Abstract

Philosophy is the search for truth through a systematic flow of thinking, meaning that conversations about everything are carried out regularly following the prevailing system so that the stages are easy to follow. Etymologically philosophy comes from English and Greek, namely "philosophy" and "philein". This often causes difficulties to understand the meaning of the term philosophy. The term philosophy in general has a very large number so that to do the search for the meaning of the term philosophy in a philosophical book in the form of a printed book takes a long time because it must open one by one the book manually. To solve the problems described above the author builds an Android-based Philosophy application using eclipse juno. In order to simplify the search process for philosophical terms, the Raita search algorithm is implemented in the search feature contained in the Philosophy application. The raita search algorithm is a string matching algorithm with the arrangement of characters in a matched string that has the number and sequence of characters in the same string. Raita designed an algorithm by comparing the last character of the pattern starting from the far right character of the window. Android-based philosophy application that was built by the author in this study is expected to be an effective and efficient solution to get the search results of the meaning of the term philosophy in understanding the meaning of the term philosophy.Keywords: Implementation, Raita Search Algorithm, Philosophy Application, Android.

Abstract

Abstract : This research was conducted with the aim to find out the influence of learning facilities against the learning outcomes of students of class X and XI IIS IIS on economic subjects in SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. The population in this research is the whole grade X and XI IIS IIS as many as 120 students and a sample that will be scrutinized as much as 55 students. Data collection using observation, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis using linear regression analysis. The results showed that the learning facility influence on the results of the study. The influence of learning facilities at the school against results of a study of 0.686 and influence home study facilities against the learning outcomes of 1.050. The simultaneous learning facility influence on student learning outcomes with the determination of 45.5%.Keywords: Learning Facilities at school, Learning Facilities at Home, the results of the Study

Abstract

Desa Wisata merupakan salah satu objek wisata di Kota Batam yang mendukung tujuan Pembangunan berkelanjutan. Peningkatan jumlah pengunjung yang datang di Desa Wisata memberikan dampak yang cukup besar untuk mendukung ekonomi masyarakat yang tinggal di Desa Wisata. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk membantu pengelola Desa Wisata Kampung Tua Bakau Serip Mangrove Pandang Tak Jemu dalam meningkatkan jumlah pengunjung yang datang untuk melakukan wisata edukasi mangrove dengan pemanfaatan sosial media yang maksimal. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan melakukan kegiatan observasi lapangan dan observasi media sosial lebih dulu untuk mengetahui Tingkat pemanfaatan sosial media pada Desa Wisata Bakau Serip. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara kooperatif, yaitu dosen, mahasiswa, serta mitra yang merupakan pengelola desa wisata. Hasil dari kegiatan ini dosen dan mahasiswa membantu pengelola desa wisata untuk merancang konten sosial media yang menarik sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat Batam tentang wisata edukasi mangrove di Kecamatan Nongsa, Kelurahan Sambau.

Abstract

Mamah Factory is a specialty souvenir center in Batam, featuring its signature products such as Luti Gendang, Kue Lapis Emas, Pancake Durian, Kue Emas Durian Keju, and Brownies Durian. In order to build a positive and healthy brand image for Mamah Factory, the author employed data collection methods including observation, interviews, documentation, and surveys to identify the uniqueness and differences of Mamah's products compared to others. The results of this Community Service activity brought in more viewers, followers, and buyers with content emphasizing Mamah's product values. The number of profile visits was higher compared to previous Community Service activities, with an increase in followers by 43, surpassing the 30-follower increase from the previous Community Service. In the next program, it is hoped that there will be improvements in all aspects that can help the community to better understand Mamah Factory in terms of its product values and quality.

Abstract

Perkembangan desa wisata dari waktu ke waktu memang mengalami peningkatan yang sangat signifikan. Perubahan minat wisata saat ini cenderung lebih mengarah pada wisata ekologis dibandingkan dengan wisata keramaian. Hal ini menjadi salah satu tantangan bagi sebuah Ekowisata untuk meningkatkan strategi pemasaran, terutama penggunaan sosial media agar para turis dapat mengenal desa wisata beserta produk yang ditawarkan. Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini salah satunya adalah untuk memberikan kontribusi kepada desa wisata Kampung Tua Bakau Serip dalam hal pengelolaan media sosial dan konten-konten yang dapat dijadikan contoh untuk pengelolaan selanjutnya. Kegiatan ini dilakukan selama efektif selama 3 bulan yang melibatkan dosen, mahasiswa, serta pengelola desa wisata Kampung Tua Bakau Serip. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah mahasiswa dan dosen melakukan pembuatan Instagram dan men-design konten-konten yang menarik sebagai salah satu langkah awal dalam pengembangan digitalisasi desa wisata. Dengan adanya hasil dari kegiatan PkM ini akan memberikan semangat kepada pengelola desa wisata agar memperbaiki kualitas dari desa wisata dan melanjutkan pengembangan konten untuk sosial media agar menarik minat wisatawan tidak hanya di dalam negeri, tetapi juga dari luar negeri.

Abstract

Desa wisata merupakan salah satu tujuan dari Pembangunan Berkelanjutan dengan arah pemberantasan kemiskinan. Desa Wisata memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan, tidak hanya dari potensi alam, tetapi juga dari potensi sumber daya manusia agar memiliki kemampuan di dalam mengelola operasional kegiatan desa sehingga dapat menjadi salah satu pertumbuhan ekonomi. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan kegiatan positif yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat desa dalam hal pengelolaan desa wisata, diantaranya adalah pelatihan-pelatihan yang berkaitan dengan hygiene dan sanitasi, kebersihan lingkungan, hingga pada pengelolaan sosial media dan pembuatan company profile sebagai salah satu kebutuhan desa wisata agar dapat dipromosikan secara maksimal. Kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu projek desa dengan target peserta adalah masyarakat yang tinggal dan menetap di desa wisata Teluk Mata Ikan, Kecamatan Nongsa, Kelurahan Sambau. Hasil dari kegiatan ini, masyarakat lebih mengenal terkait hygiene dan sanitasi, hingga pentingnya pemanfaatan sosial media agar dapat memperkenalkan desa wisata teluk mata ikan kepada seluruh turis baik yang ada di kota Batam, maupun dari luar Batam.

Abstract

Pariwisata merupakan salah satu industri yang terdampak dari terjadinya wabah Covid-19 dan menyebabkan menurunnya jumlah wisatawan mancanegara ke destinasi-destinasi yang paling banyak dikunjungi di Indonesia. Akibatnya pemberhentian aktivitas massal pada kegiatan pariwisata menjadikan trend pariwisata massal ke beralih menjadi pariwisata alternatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi destination loyalty Desa Wisata Mangrove Pandang Tak Jemu di Kampung Tua Bakau Serip, Kecamatan Nongsa, Kelurahan Sambau, Batam. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan SEM PLS yang melibatkan 200 wisatawan sebagai sampel pada penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Destination Image berpengaruh positif terhadap Destination Loyalty. Selain itu, Tourist Satisfaction juga berhasil memediasi pengaruh antara Destination Image terhadap Destination Loyalty.

Abstract

Tourist villages are popular holiday spots because of the unique culture and character of the city that accommodates tourists. Attractions such as natural attractions that showcase the diversity of plants and animals, as well as educational opportunities about the unique traditions of tourist communities can bring in more visitors. One of the tourist villages that has received recognition from the tourism world is Kampung Tua Bakau Serip Batam which is included in the top 50 in the ADWI (Indonesian Tourism Village Award) event. Over the past six years, construction of the Kampung Tua Bakau Serip Tourism Village has continued. In the research conducted by the researcher, the aim was to determine the influence of destination image, service quality, and experience on destination loyalty. This research carried out an analysis regarding how each variable has an influence, is related, and has a positive impact on each other. This research took samples from people who had visited the Kampung Tua Bakau Serip Tourism Village. One hundred and seventy people were surveyed using non-probability sampling techniques. The research results show that destination image, service quality and experience have a significant positive influence on destination loyalty. Therefore, so that the goal of destination loyalty can continue to be achieved, the Kampung Tua Bakau Serip Tourism Village needs to be maintained and preserved.

Abstract

Purpose: The transformation that has occurred in coffee consumption behavior is inseparable from the development of globalization which makes people behave consumptively. This will result in various changes to coffee consumption behavior in the people of Batam City. This study aims to discover coffee consumption behavior, trends, lifestyles, and preferences, where people have the habit of consuming coffee in dine-in coffee shops. But as it evolved, it turned into a coffee takeaway. Methodology/approach: This research uses a quantitative approach that aims to explore the causes related to changes in coffee consumption behavior. Data collection was carried out by purposive sampling with a total of 100 samples. Results/findings: Based on the analysis, five hypotheses were accepted, and two hypotheses were rejected, namely trends, lifestyles, and preferences that had a positive effect on consumption behavior. Preferences can mediate trends in coffee consumption behaviour, while preferences are not able to mediate the influence between lifestyle and consumption behaviour and there is no influence between lifestyle and coffee consumer preferences. Limitations: This study has limitations in that the transformation of coffee consumer behavior was only conducted in Batam City, so there may be differences of opinion if conducted in other cities due to different demographics, cultures, and lifestyles of the people in those cities. Contribution: The results of this study contribute to a deeper understanding of the dynamics of consumer behavior in consuming coffee, providing practical implications in the retail field of coffee business and valuable insights for academics.
