Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan representasi bentuk kekuasaan dalam wacana kelas di SMP Labschool Untad Palu tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini tergolong analisis wacana kritis (AWK). Model AWK yang diimplementasikan adalah model Norman Fairclough. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan melalui; (1) observasi, (2) teknik rekam, dan (3) catatan lapangan. Peneliti bertindak sebagai instrumen utama. Analisis data penelitian dilakukan melalui model Miles dan Huberman, yakni: (1) pengumpulan data, (2) reduksi data, (3) penyajian data, dan (4) penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat representasi bentuk kekuasaan dalam wacana kelas di SMP Labschool Untad Palu tahun ajaran 2015/2016 melalui tindak tutur. Tuturan tersebut akan merepresentasikan bentuk, yakni: (1) perintah, (2) permintaan, (3) larangan, (4) persilaan, (5) saran, (6) menilai, (7) memberitahukan. Dari tindak tutur tersebut terepresentasi bentuk kekuasaan yang menggunakan beberapa jenis kekuasaan, seperti: kekuasaan paksaan, kekuasaan absah, kekuasaan imbalan, dan kekuasaan keahlian

Abstract

This  research aims to determine and describe the contribution of rice farming in the (Mondau) field to the welfare of families in Watumerembe village Palangga district south Konawe Selatan. The method used is qualitative to carry out and describe the contribution of the results of rice farming in the ( Mondau ) field to the welfare of families in the village of Watumerembe palangga sub-district Konawe Selatan district based on the results of the study the results showed that: the contribution of the results pf the (Mondau) field rice family is a sense of security and happiness, the need for nutrition, education, health, housing, income.

Abstract

This study aimed to find the best medium for formulation and storage of B. subtilis. The study consisted of two phases: (1) Selection of agricultural wastes as a propagation medium for Bacillus subtilis, (2) test for the stability of Bacillus subtilis in material formulation and  its  inhibition  activity  against Rhizoctonia solani.  The  second  phase  was conducted based on completely randomized design, consisting of five treatments, namely: 100  %  medium  synthetic,  100%  coconut  water,  75%  coconut  water  +  25  %  synthetic medium, 50% coconut water + 50% synthetic medium and 25% coconut water + 75% synthetic medium. Each treatment was repeated three times, so that there were 15 experimental units. B. subtilis ST21e isolate was formulated in liquid medium according to treatment and kept in plastic container at room temperature for 8 weeks to count the number of colonies and inhibition activity every 2 weeks. The results showed that the agricultural wastes (coconut water, tofu water and molasses) can be used as a media for B. subtilis  ST21e  propogation  in  different  cell  growth  pattern.  B.  subtilis  propogation  in medium  coconut  water  +  10% TSB  had the  best growth pattern compared to the  other media. On the other hand, medium containing 25% coconut water + 75% synthetic medium was the best combination for storage medium of  B. subtilis ST21e. Key words: biological agents, Bacillus subtilis, agricultural waste

Abstract

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF COOPERATIVE INTEGRATED READING AND COMPOSITION (CIRC) LEARNING MODELS ON EXPOSITION WRITING ABILITY NEWS ON STUDENTS OF CLASS V SDI NO 21 BARRU DISTRICT SALOMONIThis study aims to examine the effectiveness of cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) learning model on the ability to write news expositions in grade V students of SDI No. 21 Salomoni Barru Regency. The type of research used in this research is experimental research. The research design used, namely quasi experiment form  Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. This research was conducted  in SDI No. 21 Salomoni Barru Regency. The population, namely the entire Va.  and VB students  of  42  students. Sampling techniques, namely saturated sampling.  The instrument used in this research is the task of writing simple sentences with data collection techniques, namely the assignment. The collected data is then analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics.The results showed that the ability to write news exposition using Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning in grade V students of SDI No. 21 Salomoni Barru District showed that students' understanding of writing news exposition texts showed an increase in the 9 students whose initial pretest implementation was still in the good category. While the ability to write news exposition without using Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning in grade V students of SDI No. 21 Salomoni Barru District from 22 students who participated in pretest before learning there were 12 students (54.5%) who have the ability to write news exposition texts that are in a very good categor. Furthermore, as many as 10 students (45.5%) who have the ability to write news exposition texts that are in a good categor. The results showed that in the implementation of pretest students the ability of students in writing news exposition texts is classified as effective. While in the posttest implementation after the implementation of CIRC learning obtained that the grades obtained by students are in the category of very effective. Thus, the implementation of learning using CIRC learning based on posttest results is declared effective.

Abstract

Biogas adalah salah satu sumber bioenergi alternatif yang dihasilkan dari fermentasi anaerob dari limbah organik. Limbah rumah tangga termasuk limbah yang belum banyak dimanfaatkan dan berpotensi menjadi biogas. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan metode fermentasi anaerob dengan menggunakan substrat limbah organik dari kulit pisang dan sisa sayur kubis, popok bayi bekas dan kotoran sapi sebagai starter dibuat dalam tiga komposisi. Perbandingan limbah organik, popok bayi bekas dan kotoran sapi pada Digester 1 yaitu, 4: 0: 6, pada Digester 2 yaitu 3: 1: 6 dan Digester 3 yaitu 2: 2: 6 dengan rasio C/N campuran substrat berturut-turut 17.17, 15.51 dan 13.85. Pengamatan fermentasi selama waktu retensi 21 hari, suhu didalam Digester relative sama setiap hari yaitu 25-29 oC pada pagi hari dan 31-34,5oC pada sore hari sehingga suhu digester sangat dipengaruhi suhu lingkungan. Hasil penelitian Digester 1 menghasilkan gas dengan tekanan optimal 1,0223 atm pada hari ke-10 dan gas tidak menyala. Adanya substrat popok bayi bekas pada Digester 2 dan Digester 3 menjadi inhibitor pencernaan anaerobic sehingga tidak menghasilkan gas. Analisis dengan Gas Cromatografi pada slurry biogas menunjukkan komposisi volatile fatty acid (VFA) sebagai substrat pembentukan gas metan pada Digester 1 mengandung asam asetat dan asam propionate, Digester 2 mengandung asam asetat dan asam butirat dan asam organik lain dan Digester 3 hanya mengandung asam organik lain.

Abstract

Pneumonia adalah infeksi yang menyebabkan peradangan pada paru-paru, sehingga kantung paru-paru terisi cairan infeksi. Penyakit ini bisa disebabkan oleh bakteri, virus, jamur, atau parasit, dengan gejala utama berupa demam, sesak napas, dan batuk. Metode penyuluhan ini melibatkan partisipasi langsung dari siswa SMA Santo Lukas Penginjil 1 Jakarta. Kegiatan ini dilakukan oleh anggota kelompok 7 dan 8 dari kelas Apoteker B 2024 pada tanggal 17 Oktober       2024. Data menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai pre-test adalah 87,29% sedangkan pada post- test mengalami peningkatan nilai rata-rata menjadi 95,65%. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penyuluhan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman siswa-siswi di SMA Santo Lukas Penginjil 1 Jakarta, dengan perubahan rata-rata sebesar 8,36 %.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the improvement of anecdotal text writing skills through the implementation of the Discovery Learning model assisted by the Canva application among ninth-grade students at SMPN 3 Luwuk Timur. The background of this research is based on the low ability of students to write anecdotal texts, which had not yet reached the minimum mastery standard, as well as the need for innovative learning approaches that can enhance students’ creativity and motivation. The research employed a descriptive quantitative approach with a classroom action research (CAR) design conducted over two cycles. The subjects of this study were all ninth-grade students at the school, totaling 23 participants. Data collection was carried out through anecdotal writing performance tests administered at the end of each cycle. Quantitative data analysis involved calculating the percentage of completeness, class average scores, and improvement in learning outcomes between cycles. The evaluation results in Cycle I showed an average score of 69.34 with a completeness rate of 52.17%. After improvements in the learning process during Cycle II, there was a significant increase, with the average score reaching 90.91 and the completeness rate rising to 90.91%. The findings indicate that the application of the Discovery Learning model assisted by Canva effectively enhances students’ ability to write anecdotal texts. Observations and questionnaire results also revealed that students responded very positively to the learning process. This instructional model encouraged students to be more active and independent in their learning. The study reinforces the effectiveness of integrating constructivist learning models with digital media to improve students’ writing skills and recommends that teachers adopt the Discovery Learning approach assisted by Canva to foster active, creative, innovative, and independent writing instruction at various educational levels.

Abstract

Purpose—This research aims to explore the transformative impact of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in improving engagement and creativity in short stories. It also discusses the limitations of the traditional method, which makes the teacher the center of the study and limits students' active participation and creative exploration.Methodology—Descriptive qualitative research was used, involving 17 students. This research was conducted in two weeks and implemented PjBL in three phases: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection methods included classroom observation, semi-structured interviews, and analysis of students' creative output. The collected data were analyzed based on engagement indicators, creativity dimensions, and narrative quality.Findings - The research revealed a significant increase in student engagement; 82% of students actively engaged in group discussion, and 88% responded to the teacher's instruction. The average creativity score was 3,55 out of 4, which was categorized as "Very High," specifically in originality and imaginative language use. The quality of the short story was scored "High," showing the strength in the originality of the theme and creativity of diction. Students highlight the PjBL characteristics of autonomy and collaboration as the main factors in enriching their learning experiences. This finding offers valuable knowledge for the teacher, curriculum designer, and policy maker to integrate an innovative student-centered pedagogical approach in writing instruction.Contribution—The combination of PjBL would enable the school to foster creativity, engagement, and problem-solving skills, equipping the students with the important competencies for the demands of 21st-century education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mengembangkan bahan ajar multimedia interaktif berbasis literasi kesehatan pada materi Bahasa Indonesia. Pengembangan bahan ajar tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkatkan minat dan kreativitas siswa dalam belajar secara daring. Selain itu, dalam proses pembelajaran siswa dapat mendapatkan pemahaman mengenai literasi kesehatan yang diitegrasikan Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah R&D (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model APPED. Tahap-tahap penelitian yakni (1) analisis dan penelitian awal, (2) perancangan, (3) produksi, (4) evaluasi, dan (5) desiminasi. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada pengembangan media pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia yang dikemas dalam bentuk video animasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data deskriptif dengan menggunakan dua variabel, yaitu (1) variabel penyusunan multimedia interaktif dan (2) variabel kesesuaian multimedia interaktif. Data yang diperoleh dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis. Sedangkan hasil validasi pendapatan persentase alpha testing sebesar 92,5% oleh ahli materi, 92,5% oleh ahli instruksional, dan 87,8% oleh ahli media. Maka, menurut ketiga ahli tersebut dinyatakan valid dan tergolong pada kriteria penilaian "Sangat Baik”. Hasil pengujian beta testing untuk nilai pre- test rata-ratanya sejumlah 68 kemudian meningkat menjadi 90 di atas KKM untuk penilaian post-test. Sehingga telah dikatagorikan "Tuntas” serta disimpulkan bahwasannya produk Multimedia Interaktif  Berbasis Kesehatan lebih baik dan layak untuk dipergunakan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas.
