Abstract

AbstractThis research is a classroom action research that aims to find out how to apply cooperative learning model talking chips type in class X MIA 3 SMAN 1 Bontomarannu on the subject matter of chemical bonding. This research was conducted in two cycles. The instrument used is the test of learning outcomes in the form of multiple choice questions as well as the activeness sheet of students. The collected data is then analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The results indicate that the steps in each phase of the learning model can improve the activities and learning outcomes of students. In cycle I the percentage of learning activities of students is 61.17% with the category quite active and the percentage of learning completeness of students is 46.67%. In cycle II the percentage of learning activities of students has increased to 86.09% with very active category and students' learning outcomes also increased with the percentage of complete is 83.33%. Keywords: Chemical bonding, Learning outcomes, Study activit, Talking chipsAbstrakPenelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara menerapkan langkah-langkah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe kancing gemerincing (talking chips) di kelas X MIA 3 SMAN 1 Bontomarannu pada materi pokok ikatan kimia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar berupa soal pilihan ganda serta instrumen lembar keaktifan peserta didik. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa langkah-langkah pada setiap fase model pembelajaran tersebut dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Pada siklus I persentase keaktifan peserta didik sebesar 61.17% dengan kategori cukup aktif dan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik sebesar 46.67%. Pada siklus II persentase keaktifan peserta didik mengalami peningkatan menjadi 86.09% dengan kategori sangat aktif dan hasil belajar peserta didik juga meningkat dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 83.33%.Kata Kunci: Ikatan kimia, Hasil belajar, Keaktifan belajar, Kancing gemerincing

Abstract

This study is development research, which aims at developing chemistry learning tools based on discovery learning with a contextual approach to the buffer solution which is valid, practical and effective. The development model employed in this study referred to 4D development model, which consisted of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The learning tools developed are RPP, LKPD, Student teaching materials, Media, and THB. The results of the study reveal that the learning tools based on discovery learning developed which had been validated indicates that the mean score is 3.58 which is in very valid criteria. The learning tools based on discovery learning is stated as practical and effective, because the results of the practically test reveal (1) the implementation of learning tools based on discovery learning is in the average of M = 1.74 in the category of (1.5 ≤ M ≤ 2.0) meaning that the aspects and criteria observed on the implementation of learning tools based on discovery learning is in entirely implemented category, (2) the teacher gave a very positive response on the learning tools based on discovery learning with the percentage of 91.61%, and (3) the students gave a very positive response on the learning tools based on discovery learning with the percentage of 87.36%. The learning tools is also met the criteria of effective with the following results that the learning outcomes has met effective criteria where the average score of 78.10 is obtained with the classical completeness 85.19. Therefore, the results of the study shows that the product of learning tools developed is categorized as valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

This study is a development research that aims to produce interactive media based on augmented reality in a valid, practical, and effective discovery learning model. The development model used is the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely the analysis stage, the design stage, the development stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The interactive media based on augmented reality that was developed was validated by two experts. Then, it was tested to 40 students in grade X MIA 7 at SMAN 16 Makassar. The results of the study reveal that the developed interactive media based on augmented reality meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The interactive media based on augmented reality is stated to be valid based on the results of validating interactive media based on augmented reality with an average value of the media expert and material expert of 3.78 and 3.77, which are in very valid category. The interactive media based on augmented reality is stated to be practical based on (1) the implementation of interactive media with an average total percentage of 96.56%, which is in very high category; (2) the teacher's response with an average score of 93.37%, which is in very practical category; and (3) the students’ responses with an average score of 89%, which is in very practical category. The interactive media is stated to be effective based on the results of the analysis of the learning outcomes test and analysis of learning motivation questionnaires with a class completeness percentage of 90% and an average value of the percentage of learning motivation assessment of 90%, which is in very high category. Therefore, the results of the study indicate that interactive media based on augmented reality in the discovery learning model has valid, practical, and effective qualities.

Abstract

This research is a development research that aims to develop and produce an acid- base E-Module with Project Based Learning (PjBL) integrated Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) which has valid, practical, and effective criteria. The development model used in the study refers to the ADDIE development model, which consists of the analisys stage, the design stage, the development stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The acid-base E-Module with PjBL integrated STEAM developed was validated by two experts. After being validated, the acid- base E-Module with PjBL integrated STEAM was  piloted  on students at grade X TKJ 1 at SMKN 9 Bulukumba of academic year 2021/2022 with 27 students. The results show that the acid-base E-Module with PjBL integrated STEAM developed had conducted a validation process, measuring the level of practicality and effectiveness. The E-Module is stated as valid based on the results of the E-Module validation with an average value of 3.42 (vaery valid). The E-Module is stated aspractical based on: (1) the implementation of the acid-base e-module based on problem-based learning at an average value of 1.9 (fully implemented), (2) the teacher's response with an average score of 97.12 (very practical), and (3) the students’ responses with an average score of 81.34 (very practical). E-module is stated as effective based on the results of the N-gain test of 0.76 (high) and classical completeness of 85.19%. Therefore, the results of the study indicate that the acid-base E-Module with PjBL integrated STEAM has valid, practical, and effective qualities. An outline summary of the acid-base E-Module with PjBL integrated STEAM contains a glossary, basic competencies, competency achievement indicators, instructions for using e- modules, concept maps,  learning activities 1, 2, 3, and  4,  evaluation  and answer keys.

Abstract

This study is a development research that aims to develop and produce high school chemistry learning tools in discovery learning model on acids and bases materials. The development model employed a 4-D model from Thiagarajan. The limited trial of learning tools in the discovery learning model was conducted at SMAN 6 Makassar with the research subject of grade XI MIPA 3 with 25 students. Data collection techniques were non-test and test techniques. The results of the study indicate that: (1) the process of developing learning tools employed a 4-D model which included 4 stages, namely: (a) the definitng stage (define), (b) the design stage, (c) the development stage (develop), and (d) the dissemination stage (disseminate); (2) the learning tools are valid, practical and effective. The learning tools have met the validity criteria including the RPP, LKPD, and THB, each of which is in valid category. The learning tools are stated as practical because the implementation of learning tools is in fully implemented category and the teacher and students’ responses to learning tools are in very practical category. The learning tools are stated as effective because they meet the effectiveness criteria. The results of the analysis of students' scientific attitudes are in very good category with 83.12% per meeting and increase to 83.47% at the end of the meeting, while the learning outcomes has classical completeness by 84%.

Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Makassar public university. (Supervised by Muhammad Danial and Taty Sulastry) This research is a pre-experimental study that aims to determine the effectiveness of Using Liveworksheets Media in the Discovery Learning Model on the Learning Outcomes of Class XI MIPA Students at SMA Negeri 1 Sendana in the Study of Acid-Base Materials. The research design used was a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study were students of class XI MIPA 3 SMAN 1 Sendana obtained by simple random sampling. This study uses descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis obtained the average learning outcomes before treatment of 33.88 and after treatment increased to 78.54 with an average normalized gain of 0.70 in the high category. The results of inferential statistical analysis on student learning outcomes showed that the data weren’t normally distributed so that the hypothesis test used was the Wilcoxon test with = 0.05. The results of this test obtained the value of zcount > ztable (12,99 > 1,96). Therefore, it can be concluded that using Liveworksheets on the Discovery Learning Model is effective in improving the learning outcomes of students in class XI MIPA 3 SMAN 1 Sendana on Acid-Base subject matter.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bersifat komparatif bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar peserta kelas X SMA Negeri 8 Model Bulukumba yang diajar menggunakan media file dokumen dan video tutorial berbasis Google Classroom pada model pembelajaran Direct Instruction materi pokok ikatan kimia. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 8 Model Bulukumba sebanyak 5 kelas, dan sampelnya adalah kelas X IPA 1 sebagai kelompok ekperimen I dengan jumlah peserta didik 30 orang dan kelas X IPA 2 sebagai kelompok ekperimen II dengan jumlah peserta didik 24 orang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah posttest-only control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu simple random sampling. Hasil analisis prasyarat statistik inferensial terhadap tes hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa data pada kelas ekperimen I dan kelas ekperimen II terdistribusi normal dan kedua kelas berasal dari populasi yang homogen. Hasil analisis inferensial menggunakan uji-t dengan α = 0,05 diperoleh thitung< –ttabel (-3,89 -2). Dapat disimpulkan H0 ditolak H1 diterima berarti ada perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 8 Model Bulukumba yang diajar menggunakan media file dokumen dan video tutorial berbasis Google Classroom pada model pembelajaran Direct Instruction materi pokok ikatan kimia. ABSTRACT This research is a comparative quasi-experimental research which aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes of class X SMA Negeri 8 Model Bulukumba students who are taught using document files and video tutorials based on Google Classroom in the Direct Instruction learning model on the subject matter of chemical bonds. The population in this study were all students of class X IPA SMA Negeri 8 Model Bulukumba as many as 5 classes, and the sample was class X IPA 1 as the experimental group I with 30 students and class X IPA 2 as the experimental group II with 24 of students. The research design used was posttest-only control group design. The sampling technique was simple random sampling. The results of the inferential statistical prerequisite analysis of the learning outcomes test show that the data in the experimental class I and experiment class II are normally distributed and both classes come from a homogeneous population. The results of inferential analysis using t-test with α = 0.05 obtained thitung< –ttabel (-3,89 -2). It can be concluded that H0 is rejected. H1 is accepted, which means that there are differences in the learning outcomes of students in class X SMA Negeri 8 Model Bulukumba who are taught using document files and video tutorials based on Google Classroom in the Direct Instruction learning model on the subject matter of chemical bonding.

Abstract

Penelitian eksperimen semu bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh metode two stay two stray dalam model inkuiri terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 17 Bone. Desain penelitian adalah posttest-only control design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 17 Bone yang terdiri dari 3 kelas. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu kelas X MIPA 2 kelas eksperimen dan kelas X MIPA 3 kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu simple random sampling. Variabel bebasnya adalah metode two stay two stray dalam model inkuiri terbimbing, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 17 Bone pada materi larutan elektrolit dan nonelektrolit. Instrumen penelitian yaitu tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk pilihan ganda dan lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Data hasil belajar yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil analisis deskriptif diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan rata-rata hasil belajar kelas kontrol. Hasil uji prasyarat statistik inferensial menunjukkan bahwa data kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol berasal dari populasi yang homogen tetapi kelas kontrol tidak terdistribusi normal, sehingga uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah uji non parametrik yaitu uji Mann-Whitney. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh metode two stay two stray dalam model inkuiri terbimbing dalam model inkuiri terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 17 Bone pada materi larutan elektrolit dan nonelektrolit

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 12 Bulukumba yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan model pembelajaran Problem Solving. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan model pembelajaran Problem Solving, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar siswa pada materi termokimia. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Posttest-Only Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA yang berjumlah 62 siswa yang terbagi dalam 2 kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu random sampling. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 dengan jumlah siswa 31 orang dan kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen 2 dengan jumlah siswa 31 orang. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan memberikan tes berupa tes akhir (posttest). Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah adalah 68.89 dan siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran problem solving adalah 63.24. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t diperoleh nilai ttabel = 2.00, pada taraf signifikansi 0.025 dengan dk 12.16 diperoleh thitung = 1.94. Oleh karena –t ( α, dk) ≤ thitung ≤ +t( α,dk), maka H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis masalah lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran Problem Solving ditinjau dari hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 12 Bulukumba pada materi pokok termokimia. ABSTRACT This research is an experimental research with quasi experimental which aims to know the difference of learning outcomes of XI grade students of SMAN 12 Bulukumba between those who learned by Problem-based Learning model and those who learned by Problem Solving learning model. The independent variables in this research are Problem based learning model and Problem Solving Learning Model, whereas the dependent variable is the learning outcomes of students on Thermochemistry. The research design used is Posttest-Only Design. The population of the research is the students of XI IPA that consists of 62 students divided into 2 classes. The sampling technique is random sampling. The sample of this research consists of 2 classes, those are XI IPA 1 as the 1st experimental class which consists of 31 students and class XI IPA 2 as the 2nd experimental class which consists of 31 students. The data result of the research obtained by giving final test (posttest). The data obtained then analyzed by using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The result of data analysis shows that the average of students learning outcomes in problem based learning model is 68.89 and in problem solving learning model is 63.24. The result of hypothesis testing by using t-test is shown by ttable = 2.00, with 0.025 and dk 12.16, then it obtains the score of tcount = 1.94. Thus, -t ( α, dk) ≤ tcount ≤ + t ( α, dk). So, H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected. This result shows that there is no difference in learning outcomes of students of XI IPA SMAN 12 Bulukumba on Thermochemistry as the subject matter thought by problem based learning model and problem solving learning model.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan metode quasy experiment yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media questions box dalam model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Palopo tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 pada materi pokok ikatan kimia. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Palopo yang terdiri dari delapan kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak. Kelas yang terpilih sebagai sampel penelitian yaitu kelas X MIA3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X IPA6 sebagai kelas kontrol yang masing-masing berjumlah 40 peserta didik. Kelas eksperimen diajar dengan menggunakan media questions box dalam model pembelajaran discovery learning sedangkan kelas kontrol diajar dengan model pembelajaran discovery learning tanpa menggunakan media questions box. Variabel bebas pada penelitian ini adalah media questions box dan variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar peserta didik. Pengambilan data hasil belajar dilakukan dengan pemberian pretest dan posttest. Data hasil belajar yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajara peserta didik kelas kontrol pada pretest dan posttest berturut-turut yaitu 35.8 dan 78.1 dengan rata-rata N-gain 0.644 dan kelas eksperimen yaitu 45.1 dan 83.1 dengan rata-rata N-gain 0.634. hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t diperoleh nilai thitung = 6.2 pada taraf kepercayaan 0.05 dengan dk=78 diperoleh ttabel = 1.2. Oleh karena itu thitung > ttabel artinya H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan pada media questions box menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. ABSTRACT This is a quasi-experiment research which is aimed to know the influence of media questions box in Discovery Learning towards students’ learning result of class X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Palopo in academic year 2019/2020 on chemical bond subject matter. The pre-test post-tests control group design was used in this research. The population of this study is the students of class X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Palopo consisting of eight classes. Class X MIA3 as experimental class and X MIA6 as the control class which each of them is 40 students which was determined randomly. The experimental class was taught by Discovery Learning model using media questions box while the control class is taught by Discovery Learning model without using media questions box. The independent variable in this study was the media questions box and the dependent variable is students' learning result. Retrieval of students' learning result data is done by giving pre-test and post-tests. The students' learning result data were analysed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of the analysis showed the average learning outcomes of control class learners in pre-test and post-tests were 35.8 and 78.1, respectively with 0.644 an average of N-gain and experimental class of 45.1 and 83.1 with 0.634 an average of N-gain. The results of hypothesis testing using t-test obtained tcount = 6.2 at the level of trust 0.05 with df = 78 obtained ttable = 1.2. Therefore tcount> ttable means H0 is rejected and H1 accepted. It shows that there is a significant influence on the media questions box using discovery learning model towards student's learning outcomes.
