Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the use of Audio Visual Media in Islamic Religious Education Subjects to Improve the Learning Activities of Class V Students of Sd Negeri 09 Palembang in PAI-BP subjects. The model in this research uses Kurt Lewin's research which consists of 4 stages, namely; planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The results of this research can be explained as follows SD Negeri 09 Palembang : a. The use of audio visual media has been proven to improve student learning outcomes in groups. This is demonstrated by the achievement of learning completeness results which reached 88.33%. (first cycle 71.66% to 88.33%). b. The use of audio-visual media can increase teacher activity in the material "closer to the names of Allah SWT (Asmaul-Husna)". This is proven by a significant increase in the results of observations of teacher activities from 60.53% in the first cycle to 90.48% in the second cycle. c. The use of audio-visual media can increase students' activities in the material "closer to the names of Allah SWT (Asmaul-Husna)". This is proven by a significant increase in the results of observing student activities from 57.89% in the first cycle to 85.71% in the second cycle.

Abstract

The pilgrimages that the residents of Simpang Tanjung village make to the village's grave of Puyang Rie Dinding serve as the inspiration for this study's ancestral practices. This mausoleum is frequented by numerous townspeople as well as tourists from outside the hamlet, both singly and in groups. This research tries to explain how the values of Islamic religious education are applied in the pilgrimage tradition of Puyang Rie Dinding's tomb. This research uses qualitative field research. Direct observation of the condition of eating Puyang Rie Dinding, interviews with caretakers, community leaders, and various communities, as well as documentation in the form of objects in the tomb of Puyang Rie Dinding and relics of Puyang Rie Dinding, were used as data collection techniques. Descriptive analysis is the data analysis method used. First, the community believes that the tomb of Puyang Rie Dinding is a mustajab location when someone has nazdar there, although Some people do not accept it. Secondly, the results of temporary research reveal that when a person has fulfilled his or her wish, then he or she must fulfill the vow or nazdar that was made during the pilgrimage. When one travels to the tomb, the promise goes along with the act of paying nazdar. Secondly, the locals think that their practice is permissible in Islam, the religion they follow. Third, Puyang Rie Dinding's grave pilgrimage tradition has distinctive characteristics. The importance of Islamic Religious Education to Allah, His Messenger, and oneself is one of Islamic Religious Education, which is also reflected in the custom of grave pilgrimage to the grave of Puyang Rie Dinding.

Abstract

The availability of facilities in a school has an important role in the implementation of the educational process. Each school has a size and type, varies depending on the resources and goals of how the education provider. As an institution, school is a place to teach and learn students, a place to train and give instructions about a certain scientific field and skills to students. The existence of a place called a school is a building complex, consisting of a laboratory, physical facilities provided as a center for teaching and learning activities for teachers and students.Schools are institutions that carry out the formal education system, and have an important role in the socialization process, namely the process of helping individuals develop into social beings and beings who can adapt well in society. intellectual intelligence (IQ), emotional intelligence (EQ), and spiritual intelligence (SQ). Schools have an important role in the socialization process, namely the process to help the development of individuals as social beings and beings who can follow the situation well in society.The real educational processes are the relationship of activities that take place in the classroom, school education can help students to gain the knowledge and skills needed to live, therefore one of the goals that must be achieved by education is to develop life skills. This is actually the direction of the competency-based curriculum, life skills education and broad-based education being developedAs a forum or institution where there has been a socialization process and teaching and learning process between educators and students. Schools must be able to provide a good interaction in printing the nation's next generation so that the social dynamics of the school become a miniature of the nation's social dynamics with dignity and character.

Abstract

Transformasi digital telah memengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk bidang akademik, khususnya dalam penulisan karya ilmiah yang menuntut sitasi dan pengelolaan referensi yang akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam penggunaan aplikasi Mendeley untuk sitasi dan pengelolaan referensi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang melibatkan 60 mahasiswa dan dosen di Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah (STIT) Muara Enim. Langkah-langkah penelitian meliputi identifikasi masalah, penyusunan rencana pelatihan, pelaksanaan pelatihan, dan evaluasi kolaboratif. Pelatihan melibatkan ceramah, simulasi, dan praktik langsung menggunakan Mendeley. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa banyak mahasiswa belum familiar dengan Mendeley, dan pengelolaan referensi masih dilakukan secara manual. Setelah pelatihan, peserta menunjukkan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang sitasi dan mampu mengoperasikan Mendeley dengan baik, termasuk mengimpor referensi, mengatur library, dan membuat sitasi serta daftar pustaka. Evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam antusiasme dan motivasi mahasiswa untuk menghasilkan karya ilmiah yang berkualitas. Keterbatasan laptop dan jaringan internet yang tidak stabil merupakan kendala yang dihadapi. Secara keseluruhan, pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi akademik mahasiswa dalam pengelolaan referensi dan sitasi, serta diharapkan dapat berlanjut untuk peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan akademik yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Hadith holds a very important position in Islam, particularly as a way of life guide, including in educating children. However, there are still many instances of misinterpretation regarding hadiths related to the command to strike children, leading to incorrect interpretations. This study seeks to analyze the interpretation of the hadith concerning the command to strike children by using modern educational approaches and educational psychology. The research method is qualitative, supported by literature studies on both classical and modern texts. This study finds that the interpretation of the hadith about striking children for disciplinary purposes has been understood literally, without considering broader social, psychological, and pedagogical contexts. The study also finds that an educational approach emphasizing dialogue, understanding, and guidance is more effective in shaping the character and behavior of children. Based on these findings, a reinterpretation of the hadith is needed in a broader and deeper context of child education, integrating modern psychological and pedagogical values.

Abstract

The development of the digital era presents significant challenges for Islamic education in internalizing the values of akhlakul karimah among Madrasah Tsanawiyah students. Exposure to negative content, low digital literacy, and distractions in learning are significant obstacles to shaping the Islamic character of the younger generation. This study aims to analyze the challenges and formulate innovative strategies for implementing an Islamic education curriculum relevant to the needs of the digital era. Using a library study approach, the study synthesizes theoretical insights from primary and secondary literature through content analysis of recent publications. The results reveal that integrating digital technologies, such as Islamic applications, Islamic value-based e-learning, and interactive media, can support the internalization of akhlakul karimah. Project-based and contextual learning approaches also enhance students’ understanding and practice of Islamic values. Furthermore, collaboration between schools, families, and communities is key to creating an educational environment that shapes students’ Islamic character. The main challenges in implementing these strategies include low digital literacy, limited technological infrastructure, and stakeholder coordination. This study emphasizes the importance of holistic and adaptive strategies in addressing the complexities of the digital era. Through the synergy between technological innovation, active learning, and multi-stakeholder collaboration, Islamic education can effectively shape a generation with akhlakul karimah while remaining responsive to the dynamics of the times.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of humanistic theory and its impact on cognitive, emotional, and spiritual aspects. Students feel happy and enthusiastic, take the initiative in learning, experience changes in mindset, behavior, and attitude of their own accord without pressure or coercion, and are helped to develop their potential to the fullest. The teacher acts as a facilitator who supports students in a meaningful learning process. The humanistic theory positions students as unique, active, and valuable individuals in the learning process. This research uses a qualitative library research method with a descriptive-analytical approach by collecting sources from various relevant books and articles. In Indonesia, learning objectives are determined by teachers based on established educational standards. For the methods and media to be used, they can be agreed upon by the teacher and the students. This approach also emphasizes the importance of creating an inclusive and empathetic learning environment, where students feel valued and accepted, and encourages them to internalize Islamic values in their daily lives. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of humanistic theory can enhance students' intrinsic motivation, deepen their understanding of Islamic teachings, and encourage them to apply these values in social and spiritual interactions.

Abstract

Cognitivist learning theory emphasizes that learning is an active mental process involving experience and interaction with the environment. This qualitative descriptive study aims to conceptually examine the implications of cognitivist learning theory for Islamic Religious Education at the junior high school level in literature review. The findings reveal that cognitivist theory remains highly applicable in designing adaptive and meaningful learning strategies, particularly through methods such as discovery learning and problem-based learning. Moreover, understanding students’ cognitive structures enables educators to tailor materials according to developmental stages. The study recommends integrating cognitive theory into PAI instruction to enhance learning effectiveness and promote deeper comprehension of religious values.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the characteristics of late adolescent development and identify its implications for learning, especially in the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Late adolescence is an important transition period towards adulthood marked by significant physical, intellectual, social, emotional, moral, and spiritual changes. To achieve this goal, this study uses a literature study method by reviewing various library sources such as scientific journals, academic books, and relevant articles. The results of the study indicate that late adolescents have complex developmental needs that need to be understood in depth by educators, especially PAI teachers. Understanding these characteristics allows teachers to design learning that is more contextual, holistic, and able to optimally support students' spiritual and moral growth.
