Abstract

This research is a Chemo-Entrepreneurship (CEP)-based E-Module development research on colloidal material which aims to improve learning outcomes and interest in entrepreneurship for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Manokwari. This e-module was developed using the Lee & Owens development model which consists of five main stages, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The research subjects were 54 students in class XI IPA 1 and IPA 2. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used instruments: (1) teacher assessment questionnaires, (2) student response questionnaires, (3) interest in entrepreneurship questionnaires and (4) learning achievement tests. The results of this study indicate that this E-Module is "very valid" used to improve the learning outcomes of students in class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2. The average percentage increase in learning outcomes for both classes is 77.65%. This e-module can also be used to increase students' interest in entrepreneurship. The average percentage increase in interest in entrepreneurship is 16.5%.

Abstract

This development research aims to produce a valid, practical, and effective Instagram-assisted Discovery Learning-Based Acid Base E-module. The model used is the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages, namely the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The instrument used for validity test was E- module validation sheet, the practicality test employed teacher and students’ response questionnaire sheet, and the effectiveness test employed learning motivation questionnaire. The sources of validity data were two validators: the practicality used two chemistry teachers and students of grade XI MIPA 2 at SMA Frater Makassar with 32 people. The same method was also used to measure the effectiveness. E-module is declared to be valid based on validation results with a value of 3.87 (very accurate). E-module has met the criteria of practicality because the practicality test is related to (1) a positive teacher’s response questionnaire by 88.39% (very practical) and (2) a positive students’ responses 85.36% (very practical). E-module is stated to be effective based on the results of the learning motivation questionnaire obtained a change in the percentage of learning from 66.38% to 84% and an increase in learning motivation obtained by N-Gain, which is 0.58 (moderate category). Therefore, the results indicate that the Instagram-assisted Discovery Learning-based Acid-Base E-module has valid, practical, and effective qualities.

Abstract

This research is a development research that aims to develop and produce an acid- base E-Module with Project Based Learning (PjBL) integrated Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) which has valid, practical, and effective criteria. The development model used in the study refers to the ADDIE development model, which consists of the analisys stage, the design stage, the development stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The acid-base E-Module with PjBL integrated STEAM developed was validated by two experts. After being validated, the acid- base E-Module with PjBL integrated STEAM was  piloted  on students at grade X TKJ 1 at SMKN 9 Bulukumba of academic year 2021/2022 with 27 students. The results show that the acid-base E-Module with PjBL integrated STEAM developed had conducted a validation process, measuring the level of practicality and effectiveness. The E-Module is stated as valid based on the results of the E-Module validation with an average value of 3.42 (vaery valid). The E-Module is stated aspractical based on: (1) the implementation of the acid-base e-module based on problem-based learning at an average value of 1.9 (fully implemented), (2) the teacher's response with an average score of 97.12 (very practical), and (3) the students’ responses with an average score of 81.34 (very practical). E-module is stated as effective based on the results of the N-gain test of 0.76 (high) and classical completeness of 85.19%. Therefore, the results of the study indicate that the acid-base E-Module with PjBL integrated STEAM has valid, practical, and effective qualities. An outline summary of the acid-base E-Module with PjBL integrated STEAM contains a glossary, basic competencies, competency achievement indicators, instructions for using e- modules, concept maps,  learning activities 1, 2, 3, and  4,  evaluation  and answer keys.

Abstract

The study is quasi experiment research, which aims at examining the extend of the influence of practicum based on natural ingredients through discovery learning model on motivation and learning outcomes in UPT SMAN 9 Maros in Marusu subdistrict in Maros distric of academic year 2018/2019. The total of research population was 143 students with the samples 71 students. Sampling determining technique employed random sampling. Data were collected by using instruments with questionnaire and test. Data were analyzed by using SPSS software. The results of the study reveal (1) the practicum based on natural ingredients through discovery learning model gave positive on chemistry learning motivation in UPT SMAN 9 Maros with the mean percentage of 67.99%, which is in high category, (2) the practicum based on natural ingredients through discovery learning model gave improvement of chemistry learning outcomes in UPT SMAN 9 Maros with the mean percentage of 75.35%, which is in high category. (3) there is significant and positive correlation between motivation and chemistry learning outcomes in UPT SMAN 9 Maros with correlation analysis value of 0.661.
