Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the Teams Game Tournament (TGT) and Genius Learning models in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in the digital era. Two groups of students were tested with the TGT model, and two others were tested with the Genius Learning model. The instruments used included comprehension tests, observations, and questionnaires about learning motivation. Data were analyzed using statistical tests. The research results show that both learning models improve students' understanding of Islam. The TGT model is more effective in enhancing cognitive and collaborative aspects, while Genius Learning is better at creating enjoyable learning experiences and improving the retention of PAI material. The statistical test results showed a significant difference between the two models (p < 0.05). Integrating technology in both models makes learning more relevant to the student's environment. In conclusion, both learning models can enhance students' understanding of Islam in the digital era. The TGT model excels in cognitive and collaborative aspects, while Genius Learning is more effective in enhancing material retention. Combining collaborative approaches and enjoyable learning experiences can overcome learning difficulties in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of the Talaqqi learning model on students’ Qur’an memorisation ability in the Al-Qur’an Hadith subject. Employing a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a posttest-only control group design, the study involved a sample of 63 eleventh-grade students selected through simple random sampling. The experimental group received instruction using the Talaqqi method, while the control group was taught using the Wahdah method. Memorisation ability was assessed based on three indicators: fluency, tajwid accuracy, and clarity of recitation. The research instrument was a questionnaire comprising 12 items, of which 5 were validated, yielding a reliability score of 0.740. Data were analysed using an independent sample t-test. The results indicated that the Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.082 > 0.05, and the t-value did not exceed the critical t-table value, leading to the acceptance of H₀. Thus, it can be concluded that there was no significant difference between the Talaqqi and Wahdah methods in enhancing students’ Qur’an memorisation ability. These findings suggest that while both methods are applicable, the Talaqqi model does not offer a statistically significant advantage over the Wahdah method. Educators may consider selecting between the two approaches based on contextual needs, teaching style, and student preferences.

Abstract

THE SUBORDINATION OF WOMEN AND ITS IMPLICATION TO HOUSEHOLD: Women in general are in the oppressed, persecuted  and deprived.  Islam teaches  the  respect  feeling and cherishes one other. This paper examines the perspective of feminism. The subordination of women is rooted in a set of constraints   and  cultural  practices  that  hinder  women’s  access to the opportunity to compete fairly with men. This process happened   through   the   customs   in   the   family,   community, education institutional that provide the role to place the women in number 2 in public. Therefore, the women leadership in domestic and  public  area  can’t  be defined  as  the  superior  especially  in physically sense but also it can be interpreted  the capability  of the women. So, basically everybody has the ability to be a leader. This thing continued to be done by the group of feminism in spite of getting  challenges and some obstacle  of the group that  focus on the patriarchal  culture and religion with the understanding  of religious –legal- formal. The group aligns the role of women by men so that there is no subordination,  marginalization,  violence, persecution  and injustice  which have covered the independence of the rights of women.
