Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the pedagogic competence of PAI teachers in applying varied learning models on student motivation and learning outcomes. The background of this research is the need for more varied learning strategies to improve student motivation and learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative approach with a multiple regression method. The subject of the study was grade VIII students at SMPN 2 Beringin Satu Atap, with a sample of 39 students selected through the total sampling technique. Data is collected using questionnaires or questionnaires, tests, and observations. The results of the study show that varied learning models have a positive effect on student motivation and learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the Sig. (2-tailed) values of 0.096 and 0.156 which are greater than 0.05. The conclusion of this study is that the motivation and learning outcomes of students after being given the learning model vary better than before. This study has implications that the application of varied learning can be a reference for teachers in improving learning effectiveness in terms of content, strategies, methods, and teaching approaches.

Abstract

How to increase the profits (profitability) for MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) is to facilitate the economic empowerment. The aim of implementing service to MSMEs in the Muhammadiyah area in Medan is to find the various problems of MSMEs which only gain profits when Muhammadiyah enterprises activities in educational schools. MSMEs tend to stagnate in terms of their profit and product levels, in addition to the minimal role of Muhammadiyah leadership in providing moral and material support (financing). The results of dedication to empowering MSMEs in the Muhammadiyah area of Medan include creating strategies including collaboration between MSMEs in the Muhammadiyah enterprises in Medan by selling products to Muhammadiyah members and sympathizers. Apart from that, MSME product innovation is really needed in order to provide interest to (potential) consumers not only in the market segment within the Muhammadiyah area, but also outdoor Muhammadiyah area. The final solution in this empowerment is the concern of Muhammadiyah enterprises leaders and Muhammadiyah leadership as Muhammadiyah enterprises management towards MSMEs to provide moral and material support (providing access to financing) in the Muhammadiyah economic movement

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan guna mengidentifikasi peran serta tanggung jawab orang tua pada menanamkan nilai-nilai agama, serta beragam kendala dan solusi yang dihadapi orang tua pada proses ini di Kelurahan Gunting Saga. Penelitian ini memakai pendekatan kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data deskriptif lewat wawancara, diskusi kelompok, analisis dokumen, dan observasi langsung. Temuan penelitian membuktikan bahwasanya nilai-nilai agama yang diajarkan kepada anak-anak meliputi nilai akhlak, ibadah, aqidah, dan adab. Metode yang diterapkan mencakup teladan, pembiasaan, pemberian nasihat, dan dialog. Hasilnya, anak-anak mampu melangsungkan shalat, membaca Al-Qur'an, dan menyimpan sikap rendah hati. Proses ini dilangsungkan di beragam tempat dan waktu. Pada peran mereka selaku ayah dan ibu, lingkungan keluarga serta lingkungan sosial berpengaruh pada proses penanaman nilai agama; faktor pendukungnya yakni lingkungan keluarga, sedangkan faktor penghambatnya meliputi lingkungan sosial, keterbatasan waktu, dan kurangnya pengetahuan orang tua. Solusi yang diambil orang tua yakni dengan memberikan pengawasan atas anak-anak remajanya. Kata Kunci: Peran, Orang Tua, pendidikan

Abstract

Kepemimpinan Muhammadiyah telah menjadi pilar penting dalam perjalanan organisasi ini sejak didirikan oleh KH Ahmad Dahlan. Berakar pada nilai-nilai Islam yang luhur seperti amar ma’ruf nahi munkar dan musyawarah, kepemimpinan Muhammadiyah telah mengalami evolusi seiring dinamika zaman. Makalah ini mengkaji secara mendalam sejarah kepemimpinan Muhammadiyah, mulai dari prinsip-prinsip awal hingga praktik kepemimpinan kontemporer. Abstract

Artikel ini membahas peran Muhammadiyah dalam politik Indonesia melalui pendekatan politik inklusif yang berlandaskan pada prinsip Daarul Ahdi Wasyahadah. Dengan tidak terlibat langsung dalam politik praktis, Muhammadiyah berfungsi sebagai kekuatan moral yang berkontribusi dalam penguatan civil society, advokasi kebijakan publik, dan pemeliharaan stabilitas nasional. Gagasan Daarul Ahdi Wasyahadah menegaskan Indonesia sebagai negara kesepakatan yang harus dijaga oleh semua pihak, termasuk umat Islam, dalam rangka mencapai keadilan dan kesejahteraan sosial. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan politik identitas dan dinamika politik yang berkembang, Muhammadiyah tetap menegakkan prinsip moderasi Islam dan berkomitmen terhadap demokrasi yang inklusif. Dengan pendekatan tersebut, Muhammadiyah terus berperan aktif dalam menciptakan tatanan politik yang adil, inklusif, dan berkeadaban, sekaligus menjaga relevansinya dalam kehidupan politik Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning using Problem Based Learning. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. The data for this study were obtained using test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that Learning through Problem Based Learning can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 40.89%, the first cycle 68.87% and in the second cycle increased to 90.32%. Thus, Learning through Problem Based Learning can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning

Abstract

Concrete operational thinking skills are important for elementary school students to understand religious concepts. There are still difficulties in applying these concepts in everyday life, including in Islamic Religious Education subjects. This study aims to analyze the concrete operational thinking of elementary school students in Islamic religious learning. The background of this study is multi-site at SDN 101933 Perbaungan, SDN 101929 Perbaungan, and SDN 108293 Perbaungan. This study uses qualitative with case study method in revealing natural phenomena in schools. Data acquisition using observation, interview and documentation methods. Data analysis is done inductively, namely by analyzing the data as a whole to then draw conclusions. Data validity testing uses research data triangulation techniques. The results of this study concluded that students' thinking in Islamic Religious Education learning in the three schools was at the concrete operational stage. However, when faced with abstract concepts such as spiritual meaning or deeper ethical values, students showed difficulty in linking these concepts to real-life situations. The method used by teachers is to use a more interactive, experience-based and contextual learning approach to help students connect religious concepts with everyday life.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of the Reciprocal Teaching model in improving student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects in class VI of SDN 102062 Bangun Bandar. This Reciprocal Teaching Model, which involves interactive dialogue-based teaching strategies between teachers and students, is applied to build students' understanding skills, problem solving, and reflective abilities regarding teaching materials. This study uses a qualitative research type using a case study approach, which focuses on the application of the Reciprocal Teaching method in class VI SDN 102062 Bangun Bandar. Data collection in this study was obtained through interviews, observations, documentation, or focus group discussions (FGD). Data analysis techniques obtained following interactive miles-huberman include: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data analysis techniques with triangulation and member crosscheck. The results of this study indicate that the application of the reciprocal teaching model is effective in increasing learning activities for elementary school students in grade VI, totaling 14 males and 21 females. The form of implementation is reviewed from, first, students are grouped to discuss and teach the material to their classmates. Second, training students' critical thinking skills. Third, training students' communication skills. Fourth, teachers can evaluate students' mastery of the material. Fifth, achieving students' learning completion targets. The obstacles in implementing the reciprocal teaching model are the lack of seriousness of some students in preparing themselves to become teachers for their classmates and some students often laugh at friends who act as teachers, thus ruining the learning atmosphere. The solutions implemented include providing students with an understanding of the importance of their role as teachers, establishing a supportive classroom culture with clear rules, and active supervision by teachers to maintain a conducive classroom atmosphere.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran organisasi Aisyiyah dalam pemberdayaan perempuan untuk mencapai kesetaraan gender di Indonesia. Pemberdayaan perempuan menjadi upaya penting untuk mengatasi ketimpangan gender dan mendukung pembangunan bangsa, terutama dalam konteks pendidikan, sosial, ekonomi, dan kesehatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif berbasis penelitian kepustakaan dengan menelaah literatur primer dan sekunder yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Muhammadiyah, melalui organisasi otonom Aisyiyah, memiliki kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup perempuan. Filosofi gerakan Muhammadiyah yang progresif dan berbasis pada nilai-nilai Islam mendorong perempuan untuk aktif dalam ranah publik melalui pendidikan, dakwah, dan pemberdayaan ekonomi. Aisyiyah mendirikan berbagai amal usaha seperti sekolah, rumah sakit, koperasi, dan pelatihan keterampilan untuk menciptakan perempuan yang mandiri, berdaya, dan berkontribusi terhadap masyarakat. Selain itu, program literasi dan advokasi hak-hak perempuan yang dijalankan oleh Aisyiyah juga memperkuat peran perempuan dalam kehidupan keluarga, masyarakat, dan negara. Kesimpulannya, upaya Aisyiyah dalam pemberdayaan perempuan tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas individu perempuan, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada perubahan sosial yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan. Dengan model perjuangan yang berbasis nilai-nilai Islam dan keterbukaan terhadap perubahan zaman, Aisyiyah menjadi pelopor penting dalam memperjuangkan kesetaraan gender dan keadilan sosial di Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain the following: the content of the ISMUBA curriculum for Muhammadiyah Middle Schools in Medan City, the content of the AIK curriculum utilized in the UMSU PAI study program, and the relevance of the AIK curriculum content of the PAI UMSU study program to the requirements of the ISMUBA SMP Muhammadiyah school in Medan City. This kind of study is qualitative and employs focus groups, content analysis, and interview techniques. The study's findings indicate that the first four courses in the AIK PAI UMSU curriculum are Islamic Science and Technology, Muhammadiyahan; Worship and Mu'amalah; and Religious Education (al-Islam). Second, there is a wide range of subjects in the ISMUBA curriculum for Muhammadiyah Middle Schools in Medan City, including both Al-Islamic and Muhammadiyah instruction. Meanwhile, the 2013 SMP/MT curriculum is used in Arabic language instruction; however, the learning materials used vary throughout schools. Third, on average, 65.5% of the material of the Ismuba curriculum (Al-Islam et al.) for Muhammadiyah Middle Schools in Medan City is relevant to the AIK subject of the PAI Study Program. Other courses provided to UMSU PAI Study Program students, such as Tahsin Al-Quran courses, History of Islamic Civilization, Insya' Muhadatsah, Tarbawi Tafsir, Tarbawi Hadith, Ushul Fiqh, and Contemporary Fiqh, augment the questionable relevance of the AIK content.
