan Pasar Sibuhuan, Kabupaten Padang Lawas. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yaitu penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengungkapkan peristiwa yang terjadi di lapangan dengan keadaan yang sebenarnya yang dialami oleh subyek penelitian misalnya interaksi sosial masyarakat Islam dan Kristen di Kelurahan Pasar Sibuhuan Kabupaten Padang Lawas. Selanjutnya metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian yang menjadi informan yaitu masyarakat Islam dan Kristen di Kelurahan Pasar Sibuhuan. Hasil Penelitian ini bahwa interaksi sosial masyarakat Islam dan Kristen di Kelurahan Pasar Sibuhuan mengarah kepada bentuk-bentuk interaksi asosiatif  terdiri dari  keja sama (gotong royong, saling membantu, menghadiri undangan) meskipun telah terjadi peristiwa pembakaran gereja yang berada di lingkungan VI Pasar Sibuhuan. Tetapi masih ada interaksi yang mengarah kepada yang disosiatif terdiri dari konravensi (hilangnya kegiatan ronda malam, hilangnya budaya mengunjungi tetangga pada saat hari-hari besar, interaksi terbatas).

Abstract

As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, wedding organizers face the problem of declining income turnover which makes them have to have a way to develop their business in the new normal period through marketing communication strategies. The purpose of this study is to find out how the marketing communication strategy in developing the Wedding Organizer business in the new normal period in the Ivora Organizer case study. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. The results of this study indicate that Ivora Organizer's marketing communication strategy activities use Instagram social media during the new normal period to develop their business. The conclusion of this research is that Ivora Organizer's marketing communication strategy in developing a wedding organizer business in the new normal is going very well, as can be seen from Ivora Organizer who already has his own place of business.
