Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze news texts in Liputan6.com media through Roger Fowler's critical discourse analysis model. The background of this research was carried out as a form of researchers' anxiety about the development of information in digital media. Discourse has a great influence in conveying information on events that occur in society so this research needs to be done. This model is divided into two parts, namely vocabulary and grammar. The theory used is that vocabulary makes classifications and vocabulary limits view. Grammar affects the form of the passive voice and the interpretation that occurs in the news. This research is descriptive in nature. This research design was chosen because through this research it is possible to get an overview of how media build media. The data taken in this study is qualitative data, namely data in the form of news text from the online media Liputan6.com. The selected news is only news about news that occurs in the community. The results of this study indicate (1) The use of limiting words in five news stories, namely there are eighteen words that limit views and are invited to think about understanding the news. (2) The use of passive sentence grammar contained in the five news stories, namely there are seven effect passive sentences which contain the information obtained or the meaning produced in the news. (3) There are five interpretations of the news which have their own views in expressing all matters related to the information to be conveyed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Pemberitaan Media Online Kumparan.com Tetang Pelaku Asusila Seorang Ustad Berdasarkan Teori Sarra Mills. Berdasarkan judul tersebut, penulis mengungkap masalah representasi ustad dalam teks-teks berita yang dimuat dalam media online kumparan.com periode Desember 2021 dan Januari 2022. Teks berita tersebut dikupas berdasarkan pandangan pembaca setelah membaca pemberitaan tersebut. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan teori Sara Mills berkenaan dengan analisis wacana kritis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Dengan demikian penulis akan menjelaskan berita tentang perilaku asusila seorang ustadz dengan menggunakan kata-kata dari data yang telah dikumpulkan. Penelitian ini, mengingat lamanya waktu, penulis membatasi pada pemberitaan tentang perilaku asusila seorang ustadz di Bandung pada media online kumparan.com edisi Desember 2021 sampai Januari 2022. Teknik pengumpulan datanya berupa wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil wawancara dan dokumentasi dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian terhadap pemberitaan perilaku asusila seorang ustadz di Bandung menunjukkan bahwa ada kecenderungan memarjinalkan terhadap profesi ustadz dan lembaga pondok pesantren. Hasil lainya adalah bahwa pembaca dalam setiap penceritaan selalu diposisikan menjadi bagian dalam teks yang integral.

Abstract

This community service program aimed at enhancing the ability of Indonesian Language teachers in Garut and Sumedang to develop differentiated instructional materials for teaching procedural writing skills based on local wisdom. Through a collaborative mentoring approach, teachers were equipped to integrate local wisdom into procedural text teaching, making the material more relevant and contextual to students' lives. The program demonstrated significant improvement in teachers' understanding and practical skills in designing instructional materials that reflect local culture. The evaluation results showed a notable increase in teachers' ability to create and implement differentiated materials in the classroom. This initiative is expected to have a long-term positive impact on the quality of teaching and procedural writing skills in these regions.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berfokus pada pelatihan guru Bahasa Indonesia di Kabupaten Garut untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar digital interaktif berbasis isu lokal. Inisiatif ini bertujuan meningkatkan minat literasi dan apresiasi sastra siswa di jenjang SMA. Dilaksanakan dalam tiga sesi intensif di SMA 18 Garut, melibatkan MGMP Bahasa Indonesia Kab. Garut, program ini berhasil meningkatkan literasi digital guru dan kemampuan mereka mengintegrasikan kekayaan budaya lokal ke dalam konten pembelajaran yang menarik. Peserta menghasilkan beragam prototipe digital interaktif, mulai dari e-book cerita rakyat hingga analisis puisi kaya visual. Pendekatan praktis ini mendorong pergeseran paradigma pengajaran, menjadikan sastra lebih relevan dan mudah diakses. Program ini juga memperkuat komunitas belajar profesional guru, menjamin inovasi berkelanjutan dalam pendidikan sastra.
