Abstract

Penelitian ini bersifat penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan pemaparan data deskripsi kualitatif dan deskripsi kuantitatif.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas 4 tahap yaitu: tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data proses pembelajaran setiap siklus dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun data hasil pembelajaran dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif.Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 16 orang.Tindakan yang diberikan dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui peningkatan proses pembelajaran dan hasil pembelajaran pada siklus I. Adapun siklus II berupa tindakan perbaikan terhadap kekurangan-kekurangan yang dialami pada siklus I.Hasil analisis data yang dilakukan terhadap hasil penelitian pada siklus I dan siklus II disimpulkan bahwa, pembelajaran membaca intensif pada siswa kelas VIII-I SMP Guppi Samata Gowa dengan menggunkan metode SQ4R dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pada proses pembelajaran dan hasil pembelajaran membaca intensif. Berdasarkan simpulan hasil penelitian ini, peneliti menyarankan kepada guru agar senantiasa menggunakan metode yang dapat merangsang perhatian siswa sehingga siswa merasa tertarik untuk belajar. Bagi peneliti lain dan mahasiwa yang menekuni pengajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia diharapkan melakukan penelitian dalam bidang membaca dengan menggunakan metode lain, demikian pula dalam membaca intensif sehingga dapat ditemukan berbagai metode pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan sebagai pembelajaran di sekolah. Kata Kunci: Membaca Intensif, Metode SQ4R This research was a classroom action research (PTK) with the presentation of data and descriptions kuantitatif. Qualitative research descriptions was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four phases: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data learning process of each cycle were analyzed descriptively qualitative. The data were analyzed descriptively learning outcomes kuantitatif.Subjek this research is class VIII totaling 16 orang.Tindakan given is intended to determine the increase in the learning process and learning outcomes in cycle I. As for the second cycle in the form of corrective actions against deficiencies experienced in cycle I. Results of the data analysis of the results of the study in the first cycle and the second cycle is concluded that, teaching intensive reading in class VIII SMP-I Guppi Samata Gowa by using SQ4R method can improve the learning process and learning outcomes intensive reading. Conclusions based on these results, the researchers suggested to the teachers to always use the methods that can stimulate students attention so that the students were interested in learning. For other researchers and students who pursue teaching Indonesian language and literature are expected to conduct research in the areas of reading by using other methods, as well as in intensive reading so it can be found a variety of learning methods that can be used as learning in school.Keywords: Intensive Reading, Methods SQ4R

Abstract

The Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia has launched a new curriculum, the 2013 Curriculum. It promotes a transition from a traditional learning approach to a more progressive one that appears to reflect a constructivist approach. To ensure the successful implementation of the new curriculum, the Ministry produced compulsory textbooks for teachers and students. This study is aimed at revealing the presentation of writing lessons in the compulsory textbooks for Grade 1 that reflects the underlying theory of the 2013 Curriculum. The study analysed the frequency of writing lessons in the textbooks. It also analysed the types and the focus of writing activities in the lessons by using a content analysis. The sample consisted of eight textbooks of Grade 1. Each book consists of 24 lessons. Therefore, 192 lessons were analysed in this study. The results of the content analysis show that writing lessons in the textbooks, to a great degree, are still influenced by a traditional view of learning, especially those in the first two books used in Semester 1. In fact, the new curriculum appears to promote a constructivist approach. The findings suggest that there was inconsistency between the theory underpinning the writing lessons in the textbooks and the theory required by the 2013 Curriculum. In light of these findings, the study considers practical implications to increase the teaching of writing in Grade 1 based on the 2013 Curriculum Framework.

Abstract

Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sisdiknas menyebutkan bahwa setiap warga negara mempunyai hak yang sama untuk memperoleh pendidikan yang bermutu. Namun fenomena yang terjadi saat ini terdapat kesenjangan yang cukup kasat mata karena maraknya sekolah negeri berlabel unggul yang digagas oleh pemerintah di hampir setiap daerah yang tentu membuka jurang kesenjangan yang begitu lebar dengan sekolah lain yang notabene berstatus tidak unggul. Sekolah unggulan terkesan hanya bisa dinikmati anak-anak dengan kemampuan akademik serta finansial tertentu. Orang tua murid pun berlomba untuk menyekolahkan anaknya di sekolah unggulan. Sehingga dampaknya ada sekolah yang banyak muridnya dan ada sekolah yang kekurangan. Tentu saja ketidakmerataan ini akan menimbulkan akses yang tidak baik pada dunia pendidikan nasional. Menyikapi hal tersebut, pemerintah melalui Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan menetapkan Permendikbud Nomor 17 Tahun 2017 tentang Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru pada Taman Kanak Kanak, Sekolah Dasar, Sekolah Menengah Pertama, Sekolah Menengah Atas, Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan atau bentuk Lain Yang Sederajat. Dalam Permendikbud tersebut ditetapkan pemberlakuan sistem zonasi dalam penerimaan peserta didik baru. Dalam sistem zonasi diatur bahwa sekolah yang diselenggarakan oleh pemerintah daerah wajib menerima calon peserta didik yang berdomisili pada radius zona terdekat dari sekolah, paling sedikit sebesar 90 persen dari total jumlah keseluruhan peserta didik yang diterima. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap persepsi guru terhadap pelaksanaan kebijakan zonasi sekolah dalam PPDB di Kecamatan Rappocini Kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan guru dan dinas terkait juga didukung oleh studi literatur yang berhubungan dengan kebijakan zonasi sekolah. Berdasarkan temuan peneliti, diterapkannya sistem zonasi dalam penerimaan peserta didik baru menimbulkan pro kontra di kalangan guru. Ada yang setuju diterapkannya sistem zonasi agar predikat sekolah favorit hilang dan agar supaya meratanya pendidikan. Di sisi lain ada yang berpandangan bahwa sistem zonasi belum siap untuk diterapkan karena sumber daya manusia (Guru) belum memadai dan sarana prasarana di sekolah juga belum siap.

Abstract

Community service activities, namely environmental hygiene counseling aim to raise environmental awareness of elementary school students and provide information about waste management, to reduce environmental pollution by waste, especially plastic waste. This activity consisted of three stages, namely (1) material presentation, (2) ice breaking activities, and (3) poster submission. This activity was held on December 21, 2022 and is located at SD Inpres Bontomanai. The environment is a place where humans and other living things live that need to be kept clean and sustainable. Therefore extension activities are carried out to raise awareness to maintain environmental cleanliness from an early age.

Abstract

Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Paired Storytelling Efektif Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menyimak Cerita Murid Kelas V SDN 149 Buntu Dama Kecamatan Baroko Kabupaten Enrekang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Menguji Tingkat Keefektifan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Paired Storytelling Terhadap Keterampilan Menyimak Cerita Murid Kelas V. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan jenis One Group pretest-posttest Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 167 Buntu Dama Kabupaten Enrekang sebanyak 22 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan hasil penilaian keterampilan menyimak cerita. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistika, yaitu statistika deskriptif dan statistika inferensial ini penelitian ini menggunakan teknik statistik t(uji-t). Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa t Hitung 14.339 dan t tabel 1,721maka diperoleh tHitung > tTabel atau 14.339 > 1,721. Berdasarkan hasil dari t Hitung dan t Tabel, dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Ini berarti bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran paired storytelling efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menyimak cerita siswa kelas V SDN 167 Buntu Dama Kecamatan Baroko Kabupaten Enrekang. Kata Kunci : Model Paired Storytelling, Keterampilan Menyimak Cerita.

Abstract

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia khususnya pada materi menulis karangan deskripsi masih sangat rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi melalui teknik kata kunci berbantu media objek langsung pada murid kelas III SD Unismuh Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (Class Action Reaserch) yang terdiri dari dua siklus dimana setiap siklus dilaksanakan sebanyak empat kali pertemuan. Fokus penelitian ini adalah 1) Keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi dan 2) Penggunaan teknik kata kunci berbantu media objek langsung di kelas III SD Unismuh Makassar. Prosedur penelitian meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah murid kelas III yang berjumlah 15 orang murid. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu terjadinya peningkatan aktivitas belajar murid dari siklus I ke siklus II, hasil belajar murid mengalami peningkatan yaitu perolehan rata-rata skor hasil belajar murid pada siklus I 63,7 meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 96. Ketuntasan belajar menulis karangan deskripsi murid juga mengalami peningkatan, dimana pada siklus I, dari 5 (33%) murid mencapai ketuntasan belajar, sedangkan pada siklus II sebanyak 15 (100%) murid mencapai ketuntasan belajar dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal tercapai. Hal ini berarti ketuntasan belajar pada siklus II tercapai secara klasikal karena jumlah murid yang tuntas lebih dari 80%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut diatas, dapat disimpulkan keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi kelas III SD Unismuh Makassar melalui penerapan teknik kata kunci berbantu media objek langsung mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

This research discussesd the Comparison CIRC (Cooperative, Integrated, Reading, And Composition) Method and SQ3R Method (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, And Review) on Reading Comprehension Ability and Learning Outcomes of Class V Students of Cluster 1 Elementary School, Tarowang District, Jeneponto Regency. This research aimed to determine whether there any differences in students’ reading abilities and learning outcomes using the CIRC learning method and the SQ3R learning method. The type of research used was quasy experimental design research with the Nonequivalent Multiple-Group Design type. The population in this study were all class V Cluster 1 Tarowang District which consists of three schools with a total 128 students. The research sample chosen was class V students UPT SD Negeri 4 Tarowang, totaling 40 students usingbo random cluster sampling technique. Data collection techniques in the research were carried out through test techniques to determine students’ reading comprehension abilities and learning outcomes in the form of multiple choice questions and descriptions of 20 questions, as well as observation sheets to find out the implementation of the CIRC method and the SQ3R method. The results of research based on descriptive analysis showed that the average value of the CIRC learning method was 84.50. Meanwhile, when applying the SQ3R learning method, an average score of 83 was obtained. This means that the CIRC learning method is more improved than the SQ3R learning method. Meanwhile, the results of the inferential analysis show that the CIRC learning method is more significant effect compared to the SQ3R learning method on the reading comprehension ability and learning outcomes of class V UPT SD Negeri 4 Tarowang students. This is based on the results of the paired sample t test obtained, namely the sig value. 0,001 < 0,005.

Abstract

Research to find out how students' reading comprehension skills through the PQ4R learning method, how students' reading comprehension skills through the DRTA learning method, whether there are differences between the PQ4R method and the DRTA method in students' reading comprehension skills. Using a quantitative approach with quasy experimental design type nonequivalent multiple-group research. The population of this study was all grade V students of Elementary School cluster 1 Wolo District, Kolaka Regency which amounted to 304 students. The sample of this study used cluster random sampling technique based on population needs. Data analysis is done through descriptive statistical analysis. The prerequisite tests used are normality tests and homogeneity tests then hypothesis tests (Independent Sample T Test). The results showed that there were differences in the application of the PQ4R learning method and the DRTA learning method to students' reading comprehension skills. The score obtained from the independent sample t test is 0.001 which shows smaller than 0.05.   Keywords: DRTA, PQ4R, reading comprehension skills

Abstract

This research discusses the comparison of the Dediscerta Learning Method with the Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review (SQ3R) Learning Method in Reading Ability, Comprehension of Folklore Texts and Learning Outcomes of Class V Cluster 3 Students, Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency. This research aims to determine whether there are differences in students' reading comprehension abilities of folklore texts using the Dediscerta learning method and the SQ3R learning method. The type of research used is quasi experimental design type nonequivalent control group design. The research population was all students of class V, Cluster 3, Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency, which consists of seven schools with a total number of students of 285. The research sample chosen was class V students of SDI Ta'buakkang, totaling 44 people. There are 42 class V students at SDI Bilonga. There were 45 class V students at SDN Bategulung using cluster random sampling techniques. The data collection technique in the research was carried out through a test technique to determine students' ability to read and understand folklore texts in the form of multiple choice questions totaling 10 questions.The results of research based on descriptive analysis showed that the average value of the Dediscerta learning method at SDI Ta'buakkang was 85.23, at SDI Bilonga 81.75 at SDN Bategulung, 81.59, while for the application of the SQ3R learning method at SDI Ta'buakkang, the average value was 83. .57 at SDI Bilonga 81.75 at SDN Bategulung 81.42. This means that the Dediscerta learning method is more improved than the SQ3R learning method. Meanwhile, the results of the inferential analysis show that the Dediscerta learning method has a more significant effect compared to the SQ3R learning method on the ability to read and understand folklore texts for class V group 3 students in Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency. Abstract

This research aims to determine the planning, implementation, and improvement of learning outcomes for narrative essay writing skills in class V UPT SPF SDN Kalukuang IV students, Makassar City. This type of research is class action research (Class Action Research) which consists of two cycles where each cycle is carried out in four meetings. The focus of this research is 1) Narrative essay writing skills and 2) Use of think talk write strategies assisted by image media in class V UPT SPF SDN Kalukuang IV Makassar City. Research procedures include planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The research subjects were 32 class V students, with details of 15 boys and 17 girls. The collected data was analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results of this research are: (1) In the first cycle, the average value of learning outcomes for class V UPT SPF SDN Kalukuang IV Makassar City students was obtained, namely 59.2 (2) In the second cycle, the average value of learning outcomes for class V UPT SPF students was obtained. SDN Kalukuang IV Makassar City was higher, reaching 90. The learning completion of class V UPT SPF students at SDN Kalukuang IV Makassar City also increased. In cycle I, 10 (31%) students achieved learning completeness, while in cycle II 30 (94%) students achieved learning completeness and classical learning completion was achieved. This means that learning completeness in cycle II was achieved classically because the number of students who completed it was more than 80%. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the skill of writing narrative essays for class V UPT SPF SDN Kalukuang IV Makassar City through the application of the think talk write strategy assisted by image media has increased.
