Abstract

This study aims to develop self and peer assessment instruments to improve students' critical and appreciative abilities in learning drama appreciation. This research was conducted by following the ADDIE model development steps: needs analysis, product design, product development, product implementation, and product evaluation. There are two types of data in this study: qualitative data and quantitative data. Quali-tative data are in the form of suggestions and comments from assessment experts, literature experts, and drama appreciation learning experts, as well as students, while quantitative data are in the form of scores obtained from assessment experts, literature experts, and drama appreciation learning experts, as well as students. Both data were obtained through questionnaire guidelines. The data obtained were then analyzed. Qualitative data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques, while quantitative data using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The analysis technique used shows that the product developed can increase students' critical appreciative abilities by getting an average percentage of 8.3% for the display aspect, 9.7% for the product content aspect, and 90.4% for the language aspect. The three averages were obtained from assessment experts, literary experts, and drama appreciation learning experts. When testing the product, students got an average score of 82.2% on the aspect of students' impressions of the use of self and peer assessment in increasing students' critical appreciation skills in learning drama appreciation and 80.4% on the aspect of practicality and ease of self and peer assessment for improving students' appreciative critical abilities in drama appreciation learning.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to describe the strategy stages for writing culinary poetry. This study used a descriptive qualitative design with a type of text analysis. The strategy described is closely related to gastronomy. The results of the strategy analysis show five stages in writing culinary poetry. The five stages consist of determining culinary poetry recipe (culinary stimulation), preparation of culinary poetry tools and materials (reflection of culinary experiences or culinary memory creation), review of culinary poetry (culinary description), cooking culinary poetry process (culinary and literature collaboration), and presentation of culinary poetry (writing culinary poetry).Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan tahapan strategi untuk menulis puisi kuliner. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis analisis teks. Strategi yang dijabarkan berkaitan erat dengan gastronomi. Hasil analisis startegi menunjukkan lima tahapan dalam menulis puisi kuliner. Lima tahapan tersebut terdiri atas  penentuan resep puisi kuliner (penstimulusan kuliner), persiapan alat dan bahan puisi kuliner (refleksi pengalaman kuliner atau penciptaan memori kuliner), peninjauan puisi kuliner (pendeskripsian kuliner), proses memasak puisi kuliner (pengkolaborasian kuliner dan sastra), dan penyajian puisi kuliner (menulis puisi kuliner).

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe and explain education of  character intelligence of learner in speech acts among (governence) substance. The use of the among substance in the speech act in teaching is a natural phenomenon in the context of the classroom. In effort to explain the phenomena, the research used a naturalistic qualitative research with pragmatic design. Based on data analysis there were three groups research results, ie. ineducationg learners' character intelligence, aspects of intellectual, emotional, conational embodied in cipta (creating), rasa (sensing), karsa (initiating) speech acts.   Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan penanaman kecerdasan budi pekerti siswa dalam tindak tutur substansi among. Penggunaan tindak tutur substansi among dalam pembelajaran merupakan fenomena alamiah dalam konteks kelas. Untuk menjelaskan itu, digunakan penelitian kualitatif naturalistik dengan ancangan pragmatik. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh tiga kelompok temuan penelitian  bahwa dalam penanaman kecerdasan budi pekerti siswa aspek intelektual, emosional, dan konasional diwujudkan  dalam tindak tutur cipta, rasa, dan karsa.

Abstract

The current research is a part of improvement research on authenticcollaborative assessment model book for High School. Book's arrangement was based on the problem that implementation on authentic assessment in poetry writing class at introduction study in three student groups collaboratively has not been well accomplished. Poetry writing learning aims at objective authentic assessment and involves student collaboratively. Tested unlimited and extensive student groups, the book is able to be accepted and applied as assessment model which improves learning result.

Abstract

This study is aimed at developing digital teaching materials for Prose FictionAppreciation course to foster students’ learning and engagement. This study employedresearch and development design summarized in 4D steps: Define, Design, Develop,and Disseminate. The results of validation and product testing show that the teachingmaterials are suitable for the learning and able to foster the students’ learning andengagement. The notion of engagement is of great importance to be promoted as itsuggests that the students are active learning subjects.

Abstract

Implementing Culturally Responsive Teaching Materials (CRTM) of Sasak culture literature using Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) strategy enables students to connect concepts and real-life experiences on culture. This research aims to examine the implementation of Culturally Responsive Teaching Materials (CRTM) of Sasak culture literature using Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) strategy. This research applied pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Teaching materials taught in this study are intrinsic and extrinsic elements in short stories and novels. Thirty-three Public Islamic Senior High School student in West Nusa Tenggara participated in this research. The results of the implementation test before and after treatment indicated a significant difference. The mean score of the learning outcomes before the treatment (pretest) was 51.45 and 76.82 on the posttest. This research implies the attainment of implementing Culturally Responsive Teaching Materials (CRTM) of Sasak culture literature using Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) strategy to the students of Islamic Senior High School.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kecenderungan penokohan dan pengaluran cerpen karya mahasiswa UM. Pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan instrumen utama peneliti sendiri dan instrumen pembantu berupa tabel pedoman analisis. Temuan  penelitian  adalah: (1)  cerpen  dengan teknik penokohan secara langsung; (2) cerpen dengan teknik penokohan secara tidak langsung; (3) cerpen dengan teknik penokohan campuran; (4) cerpen dengan struktur alur lengkap dan cerpen dengan struktur alur tidak lengkap; (5) cerpen dengan alur progresif dan cerpen dengan alur sorot balik; (6) cerpen dengan alur tunggal dan cerpen dengan alur paralel; (7) cerpen dengan alur padat dan cerpen dengan alur longgar; dan (8) cerpen dengan alur peruntungan, cerpen dengan alur tokohan, dan cerpen dengan alur pemikiran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis citraan dan fungsi citraan pada novel fantasi Nataga the Little Dragon karya Ugi Agustono. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kajian teks dengan pendekatan hermeneutika. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya tujuh jenis citraan dan empat fungsi citraan. Jenis citraan tersebut meliputi (1) citraan penglihatan, (2) citraan pendengaran, (3) citraan penciuman, (4) citraan pencecapan, (5) citraan gerak, (6) citraan perabaan, (7) citraan intelektual. Fungsi citraan meliputi (1) memperjelas gambaran, (2) membuat hidup gambaran dalam pikiran dan penginderaan, (3) membangkitkan suasana khusus, dan (4) membangkitkan intelektualitas pembaca.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan (1) kebutuhan informasi kemampuan berbahasa (2) perilaku pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi kemampuan berbahasa (3) hambatan memenuhi kebutuhan informasi kemampuan berbahasa mahasiswa jurusan Sastra Inggris di ESAC. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan telaah dokumen. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu menggunakan wawancara terstruktur. Pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan triangulasi data. Kegiatan analisis dimulai dari tahap kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang dilakukan, diperoleh tiga kesimpulan sebagai berikut. Pertama, ESAC memenuhi kebutuhan informasi kemampuan berbahasa mendengar dan membaca serta mahasiswa jurusan Sastra Inggris memiliki karakteristik kebutuhan informasi. Kedua, mahasiswa melakukan pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi dengan tahap yang runtut. Ketiga, hambatan yang dihadapi mahasiswa jurusan Sastra Inggris adalah kondisi psikologis, lingkungan dan keterbatasan sumber informasi untuk menulis dan berbicara.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kebutuhan informasi dan upaya pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi anggota komunitas Akar Tuli Malang. Hal tersebut ditinjau dari faktor yang mendorong kebutuhan informasi anggota komunitas. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan telaah dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan informasi anggota komunitas didorong oleh sepuluh faktor. Selain sepuluh faktor tersebut, kebutuhan informasi anggota komunitas juga dipengaruhi oleh isi informasi yang disertai dengan gambar untuk memudahkan mereka dalam menerjemahkan, dan memahami informasi yang diperoleh. Upaya pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi anggota komunitas dilakukan dengan beberapa cara, yakni pencarian informasi melalui manusia atau bertanya kepada orang lain, pencarian informasi melalui dokumen, pencarian informasi melalui gawai atau secara online, dan membaca bibir lawan bicara.Kata Kunci: kebutuhan informasi, upaya pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi, komunitas Akar Tuli, tuli, tunarungu. ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the information needs and efforts to meet the information needs of Malang Tuli Root community members. This is viewed from the factors that drive the information needs of community members. This research method uses a case study method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and document review. The results showed that the information needs of community members were driven by ten factors. In addition to these ten factors, the information needs of community members are also influenced by the content of information accompanied by images to facilitate them in translating, and understanding the information obtained. Efforts to fulfill the information needs of community members are carried out in several ways, namely searching for information through humans or asking other people, searching for information through documents, searching for information through devices or online, and reading the lips of the other person.Keywords: information needs, efforts to fulfill information needs, deaf, deaf, deaf.
