Abstract

Depreciation of medical record documents is an activity to separate documents that are declared active and inactive. If the implementation of depreciation is delayed, there will be a buildup of medical record documents that fill the medical record document storage rack. The accumulation of medical record documents makes storage shelves untidy and prone to misplacement of medical record documents (missfile). In Permenkes No. 269/MENKES/PERIII/2008 concerning medical records, medical records are files containing notes and documents regarding patient identity, examination, treatment, actions and other services provided to patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of shrinking medical record files at Madani Hospital Medan. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. This method is used to describe the cause of the non-implementation of shrinkage of medical record files at RSU Madani Medan. Collecting data in this study conducted interviews with medical record officers. Based on the results of research at Madani General Hospital in Medan, there were 6 medical record officers and only 4 people with RMIK D-III educational background. The implementation of sorting medical record files at RSU Madani Medan is not in accordance with standard operating procedures because the sorting process is more than 5 years old. Hospitals should provide training for filing officers. For non-medical record officers, medical record education and health information to better understand the implementation of depreciation. Hospitals also need to immediately make a retention schedule so that there is a regular schedule for retention.

Abstract

Tracer (outguide) is a substitute for medical records that will be removed from storage for any purpose. A good tracer should be made of strong and colorful materials. The function of the tracer is to show where medical record documents are when they are not in storage. Tracers can also improve efficiency and accuracy by showing where medical records are stored when they return. The purpose of this study was to redesign the tracer at Imelda Workers' Hospital in Indonesia by replacing materials, shapes, and designs to make it easier for officers to carry out their duties, namely inserting tracers into the shelves between the densely packed medical record files. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. And the research instruments used are interview guidelines and observation check lists. The tracer (outguide) at Imelda Workers' Hospital in Indonesia has not been used for about a year because all tracers (outguides) have been damaged. The tracer (outguide) was damaged because the material was too stiff and broke easily when the officer inserted the tracer into the storage rack between the dense medical record files. RSU Imelda Workers Indonesia requires a tracer (outguide) made of strong, durable, not easily damaged, torn, broken and researchers have redesigned the tracer (outguide) as the results in the design above, namely by using flexible mica plastic material with a thickness of 0.70 mm , and the color chosen by the researcher in this design is black. The shape and size of the tracer (outguide) in this design is the same as the shape and size of the previous tracer (outguide) in Imelda Workers' Hospital in Indonesia. medical devices with new materials and designs such as the results in this design.

Abstract

Pelayanan kesehatan di puskesmas tidak terlepas dari dukungan data-data pasien yang semuanya itu harus tercatat dengan baik dan benar di dalam rekam medis. Map rekam medis (folder) merupakan sampul yang berfungsi untuk menjaga semua formulir rekam medis pasien yang ada dalam satu file dan terlindungi dari kerusakan secara fisik serta menjaga kerahasiaan data pasien didalamnya. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini yaitu untuk mendesain ulang sampul rekam medis dilihat dari aspek anatomi, fisik dan isi, serta disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan data pasien yang ada di wilayah kerja UPT Puskesmas Pekan Labuhan Medan. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah dengan melakukan kolaborasi dengan petugas penyimpanan rekam medis di puskesmas yang terdiri dari pemberian edukasi tentang desain rekam medis yang baik, konsultasi dan perancangan map rekam medis sesuai kebutuhan di puskesmas, serta melakukan demonstrasi dan pendampingan penerapan map rekam medis di puskesmas. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan pada bulan Februari 2024 dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 10 orang petugas kesehatan di UPT Puskesmas Pekan Labuhan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan selama 3 bulan. Adapun hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan petugas dalam mendesain map rekam medis yang baik serta sebuah desain produk map (folder) rekam medis di UPT Puskesmas Pekan Labuhan Medan. Keberhasilan kegiatan pengabdian ini didukung oleh kerja sama yang baik dari tim pengabdian masyarakat, petugas dan kepala UPT Puskesmas Pekan Labuhan Medan serta Dinas Kesehatan Kota Medan.

Abstract

Forecasting is an estimate or prediction regarding the occurrence of an event or events in the future or is a study of historical data to find systematic relationships, trends and patterns. This research discusses how to predict or forecast student graduation rates. By utilizing student master data and student graduation data, it is hoped that we can produce information about graduation rates using student master data through Forecasting techniques. The graduation rate category is measured by length of study and GPA. The algorithm used is an a priori algorithm, the information displayed is in the form of support and confidence values ​​for each graduation level category.

Abstract

The allocation of scholarships is a crucial process in educational institutions, aiming to provide financial support to deserving students based on specific criteria. This research explores the implementation of the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method within a Decision Support System (DSS) designed to aid in the determination of scholarship recipients at the STIEKOM North Sumatra Education Foundation. The SAW method, known for its simplicity and effectiveness, facilitates the evaluation of multiple criteria by assigning weights to each criterion and calculating a weighted sum for each candidate. This study outlines the development and application of the DSS, focusing on its ability to enhance decision-making accuracy and efficiency in the scholarship awarding process. Through a series of simulations and real-case applications, the system's performance is analyzed, demonstrating its potential to improve transparency and fairness in scholarship distribution. The findings suggest that the SAW-based DSS can serve as a reliable tool for educational institutions in managing scholarship allocations, ensuring that the most qualified students are selected based on a comprehensive evaluation of their academic performance, financial need, and other relevant criteria.

Abstract

The service indicator reporting information system at Imelda Hospital is designed for data processing and information presentation, especially about hospital service indicator reporting data that is easily accessible to officers anywhere and anytime, and can help the data processing process that will produce information so that the system work process can be well integrated and does not require a long time to search for data, data processing, and storing data. This study aims to design and create a Service Indicator Reporting Information System in hospitals and make it easier for officers to be faster and more precise in their services. This type of research uses a phenomenological approach method where researchers try to understand deeply the phenomenon under study. The results of this research show that the number of beds in the SIMRS application at IPI General Hospital. Where the number of beds in the SIMRS application is 322 beds while the actual number of beds or registered in the operational permit of IPI RSU is 276 beds. So that it greatly affects the report of hospital indicators at IPI General Hospital. Overall, the system that the author proposes has been proven to be more precise, fast and accurate than the results of reports from SIMRSU IPI and or from the results of manual calculations carried out by officers when reporting in the previous period. The hospital service indicator report produced by the system proposed by the author is better than the report produced by SIMRSU IPI. However, the overall report on hospital service indicators at IPI Hospital is still below the standards of the Ministry of Health.

Abstract

Workload is the volume of work results or records of work results. If the number of workers is small, while the workload is increasing, it will result in low work productivity and will affect the quality of hospital services to patients. Indonesian workers. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The data collection method used was interview guide. This research was conducted at Imelda Indonesian Workers General Hospital from May to September 2021. The population in this study were all 19 medical record employees. The sample used in this study were some of the medical record employees, totaling 4 people. From the results of the study, it was found that the number of filling officers at the Imelda General Hospital of Indonesian Workers was 4 people with the workload of officer A in providing medical record files as many as 356 documents with an average time of provision of 14.8 minutes, officer B in providing medical record files as many as 421 documents with an average time of provision of 17.1 minutes, officer C in providing medical record files as many as 291 documents with an average supply time of 12.1 minutes and officer D in providing medical record files as many as 359 documents with an average time of provision of 14 ,9 minutes. The conclusion is that the workload of filling officers at Imelda general hospital for Indonesian workers has a very strong influence on the average time of providing outpatient medical record files. Based on this, it is suggested to the hospital to carry out a workload analysis to determine the number of staff needs, especially in filling, and to motivate filling officers to increase the speed of providing medical record files.

Abstract

Efficient data storage and transmission have become of utmost importance in today's digital era. File compression processes are crucial to addressing this issue. The purpose of this study is to examine and compare the use of the Arithmetic Coding Method and the LZW Method in file compression. Both of these methods are known for their excellent compression capabilities, but there has been limited research comparing them in the context of real-world use. This research employed a range of files, including text, photos, and recordings, to test both approaches. Results indicate that the arithmetic coding method typically offers a slightly better compression ratio compared to the LZW method. However, LZW provides faster compression and decompression speeds, making it more suitable for real-time applications or where response time is critical. Nonetheless, the choice between these two methods largely depends on the specific needs of a given application. For purposes requiring the highest compression ratio, the arithmetic coding method might be more appropriate. however, the LZW method might be more suitable for purposes demanding quick compression and decompression. In summary, both the arithmetic coding and LZW methods have their own strengths and weaknesses. A thorough understanding of the features and requirements of the file to be compressed is vital for choosing the most fitting method. the LZW method might be more suitable for purposes demanding quick compression and decompression. Abstract

Advances in information technology at this time have an important role in helping human activities or work. The role of information technology is very influential in various aspects of life, both for individuals and organizations / agencies. Many organizations or agencies have utilized information technology to provide services for their business activities. However, not all business organizations have utilized the use of information systems and technology as a supporting medium for their business activities. One of them is in the field of hospitality. Hotel Deli Indah is one of the hotels located in Deli Serdang district. This hotel information is needed by the community as a place that provides several things. Such as lodging, food and drinks. However, with the website of parties who need information about the hotel, simply open the hotel website that is online and real time. To overcome these problems, we offer solutions to overcome various problems mentioned above. The solution is in the form of a Web-Based Hospitality Information System Training Application. This system was developed with the hope that it can help the hotel in terms of updating information will be easier to do where later the school information system can run faster than the current system and of course to parties who need information can directly search for hotel information by directly opening the hotel website. The objectives of PKM in general are: Can help the community in general, to disseminate information quickly, efficiently and effectively. Along with the development of Information Technology, the website no longer just offers product value, but goes to the back office system (management of office systems / agencies / schools) online and real time. The purpose of the Web-Based Hospitality Information System Training Application is to assist hotels in the process of public information services, thus providing support for better school data processing. Target to be achieved: Providing updated information media services through internet media to the wider community about Hotel Deli Indah.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit (SIMRS) adalah sebuah sistem informasi yang terintegrasi yang disiapkan untuk menangani keseluruhan proses manajemen Rumah Sakit, mulai dari pelayanan diagnosa dan tindakan untuk pasien, medical record, apotek, gudang farmasi, penagihan, database personalia, penggajian karyawan, proses akuntansi sampai dengan pengendalian oleh manajemen. Sistem Informasi Manajemen saat ini merupakan sumber daya utama, yang mempunyai nilai strategis dan mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting sebagai daya saing serta kompetensi utama sebuah organisasi dalam menyongsong era informasi ini. Seiring dengan perjalanan kegiatan operasional rumah sakit, dijumpai banyak sekali kendala yang menimbulkan permasalahan yang mengganggu aktifitas sehari-hari. Karena sebagian aktifitas masih dilakukan secara manual, otomatis mempersulit dan memperlambat petugas rumah sakit untuk melayani pasien, baik yang ingin berobat, rawat inap, rawat jalan, instalasi gawat darurat, instalasi bedah, rekam medis, dan layanan-layanan lainnya yang diperuntukkan untuk masyarakat. Selain masalah tersebut, Rumah Sakit juga kesulitan dalam mengatur akuntansi keuangannya (menyiapkan laporan keuangan). Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, kami sebagai tim pengembang sistem informasi berbasis web menawarkan solusi untuk mengatasi berbagai masalah yang sudah disebutkan di atas. Solusi tersebut berupa Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit. Sistem ini dikembangkan dengan harapan dapat membantu dalam proses pengadministrasian aktifitas operasional rumah sakit dan pendokumentasian transaksi keuangannya.
