Abstract

Carrying out the profession as medical personnel, there is a high possibility of direct or indirect contact with microorganisms, so that medical personnel are prone to cross-contamination between patients and medical personnel. This study aims to determine the description of compliance with hand hygiene among respondents at the Nibung Health Center, North Musi Rawas Regency in 2024. The design in this study is an analytical survey with a cross sectional design, using the chi-square test. sampling using total sample technique. The results obtained from each variable are age 0.028 ≤ α 0.05, gender p value 0.312 ≥ 0.05, education with compliance p value 0.021 ≤ 0.05, knowledge p value 0.012 ≤ 0.05, attitude p value 0.003 ≤ 0.005, availability of facilities p value 0.713 ≥ 0.05, the role of PPI p value 0.032 ≤ 0.05. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between age, education, knowledge, attitude, and the role of PPI with compliance with hand hygiene. It is hoped that the Nibung Health Center, North Musi Rawas Regency, will increase staff compliance in the application of daily hand hygiene with the indication of “five moments”

Abstract

Life expectancy has only increased by 0.02 per year, with a life expectancy achievement ratio in 2018 of only 86.15%. Several main factors, one of which is the community's ability to obtain health services. This research aims to determine the performance of elderly posyandu cadres in the working area of the Sidorejo Community Health Center, Pagar Alam City in 2024. Type of quantitative research, analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study was all elderly posyandu cadres in the working area of the Sidorejo Community Health Center, Pagar Alam City, namely 105 cadres. The sample was calculated using the Slovin technique so that the sample was 105 cadres. Univariate, bivariate data analysis using chi square and multivariate using multiple logistic regression tests. The research results showed that there was a significant relationship between knowledge (p=0.008) attitude (p=0.027) service (p=0.007) and the performance of elderly Posyandu cadres. The independent variables age, gender and education do not have a significant relationship with the performance of elderly Posyandu cadres. The most dominant factor related to the performance of elderly posyandu cadres in the working area of the Sidorejo Health Center, Pagar Alam City in 2024 is the service variable (p = 0.017 OR = 3.295). This research suggests conducting outreach to the community about the importance of using posyandu and providing training or monthly meetings to cadres.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition of growth failure in toddlers which is characterized by a height-for-age figure of less than -2 (z-score value). The prevalence of stunting in children aged 6-59 months is 41.1%, factors related to stunting are the child's age, food source and children with stunting are more susceptible to disease. This study aims to determine factors related to the incidence of stunting in children under five in the Tanjung Batu Community Health Center UPT Working Area, Ogan Ilir Regency in 2024. Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is caused by the dengue virus transmitted by the Aedes aegypti mosquito or Aedes albopictus. The characteristics of the infectious vector determine the spread and timing of the occurrence of infection. The habitat of aedes mosquitoes is generally in regions with tropical climates, high rainfall, and hot and humid temperatures. The design of this study is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study uses a total sampling technique of 45 samples. The data analysis presented was using univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. The results of this study were obtained as age variables with a pvalue of 0.012, education pvalue 0.028, house ventilation pvalue 0.016, water shelter condition pvalue 0.000, mosquito repellent with pvalue 0.014, clothes hanging place pvalue 0.016, waste disposal system pvalue 0.016.  From dengue patients at the Muaradua Health Center, the condition of water reservoirs is the one that has the strongest effect compared to other facts (OlR 67,867). This can be interpreted if the respondent has an unhealthy water reservoir, he will have a risk of 67,867 times to suffer from dengue, and if he is old, he will have a similar risk.

The most dominant stunting that occurs in toddlers is the problem of growth failure or weight faltering. Methods Research using cross-sectional. Population consists of mothers who have toddlers, who visit posyandu ILP Mekar Jaya in Talang Batu Village in February 2025 using purposive sampling technique obtained 53 respondents. The results of the study obtained age of toddlers p value = 0.04 OR 0.32, gender pvalue 0.90, birth weight pvalue 0.29, exclusive breastfeeding p value = 0.02 OR 0.27, maternal age p value =0.48, maternal education p value =0.16, parental income p value = 0.95, maternal knowledge p value Value =0.01 OR 4.25. From the final results of multivariate analysis. Variable knowledge with p value = 0.017 OR 4.250. Conclusion there is a significant relationship between the age of toddlers, exclusive breastfeeding and maternal knowledge of the incidence of weight falterin. The more dominant variableis knowledge

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the non-communicable diseases whose prevalence continues to rise both globally and nationally, including in the working area of Talang Ratu Public Health Center, Palembang City. The risk factors for hypertension are classified into modifiable and non-modifiable factors. This study is an observational analytic research with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 241 respondents selected using consecutive sampling from patients visiting the Talang Ratu Health Center in February 2025. Data were collected through interviews using questionnaires and direct measurement tools. Analysis was conducted using univariate, bivariate (Chi-square), and multivariate (multiple logistic regression) methods. The results showed that variables significantly associated with hypertension were age (p = 0.000), obesity (p = 0.001), physical activity (p = 0.005), fast food consumption (p = 0.003), stress (p = 0.010), and family history of hypertension (p = 0.000). Non-significant variables included gender (p = 0.748) and smoking habits (p = 0.576). The most dominant factor was age (OR = 6.912). It is concluded that age is the main risk factor for hypertension. Promotive and preventive efforts targeting modifiable risk factors should focus on high-risk age groups.
