Abstract

This article is the result of field research on the aplication of teaching materials in Arabic by computer in Class XI MAN 04 Muara Jambi. This type of research is Research and Development (R & D). The purpose of this study increase students' motivation using teaching materials in Arabic by computer. The research found that the Arabic language teaching materiadels using computer media can increase students learning motivation class XI Madrasah Aliyah Negeri at Muara Jambi 4 significantly. It is based improvement very clear from the pre-test before using teaching materials bermedia kompoter obtained value of 63.77 and after using it obtained value of 81.5.AbstrakArtikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian lapangan tentang penggunaan bahan ajar Bahasa Arab bermedia komputer pada Siswa Kelas XI MAN 04 Muara Jambi. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian (R&D) Research and Development. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dengan menggunakan bahan ajar bermedia komputer. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa bahan ajar bahasa Arab bermedia komputer dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar Siswa Kelas XI Semester II Di Mad-rasah Aliyah Negeri 4 Muara Jambi secara signifikan dengan hasil pre-test 63,77 dan post-test 81,5.

Abstract

Abstrak Nepenthes spp. memiliki nilai ekologi, ekonomi dan ekslusifitas bagi masyarakat pada umumnya, namun eksistensi di habitat alaminya setiap tahunnya semakin terancam. Hal ini disebabkan oleh konversi lahan hutan, semak belukar menjadi kawasan pemukiman, perladangan, perkebunan, pembalakan hutan, degradasi hutan, dan eksploitasi liar, sehingga preservasinya cenderung terabaikan. Penelitian bertujuan mempertelakan secara ilmiah deskripsi dan eksplorasi vegetasi komunitas Nepenthes spp., nilai penting dan indeks keanekaragaman tumbuhan dalam komunitasnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode survei dan teknik pengambilan data mengikuti prosedur kerja ekologi, obervasi, koleksi secara langsung pada sejumlah sampel, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ditemukan Nepenthes mirabilis dan N. gracilis. Komposisi tumbuhan dalam komunitas Nepenthes spp. tercatat 43 spesies termasuk ke dalam 25 famili. Nilai kepentingan tertinggi adalah Stenoclaena palustris (14,65%), Dicronapteris linearis (17,74%), dan Lygodium microphyllum (12,10%). Indeks keanekaragaman spesies berdasarkan Shannon-Wiener tergolong rendah (1,86). Rendahnya nilai indeks keanekaragaman spesies dalam suatu komunitas dipengaruhi oleh interaksi yang terjadi dalam komunitas tersebut kecil dan gangguan lingkungan alami ataupun kegiatan aktivitas manusia.Abstract Nepenthes spp. have ecology, economy, and exclusivity value to the general people. However, its existence is increasingly threatened every year. The causes are a conversion of the forest, scrub changes into residential areas, fields, plantations, logging, forest degradation, and wild exploitation, while its preservation tends to be neglected. This study was aimed at placing the description and exploration of vegetation Nepenthes spp., important values, and diversity index in its community. The research used a survey method. The data was collected by following work procedures of ecology, observation, direct collection of a number of samples, and documentation. The result showed that there were two species of Nepenthes spp., namely Nepenthes mirabilis and N. gracilis. The composition in the Nepenthes spp. communities consisted of 43 species which belong to 25 families. The highest importance values were found in the species of Stenoclaena palustris (14.65%), Dicronapteris linearis (17.74%), and Lygodium microphyllum (12:10%). The Shannon-Wiener diversity index was relatively low (1.86). The low value of the species diversity index in the community occurred due to the slightly small interactions within the community, the disturbance of natural environment, and the human activities as well.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) find out the comparisonof students' writing skills before and after using theDuolingo application and (2) find out theadvantages and disadvantages of students whenusing the Duolingo application. This research usesmixed methods. Data collection techniques includetests, interviews, and documentation methods. The test was carried out in two stages, namely pre-testand post-test. Interview informants were selectedusing purposive sampling techniques. Data were processed using descriptive statistics and Miles Huberman analysis. The research was conductedon 10 English Literature students at UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi. The research results showthat based on the results, Duolingo's role canimprove students' writing skills. This can be seenbased on the results of the post-test carried out bystudents. In the post-test assessment, allparticipants obtained higher scores that exceededthe mean. The highest score on the post-test was 95 and the lowest score was 80. There were nostudents below the completeness score and 10 students above the completeness score. Then theaverage post-test score was 89.5. Meanwhile, otherresearch results show that the advantages anddisadvantages of using the Duolingo applicationcan be seen in the interview results. In terms ofadvantages, students believe that Duolingo canimprove their writing skills because there are lotsof features such as flashcards, translations, quizzes, listening sections, exercises, and others. Meanwhile, the disadvantage of using theDuolingo application is that this application takesup a lot of memory space on the cellphone whenthe user uses it all the time, especially when itreaches a high level or unit.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a competency-based human resource development system for teachers at Salafiyah Islamic boarding schools in the Riau Islands. It employs Research and Development (R&D) with a Design-Based Research (DBR) approach, adapting the Martin Tessmer model, which includes stages such as preliminary study, product design and expert validation, and product trials. The research uses qualitative data, collected through questionnaires assessing the validity and development of competencies for Islamic boarding school teachers. The study finds that Salafiyah Islamic boarding schools in the Riau Islands currently lack a systematic and sustainable competency development system for their teachers. The validity of the Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School Teacher Competency Development product was assessed by education, language, and Islamic education experts. The material experts rated the product with an average score of 96%, indicating it is very valid. Language experts gave it a score of 72%, which is considered valid. Media experts rated it with an average score of 92%, also classified as valid. The results of the test showed good results through three stages of trials, namely one-to-one, small group, and field test, each of which obtained a percentage value of 82%, 87% and 90% in the very good category. This proves that the product produced is suitable for use by pesantren.

Abstract

This article reveals a situation, Kullīyat al-Mu‘allimīn Al-Islāmīyah Gontor Curriculum Planning in Improving the Quality of Graduates which is carried out using the I'dad Tadris, I'dad Madhi (material) and I'dab Maknawi (meaning) methods which are not just knowledge but wisdom. Implementation of the curriculum is in accordance with the use of an integral curriculum and evaluation is carried out carefully and in detail. The feasibility study was implemented in the context of increasing the number of ustadz and subjects taught. This is important to do so that you can find out the condition of the number of teachers, teacher abilities, and even obstacles. Evaluations are carried out by the person in charge of Kullīyat al-Mu‘allimīn Al-Islāmīyah in various ways, either daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annually or annually. All of this is done to ensure that the quality of graduates meets expectations. Artikel ini mengungkap suatu  keadaan, Perencanaan Kurikulum Kullīyat al-Mu‘allimīn Al-Islāmīyah Gontor Dalam Meningkatkan Mutu lulusan yang dilakukan dengan metode I’dad tadris, I’dad madhi (materi) dan I’dab maknawi (makna) yang tidak hanya sekedar pengetahuan melainkan hikmah. Pelaksanaan kurikulum sesuai dengan penggunaan kurikulum yang integral serta evaluasi yang dilakukan dengan teliti dan detail. Studi kelayakan diterapkan dalam konteks penambahan jumlah ustadz dan mata pelajaran yang diampu. Ini penting dilakukan agar dapat mengetahui keadaan jumlah guru, kemampuan guru, bahkan kendalanya. Evaluasi dilakukan oleh Penanggung jawab Kullīyat al-Mu‘allimīn Al-Islāmīyah secara bervariasi, baik harian, mingguan, bulanan, semesteran, maupun tahunan.  Semua ini dilakuan untuk memastikan tercapainya mutu lulusan yang sesuai dengan harapan.

Abstract

This paper analyzes the application of madrasah principal management to Arabic language learning in improving the quality of student graduates at MAN Tanjungpinang. This research method is a qualitative field research method that is carried out holistically. The approach used is phenomenology. The results of this study are to improve the quality of student graduates at MAN Tanjungpinang, Riau Islands through Arabic language learning, then it can use madrasah principal management, namely through; a) planning, b) organizing, c) implementing, and e) supervising. Planning includes needs analysis, short and long term goals, and relevant curriculum development. Organizing by setting a clear organizational structure with specific assignments and responsibilities for each Arabic language teaching staff. Implementation by actively implementing an innovative Arabic language curriculum, ensuring that Arabic language learning materials are always up-to-date and relevant to student needs. Supervision by conducting periodic monitoring of the Arabic language learning process to ensure that the curriculum and teaching methods are implemented according to plan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out about the Organizational Behavior of the Center of Excellence Vocational School in Batam City in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. The research uses a descriptive qualitative research approach. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and documentation. Research subjects include the Principal, Deputy Principal, Head of Skills Program & Teachers. The results of this research are that in managing the Center for Excellence Vocational School program in Batam, the Principal carries out his role well, the program management process includes activities including program planning, program implementation and program evaluation. Leadership Style, Organizational Culture & Motivation influence Individual Behavior in carrying out the planned Merdeka Curriculum Program. Individual behavior can be in accordance with organizational expectations if the Leadership Style can be adaptive according to the needs of the organization, motivation is maintained, and the Organizational Culture is able to provide value for itself. If individual behavior is integrated with these values, commitment to the organization will be strong, thereby creating the best quality of education.

Abstract

Learning approach is the starting point or point of view of the learning process, because it is necessary to design an interactive learning process, inspiring, fun, challenging, and motivating learners to actively participate and provide enough space for innovation, creativity, and independence in accordance with flair , interests, and physical and psychological development of learners. This study was a quasi-experimental study. Analysis of the data used is the analysis of variance (ANOVA) and two lanes. The purpose of research to determine: 1) The difference between the students understanding of science concepts are learned with PKP-MD with students who learned with PK-ME, 2) Differences in understanding science concepts among students who have high creativity with students who have low creativity, 3) Difference understanding of science concepts among students who choose a high creativity that learned with PKP-MD with students who have high creativity learned with PK-ME, 4) differences between students understanding of science concepts, who has a low creativity that learned with PKP-MD with students who have low creativity learned with PK-ME, 5) interaction using PKP-MD and PK-ME with creativity to the understanding of science concepts. The results showed the following findings: 1) Understanding the concept of science students who learned with PKP-MD different from the students who learned with PK-ME, 2) understanding the concept of science students who have high creativity differently than students who have low creativity, 3 ) Understanding the concept of science students who have high creativity learned with PKP-MD differ from students who have high creativity learned with PK-ME, 4) Understanding the concept of science students who have low creativity learned with PKP-MD is relatively the same as students who have low creativity learned with PK-ME, 5) There is no significant interaction between the use of PFM-MD and PK-ME with creativity to the understanding of science concepts. Abstract

This research is a research development which aims to meet the availability of of physic learning materials based inquiry laboratory activities that can improve the effectiveness and attractiveness of the teaching of physics in class X SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi. This research method to adapt the model ADDIE which consists of five main stages of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The resulting product has been evaluated through a process of expert validation of learning materials, learning technologies expert validation, testing peers, individual testing, small group testin, and testing of large groups. Data was collected through questionnaires, interviews, and assessment of learning outcomes. From the results of questionnaires and interviews showed that the developed teaching materials physics has been well categorized and fit for use. From the assessment of learning outcomes in the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective successively obtained an average value of students 76, 80, and 80 were categorized as having good learning outcomes.
