Abstract

Abstract: This development research: the goal is to produce Indonesia language learning materials to hone writing skills-speak a decent poem used in terms of contents, systematics, the use of language, and display, as well as test their effectiveness. As for this typeo of researcho is researcho developmento with 4D model (four D model).  Basedo ono theo resultso of theo analysis, it waso foundo (1) test results of expert writing materials-talking rhymes, feasible and can be implemented to students and (2) the effectiveness of the use of test results revealed effective learning materials to improve the skills of write-speak poetry by madihin creative performance.Abstrak: Tujuanopenelitianpengembanganoinioadalahmenghasilkanbahanajaro bahasa Indonesia untuk mengasah keterampilan menulis-berbicara syair yang layak digunakan dari segi isi, sistematika, penggunaan bahasa, dan tampilan, serta menguji keefektifannya. Adapun jenispenelitianyang digunakanadalah penelitiano pengembangandengan model 4D (four D model). Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa (1) hasil uji ahli bahan ajar menulis-berbicara syair layak dan dapat diimplementasikan kepada siswa dan (2) hasil uji efektivitas penggunaan bahan ajar dinyatakan efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis-berbicara syair dengan performansi madihin kreatif.

Abstract

ABSTRACTEvaluation in writing is one of the efforts in improving competence in writing, in addition to planning teaching programs based on the writing process. However, evaluation in writing is not intended to improve students' understanding in writing, even writing is seen as a straightforward product, not produced through a repetitive process. Therefore, this study aims to produce a product in the form of an explanatory text writing evaluation tool based on a process approach. By using the ADDIE development model, it was designed an evaluation tool according to the writing process carried out by students in addition to paying attention to the task environment and long-term memory of students. The writing process is used as a reference in developing evaluation tools, ranging from planning, translation (developing ideas and ideas), and reviewing (evaluation and revision). Planning becomes the initial stage for students to gather ideas and generate memory by writing a writing framework in the form of a mind map. Translation is an effort to develop the writing framework into explanatory text by taking into account the linguistic structure and rules of the text. Review in the form of evaluating or evaluating the written text, then revising according to the writing criteria. The writing process that is done in stages is complemented by hard think-aloud procedures so students can asking the question to themselves to monitor writing activities. Keywords: evaluation tools, explanatory text, a process approach  ABSTRAKEvaluasi dalam menulis menjadi salah satu upaya dalam meningkatkan kompetensi dalam menulis, selain merencanakan program pengajaran yang berbasis proses dalam menulis. Akan tetapi, evaluasi dalam menulis dilakukan tidak bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik dalam menulis, bahkan tulisan dipandang sebagai produk yang langsung jadi, bukan dihasilkan melalui proses yang berulang. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa alat evaluasi menulis teks eksplanasi berbasis pendekatan proses. Dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE, dirancang alat evaluasi  sesuai proses menulis yang dilakukan peserta didik di samping memperhatikan lingkungan tugas dan memori jangka panjang peserta didik. Proses menulis yang dijadikan acuan dalam mengembangkan alat evaluasi, mulai dari perencanaan, penerjemahan (mengembangkan ide dan gagasan), dan peninjauan kembali (evaluasi dan revisi). Perencanaan menjadi tahapan awal bagi peserta didik untuk mengumpulkan gagasan dan membangkitkan memori dengan cara menulis kerangka tulisan dalam bentuk peta pikiran. Penerjemahan menjadi upaya untuk mengembangkan kerangka tulisan menjadi teks eksplanasi dengan memperhatikan struktur dan kaidah kebahasaan teks. Peninjauan kembali dalam bentuk menilai atau mengevaluasi teks yang ditulis, lalu dlakukan revisi sesuai kriteria penulisan. Proses menulis yang dilakukan secara bertahap ini dilengkapi dengan prosedur berpikir keras (think aloud) sehingga peserta didik dapat bertanya kepada dirinya sendiri untuk memantau aktivitas menulis yang dilakukan. Kata Kunci: Alat evaluasi, teks eksplanasi, pendekatan proses

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the process of learning to write narrative essays, assessment for learning conducted by teachers, and students' ability to write narrative essays. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the research on the process of learning to write narrative essays were carried out well. Assessment for learning conducted by teachers includes the use of effective questioning methods, active feedback between teachers and students, feedback on student work, and student revision of narrative essays. The students' overall ability to write narrative essays is very good.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran menulis karangan narasi, penilaian pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru, dan kemampuan menulis karangan narasi siswa kelas V SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil proses pembelajaran menulis karangan narasi terlaksana dengan baik. Penilaian pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru meliputi penggunaan metode tanya jawab yang efektif, umpan balik aktif antara guru dan siswa, umpan balik hasil kerja siswa, dan revisi karangan narasi siswa. Kemampuan siswa dalam menulis karangan narasi secara keseluruhan sangat baik.

Abstract

This study aims to find out (1)  reading literacy ability, (2)  achievement in Indonesian language learning, and (3) correlation between reading literacy ability and achievement in Indonesian language learning in Grade X. This research uses a quantitative approach of a correlational research type. The results of this study indicate that (1) the score rate of reading literacy ability of  students is 78.3 (good), (2) the score rate of achievement in Indonesian language learning  is 81,7 (good), and (3) there is a significant correlation between reading literacy ability and achievement in learning Indonesian language in Grade X.

Abstract

The concept of eco-poetic develops in line with changes in the perspective andawareness of poets on the environment. The poet's interaction with nature in thecreative process inspired the selection of learning strategies and learning to writepoetry. This study aims to develop a strategy to use the natural environment as asource of learning to write poetry. The results of the implementation show that thestrategy that departs from natural environment observation activities is effective inwriting natural poetry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi stereotip tak umum perempuan dalam novel Di Balik Kerling Saatirah karya Ninik M. Kuntarto, memaparkan unsur aporia dalam novel Di Balik Kerling Saatirah karya Ninik M. Kuntarto, dan memaparkan konstruksi baru dalam novel Di Balik Kerling Saatirah karya Ninik M. Kuntarto. Data penelitian berupa kutipan dialog, monolog, dan narasi yang sesuai dengan fokus serta tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan   bahwa   terdapat   dekonstruksi   stereotip   perempuan   yang tergambar melalui penokohan Saatirah. Selain itu, melalui pembacaan dekonstruktif dapat ditemukan unsur aporia berupa paradoks, ironi, dan kontradiksi. Melalui unsur aporia yang ditemukan tersebut maka terbentuklah sebuah konstruksi cerita baru dalam novel Di Balik Kerling Saatirah karya Ninik M. Kuntarto.Kata Kunci: stereotip, perempuan, aporia, konstruksiThis study aims to identify the uncommon stereotypes of woman in the novel Di Balik Kerling Saatirah by Ninik M. Kuntarto, to describes the elements of aphoria in the novel Di Balik Kerling Saatirah by Ninik M. Kuntarto, and to expose new contruction in the novel Di Balik Kerling Saatirah by Ninik M. Kuntarto. The research data is in the form of word, phrase, and sentences in the form of dialogues, monologues, and narratives  that are in accordance with the focus and purpose of the study. The result of this study indicate that there is a deconstruction  of the stereotypes  of woman  depicted through  the characterization of Saatirah. In addition, through deconstructive reading it can be found that the element of aphoria are paradoks, irony, and contradiction. Through the found element of aphoria a new story construction is formed in the novel Di Balik Kerling Saatirah by Ninik M. Kuntarto.Keywords: stereotypes, woman, aphoria, construction

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengukur kualitas kegiatan ekstrakurikuler KIR siswa, kemampuan literasi informasi siswa, dan hubungan kualitas kegiatan ekstrakurikuler KIR dengan kemampuan literasi informasi siswa. Penelitian dengan metode kuantitatif korelasional ini menyimpulkan bahwa mayoritas siswa memiliki kualitas KIR dengan klasifikasi cukup, kemampuan literasi informasi siswa memiliki kualifikasi cukup, dan terdapat hubungan positif antara kegiatan ekstrakurikuler KIR dengan kemampuan literasi informasi siswa.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to develop a model for the learning of early reading-writing to improvestudents’ reading-writing competencies. The research data were the results of a studyof an early reading-writing curriculum, those of a survey on the implementation of andsuggestions for the learning of early reading-writing at elementary schools, and those ofa tryout of the prototype of a model for the learning of early reading-writing. The studyproduced: (1) a model of a guideline for the learning of early reading-writing dividedinto the essence of early reading-writing and strategies in the learning of early readingwritingin the emergent literacy perspective and (2) a model of an early reading-writingmagazine using the performance standard with language characteristics, contents, andtechniques.

Abstract

Novel sebagai representasi dari kehidupan nyata banyak mengangkat tema-tema yang selama ini berkembang di masyarakat. Salah satu tema yang menarik dan banyak diangkat adalah tema yang berhubungan dengan perempuan. Setiap penulis mempunyai cara tersendiri untuk membuat pembaca tetap tertarik dengan kisah yang disajikan. Hal itu dilakukan tidak hanya dengan penyajian jalan cerita yang berbeda, namun juga melakukan konstruksi yang berbeda-beda pada sosok perempuan sehingga setiap cerita menggambarkan citra perempuan yang berbeda pula. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan konsep perempuan dan memaparkan unsur aporia dalam novel Siti Nurbaya, Belenggu, dan Di Balik Kerling Saatirah. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan dekonstruksi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Data penelitian berupa kutipan dialog, monolog, dan narasi yang sesuai dengan fokus serta tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan bentuk dekonstruksi konsep perempuan yang tergambar melalui penokohan Siti Nurbaya, Rohayah, dan Saatirah. One of the interesting and widely discussed themes is related to women. Each writer has their own way of keeping readers interested in the story being presented. This is done not only by presenting a different storyline, but also by carrying out different constructions on the female figure so that each story depicts a different image of a woman. This study aims to identify differences in the concept of women and to explain the elements of aporia in the novels Siti Nurbaya, Belenggu, and Di Balik Kerling Saatirah. The study uses the deconstruction approach. This type of research is qualitative research. The research data are in the forms of dialogue quotations, monologues, and narratives that are in accordance with the focus and objectives of the study. Research results indicate that there are differences in the form of deconstruction of the concept of women as illustrated by the characterizations of Siti Nurbaya, Rohayah, and Saatirah. In addition, through deconstructive reading, elements of aporia can be found in the three novels in the forms of paradox, irony, and contradiction.Keywords: differentiation, women, deconstruction, aporia

Abstract

This study aims to describe structural-semiotic characteristics of D. Zawawi Imron’s poems. This study employed a qualitative descriptive hermeneutic analysis. The findings show that D. Zawawi Imron’s poems are characterized by (1) the diction comprising the use of concrete and connotative words related to natural, social, and spiritual environments; (2) figures of speech dominated by metaphors, followed by personifications and similes; (3) descriptive, periphrastic, paradoxical, symbolic, climactic, and ironical language styles; and (4) tactile, visual, dynamic, and auditory imagery. The diction contributes to the creationof figures of speech and language styles and both contribute to the imagery creation. The semiotic characteristics are related to empirical facts as follows: (1) most poems are indices, (2) few poems are icons, and (3) no poem is a symbol. In the relationship between titles and contents of the poems, the titles serve as indices and icons for the contents, whilesymbols are only metaphorical words/phrases.
