Abstract

Result of research indicate that at level of significanti 5%, (1) machine rotation have an effect on significant to gas emission throw away HC with percentage of contribution 98,90%. Where its tendency of machine rotation excelsior hence gas emission throw away  HC progressively. Gas emission throw away  the lowest HC obtained by rotation 2200 that is 153 ppm. (2) Machine rotation have an effect on significant to gas emission throw away CO with percentage of contribution 91,60%. Where its tendency of machine rotation excelsior hence gas emission throw away CO progressively. Gas emission throw away the lowest CO obtained by rotation 1800 that is 0,20%. Abstract

The energy crisis has stimulated scientists to begin developing the concept of zero energy building through residual energy conservation and turn it into something useful, One of them is the use of ethanol in PEM fuel cells are obtained through distillation. To change the temperature Ethanol and can be destilled, will be designed heat exchanger that has a function : raising the temperature of ethanol in order to evaporates with intermediate high temperature water, and then lowering the temperature back pure ethanol with low-temperature water heat convection. ‘Spiral Tube In Pipe’heat exchanger is designed to transfer heat that brought by ethanol with the temperature  80 C  to the cooling water in a spiral tube wrapped with a pipe. Hopefully, through this method can achieve maximum heat transfer value, with low cost on ethanol output temperature 35 C. The basic principles in the development of this heat exchanger are the achievement of maximum heat transfer, Simple in design  and economic value.Tube material made of copper wich has good conduction coefficient. Water pipes made ​​of PVC plastic gutter is easily available and cheap. Minimum pipe size is designed to be more flexible, easily placed anywhere and is simple to maintain. In this paper also included a CFD simulation to determine the flow characteristics that occur along the copper tube. Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran contextual teaching and learning (CTL). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran CTL pada mata pelajaran pekerjaan dasar teknik otomotif di SMK Negeri 1 Pariaman. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X TBSM dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 29 orang. Hasil belajar siswa sebelum tindakan nilai rata-rata 69.65 dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 51.72% , nilai rata-rata 69.79 dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 68.96% pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata 76.68 dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 82.75% pada siklus II, dan nilai rata-rata 80.27 dengan persentase sebesar 86.20% siswa yang tuntas pada siklus III.

Abstract

Adanya perubahan pola pembelajaran tatap muka ke pembelajaran online berbasis IT selama pandemi covid-19, telah menyebabkan kebiasaan baru (new normal) terhadap proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan Persepsi Siswa Terhadap Pelaksanaan Proses Belajar Mengajar Berbasis IT Dalam Kondisi Pandemi Covid-19 Di SMK Negeri 1 Sumatera Barat. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penelitian Kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, dengan bantuan program komputer (IBM SPSS Statistic 26). Penelitian terdiri dari tiga variabel yaitu teknologi. Individu dan lingkungan, dimana hasil penelitian mengungkapkan persepsi siswa terhadap kemampuan dan dukungan teknologi dalam mendukung pembelajaran online berada pada kategori baik, penilaian siswa terhadap kemapuannya dalam mengikuti pembelajaran berbasis IT berada pada kategori baik, dan selanjutnya persepsi siswa terhadap dukungan lingkungan dalam membantu mengikuti pembelajaran berbasis IT berada kategori cukup. Interprestasi dari ketiga variabel berada pada kategori baik. Hasil uji validitas setiap butir pernyataan dinyatakan valid karena r hitung setiap pernyataan > r tabel (table r product moment) dan uji reliabilitas dinyatakan reliabel karena r hitung > r tabel

Abstract

One of the parameters of exhaust emission testing on diesel engines is the level of smoke opacity. If the opacity is high then the emission quality is bad. The instrument for measuring smoke opacity is called Smoke Opacity Meter. The commonly used basic concept to measure smoke density is by utilizing a light sensor (optical sensor). Development of Smoke Opacity Meter applies the concept of Digital Image Processing. Even though it has initially begun, the measurement result is yet as perfect as Optical Sensor Concept. Therefore, this paper describes on how to implement the Digital Image Processing Method in processing the smoke opacity video data.

Abstract

Pada umumnya lampu sein pada sepeda motor dikendalikan secara manual. Dan tidak seperti pada mobil yang secara mekanis dapat mematikan lampu sein setelah mobil berbelok, lampu sein sepeda motor sering terlihat masih hidup meskipun sepeda motor sudah berbelok. Hal ini biasanya disebabkan oleh kelalaian pengendara. Pada artikel kali ini dijelaskan bagaimana mendesain sebuah logika kendali dengan menggunakan metode Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan yang akan mematikan lampu sein secara otomatis melalui beberapa kondisi tertentu. Metode kontrol jaringan syaraf tiruan yang digunakan adalah Backpropagation yang dikembangakan dan diuji simulasi dengan MATLAB 2017a. Pembelajaran pada jaringan Backpropagation dilakukan untuk mendapatkan bobot jaringan yang sesuai kemudian bobot tersebut digunakan untuk logika kontrol. Dari pengujian terbukti bahwa Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan Backpropagation dengan 2 neuron hidden layer dapat digunakan untuk logika kontrol dalam mengendalikan lampu sein sesuai dengan kondisi yang diinginkan dengan tingkat akurasi 100%.

Abstract

This article discusses a comparison of the hardness of several valve brands for automatic motorbikes. This research used comparative study method. The motorbike used was the Honda VARIO 110 cc motorcycle. Meanwhile, the valves used and compared are Honda Genuine Parts and several brands of aftermarket valves. The results showed that the hardest intake valve head was the Genuine Valve with 61.7 HRA and the hardest exhaust valve head was the NPP with 58.9 HRA. Artikel ini membahas mengenai perbandingan kekerasan beberapa merek katup untuk sepeda motor matic. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian komparatif. Sepeda motor yang digunakan adalah Sepeda Motor Honda VARIO 110 cc. Sementara untuk katup yang digunakan dan diperbandingkan adalah Honda Genuine Parts dan beberapa merk Katup aftermarket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan payung katup masuk yang paling keras yaitu payung katup Original 61,7 HRA dan payung katup buang yang paling keras yaitu payung katup NPP 58,9 HRA.

Abstract

Many can be used to improve the quality of teachers, among others, the implementation of Classroom Action Research (PTK). Quality of education will increase if teachers have an compose a pediagogic, personality, competence, and professional competency. PTK is the most appropriate step to improve the quality of learning. This quality improvement will positively affect teachers and student. For teachers, PTK is a reflective action over the learning that it does. All this time, the teacher is still considered and assumes his or her other resources out of less effort to improve the model and the learning model used. By performing the PTK, the teacher will know the actual condition that he or she faces. The workshop participants were provided with knowledge about the aspects of PTK also in the preparation of a good PTK and hope that they could provide refreshment to teachers relating to the PTK, so that the teachers could do the research as well as to solve the problem of the teaching process they lead. In addition, the objective is also to stimulate teachers to produce a written article published in the field of education. In the case of the service to the community this teacher is directly guided so as to be able to make the PTK in a separate, multi-disciplinary. From the activities undertaken by the team found a very significant improvement in terms of understanding of teachers in preparing the PTK. This is obtained from the pre test (question and answer) conducted ahead of the activity and post test post activities. Although there is a significant increase in understanding, there is still a need for teachers' independence and intuition in understanding the compilation of PTK more deeply. The community service team provides wide access for workshop participants to communicate both orally and through social networking so that the competence can be developed. In addition, the team devotion to the community also provides modules and literature that can be used as a reference in the preparation of PTK. This experimental research used survey method by distributing questionnaires to respondents with different subject expertise.The results showed that the use of ICTs in learning process has not been implemented optimally. This is caused by the low competence of teachers in the sector of information and communication technology. In addition, the lack of ICT infrastructure in schools causes a deceleration in the development of ICT-based learning models. Comprehensive improvement need to be implemented so that the development of ICT-based learnings model can be performed. The results of this study are expected to provide positive feedback to improve the quality of Indonesian education.

Abstract

The use of oxygen sensors on vehicles intended to reduce the harmful content from vehicle exhaust emissions. Research and journal was prepared to find how much reduction can be achieved. Research conducted by the experimental method. This type of machine used is K3-VE engine Avanza. Measurements are performed using the exhaust emission analyzer Fourgas at some level of engine speed.        From the research proven when using oxygen sensors decrease harmful content of exhaust emissions. The decline in the percentage of the CO content of 1.86% and the average number of HC ppm reduced the total 258.33ppm.

Abstract

Sensor merupakan bagian tak terpisahkan dari bidang ilmu elektronika. Teknologi sensor dalam perkembangannya banyak dimanfaatkan di berbagai bidang kehidupan, termasuk bidang otomotif. Bahkan perkembangan teknologi otomotif saat ini mengarah pada penggunaan sensor dan aktuator yang dipadu dengan fungsi unit pengaturan elektronis (ECU). Bagi sebagian besar peserta didik jurusan/bidang otomotif, pengetahuan tentang sensor merupakan hal yang baru. Pemahaman dasar-dasar sebuah teknologi mutlak diperlukan sebelum berlanjut ke tahap pembahasan yang lebih luas dan kompleks. Sehubungan dengan dua hal di atas maka dirasa perlu untuk mengembangkan sebuah metode pembelajaran tentang sensor  yang praktis, efisien dan dekat dengan teknologi otomotif agar peserta didik dari jurusan/bidang otomotif mampu dengan cepat memahami dasar-dasar dari sensor.   Jurnal ini mengungkapkan hasil penelitian yang telah berhasil mengembangkan peraga sensor ketukan. Sensor tersebut merupakan salahsatu sensor penting dalam bidang otomotif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Riset dan Development.
