Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui: (1) Model pembelajaran tipe NHT lebih efektif daripada tipe TPS. (2) Siswa motivasi belajar tinggi lebih efektif daripada siswa dengan motivasi sedang dan rendah (3) Interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan motivasi belajar siswa. (4) Peningkatan hasil belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran tipe TPS dan tipe NHT. Sampel yang diambil yaitu kelas VII A dan VII B dengan jumlah siswa 60 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Hasil belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran tipe NHT lebih efektif daripada yang diajar dengan tipe TPS dengan selisih rata-rata nilai 0,16. (2) Hasil uji analisis anava menunjukkan Fobs = 115,85 dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05 yang menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa yang mempunyai motivasi tinggi lebih efektif daripada siswa dengan motivasi sedang dan rendah, serta siswa yang mempunyai motivasi sedang lebih efektif daripada siswa motivasi rendah. (3) Terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran tipe TPS dan model pembelajaran tipe NHT pada siswa yang mempunyai motivasi tinggi, sedang maupun rendah terhadap hasil belajar matematika F =1,58 > Ftabel=0,215. (4) Terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran tipe TPS dan tipe NHT, diperoleh n-Gain sebesar 0,34 pada kategori sedang.Kata kunci: TPS, NHT, Motivasi, Hasil Belajar Matematika, Bilangan Bulat

Abstract

Science learning focuses on students' direct experience through scientific activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of problem-based learning (PBL) and guided inquiry learning model (GIL) on science process skills (SPS) in science subjects in class VII SMP Negeri 14 Kendari. The research method used is quasi-experimental. The PBM model is taught in the experimental class, namely class VII with 34 students and the PIT model is taught in class VII with 35 students. KPS data collection techniques through observation during the implementation of learning. Data analysis using SPSS with independent sample t test. The results of data analysis showed tcount = 28,628 > ttable = 1.996, so it can be said that the PBM model students had a significant effect compared to the PIT model on the science process skills of class VII SMP Negeri 14 Kendari.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve cognitive abilities through the use of digital learning media Baamboozle in group B at Kindergarten Aba Wasur II Merauke which will be held in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The subjects in this study were the children of Aba Wasur II Merauke Kindergarten, totaling 11 students consisting of 5 girls and 6 boys with an age range of 5-6 years. Based on the analysis of the teacher's teaching activity data in the first cycle, it reached 78.61%. Cycle one children's learning activities reached 71.47%. The learning outcomes of students in improving cognitive abilities through digital learning media Baamboozle in cycle one reached 54.58%. Cycle two shows that the analysis of teacher teaching activities has increased to 92.9%. The second cycle of children's learning activities experienced an increase of 92.9%. Based on the learning outcomes of students in improving cognitive abilities through digital learning media Baamboozle in cycle two it reached 90.9%. Thus it can be concluded that cognitive abilities can be improved through digital learning media Baamboozle in group B at TK Aba Wasur II Merauke.

Abstract

Salah satu penyebab mata pelajaran IPA kurang diminati peserta didik di SD YPPK Hati Kudus Merauke adalah cara menyampaikan materi dari guru yang tidak menarik dan sifatnya kontekstual. Perlu pendekatan dan memerlukan media pembelajaran yang tepat sehingga peserta didik bisa memahami materi dan manfaatnya dalam konteks kehidupan nyata. Salah satunya adalah memanfaatkan melalui Kahoot diharapkan guru mampu menguasai perkembangan zaman dan selalu update informasi terkini dalam memberikan materi kepada peserta didik maupun penggunaan media. Aplikasi Kahoot hadir pada zaman sekarang dimana pada masa ini kecanggihan teknologi sangat cepat. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa guru dapat menggunakan aplikasi Kahoot sehingga jika diaplikasikan ke peserta didik membuat peserta didik merasa senang karena bentuk soalnya berupa media interaktif yang bisa dikerjakan dan langsung mengetahui nilainya.

Abstract

Digital learning media management is a crucial skill required by the heads of educational institutions to navigate the digital era. This research aims to depict: (1) the challenges faced by the leaders of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) institutions in Merauke City in managing technomedia in the learning process, and (2) the strategies employed by these leaders to overcome challenges in technomedia management during the learning process. The informants for this study were purposefully sampled from school principals in Merauke City. The primary challenges confronted by school principals in managing digital learning media in Early Childhood Education institutions (PAUD) include the availability of adequate technological resources, the development of teachers' skills in using technology, and the management of student data security and privacy. School principals also need to take into account parental involvement in supporting the use of digital media at home and ensure that technology use remains balanced with the physical and social activities of children. To tackle these challenges, strategies employed by school principals include organizing training and developing teachers' skills in technology use, selecting quality digital learning content, and establishing clear policies and guidelines related to technology use. Additionally, careful monitoring of students' technology use and maintaining a balance between technology use and traditional learning experiences are also emphasized. By implementing these strategies, PAUD school principals can effectively manage digital learning media, enhance the quality of early childhood education, and ensure that technology is used judiciously in the learning process.

Abstract

Kurangnya keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) di kelas 7 yang mengakibatkan semangat belajar mereka kurang optimal. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kesulitan guru dalam memotivasi siswa untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan tingkat keaktifan belajar siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning berbantuan media Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 7A di sebuah SMP di Provinsi Papua Selatan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi terhadap tingkat keaktifan siswa selama pembelajaran, melibatkan guru mata pelajaran, dan seorang observer melalui platform Zoom Meeting. Hasil observasi digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat keaktifan siswa, dengan analisis perbandingan antara siklus I dan siklus II. Penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning berbantuan media LKPD terbukti efektif, menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dari 25% keaktifan siswa pada siklus I menjadi sekitar 70% pada siklus II. Implikasi penelitian ini memberikan referensi bagi guru dan sekolah dalam meningkatkan metode pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, yang berpotensi meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa di masa depan.

Abstract

The research aims to improve the literacy and numeracy of class II students at SD Negeri 2 Merauke in the odd semester of the academic year 2023/2024. This research is a classroom action research with full participation research and was carried out in two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were 19 students of class 2. Data collection techniques were observation, documentation and interviews to determine student responses to the learning process. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the implementation of the TaRL approach assisted by Augmented Reality (AR) media increased student literacy and numeracy in cycle I, student literacy was 47.37%, while for numeracy it was 42.11%. While in cycle II literacy and numeracy increased by 47.37%. 84.21% and in numeracy it was 78.95%. Based on this research, it can be concluded that using the TaRL approach assisted by Augmented Reality (AR) media can increase the literacy and numeracy of students at SD Negeri 2 Merauke.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of pictorial storytelling media on the speaking abilities of children aged 5-6 years at the Pembina Merauke State Kindergarten. This research is quantitative research with the type of research used is an experiment in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research was carried out in group B of the Pembina Merauke State Kindergarten. The research sample was children from the B2 group at the Pembina Merauke State Kindergarten, even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 23 children. The data collection techniques used were observation and documentation. Data analysis used paired sample t-test. The research results obtained from the t test, namely the significance value (0.000) was less than 0.05, so that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is pictorial storytelling media on the speaking abilities of children aged 5-6 years at the Pembina Merauke State Kindergarten.

Abstract

Kurikulum yang terus diperbaharui dan diimplementasikan di unit-unit sekolah selalu membawa implikasi signifikan dalam penerapannya di lapangan, termasuk dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran. Efektivitas dan efisiensi penggunaan media interaktif sangat bergantung pada prosedur pembuatan yang tepat. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi teori dan praktik kepada seluruh guru di Sekolah SMP Yapis Merauke Merauke agar memiliki keterampilan dalam pembuatan dan penyajian media interaktif sebagai alat bantu mengajar. Metode kegiatan ini mencakup tahap-tahap pelatihan, penerapan, serta pendampingan secara bertahap dan berkelanjutan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah pengembangan produk media interaktif oleh peserta kegiatan, mulai dari media sederhana seperti presentasi PowerPoint hingga aplikasi media pembelajaran lainnya seperti Baamboozle, Kahoot, dan Worlwall, yang sesuai dengan berbagai mata pelajaran. Peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman guru SMP Yapis Merauke Merauke meningkat seiring dengan manfaat besar penggunaan media interaktif dalam menyelaraskan materi pembelajaran dengan kurikulum sekolah.     Abstract: The constantly updated and implemented curriculum in school units always carries significant implications in its application in the field, including the use of instructional media. The effectiveness and efficiency of using interactive media heavily rely on the proper creation procedures. This dedication aims to provide theoretical and practical information to all teachers at SMP Yapis Merauke Merauke School, enabling them to develop skills in creating and presenting interactive media as teaching aids. The methods employed in this activity encompass stages of training, application, as well as gradual and sustained mentoring. The outcome of this dedication is the development of interactive media products by the participants, ranging from simple media such as PowerPoint presentations to other educational media applications like Baamboozle, Kahoot, and Worlwall, suitable for various subjects. The increased knowledge and understanding of teachers at SMP Yapis Merauke Merauke are enhanced through the significant benefits of using interactive media to align teaching materials with the school curriculum.

Abstract

The use of school uniform has a long history in Indonesian education system since the Dutch colonial era. This article discusses various stakeholders’ perspective on the policy of school uniform, wheter it has positive or negative impact on students. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a semi-structured interview method to describe various stakeholders’ perspective regarding the usage of school uniforms in educational institutions.  The participants of this study are principals, students, teachers, and guardians. This paper describes different views between those who believe that school uniforms bring a positive impact on students and those who oppose the use of school uniforms and considered its usage will limit the pupil’s freedom of learning. The advocate of school uniforms belive that school uniforms can instill discipline, a sense of nationalism, reduce visible social inequalities, and reduce the risk of violence. While the opponents of the school uniform policy consider that school uniforms' usage limit pupil’s freedom of learning, and reduce their chance to learn about tolerance, and increases the risk of conflict between schools.
