Abstract

Baby massage is slow and gentle stroking movements throughout the baby's body starting from the baby's feet, stomach, chest, face, hands and back. Baby massage is a form of tactile stimulation. Tactile stimuli are the most important in development. The sensation of touch is the most developed sensory at birth. Baby massage stimulation can help the baby's growth and development process, and is part of the bonding process between mother and child. The aim of this community service is to provide training to increase mothers' knowledge and skills in performing baby massage. Participants in this baby massage training are mothers who have babies aged 1 – 12 months who are at the Tamalanrea Health Center. Activities include providing baby massage material, demonstrations, and direct practice of baby massage. Evaluation of increased knowledge is carried out using pre and post tests. The results showed that there was good knowledge of 83.3%, and participants were able to do baby massage well. In conclusion, community service in the form of training increases mothers' knowledge and skills in carrying out baby massage.

Abstract

Preparation for maternal health must begin when a woman is planning a pregnancy, during pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum and breastfeeding period, the period of using family planning contraception until old age, while the baby's health must be considered from the time the fetus is in the womb, during the birth process, when it is just born. , babies, toddlers, pre-school children, school years to teenagers. The aim of this community service activity is to increase participants' knowledge and motivation in efforts to accelerate the reduction of maternal mortality rates requiring cross-sector support, especially in empowering husbands, wives, families and the community in planning childbirth and being prepared to face obstetric and neonatal complications. Method of community service activities through education and training for husbands who are ready to standby. in the working area of ​​the Manisa Community Health Center, Manisa Village. The results of community service activities through education and training for husband and wife couples who have been implemented have had a positive impact on the knowledge of mothers of reproductive age in the working area of ​​the Manisa Community Health Center, Manisa Village.

Abstract

Normal labor and birth is the process of expelling a fetus that occurs at term pregnancy (37-42 weeks), spontaneous birth with a posterior presentation, without complications for either the mother or fetus. The aim of the research is to be able to provide and implement nursing care for mothers with spontaneous post partum back of the head at Barru Hospital. The research method used was a case study method where the sample used was 1 respondent diagnosed with a mother with postpartum spontaneous back. The results of Spontaneous Post Partum Nursing Care for the Back of the Head at Barru Hospital found 2 nursing problems, namely Acute Pain and Risk of Infection. Providing nursing care lasts 2 x 24 hours. The conclusion is that the problem of post partum spontaneous back of the head nursing in hospitals can be resolved.

Abstract

The early childhood group is a group that is vulnerable to nutritional problems. Mothers' low knowledge about nutrition, infectious diseases and poor snacking habits often cause nutritional problems in early childhood. The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge about nutrition, infectious diseases and snack habits with the nutritional status of early childhood children in Kindergarten in Garessi. This research method is an analytical survey with a cross sectional research design with a total sampling technique. This research was conducted on April 13 2023 using univariate and bivariate analysis with the chi-square test. The research results showed that there was a relationship between maternal knowledge and the nutritional status of early childhood with ap value of 0.004, infectious diseases with the nutritional status of early childhood with ap value of 0.001 and snack habits with the nutritional status of early childhood with ap value of 0.004. The conclusion is that the majority of mothers' knowledge about nutrition is lacking, namely 70.7%, 61% of young children who experience infectious diseases, 56.1% of young children who have bad snack habits and 56.1% of young children who experience abnormal nutritional status namely 53.7%. The research team hopes that mothers will maintain nutritional status in early childhood and prevent children from snacking carelessly.

Abstract

Students' knowledge and skills to be able to perform baby bathing and umbilical cord care properly and correctly are very much needed in carrying out health services. The purpose of Community Service is to assess and find out the description of students' skills on how to bathe babies properly and safely. The method used in Community Service activities is a direct examination of students who are implementing the practice of baby bathing and umbilical cord care for newborns. The results of community service obtained the level of student skills in the practice of baby bathing and umbilical cord care for newborns are skilled 23 students (77%) and unskilled as many as 7 students (23%). The conclusion is that the increase in students' skills and knowledge in bathing babies from the beginning which was still lacking and finally students know and understand the importance of carrying out health services.

Abstract

The function of play and interaction in games has an important role in children's cognitive and social development. Playing gives a relaxing effect to children. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between playing patterns and the cognitive development of preschool children. This research method is a quantitative study with a survey analysis research design with a cross-sectional study approach. The sampling technique used was a total sampling of 30 students. The instrument used was a questionnaire sheet. The results of the analysis of the relationship between play patterns and cognitive development showed that there was a relationship between play patterns and cognitive development, this was based on the results of the chi square test showing that α <0.05 with a value of α = 0.033. The conclusion of this study There is a relationship between play patterns and cognitive development in Kindergarten.

Abstract

Imunisasi adalah suatu cara untuk meningkatkan kekebalan seseorang secara aktif terhadap suatu penyakit, sehingga bila kelak terpapar dengan penyakit tersebut tidak akan menderita penyakit tersebut karena system imun tubuh mempunyai system memori (daya ingat), ketika vaksin masuk kedalam tubuh maka akan dibentuk antibody untuk melawan vaksin tersebut dan system memori akan menyimpannya sebagai sutau pengalaman. Desain penelitian ini adalah studi kasus dengan metode deskriptif yaitu suatu metode yang dilakukan dengan tujuan utama untuk memaparkan atau membuat gambaran tentang studi keadaan secara obyektif yang dilakukan dengan cara meneliti suatu permasalahan melalui suatu proses yang terdiri dari unit tunggal. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa setelah dilakukan imunisasi vaksinasi yang tepat dan cermat sertadidukung kerja sama yang baik oleh keluarga pasien dan pasien sendiri maka dengan imunisasi tidak muncul demam ringan, infeksi ringan pada saluran nafas dan diare karena antisipasi yang tepat. Kesimpulan didapatkan bahwa Imunisasi di Puskesmas Liukang Kalmas. peneliti tidak menemukan kesenjangan dalam menetapkan pelaksanaan secara menyeluruh, untuk mengatasi demam pada anak, anjurkan ibu untuk tetap memberikan makanan bergizi, anjurkan ibu untuk tetap menjaga kesehatan dan gizi anak serta anjurkan ibu untuk datang ke tenaga kesehatan bila ada keluhan.

Abstract

One of the complications of spontaneous abortion is bleeding which if not treated quickly can increase maternal mortality rates. Vaginal bleeding is a common complaint that is often encountered and is a fairly high cause of a woman coming to the hospital, especially if it is known or suspected that there is a pregnancy. This study is a type of analytical survey, the design of this study is an observational analytical study with a cross-sectional approach. Samples were taken using a purposive sampling technique. The results of the cross-tabulation of the relationship between the age of pregnant women and the incidence of abortion obtained the results that at the age of pregnant women who are at risk, most experience abortion (92.3 % ), while the age of pregnant women who are not at risk mostly do not experience abortion (84.3%). The conclusion is that there is a fairly strong relationship between the age of pregnant women and the incidence of abortion of 0.592 (based on the Contingency Coefficient test).
