Abstract

This study aims to determine, study and describe the application of the movement to care for the environment in elementary schools and is expected to foster a sense of caring for the school environment. This study uses a descriptive caulative approach and the type in this study is phenomonology. The place of this research is SD Negeri 55 / I Sridadi, Muara Bulian with the subject of the research being the principal, teachers and students. Data collected using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that in SD Negeri 55 / I Sridadi, Muara Bulian, Kab. Batang Hari, Jambi Province shows that in the environmental care movement at the school, it is carried out through programs, such as the Sagu Sapo program and programs that require every morning to do a picket cleaning the environment at school. This program is not only carried out by students but teachers and principals also play a role in this. And there are sanctions for students or teachers who do not carry out their picket assignments. During the dry season students are instructed to bring one child one bottle of water to water the plants in the school environment.

Abstract

Teacher Competency Test is a test of mastery of professional and pedagogic competencies in the cognitive domain as a basis for establishing continuous professional development activities and part of teacher assessment. The test is a source and as a material for mapping the competencies that a teacher has regarding professional and pedagogical competence in an area. The low competence of the pedagogical field shows that teachers are not professional. Therefore the teacher will find it difficult to be able to provide a good pursuit of students. One way to improve the competence of teachers in pedagogic fields is by increasing teacher understanding and knowledge of local wisdom in learning. The essence of local and national cultural values in the education curriculum is now a bustling thing to be talked about by the people of Indonesia. Social ethnoconstructivism is able to be a solution amid the current developments and cultural shifts. This study wants to see how high the impact of ethnoconstuctivistic knowledge on teacher pedagogical competencies. In addition, age and gender are also separate discussions to see their influence on pedagogical competence. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Samples in this study were elementary school teachers in three districts/cities in Jambi Province. The results show that teachers' ethnoconstructivism knowledge has an influence on the teacher's pedagogical competence. The age of a teacher also has an impact on pedagogical competence, but gender does not affect the teacher's pedagogical competency.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the types of difficulties encountered by students when conducting online learning through WhatsApp, as well as how teachers address students' learning difficulties. The method used in this research was qualitative research method using case study design. Data were gathered through online observation and interviews. Data analysis was carried out by collecting data, analyzing data, and drawing conclusions. To check the validity of the data, sources and technique triangulations were used. The results of this research showed that there were several difficulties experienced by the students during online learning through WhatsApp group, such as lack of support facilities because students did not have their own mobile phones, unstable internet network, and insufficient internet quota. Regarding the use of WhatsApp in learning activities, students had difficulty discussing in the group or using WhatsApp features. The teacher overcame the obstacles for students who did not have their own mobile phones by asking their classmates or neighbors who lived nearby to provide information related to learning activities. To address challenges such as an unstable internet network, the teacher instructed students to find a location with a good network while learning. Then, regarding students who did not have an internet quota, the teacher recorded the student's WhatsApp numbers so they could get free internet assistance from the Ministry of Education and Culture. To solve problems related to the difficulty of students discussing in groups and difficulties using the WhatsApp feature, the teacher always guided and assisted students on how to use the WhatsApp features in the learning process.

Abstract

This study was designed to describe the authentic implementation of HOTS based on SD Negeri 13/1 Rengas Condong, Muara Bulian. This study uses qualitative types of phenomenology. Phenomenology is a type of research that discusses, describes, explains related to the phenomena that occur. The sampling technique was purposive sampling and the informants in this study were VD class teacher SDN 13 / I Rengas Condong. Data collection is taken by observation, interview, and collection techniques. Data analysis techniques were performed using qualitative models from Miles and Hubberman (reduction, display, data verification). The results showed that the classroom teacher had implemented authentic. While the authentic resent that the teacher has done are: 1). Attitude assessment is only done by observation techniques, while peer assessment and self-assessment techniques are not carried out on the grounds that the teacher manages the class and difficulties with the assessment criteria based on the rubric on the attitude assessment instruments in the book; 2). Further Attention. The questions given by the teacher to students are not in accordance with HOTS, this is because the teacher is only fixated on existing books and does not develop questions based on HOTS; 3). Related to the expertise and projects that have been carried out in practicum activities and student group work. Based on these results, it is undeniable that the HOTS-based authentic practice conducted by the VD grade teacher SDN 13/1 Rengas Condong, Muara Bulian has been going quite well. Suggestions that can be given, while asking teachers who follow the guidelines Get authentic according to the revised 2013 curriculum, and the teacher who asks can develop questions based on HOTS.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Jambi dalam mendesain batik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Jambi dan dosen pembimbing ekstrakulikuler seni rupa. Objek dalam penelitian ini yaitu Penerapan ekstrakulikuler seni rupa terhadap kemampuan mendesain batik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan wawancara. Adapun teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk uji keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Kegiatan ekstrakulikuler mendesain batik yang telah dilaksanakan di PGSD Universitas Jambi memiliki peran terhadap kemampuan mendesain batik sehingga mahasiswa mampu menghasilkan berbagai karyanya berupa desain batik. Kemampuan mendesain batik yang diajarkan oleh dosen pembimbing seni rupa dapat membuat mahasiswa mengeluarkan imajinasinya, berkreasi, mengembangkan kreativitas, berkarya, bakat, serta mengungkapkan perasaannya dan dituangkannya melalui desain batik.Kata kunci: ekstrakulikuler, mendesain batik, mahasiswa

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the role of teachers in developing student talent in  Teratai 34/I Primary Schools. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of phenomenological approach that is intended to describe a phenomenon experienced by the object of the researcher. The subjects in this study involved class teachers and students. Then, the research data were collected by observation and interview techniques, and supported by documentation. The conclusion of the research that has been done is that teachers at SDN 34 / I Lotus develop students' talents in both the academic and non-academic fields. Various attempts were made by teachers such as supporting by giving free time for additional learning in the academic field, as well as bringing in outside trainers for non-academic activities such as drum bands, karate, and scouts.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the teaching style  of the servant and honorarium teacher in elementary school number 55/I Sridadi on years 2019/2020. This research use qualitative descriptive. The collecting of the data were use observation and interview. Interview were do with servant, honorarium and head master in elementary school number 55/I Sridadi, Analysis data was use interactive model (Miles and Huberman) and to test the validity data use triangulation data. The result from this research got there is differentiate among servant and honorarium teacher in teaching style in elementary school number 55/I Sridadi on years 2019/2020.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melihat strategi guru dalam menanamkan karakter peduli sosial pada pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas disekolah dasar. Artikel ini dilatarbelakangi oleh menurunnya rasa empati terhadap orang lain, seperti bersikap egois, acuh tak acuh terhadap teman, tawuran antar siswa, dan kurangnya minat membantu teman yang kurang pandai. Oleh karena itu guru harus mempunyai srategi baru dalam menanamkan karakter peduli sosial kepada peserta didik pada pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas. Data diperoleh dari observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap guru kelas VIC SDN 55/I Sridadi. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan triangulasi data. Hasil Penelitian ditemukan bahwa strategi guru dalam menanamkan karakter peduli sosial pada pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas disekolah dasar yaitu pola pembiasaan, keteladanan, penguatan, teguran, dan pengkondisian lingkungan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa FIK Universitas Jambi dalam pembelajaran bola voli melalui penerapan modifikasi permainan target. Sedangkan manfaat penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kreatifitas mahasiswa porkes dalam permainan bolavoli. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan (Action Research), Penelitian tindakan merupakan salah satu bentuk rancangan penelitian, dimana dalam rancangan penelitian tindakan peneliti mendeskripsikan, menginterpretasikan dan menjelaskan suatu situasi sosial pada waktu yang bersamaan dengan melakukan perubahan atau intervensi dengan tujuan perbaikan atau partisipasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua siklus, dimana setiap siklus mempunyai langkah–langkah yang sistematis yang terdiri dari perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksiHasil penelitian pada siklus 1, rata-rata nilai mahasiswa 4.9, katagori mahasiswa yang kreatif tinggi sekali tidak ada, kreatif tinggi 2 orang, kreatif sedang 21 orang, kreatif kurang 14 orang. Siklus 2, rata-rata nilai mahasiswa 6, mahasiswa yang kreatif tinggi sekali 2 orang, kreatif tinggi 13 orang, kreatif sedang 17 orang , sedangkan kreatif kurang 4 orang. Dari kedua siklus tersebut tedapat peningkatan kreativitas melalui penerapan modifikasi permainan target terhadap pembelajaran bola voli. Kata Kunci : Kreatifitas, Modifikasi Permainan, Pembelajaran Bola Voli
