Abstract

This article aims at examining and analyzing contextually and critically the understanding on hadith as a comparison study between orientalism and Occidentalism’s understanding. The hadith understanding both critically and contextually has been existed and will continuously exist doing by whoever included orientalist and occidentalist which is considered fair as long as its has high objectivity and fulfill scientific research standard to avoid bias and personal purpose. The objectivity and scientific standard are such as commitment, can be tested and verified, trusted, objectivity, and can be used in general. Hadith contextualizing or the effort to interpret hadith based on its context and time is important to be done to answer the dynamic and progressive social reality. Abstract

Humic acid is a compound of colloidal, amorphous, and complex aromatic polymer with functional groups of -COOH (carboxyl), -OH (phenol), and C = O (carbonyl). The presence of these functional groups provides a rationale for assuming that humic acids have a potential to produce phenolic, carboxylic and carbonylic compounds through cracking process. In this study the cracking was done by isolating humic acids from peat soil, and facilitated by a clay catalyst which had been activated. Humic acids were isolated by extracting the acids from the peat with NaOH and HCl. The characterization of humic acids included the determination of the ash content by gravimetric method and the analysis of the functional groups of humic acids by Infrared spectrometer (FTIR). The clay to be activated was shaped into two forms, pellets and 20-40 mesh granules. The clay was activated by immersing it in HCl and NH4NO3, and then calcined. The characterization of catalysts included the determination of acidity and the Si/Al ratio gravimetrically, as well as the analysis of the pore volume, maximum pore radius, surface area and average pore radius by Surface Area Analyzer NOVA-1000. Humic acid cracking was performed by a fixed-bed reactor system at a temperature of 400°C. The Liquid smoke, the product of cracking, was analyzed by GC and GC-MS to determine the number of compounds and major compounds contained in the liquid smoke. The results show that the isolated humic acid had ash content of 9.10%. Activated clay had acidity and Si/Al ratio higher than the clay before actifated.  Based on the analyses of GC and GC-MS it can be found out that the major compounds contained in liquid smoke, the product of humic acid cracking with 20-40 mesh catalyst at a temperature of 400°C were phenolic compounds (74.56%), and no carboxylic and carbonylic compounds as the major compounds. The activated clay can be used as the catalyst for humic acid cracking.Keywords: humic acid, catalyst, clay, cracking.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan nasabah PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Area Surabaya 2. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linear, uji validitas, reabilitas dan normalitas, serta uji hipotesis menggunakan uji T dan uji F yang nantinya data akan diolah menggunakan software Statistical Process Social Science (SPSS). Objek penelitian ini adalah nasabah PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Area Surabaya 2 yang berjumlah 100 orang sedangkan penentuan samplenya menggunakan teknik Non Probability Sampling dengan skala pengukuran Linkert 5 Point. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kualitas pelayanan dan tingkat kepuasan nasabah, hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil analisis Uji T dengan tingkat signifikansi positif sebesar 0,00 < 0,05 karena nilai p < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang menyatakan terdapat pengaruh positif kualitas pelayanan terhadap tingkat kepuasan nasabah. Serta hasil dari Uji F menunjukkan F Hitung (23,992) dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara variabel kualitas pelayanan dan kepuasan nasabah. Sehingga jika ditarik kesimpulan maka terdapat hubungan antara kualitas pelayanan dengan kepuasan nasabah pada PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Area Surabaya 2.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the unavailability of teaching materials module for students. This research is a research and development, which the aims to produce a product of teaching materials such as Literacy Al-Qur'an Module effectively and efficiently. The subjects of this study were 23 fifth grade students of SD Rogomulyo 02 Kaliwungu District and accompanied by two validation experts. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and test (Pretest and Posttest). The method for developing of literacy Al-Qur'an module uses Research and development steps developed by Borg and Gall. This steps are consist of 1) preliminary research, 2) product design, 3) validation, 4) product application, and 5) analysis.The results of this study indicate that, literacy al-Qur'an modules compiled by researchers, can improve learning achievement from the averages value of students above the KKM (Minimum completeness criteria). The conclusion is based on the processing of pre-test data of 64.52 and post-test of 77.86 using Paired Samples T-Test data resulting in an average correlation data of 0.806 and a significance value of 0,000. The results of the calculation of Paired Samples T-Test found the value of Sig. (2 tailed) is 0,000 Ë‚ 0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is an influence on using of literacy al-Qur'an module for students, it's proven any differences in the average between pre-test and post-test results of students or have comply the KKM (Minimum completeness criteria) in schools.

Abstract

This article discusses about argument of maslahah mursalah as a source of law. The focus of the study in this paper is a controversial idea between Imam Malik and Imam Shafi'i about maslahah mursalah as a source of law. Controversy thinking between both of them as a source of law. First, Imam Malik used maslahah mursalah as a source of law, but Imam Malik stressed the establishment of the law by taking the benefit and using the ratio, it must not controvert with the rule of law that has been set by nash or ijma '. If there is a controversy then it must precede nash than maslahat. Secondly, Imam Shafi'i did not use maslahah mursalah as a source of law because it did not have a definite standard of nash and qiyas, while Imam Shafi'i’s  establishment  is all of law must be based on nash as qiyas. Imam Shafi'i did not mention this method in his book, al-Risalah. This controversy caused by the absence of a special argumentation that declare about maslahah accepted by Syar'i either directly or indirectly.---Artikel ini mendiskusikan kehujjahan maslahah mursalah sebagai sumber hukum. Fokus kajian dalam tulisan ini adalah kontroversi pemikiran Imam Malik dengan Imam Syafi’i tentang maslahah mursalah sebagai sumber hukum. Kontroversi pemikiran antara keduanya tentang kehujjahan maslahah mursalah sebagai sumber hukum. Pertama, Imam Malik menggunakan maslahah mursalah sebagai sumber hukum, tetapi Imam Malik menekankan bahwa pembentukan hukum dengan mengambil kemaslahatan yaitu dengan menggunakan rasio tidak boleh bertentangan dengan tata hukum yang telah ditetapkan nash atau ijma’. Apabila terjadi pertentangan maka wajib mendahulukan nash dibandingkan maslahat. Kedua, Imam Syafi’i tidak menggunakan maslahah mursalah sebagai sumber hukum karena mashlahah mursalah tidak memiliki standar yang pasti dari nash maupun qiyas, sedangkan pendirian Imam Syafi’i semua hukum haruslah didasarkan nash atau disandarkan pada nash sebagaimana qiyas. Imam Syafi’i sendiri tidak menyinggung metode ini dalam kitabnya al-Risalah. Adanya kontroversi ini karena tidak adanya dalil khusus yang menyatakan diterimanya maslahah oleh Syar’i baik secara langsung maupun tidak.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Continuing Professional Development (PKB) program in the Teacher Working Group 016, Gringsing District, Batang Regency in 2023; to analyze the role of the madrasah head in supporting the implementation of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program in Teacher Working Group 016, Gringsing District, Regency in 2023. This study uses qualitative research with a type of phenomenology. The research subjects were in four MI, namely MI Islamiyah Yosorejo 01, MI Islamiyah Yosorejo 02, MI Islamiyah Kebondalem 01, and MI Islamiyah Kebondalem 02. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data condensation, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the research show that the Continuing Professional Development Program (CPD) in Teacher Working Group 016, Gringsing District, Batang Regency in 2023 consists of self-development programs, scientific publications, and innovative work programs which can be categorized as low. Some of the obstacles found included inflexible time, lack of knowledge, lack of outreach, lack of mentoring and guidance, etc.; The role of the madrasa head in supporting the implementation of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program in Teacher Working Group 016, Gringsing District, Batang Regency in 2023 includes the roles of educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, and motivator.

Abstract

The study aimed to answer how the Constructivism approach can improve students' learning outcomes of adding fraction material in fourth-grade students of Madrasah Ibtidayah Tukangan, Ampel District, Boyolali Regency, Academic Year 2015/2016. This Classroom Action Research was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle has four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The data collection methods used were post-test observation sheets and documentation. The findings of this study revealed that the implementation of the Constructivism Approach can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes in adding fractions. This increase occurred from the first, and second cycles with the results of the Pre-test and Post-test have increased. In the first cycle, the mean score of the pre-test was 61.67, while the post-test was 68.88. In the second cycle, the mean score of the pre-test was 75, and the post-test was 88.89. Therefore, the mean score of pre-test, and post-test was increased by 13.89 or 22.23%. The increase of the mean score on the Pre-test and Post-test showed that the Constructivism approach can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran berbasis elektronik atau digital bertujuan untuk menambah minat belajar siswa yang berdampak pada prestasi belajar siswa yang lebih baik, media pembelajaran digital juga lebih memudahkan siswa mengakses materi pembelajaran. Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Manbaul Ulum merupakan sekolah lanjutan pertama (SLTP) yang berada di Desa Mojopuro Gede Kecamatan Bungah Kabupaten Gresik Porvinsi Jawa Timur. Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran di MTs Manbaul Ulum perlu adanya pengembangan media belajar yang inovatif untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarkat ini bertujuan untuk membantu meningkatkan kompetensi guru di sekolah mitra dalam mengembangankan media pembelajaran berbasis android. Tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini terbagi dalam tahap persiapan dan tahap pelaksanaan, tahap persiapan terdiri dari studi literatur dan observasi lapangan di sekolah mitra untuk mendapatkan rumusan permasalahan dan penentuan solusi untuk sekolah mitra serta pembuatan modul yang sesuai kebutuhan. Pelaksanaan pelatihan dilakukan dengan ceramah oleh pemateri dan praktik oleh peserta. Peserta diminta untuk membuat media pembelajaran berbasis android sesuai dengan arahan dari pemateri. Pelatihan ini menghasilkan mendia pembelajaran berbasis android yang dibuat oleh peserta pelatihan yang dapat dijadikan modal oleh peserta dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis andorid.
