Abstract

The school garden can be used for planting various types of plants. So that the use of land is more optimal, then one of the efforts that can be done is to invite students to plant various types of plants, such as vegetables, ornamental plants and fruits as well as medicinal plants. These plants can be placed in the school garden, both in the front and in the back. This activity aims to provide environmental education for early childhood through planting various types of plants and introducing various types of plants in early childhood. There are some Stages of activities, namely: preparation of planting media, planting, and harvesting of fast-growing type of vegetables. Based on the results of the activities, that the children are very enthusiastic and very happy through planting various types of plants in their school grounds.

Abstract

The purpose of this study were to analyze the relationship between workplace spirituality and affective commitment when emotional intelligence is a moderat or variable to Nurses at the RST Dr. Reksodwiryo Padang. The population in this study were all contract nurses in the inpatient department at the RST Dr. Reksodiwiryo Padang as many as 108 people. The number of samples used in the study was 85 people using the clusters proportional random sampling technique. The research design used in this study is causality research. The data analysis technique used is the Structural Equational Model (SEM) with the help of the SmartPLS 3.0 . The results of this study revealed that the emotional intelligence moderates the relationship was found to be significant to Nurses at the RST Dr. Reksodwiryo Padang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work life balance on the Intention to stay with work engagement as a mediator. The population in this study were employees of PT. GlobalCom Indonesia. While the sample used amounted to 67 employees. Data collection is done through distributing questionnaires and data processing is done through smart PLS. The results of this study indicate that work life balance has a positive and significant effect on work engagement, work engagement has a positive and significant effect on intention to stay, work life balance has a positive and significant effect on Intention to stay and work life balance has positive and significant effect on Intention to stay with work engagement as a mediating variable.

Abstract

The process of changing the power supply from PLN to generator or from generator to PLN automatically is a process called Automatic Transfer Switch. Controlling the device so that it can automatically be used with a microcontroller, namely Arduino Mega 2560. Arduino will drive control components such as relay modules, ZMPT101B, RTC DS3231 which become digital inputs and analog inputs. The purpose of making an Arduino-based Automatic Transfer Switch is to make a generator ignition system and control the transfer of the power supply automatically using a microcontroller. The purpose of making an automatic generator ignition system is so that users do not need to turn on and off the generator manually, in an automatic way that is controlled via Arduino. The purpose of making 1-phase generator automation with an Automatic Transfer Switch based on a microcontroller is to make it easier for users to turn on and turn off generators automatically and make it easier to transfer power supplies from PLN to generators or from generators to PLN. Abstract

Regional development is one of the efforts in order to utilize the potential of the existing area to obtain better conditions and life arrangements for the benefit of the community. For this reason, in the effort to develop regional areas, the government hopes that through the implementation of training and education, change leaders will be able to make changes and adapt to changes that occur in their environment. These changes were made in order to maintain the organization with a high level of performance. There are several agendas that become factors in influencing the formation of adaptive leadership in the implementation of education and training teams, namely the self mastery agenda, the diagnostic reading agenda, the innovation agenda and the effective team agenda. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the self mastery agenda, diagnostic reading agenda, innovation agenda, and effective team agenda on adaptive leadership and its relation to regional development. The method of analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression using descriptive methods through a quantitative approach. The number of respondents is 160 people. The results showed that: the self mastery agenda had a positive and significant effect on adaptive leadership, the diagnostic reading agenda had a positive and significant effect on adaptive leadership, the innovation agenda had a positive and significant effect on adaptive leadership, the effective team agenda had a positive and significant effect on adaptive leadership and there were a fairly close relationship between adaptive leadership to regional development.

Abstract

Induction motors are the most common type of motor used in industry and in households with several advantages including simple construction and easy maintenance. However, induction motors also have weaknesses, one of issue is use large starting currents in a short time which can cause voltage drops in the power grid. This research focuses on the design and manufacture of a soft starter in order to suppress the start current surge. The method used by control the firing angle of the triac using a trigger circuit that is controlled by an arduino with optocouper as the phase detector. By adjusting the ignition angle of the triac, the voltage during the motor starting process can be adjusted. In addition, this softstarter can adjust the length of time the motor starts from 0 volts to the nominal voltage. The instrument testing was carried out on a 3-phase induction motor with a power specification of 1HP and a nominal current of 2 A with a start time varying between 3 seconds, 7 seconds and 10 seconds. From the test results obtained a linear increase in the motor input voltage with respect to the time set. During the process of increasing the voltage, in the T phase there is a slight difference in value to the other 2 phases, but at the end of the starting process the voltages of the three phases return to the same value. Meanwhile, the starting current tends to follow a voltage increase by linear but fluctuating with starting current lowest than DOL starter method. Abstract

The main purpose of making a peanut skin peeling machine is to meet the needs of peanut shelling when farmers are in the harvest season in peanut-producing areas. This machine is expected to help the stripping process, so as to increase production efficiency and quality. The stages of making a peanut skin peeler machine consist of needs analysis, preparation of product technical specifications, product concept design aims to produce alternative product concepts, after the product concept is obtained, the next step is product design which is product concept development in the form of sketches into technical objects, the last step in making this machine to make product documents in the form of working drawing designs. The specifications of the peanut skin peeler machine are with a capacity of 29 kg/hour, machine dimensions 1375 mm long x 648 mm wide x 1318 mm high. Using a driving force in the form of a 5.5 HP, 3600 rpm gasoline motor, the peanut skin peeler machine frame uses an L elbow profile of 40 x 40 x 40 mm. The peanut sheller machine transmission system consists of several components, namely pulley, v-belt, shaft, bearings, gearbox, and gasoline motor. The transmission system that we will make is using a gearbox with a gearbox ratio of 30: 1 and a pulley ratio of 1: 1. It will slow down the speed of a gasoline motorbike from 3600 rpm to 120 rpm. The mechanism that works on the transmission system starts from the gasoline motor which is transmitted to the gearbox shaft and from the gearbox shaft to the paring knife shaft using a v-belt will be transmitted, the connecting shaft uses a v-belt, at the same time the pulleys that have been attached to the v-belt on the connecting shaft are redistributed towards the pulley shaft of the paring knife using a v-belt which is used to rotate the paring knife to peel the skin of the peanuts.

Abstract

The Khaduri Laot tradition is a traditional ceremony that must be carried out by the coastal communities of Aceh Tamiang, especially at the end of the west season or before the east season. This tradition has been carried out routinely by every village under the Panglima Laot area. For the local fishing community, Khaduri Laot reflects the relationship between humans, their creator, and the surrounding environment. This ceremony is believed to have a major influence on the safety of fishermen and the blessings of marine products. Khaduri Laot is considered a cultural tradition that must be maintained and preserved. Local people's beliefs state that not carrying out this ceremony can bring disaster or danger. On the contrary, the Khaduri Laot celebration is believed to bring blessings and abundant sustenance to fishermen and coastal communities. In addition, this ritual is also believed to provide protection and security for fishermen who sail at sea. This tradition not only has a spiritual dimension, but also a cultural one in maintaining harmony between humans and nature.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara (muhaddatsah) bahasa Arab bagi santri Dayah Ummul Ayman di Kabupaten Pidie Jaya. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membekali santri dengan keterampilan komunikasi bahasa Arab yang efektif, sehingga mereka dapat menggunakannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari serta dalam konteks akademis dan keagamaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi pendekatan interaktif dan praktik langsung. Santri diberikan pelatihan intensif melalui simulasi dan praktik percakapan sehari-hari, diskusi kelompok, serta sesi tanya jawab. Instruktur yang terlibat adalah para ahli bahasa Arab dan pendidikan agama yang memiliki pengalaman luas dalam pengajaran bahasa Arab. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan berbicara bahasa Arab di kalangan santri. Evaluasi yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari 80% santri mengalami peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi bahasa Arab, baik dalam struktur bahasa, kosa kata, maupun kepercayaan diri dalam berbicara. Kegiatan ini juga berkontribusi pada peningkatan kepercayaan diri santri dan motivasi belajar bahasa Arab. Kegiatan ini mendemonstrasikan efektivitas pendekatan interaktif dan praktik langsung dalam meningkatkan keterampilan bahasa Arab di kalangan santri, serta memberikan model yang dapat direplikasi di lembaga pendidikan agama lainnya.

Abstract

The research aims to get the best slope of the solar module to be placed on the roof of the building. This research will look at the performance of solar panels with varying slopes from various types in the city of Banda Aceh. The method used in this research is data collection by looking at the most significant output power from various slopes and comparing it with calculating the output power. The data from each month will also be compared so that the cross panel and the best tilt angle will be. From the research that has been done, it is found that in December and January, with the sun's declination angle of 23 ° and 20 ° North Latitude, the orientation of the solar panel installation is facing south with the best tilt angle of the solar panel is 20 ° -25 ° in December and 18 ° -24 ° in January. In July, the sun's declination is 21.2 ° North Latitude. The orientation of the solar panel installation is facing North, with the best tilt angle of the solar panel being 15 °.
