Abstract

Kelan Beach is one of the tourist attractions that until now has become a tourist location that is crowded with local and foreign tourists. Tourism is an attraction for tourists visiting Kelan Beach. The problem encountered in this research is that there is no accommodation or tourist attraction so that tourism in Kelan Beach has not developed well and the role of stakeholders in tourism development on Kelan Beach has not been carried out in accordance with the main objectives. This problem will be discussed using the SWOT analysis technique. This research is a qualitative research supported by the types of data and data sources, namely qualitative data and quantitative data as well as primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the SWOT analysis technique, namely analyzing internal factors (strengths and weaknesses) and external factors (opportunities and threats) with the help of the Internal-External matrix and the SWOT matrix. In implementing the strategy for developing Kelan Beach as a sustainable tourist attraction, it also applies the principles of Green Tourism which lead to environmental preservation. With the condition of Kelan Beach where the environment still tends to be natural, the application of the principles of environmental preservation is a must. Preservation of the environment around Kelan Beach must involve the local community, government, businessmen and visiting tourists. The government, both regional and village governments, is obliged to issue a policy regarding environmental management around Kelan Beach which is based on the principle of preservation. Communities, entrepreneurs and tourists participate in supervising its implementation and are directly involved in preserving the environment around Kelan Beach. This is very important to implement so that tourism on Kelan Beach can be sustainable

Abstract

Desa Munggu telah ditetapkan sebagai desa wisata melalui Peraturan Bupati Badung Nomor 47 Tahun 2010 tentang Penetapan Kawasan Desa Wisata di Kabupaten Badung. Pengembangan pariwisata di Kabupaten Badung cenderung lebih menonjolkan keindahan alam, suasana pedesaan, dan keaslian sosial budaya masyarakat lokal. Penelitian ini menganalisis tentang pengembangan potensi Desa Wisata Munggu sebagai daya tarik wisata berbasis masyarakat di Kabupaten Badung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengembangan potensi Desa Wisata Munggu sebagai daya tarik wisata berbasis masyarakat di Kabupaten Badung. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Wisata Munggu, Kecamatan Mengwi, Kabupaten Badung. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif kristis dengan melakukan pengamatan langsung atau observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa potensi pengembangan Desa Wisata Munggu didukung dengan daya tarik wisata (attraction) yang terdiri dari daya tarik wisata alam, budaya, spiritual, dan minat khusus, fasilitas pndukung pariwisata, aksesibilitas yang cukup memadai, dan kelembagaan yang mendukung pariwisata di Desa Wisata Munggu.

Abstract

This research is to analyze strategies that must be carried out by Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Kuta to increase sales volume. The analysis technique used in this study is a SWOT analysis technique consisting of IFAS, EFAS, IFE, EFE, and IE. The procedure for collecting data uses the method of observation, interviews, and surveys. The sample used in this study is purposive sampling technique where the respondents consisted of 10 people, the Director of Sales and Marketing ( respondents 1), Director of Operation (respondents 2), Account Sales Manager (respondents 3), Executive Sales (respondents 4), Sales Admin (respondents 5), Digital Marketing Manager (respondents 6), Marketing Comuncation Manager (respondent 7), Graphic Designer (respondent 8), Reservation (respondents 9 and 10). The results of this research are Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Kuta in column I, where the right strategy is market penetration strategy, market development strategy, product development strategy. The implication of this research is that it can be used as a reference in maintaining the sustainability of Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Kuta.

Abstract

Storynomics tourism is one of the strategies in promoting tourism, especially rural tourism. The cultural heritage in Munggu Tourism Village has historical stories and cultural values that are still believed by the local community, so the concept of storynomics tourism can be developed in promoting digital-based rural tourism by still maintaining local wisdom in the form of verbal traditions. The storynomics concept of Munggu Tourism Village is a form of promotion of digital storytelling-based rural tourism with the concept of storytelling in a creative content in which there is a concise description of verbal traditions in two language versions, that are bahasa Indonesia and English. This study analyzed the storynomics tourism which is directed as a new way to promote the uniqueness of tourist attractions in Munggu Tourism Village by telling verbal traditions including the history and cultural values of the local wisdom contained therein. The relevant research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The theory used in this research is storynomics tourism. This study concludes that Munggu Tourism Village has natural and cultural tourist attractions that keep the history and verbal traditions that have been believed by the local community for generations. Natural and cultural tourist attractions in the Munggu Tourism Village which are narrated for the promotion needs of the Munggu Tourism Village are The Tradition of Mekotek, The Traditional Swing, Munggu Beach, and Pancoran Pule, as well as the creative economy, namely Balinese traditional foods and paintings.

Abstract

The research entitled The Implementation of Community Based Tourism Model in Munggu Village Badung Bali focused on how Munggu tourist village manage the local tourist potencies based on community participation. Data collected by observation and deep interview with village leaders and Pokdarwis (local tourism management) Head. Though the status as tourist village for Munggu village is given in 2010 with 10 other villages in Badung Regency but the follow up run slowly until the new Pokdarwis Leader make a visit to Tourist Board of Badung Regency who give a slight understanding. Then, the community-based management is implemented start from village legality, local people representative, socialization program to stakeholders, people chance for getting job, collaboration with BumDes (Commercial Village Board) as well as receiving profit through legal institution. In the program of managing Munggu Beach, Pokdarwis team held some preparations, such as cleanliness, placing food stall, parking area, toilet, information desk with healthy protocol aids. The source of fund come from food stall retribution and parking ticket. Later, it is divided 45% for BumDes after taking some for operational and depreciation. It means that the profit is shared to people through relevant institution where as another 5% for donation and education program. In short, Munggu Tourist Village successfully implemented community-based tourism management which is similar to village management model in Bali

Abstract

Pantai Munggu merupakan salah satu pilihan pantai untuk rekreasi bersama keluarga terutama anak-anak. Untuk mengembangkan Pantai Munggu sebagai objek wisata yang nyaman, diperlukan strategi pengelolaan yang tepat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan strategi yang dapat dilakukan pengelola untuk menampung pengunjung usia anak-anak sebagai bagian dari pemenuhan sapta pesona yang ditawarkan oleh pantai Munggu. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara mendalam dengan pihak manajemen dan observasi kemudian data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Strategi tersebut melibatkan manajemen dan masyarakat setempat untuk mewujudkan tujuan tersebut. Pembahasan penelitian menemukan 4 strategi, yaitu (a) Pantai Munggu tidak hanya sekedar pantai yang mirip dengan yang lain sehingga akan dirancang sebagai pantai ramah anak dimana anak-anak perlu diakomodasi karena juga membawa daya tarik dan keuntungan lebih. (b) Menghadap Samudera Hindia, ombaknya besar bisa jadi bagus untuk selancar yang didukung persewaan peralatan, (c) karang di pantai terkadang melukai kaki pengunjung tetapi paket eksplorasi karang dapat dicocokkan dengan anak-anak serta mencintai laut dan biota-nya , dan (d) Perlu rencana besar untuk menampilkan nama pantai di depan gerbang sebagai promosi di media sosial.

Abstract

Munggu Tourism Village is one of the villages developed as a community-based tourism village or known as Community Based Tourism (CBT), which is a tourism activity that involves the participation of local communities in the management and development of tourism villages. This study analyzes the role of stakeholders in the development of Munggu Tourism Village and the steps taken in preparing the right strategies and programs for maintaining the sustainability of tourist attractions in Munggu Badung Tourism Village. This study aims to determine the role of stakeholders in the development of Munggu Tourism Village as a sustainable tourist attraction. The approach in this study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that the involvement of stakeholders in the planning and development of Munggu Tourism Village is the main thing to realize sustainable tourism both in the economic, socio-cultural and natural / environmental fields.

Abstract

West Manggarai is one of the districts in East Nusa Tenggara that has been visited by tourists, unfortunately, the purpose of the visit is dominant to the city of Labuan Bajo. Many tourism potentials in West Manggarai have been known, widely praised, and researched but Wae Bobok and its potential have not yet been published. Wae Bobok is a forest area located in the Tanjung Boleng Tourism Village area. The need for identification and mapping of potential is very essential to be better known by the wider community so that can achieve an equal visit and income. Mapping is carried out with a spatial analysis, which is an approach in geography to analyze and describe the geographical distribution of tourism data. The study’s purpose is to identify (1) the tourism potential of Wae Bobok as a tourist destination, (2) the mapping of Wae Bobok as a tourist destination (3) the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of Wae Bobok.  Data were analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques. This research resulted: in (1) the tourism potential of Wae Bobok as a tourist destination, (2) Wae Bobok has been mapped into natural, cultural, and adventure tourism attractions based on its natural potential and resources. (3) SWOT analysis of Wae Bobok includes strengths; natural, cultural, and artificial attractions, strategic location and accessibility, available supporting facilities, and local products, managed by pokdarwis. Weaknesses; human resources quality, cleanliness, local guides, tour packages, and internet network. Opportunities: position, special segment, local support, but the existence of competitors and Prone to natural disasters and flooding is a threat to Wae Bobok.

Abstract

One of the determining factors in the success of a tourism destination is the emergence of tourists' interest in visiting again, because it can have a significant impact on the local economy and tourism industry. In recent years, a new trend has emerged in the world of traveling where the majority of people traveling are young people, known as the millennial generation. This study aims to analyze the push factors and pull factors for millennial generation tourists in making repeated tourist visits to the Kintamani Tourism Area in Bali. The method used in this research is an exploratory descriptive method. The variables used are tourist characteristics and motivation to visit which are divided into two sub-variables, namely push factors and pull factors. Data was obtained through a survey by distributing questionnaires using purposive sampling to 80 millennial tourists who visited the Kintamani Tourism Area. Next, data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics in the form of tables and graphs to draw conclusions. The research conclusion is that there are 4 push factors (escape/looking for entertainment, relaxation, romance, educational opportunity) and 2 pull factors (natural beauty and climatic conditions) that determine the interest of millennial tourists in returning to the Kintamani Tourism Area

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, the development of world tourism can be made a top priority in supporting the development of a region. Tourism development is essentially to develop and utilize tourist attractions in the form of natural wealth, diversity of flora and fauna, cultural arts, historical heritage, ancient objects and cultural pluralism. It can be in the form of natural beauty, historic sites, ordinances of social life and religious ceremonies. The research entitled Development of Tanah Lot Beach as a Sustainable Tourist Attraction in Beraban Village, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency, Bali aims to determine the potential and development of Tanah Lot Beach. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with SWOT analysis. Data were collected by observation techniques, interviews and documentation studies. The informants interviewed included the village head and village officials, businessmen, community leaders, tourists and the people of Beraban Village. The conclusions from the results of this study are (a) Tanah Lot Beach, has beautiful, cool and pristine natural potential which provides comfort for visitors to tourism objects besides customs and culture, (b) strategies offered for use in the development of Tanah Lot Beach is the direction of environmentally friendly development by maintaining cleanliness and reducing plastic waste.
