Abstract

Competition in the business world is an interesting thing to always observe. The rapid spread of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) has led to high levels of competition. This service activity aims to provide an understanding regarding the calculation of discretionary fixed costs so that producers can calculate the desired profit level. The ability of MSME actors in this matter will be very beneficial for the development of their business. The target of this service activity is textile waste craftsmen who are in Menguneng Village, Pekalongan. Activities were carried out with the lecture method and practice calculations. Activities begin with initial coordination with partners to determine implementation time and equipment. Next, training was carried out in lectures and question and answer methods as well as calculation practice. Finally, monitoring and evaluation is carried out periodically. The results of the program show that the craftsmen understand the importance of calculating discretionary fixed costs for MSMEs. Furthermore, the craftsmen have been able to calculate the selling price of the product according to the profit target. Furthermore, it is hoped that there will be a positive synergy between the government and MSME craftsmen to increase product marketing.

Abstract

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia continues to strive for renewal and adaptation, including in the field of education. One way is by Implementing the Independent Curriculum (IKM). The IKM is an effort to catch up on learning losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic by returning school and local government authorities to manage their own education in accordance with conditions in their area. Even so, there are still many obstacles and confusion, especially for teachers in preparing for the learning process, one of which is in the education unit area of Semarang Regency. Teachers still do not optimally know the Learning Outcomes (CP), the formulation of Learning Objectives (TP), the preparation of Learning Objectives Flow (ATP) from Learning Objectives (TP), and the design of Teaching Modules. This service focuses on preparing differentiated teaching modules as a form of IKM acceleration. The method used is to conduct a workshop on preparing differentiated teaching modules based on the case method, followed by assistance in pre- and post-activity and program evaluation monitoring. This program targets partners, namely economics teachers, who are members of the Economics Subject Teacher Consultation (MGMP) throughout Semarang Regency. The results of this activity showed that teachers were very interested and able to improve the skills and understanding of teachers in preparing differentiated modules. The suggestion for this activity is that the relevant agencies always provide training in preparing differentiated teaching modules until all teachers follow, and in the future, it is hoped that the relevant parties and many universities will carry out evaluation training in the independent curriculum.

Abstract

Merdeka curriculum has been implemented in schools for a few years, but there are still some obstacles to its implementation. Teachers find it difficult to design learning tools, starting from reducing learning outcomes to learning objectives and the flow of learning objectives. One of the solutions is the use of concept maps, which are assisted by the MindMeister application. The goal is for teachers to implement it into a flow of learning objectives. The method of implementing this service is in the form of training teachers with a practical approach. The result of this service is that teachers better understand how to create effective and visually interactive concept maps of learning objectives to plan, organize, and understand learning objectives. This helps teachers and students in carrying out the learning process in a more structured and focused manner. The use of information technology-based applications is very helpful for teachers in learning activities. Teachers must always adapt to any changes and improve their competence with consistent and continuous training, especially related to the use of information technology in learning.

Abstract

The background of this activity is the gap between active craftsmen and new craftsmen. This is a concern for weaving actors/craftsmen in Barong hamlet, Kedungrejo village, Tanjunganom District, Nganjuk regency. If no action is taken, the weaving culture will become extinct. On the one hand, weaving is a cultural heritage that must be maintained and preserved, but on the other hand, weaving is a promising source of income. Carrying out training activities to improve human resources for these weaving craftsmen means that two goals can be achieved at once, namely preserving ancestral culture and improving the welfare of weaving craftsmen which will have an impact on the community in general. The method chosen in implementing this activity was to provide basic weaving training for beginners, which continued with training so that it was hoped that they could become proficient. This activity was carried out in Barong hamlet, Kedungrejo village, Tanjunganom District, Nganjuk regency. The result of implementing this activity was the growth of new craftsmen who started from beginners/laymen about weaving and are now able to increase family income through weaving crafts.
