Abstract

The development of environment instructional media to increase the student’s responsibility of flooding problems which happen in Samarinda East Kalimantan. It is necessary because of flooding is a problem that is very common in Samarinda,The Student’s in Elementary School must have a responsibility early because of that it is important to development an instructional media which can make the right responsibility for this problem, in the second year of this research have the aim to know the effectivity of this media. There are two class, the first class is control and the other is experimental class with have the same ability, from the result of t - test we know that the probability of t -test is less than 0.05 it’s mean that there are the difference between control class and experiment class which instructional media used. The conclusion of this research is this instructional media have the effectivity for increase the responsibility of flooding problems

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sikap pemikiran kritis terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Universitas Mulawarman Mata Kuliah Anatomi Manusia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Uiversitas Mulawarman Samarinda dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 orang, yang terdiri atas dua kelas reguler A dan reguler B. Instrumen sikap pemikiran kritis diuji validitasnya dengan korelasi Pearson.Analisis data dari hasil penelitian ini dengan menggunakan teknik analisis varians (ANAVA). Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa uji hipotesis terhadap pengaruh sikap pemikiran kritis terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa  mata  kuliah  Anatomi  Manusia  dengan  F  hitung  sebesar  117,330  angka  ini  lebih  besar dibandingkan Ftabel sebesar 4,01.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh sikap pemikiran kritis terhadap hasil belajarmahasiswa program studi pendidikan biologi FKIP Universitas Mulawarman Samarinda.  Kata kunci: hasil belajar, sikap, pemikiran kritis, Mulawarman

Abstract

Formalin is a chemical toxic that is abused as a food preservative and prohibited by the Indonesian government. Thus, there is a need for continuous analysis of foodstuffs that are sold in the market. When food containing formaldehyde is consumed, it will interfere with the metabolism of organs and body systems. This study aimed to analyze the presence and absence of formalin content on Kolang Kaling (Arenga pinnata Merr) and Black Grass Jelly (Mesona palustris BL) sold in Samarinda City Traditional Market, especially Segiri market, Pagi market, and Sungai Dama market. The test of formalin content was performed qualitatively using chromatophilic acid and continued quantitatively using UV-Vis spectrophotometry at the Biochemical MIPA laboratory. The results showed that 9 samples from 18 samples were identified using formalin as a preservative. The levels of formalin obtained were different, the lowest formalin level of 0.0240 mL / L in the Cincau samples (Mesona palustris BL) obtained in the Segiri market and the highest formalin level of 0.0531 mL / L in the kolang kaling sample (Arenga pinnata Merr) obtained on the Pagi market.

Abstract

Online learning is extremely common during the Covid-19 pandemic. That sudden alteration, from offline to online learning affect the learning process including the perception of students and teachers using online learning platform. The aims of this study are to determine the students’ perceptions of class XI MIA on online biology learning by using Madrasah E-Learning at MAN Penajam Paser Utara. The data was collected by conducting the observations, interviews and questionnaires. The questionnaire was in Likert scale form that has been valid and reliable (ralpha= 0, 836) with a very strong category. The indicators that were studied include the indicators of student activity, indicators of student perceptions of Madrasah E-Learning and the indicators of factors that affect learning in network (online). Descriptive statistical techniques were the data analysis technique that was used in the form of descriptive, frequency distribution and percentage. The results showed that the activity based on the attendance and collection of student assignments during online biology learning was in the good category. Students' perceptions of Madrasah E-Learning are in very positive category with 63.89%. However, the use of Madrasah E-Learning is still not effective due to network constraints and the lack of teacher skills and knowledge regarding the use of Madrasah E-Learning features. The factors that influence learning in the network include learning support facilities such as cellphones and laptops, network factors and internet quotas, motivational factors, learning interest factors, family factors, home atmosphere factors, environmental factors, and economic factors

Abstract

Analysis of Microplastic Content in Fish Digestive Tracts at PPI Selili Samarinda, East Kalimantan. The aim is to determine the type of microplastic content in marine fish at PPI Selili Samarinda. The type of research is qualitative research with analytical descriptive methods. The samples used were flying fish (Decapterus spp.), milkfish (Chanos chanos), white tuna (Thunus sp.), red snapper (Lutjanus sanguineus), and white trevally (Caranx sexfasciatus). The indicators of microplastics used in this research are the results of identifying microplastics based on shape and size. The research results showed that the fish samples contained microplastic particles including fiber, fragments, film and monofilament, with the fiber type being the most dominant. In flying fish (Decapterus spp.) the size of microplastics ranges from 768.28µm - 1,175.85µm for fiber type, 421.85µm - 955.89µm for fragment type, 812.45µm- 1,102.79µm for film type, and 1,592.59µm for monofilament type. Milkfish (Chanos chanos) ranges from 686.89µm - 814.95µm for fiber type, 267.79µm - 814.46µm for fragment type, 296.25µm - 755.70µm for film type, and 1,310.46µm - 1,374.86µm for monofilament type. White tuna (Thunus sp.) ranges from 457.41µm - 1,149.24µm for fiber type, 305.04µm - 601.01µm for fragment type, 374.74µm for film type, and 1,175.66µm for monofilament type. Red snapper (Lutjanus sanguineus) ranges from 408.02µm - 642.05µm for fiber type, 714.9µm - 804, 47µm for fragment type, 514.01µm - 852.96µm for film type, and 639.88µm - 1,196.88µm for monofilament type. White pompano (Caranx sexfasciatus) ranges from 535.63µm - 671, 82µm for fiber type, 205.23µm - 764.04µm for fragment type, 761.73µm - 783.88µm for film type, and 617µm for monofilament type. Analisis Kandungan Mikroplastik pada Saluran Pencernaan Ikan di PPI Selili Samarinda Kalimantan Timur. Bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis kandungan mikroplastik pada ikan laut di PPI Selili Samarinda. Jenis penelitiannya penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitis. Sampel yang digunakan ikan layang (Decapterus spp.), ikan bandeng (Chanos chanos), ikan tongkol putih (Thunus sp.), ikan kakap merah (Lutjanus sanguineus), dan ikan kuwe putih (Caranx sexfasciatus). Indikator dari mikroplastik yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu hasil identifikasi mikroplastik berdasarkan bentuk dan ukuran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sampel ikan mengandung partikel mikroplastik diantaranya berjenis fiber, fragmen, film dan monofilament, dengan jenis fiber yang paling mendominasi. Pada ikan layang (Decapterus spp.) ukuran mikroplastik berkisar 768,28µm - 1.175,85µm untuk jenis fiber, 421,85µm - 955, 89µm jenis fragment, 812,45µm- 1.102,79µm jenis film, dan 1.592,59µm jenis monofilament. Ikan bandeng (Chanos chanos) berkisar 686,89µm - 814,95µm jenis fiber, 267,79µm - 814,46µm jenis fragment, 296,25µm - 755,70µm jenis film, dan 1.310,46µm - 1.374,86µm jenis monofilament. Ikan tongkol putih (Thunus sp.) berkisar 457,41µm - 1.149,24µm jenis fiber, 305,04µm - 601, 01µm jenis fragment, 374,74µm jenis film, dan 1.175,66µm jenis monofilament. Ikan kakap merah (Lutjanus sanguineus) berkisar 408,02µm - 642,05µm jenis fiber, 714,9µm - 804, 47µm jenis fragment, 514,01µm - 852,96µm jenis film, dan 639,88µm - 1.196,88µm jenis monofilament. Ikan kuwe putih (Caranx sexfasciatus) berkisar 535,63µm - 671, 82µm jenis fiber, 205,23µm - 764,04µm jenis fragment, 761,73µm - 783,88µm jenis film, dan 617µm jenis monofilament.

Abstract

A module is an educational material or learning tool that includes teaching materials, methods, and assessments that are developed in a systematic and structured manner to achieve expected competency goals. The aim of this study is to develop a valid, practical and effective mangrove module based on ethnoscience on biodiversity. The type of research is R&D which refers to the ADDIE method developed by Mayfield. Data collection techniques consist of expert verification, observations, tests, questionnaires, and interviews. The results of the study show that, this module was developed based on the manual previously used by SMA IT Darul Hikmah Bontang students to learn biology. The module validity result for the module is 99%, which is in the very valid category. The material validity result of the module was in the very reasonable category at 84.69%. The linguistic validity result of the module was 73.6% in the valid category. The results of the student survey regarding the practicality of the module were 88.65%, which fell into the very practical category. The effectiveness module in improving student’s critical thinking ability and environmental awareness have n-gain values ​​are 0.55 and 0.44. It can be concluded that the development of the ethnoscience-based mangrove module in the intermediate category has been effectively used to improve the critical thinking skills of the students of SMA IT Darul Hikmah Bontang.

Abstract

Environmental literacy is a learning approach that utilizes the environment as a learning resource. This approach connects the environment in teaching and learning activities where the environment acts as a learning resource. Based on the results of the analysis in previous research, the researcher knows that the condition of the ability or literacy level of the student's environment is still classified as medium and low. There is still a low and moderate level of student environmental literacy, so efforts are needed to develop environmental literacy. Researchers assume that the development of these abilities can be built with teaching materials based on environmental literacy. This teaching material is used in Hybrid environmental pollution courses using MOLS (Mulawarman Online Learning System). This research is a type of development research with the ADDIE procedure or model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research was conducted at FKIP Mulawarman University for approximately 7 months. Starting from conducting environmental literacy tests to developing teaching materials in the environmental literacy domain. Based on the results of the material expert validation it is known that teaching materials get a feasibility score of 92.10%, and from the validation results the media experts get a score93.75%. So it can be concluded that the teaching materials developed in the domain of environmental literacy are very worth it to be used as a learning media.Keywords: Hybrid Teaching Materials, Environmental Pollution, Environmental Literacy, the ADDIE model.

Abstract

Sembung rambat (Mikania micrantha Kunth) merupakan tumbuhan yang memiliki pertumbuhan invasif yang sulit dikendalikan dan dapat merusak ekosistem lingkungan alami. Upaya pengendalian sembung rambat (Mikania micrantha Kunth) dengan memanfaatkannya sebagai pupuk organik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji kandungan unsur hara pada tumbuhan sembung rambat (Mikania micrantha Kunth) dan mengetahui kadar unsur hara pada tumbuhan sembung rambat (Mikania micrantha Kunth). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Tanah Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Mulawarman. Sampel yang diteliti terdiri dari tumbuhan sembung rambat (Mikania micrantha Kunth) yaitu daun (100 gram), batang (100 gram) dan akar (100 gram). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tumbuhan sembung rambat (Mikania micranthaKunth) pada daun, batang dan akar memiliki kandungan unsur hara makro dan mikro yang berpotensi sebagai pupuk organik. Kandungan unsur hara makro pada daun terdiri dari C-Organik 46,34%, N 4,32%, P 0,31%, K 1,48%, Ca 0,58%, Mg 0,25% dan Na  0,22%, batang yaitu C-Organik 48,4%, N 1,57%, P 0,26%, K 1,92%, Ca 0,15%, Mg 0,09% dan Na 0,25%, dan akar yaitu C-Organik 19,04%, N 2,22%, P 0,26%, K 2,38%, Ca 0,31%, Mg 0,19% dan Na 0,32%. Kandungan unsur hara mikro pada daun terdiri dari Fe 0,07%, Mn 28,14 mg∕kg, Cu 17,90 mg∕kg dan Zn 49,13 mg∕kg, batang yaitu Fe 0,08%, Mn 13,32 mg∕kg, Cu 76,1 mg∕kg dan Zn 11,38 mg∕kg, dan akar yaitu Fe 1,09%, Mn 80,56 mg∕kg, Cu 24,75 mg∕kg dan Zn 52,64 mg∕kg.Kata Kunci: Pupuk organik, Sembung rambat (Mikania micrantha Kunth), Unsur hara

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh kombinasi ekstrak daun Bandotan (Ageratumconyzoides L.) dan daun Kersen (Muntingia calabura L.) terhadap intesitas serangan serangga hama padatanaman Tomat (Lycopersicum esculentum). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen yangdilaksanakan di desa Kabupaten Kutai Barat, Kecamatan Linggang Bigung, Kampung Linggang Bigung, JalanKenanga RT. 003. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK), dengan 5 perlakuan yaituT0 (control), T1 (30%), T2 (60%), T3 (90%), dan T4 (120%) 5 kali pengulangan. Tehnik pengambilan datayang digunakan adalah One Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) satu arah. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan 28 HST, dimana Fhitung (71.04) > Ftabel (4.77). Pada 35 HST, Fhitung (44.31) >Ftabel (4.77), pada 42 HST dimana Fhitung (22.49) > Ftabel (4.77), pada 49 HST dimana Fhitung (16.37) > Ftabel (4.77)dan pada 56 HST dimana Fhitung (33.04) > Ftabel (4.77). Sehingga konsentrasi yang paling efektif dalam menekanserangan serangga hama adalah konsetrasi T4 (60%). Berdasarkan analisis data terdapat pengaruh sangat nyatapada pemberian kombinasi ekstrak daun bandotan (Ageratum conyzoides L.) dan daun kersen (Muntingiacalabura L.) terhadap intesitas serangan serangga hama pada tanaman tomat (Lycopersicum esculentum)varietas servo

Abstract

Efektivitas Pemanfaatan Media Youtube dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia kelas VIII F SMP Negeri 27 Samarinda Semester 2 Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Kemampuan hasil belajar kongnitif siswa kelas VIIIF yang masih rendah menjadikan peneliti tertarik untuk memanfaatkan media youtube sebagai media belajar sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan ingin mengetahui efektifitas pemanfaatan media youtube dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas VIII F SMP Negeri 27 Samarinda. Hasil analisis data belajar kongntif siswa dengan teknik tes setelah memanfaatkan media Youtube dalam proses belajar terdapat empat aspek kemampuan kongnitif siswa yang dicapai yaitu kemampuan mengingat 77%, kemampuan memahami 77%, kemampuan visualisai 71%, dan kemampuan penerapan konsep 87%. Berdasarkan persentase dari aspek kemampuan kongnitif siswa kelas VIIIF dapat disimpulkan bahwa media youtube efektif digunakan pada saat proses pembelajaran dan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa hal ini dilihat dari nilai rata-rata kelas yang meningkat dari 43,3 menjadi 70,4 maka dapat dikatakan bahwa pemanfaatan media Youtube dalam proses belajar siswa kelas VIII F efektif dalam menigkatkan hasil belajar.
