Abstract

Abstract. This research is motivated by the low writing skills of poetry. This is characterized by students' poetry writing skills that are not productive, still informative, students are still difficult to express their ideas, and are less attractive to students because they only use one technique. One learning technique that can improve poetry writing skills is mind mapping techniques. Mind mapping is also a learning technique to stimulate students' imagination in generating ideas, recording and summarizing using mind mapping. This study aims to examine the effect of Mind Mapping Technique on Poetry Writing Skills of students in elementary school.This study was an experimental study of Quasi Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of class V. Sampling is done by saturated sample technique (total sampling), namely VB class as an experimental class and VA class as a control class. The experimental class consisted of 34 students and the control class consisted of 36 students. The instrument used to determine the effect of mind mapping techniques is observation and documentation. The experimental class was treated by using mind mapping techniques in poetry writing skills while the control class without using mind mapping techniques.Based on the results of the pretest obtained the average value of the experimental class 60 and the average value of the control class 64.2. From the results of the comparison of the two sample classes, there was a difference in value of 3.7, so it can be concluded that there is no significant difference between the two pretest grades, meaning that the two classes have the same initial ability. Next, learning was conducted using mind mapping techniques in the experimental class and learning without mind mapping techniques in the control class. After learning is given then in both classes posttest is conducted. For the experimental class obtained an average value of 82 and for the control class obtained an average value of 77.5. From the results of testing hypotheses with a significant level of 0.05 obtained a significant value of 0,000 because sig. <?, the hypothesis is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of using mind mapping techniques on students' poetry writing skills in elementary school. Keywords: Mind Mapping Techniques, Writing Skills, Poetry

Abstract

This research was done because there is still the wrong assumption in the society that it will be ashamed if one of the family members has suffered from a disability. Even, they do not ready to receive him. One of the disabilities cases is blind. It is indicated by not being able to see either totally or partially. The blind people are caused by the different background. Some suffer are congenital birth, this blindness occurred since they were born. Then, The others happened when they are still teenagers and even adults, which is caused by several factors such as illness, accident, style of reading, or blindness is an undetectable cause. This research tries to reveal the various life skills education provided by the administrators of Blind Orphanage Tuah Sakato in West Sumatera so that the cynical and apathetic impression on the blind disabled patients will be reduced or even lost by knowing the various life skills that they get during their education. Thus, there is no longer the assumption that people with blind disabilities are only used as a sacrifice for begging on the streets or just working as a masseur only. In addition, this research also tries to describe the impression of alumni after taking education at Blind Orphanage Tuah Sakato West Sumatra Indonesia. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive with direct participation approach. The techniques used are observation, interview and participate in their daily activities. The results of this field research obtained a lot of information about life skills provided by the managers for their students. By providing many life skills, their students are ready to return to the community. There are many life skills that are providing there. They are; preparatory classes, massaging skills by recognizing the structure of the human body, the ability of foreign languages, the ability to cook, the ability to play music, memorize the Qoran and recitation of the Qoran with rhythm, the ability to make speeches and they also got the counseling guidance so that they can be optimistic to look for their future. From the interviews that the authors conducted to the alumni of Blind Orphanage Tuah Sakato who had completed his education there, the results obtained that 90 percent said they are very satisfied with life skills education that has been given by the managers of Blind Orphanage Tuah Sakato and they feel like getting a new family and they are also assisted to find work.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini terlihat masih banyak anak belum mampu menjaga kebersihan serta tanggung jawab dalam merapikan pekerjaanya. Oleh karena itu dilakukanlah kolase tempat sampah sebagai model project based learning, sehingga dekembangkanlah model implementasi project based learning  dalam  menanamkan nilai karakter anak usia dini. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang diterapkan adalah  project based learning  dengan  kegiatan mengkolase tempat sampah. Kegiatan  ini  bertujuan supaya memahami peduli lingkungan dan tanggung jawab namun mampu menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Melalui project based learning bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana perencanaan dan pelaksanaan model project based learning dalam menanamkan nilai karakter. Metode penelitian deskriptif  kualitatif bentuk  studi kasus. Data dikumpul melalui tiga kegiatan, yaitu wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini Menunjukan perencanaan dan pelaksanaan  project based learning  dalam menanamkan nilai karakter anak usia dini yang mencakup 6 aspek perkembangan ank usia dini  bahwa dalam perencanaan dengan menentukan RPPH dan menentukan kegiatan project based learning. Pada Pelaksanaan,  dengan penentuan pertanyaan, menentukan jadwal pelaksanaan project, monitoring project serta evaluasi dengan  mencangkup 6 aspek perkembangan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya perkembangan Nilai Agama dan Moral (NAM) anak usia 5-6 tahun di Taman Kanak – Kanak. Dilihat dari perkembangan NAM, masih banyak anak yang belum bisa mengenal agama dan hari besar keagamaan. Hal ini terlihat ketika dilakukan observasi, indikator pertama mengenal agama yang dianut 53,33% yang perkembanganya kurang (K), 33,33% cukup berkembang (C) dan 13,33% perkembanganya baik (B) . Sedangkan pada indikator kedua, mengetahui hari besar agama 46,67% yang perkembangannya kurang (K), 40% yang perkembanganya cukup (C), 2 anak dengan persentase 13,33% yang perkembanganya baik (B). Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan media pembelajaran audio visual terhadap nilai moral dan agama anak usia 5-6 tahun. . Jenis penelitian ini adalah desaign eksperimental quasai. Hasil yang diperoleh thitung >ttabel (2.301 > 2.048), kemudian Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Jadi, terdapat pengaruh penerapan media pembelajaran audio visual terhadap NAM anak usia 5-6 tahun di Taman Kanak – Kanak.

Abstract

Kajian ini dilatar belakangi oleh keinginan untuk menggali lebih dalam mengenai metode bimbingan dan konseling yang diambil dari khazanah keilmuan Islam sendiri, yakni Qur`an surat an-Nahl ayat 125. Tujuan dari kajian ini adalah untuk menghanalisis metode bimbingan dan konseling yang terdapat dalam Qur`an surat an-Nahl ayat 125. Adapun jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakan (lebrary research) dan data yang diperoleh kemudian di analisis dengan menggunakan analisis isi (content analysis). Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh 3 (tiga) metode bimbingan dan konseling dalam surat–an-Nahl ayat 125. Metode-metode tersebut adalah : (1). Metode bil hikmah, yakni metode yang dilakukan dengan penuh kebijaksanaan dan penuh hikmah. Jenis metode ini ditujukan disaat konselor berhadapan dengan klien yang memiliki tingkat kecerdasan yang lebih baik atau tingkat kecerdasan yang sama dengan konselor sehingga keputusan yang akan diambil dapat dibicarakan bersama antara konselor dan klien; (2). Metode mau`izhah hasanah, yakni metode dengan nasihat dan pembelajaran yang baik. Metode ini ditujukan ketika konselor menghadapi klien pada umummnya (tipe klien jenis kedua), dimana mereka menerima kebenaran namun masih diselimuti rasa ragu-ragu dan mereka memerlukan nasihat dari konselor untuk lebih meyakinkan dirinya mengambil suatu keputusan; (3). Metode mujadalah ahsan, yakni metode dengan percakapan dan dialog yang baik. Metode ini dapat diterapkan disaat menghadapi klien yang yang memiliki sifat angkuh dan sombong (jenis tipe ketiga).

Abstract

Dalam berorganisasi, ilmu manejemen sangat dibutuhkan bagi pengurus yang akan menjalankan roda organisasi. Hal itu disebabkan  kesuksesan suatu organisasi didukung  oleh sejauh mana kapasitas pimpinanan dan anggota dalam mengatur organisasi yang dikelolalnya. Sebenarnya, dalam ilmu manejemen terdapat beberapa fungsi pengelolaan  yang mesti diterapkan, yaitu fungsi planning (merencanakan), fungsi organizing (pengorganisasian), fungsi directing (menggerakan) dan fungsi controling (pengawasan). Dalam pelaksanannya, empat fungsi manajemen ini sangat dibutuhkan sehingga dengan menjalankan empat fungsi manajemen tersebut maka apa yang menjadi tujuan organisasi akan dapat tercapai. Terkhusus kapasitas kesekretariatan, memegang peran penting dalam menata berbagai administrasi dalam organisasi OSIS serta surat menyurat yang diperlukan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini berupa tanya jawab dan studi kasus sehingga tidak terjadi kebosanan di kalangan peserta pelatihan

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini berawal dari jarangnya guru menggunakan media dalam bentuk permainan sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran, apalagi media berbentuk permainan ular tangga pada proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan dalam rangka pengembangan media pembelajaran tematik terpadu menggunakan media ular  tangga untuk anak usia 5-6 tahun. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development ( R D) menggunakan teori Sugiyono (20013). Satu tahap terakhir yang tidak penulis lakukan yaitu tahap penyebaran (dessemination) dikarenakan pandemi COVID-19 yang masih mewabah ketika penelitian dilakukan. Berdasarkan validasi yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media ular tangga sudah valid dan dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Aktivitas bermain ular tangga dapat membantu anak dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara karena dilaksanakan dalam bentuk bermain

Abstract

 The implementation of the 2013 curriculum has generated mixed responses from various groups,especially for those implementing education in schools. There are still teachers who do notunderstand the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. The purpose of this study is to determine theperceptions of elementary school class teachers on the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. Thisstudy uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach, which is a form of research thatproduces numerical data on data analysis regarding the observed object . The results showed theperceptions of elementary school class teachers in Kuranji District, Padang City on thecomprehension aspect data of 74.72% with good categories, 70.22% acceptance aspects with goodcategories, and 65.20% evaluating aspects with good categories. The average perception ofelementary school class teachers on the implementation of the 2013 curriculum was 70.04% with agood category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi keinginan ingin untuk mengetahui peranan guru dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan emosioanal anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, yaitu mendeskripsikan apa yang ada sesuai dengan data dilapangan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di TK Aisyiyah 14 Kota Padang.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Peranan Guru dalam meningkatkan perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia 5-6 tahun, melibatkan orang tua, dan guru. Berperan guru sebagai pembimbing dalam perannya sebagai pembimbing guru memberi nasehat melalui pembiasaan yang dilakukan secara terus menerus membiasakan anak menggunakan sepatu sendiri, mengambil makanan sendiri, dan mengambil minuman sendiri serta guru memfasilitasi anak yaitu selalu membiasakan anak mengambil peralatan sendiri dan selalu membiasakan anak untuk menyelesaikan tugas sendiri dan guru memberi contoh kepada peserta didik dalam hal membiasakan diri untuk mandiri.
