Abstract

This research aims in descripting Science Process Competence (KPS) and student scientific behavior at SMP I Atap Pulau Tunda, Tirtayasa Region, Serang Regency.  This research was an introduction research  /observation to determine the study method or model  that can elevate KPS and student scientific attitude.   The research sample was students of SMP I Atap Pulau Tunda selected by purposive sampling.   Data was collected from KPS test, observation sheets of students scientific behavior during learning process,  interview sheets, and learning rank by the teacher.  This research result shows that the Science Process Competence and the scientific behavior of the students were still low.  Some of the reasons were the learning process was still ‘teacher centered’,  the teacher knowledge related to KPS and the scientific behavior  was still not adequate,  and the training experience was still not maximum.  Trainings given to teacher related to learning method and model, seminars about KPS and scientific behavior,  and facilitation given by of the headmaster and the government  are hopefully can elevate Science Process Competence and the scientific behavior at SMP I Atap Pulau Tunda.  Key Words: Science Process Competence, Scientific Behavior, and Science

Abstract

This research aimed to develop a product and to find out its eligibility and students’s response of module based education for sustainable development (EfSD) on ecology concept for X grade students. Research and development (R&D) method with Dick & Carey model was used in this research. It consisted of 5 stages, that were Analysis, Planning, Development, Formative Evaluation, and Revision. Instrument validation was assessed by experts (concept, media and teachers). According to the result of expert assesment, the module earned score 94%. The score was included into very decent category. The score of students’s response was 84,4%. The score was included into very worth category. It can be concluded module based EfSD on ecology concept for X grade students was  very decent for learning material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pembelajaran biologi melalui pendekatan saintifik dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. Sumber data berasal dari guru biologi dan siswa kelas XI pada 7 SMA Negeri di Provinsi Banten. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan terdiri dari observasi, kuesioner, wawancara serta dokumentasi Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil observasi proses pembelajaran biologi diperoleh nilai sebesar 80% yang termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil kuesioner pengetahuan berpikir kritis siswa diperoleh nilai sebesar 75% yang termasuk kategori baik. Sehingga rata-rata nilai pengembangan berpikir kritis melalui pendekatan saintifik di Banten diperoleh nilai sebesar 78% yang termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi kurikulum 2013 melalui pendekatan saintifik dalam mengembangkan berpikir kritis pada 7 SMA Negeri di Provinsi Banten termasuk dalam kategori baik.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the content of heavy metals mercury contained in the fish Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus L.) aquaculture cages around the Riam Kanan reservoir and compare it with quality standards based on the Decree of the Head of BPOM No. HK.00.06.1.52.4011 about the maximum limit of metal contamination in food, especially in fish. This study was conducted from September to December 2011. Sampling was conducted at three stations covering the village of Tiwingan Baru, Tiwingan Lama dan Aranio in the Aranio district. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method or sampling intentionally with certain considerations that are considered important. Mercury analysis performed using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) instrument. Result showed that the average content of mercury in sediment samples at the first station of 0,0262 mg/kg; the second station of 0,1489 mg/kg and not detected at the third station, the content is still below the set threshold. The content of mercury in water samples of Riam Kanan reservoir at all stations are still below the threshold of water quality standards according to Government Regulation No. 82 of 2001. Result on the mercury content of Tilapia fish meat samples at all stations are still below the standards threshold based on the Decree of the Head of BPOM about the maximum limit of metal contamination in food, especially in fish.

Abstract

Masalah korosi pada pipa di kilang minyak sangat bervariasi tergantung padajenis minyak mentah yang di proses, atau karena kondisi lingkungan. Salah suatucara untuk mencegah agar pipa tidak terjadi korosi yaitu dengan sistem proteksikatodik untuk mengendalikan korosi pada permukaan logam dengan menjadikanpermukaan logam sebagai katode dari sel elektrokimia. Dari data pengamatanpanjang pipa adalah 28.000 m dan diameter pipa 8 inch dengan anoda yangdipakai adalah anoda magnesium 32 lbs. Hasil dari perhitungan untuk proteksikatodik adalah luas permukaan pipa sebesar 19261,074 m2, total kebutuhan arusproteksi 10,593 A, tahanan anoda yang dipasang horizontal 0,882 ohm, keluaranarus anoda per batang 0,567 A, total kebutuhan anoda 122 batang dengan umuranoda 26,349 tahun. Dari hasil evaluasi menunjukan bahwa pipa keseluruhan yangterproteksi dalam kondisi baik.Kata Kunci : Anoda, Korosi, Permukaan logam, Pipa, Proteksi Katodik.

Abstract

Code-switching and code-mixing are common phenomena in multilingual societies, such as Indonesian society. This study aims to describe the code-switching and code-mixing in the conversation between President Joko Widodo and Nadiem Makarim on the State Secretariat Youtube Channel. The study employed a qualitative research method with observation and note-taking techniques to collect data. The data was analyzed using qualitative data analysis, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that there were code-switching and code-mixing in the conversation between President Joko Widodo and Nadiem Makarim. The code-switching in the conversation involved switching from Indonesian to Arabic, Sanskrit, and Javanese. Meanwhile, code-mixing involved the insertion of English and Arabic words into Indonesian sentences.

Abstract

Cross Section Accumulative Roll Bonding (C-ARB) adalah proses perpaduan dua material dengan cara penggilingan arah sejajar dan arah melintang. Material dipanaskan dengan suhu 350oC selama 90 menit. Proses C – ARB menghasilkan area pada material yaitu Hot Region (area panas) area material yang pertama masuk mesin roll dan Cold Region (area dingin) area material yang terakhir masuk mesin roll, menggunakan aluminium 5052. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kekuatan antar Interface dari Hot Region dan Cold Region, dengan siklus pengerollan 3x dan 10x, dan bahan penguat Alumina Al2O3 serat sebagai Reinforce, dan tanpa alumina sebagai perbandingan. Nilai kekerasan dan kekuatan tarik meningkat seiring banyaknya jumlah penggilingan karena semakin banyaknya penggilingan, kedua materialnya semakin rapat sehingga material menempel dengan baik, Hot Region memiliki nilai yang lebih kuat daripada Cold Region, karena Cold Region kurang terdifusi dengan baik

Abstract

Fenomena kasus dalam konteks ini merupakan minimnya uraian ataupun pengalaman awal dalam bermain gitar, yang bisa membatasi keahlian siswa guna menguasai serta memahami lagu yang diberikan. Riset ini mempunyai tujuan meningkatkan Media Audio Visual pada pendidikan gitar di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan(SMK) Negeri 7 Padang serta demi menemukan Validitas/ kelayakan Media Audio Visual pada pendidikan gitar di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan(SMK) Negeri 7 Padang. Riset ini memakai pendekatan kualitatif dengan tipe riset Riset and Development. Hasil riset mengatakan:( 1) Hasil validasi pakar media pendidikan dikategorikan“ Layak” digunakan dengan rata- rata validasi sebesar“ 94%”,( 2) Hasil validasi pakar modul pendidikan dikategorikan“ Sangat Layak” digunakan dengan rata- rata validasi sebesar“ 97%”,( 3) Hasil percobaan grup kecil dikategorikan“ Sangat Layak” dan validasi sebesar“ 86%”.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the students critical thinking competence, and metacognitive competence based on genders through the learning model of problem based learning on the concept of environmentpollution at grade X of SMA 3 Kota Serang. The poppulation of the research was all students grade X MIPA, and the sample were 40 students at X MIPA 5 SMAN 3 Kota Serang City. This research used purposive random sampling technique. The instrumen used to essay test, kuesionerand observation. Based on result of this research, there is no impact between gender difference on critical thinking competence and metacognitive competence. Critical thinking aspect of male students belongs to equals category in 64,2, critical thinking of female students belongs to equals category in 61,6.  Metacognitive competence of  male students to high category in 141, and metacognitivecompetence of female students to high category in 137. The percentage of total critical thinking competence of all students using PBL model in good and excellent category is 51%, while the percentage of students' metacognitive competence in high category is 91%.

Abstract

The implementation of new applications to support organizational work, integral to the adoption of SPBE in Indonesia, often encounters a lack of readiness among management officials. This challenge extends to the village level, the lowest tier of government, where the introduction of the E-office as a digital-based administrative service represents both a breakthrough and a formidable hurdle for village officials unfamiliar with information technology. This study aims to assess the competence of the village officials in facilitating the operationalization of the E-office and proposes strategies to enhance their digital service proficiency, focusing on Mekarwangi Village in Tomo District, Sumedang Regency. Employing a descriptive qualitative research approach, data collection involves interviews, observations, and documentation, with data triangulation as the analytical technique. The study reveals that the competence of the Mekarwangi Village officials is currently minimal, primarily due to a lack of adequate education, training, and insufficient support from local or central governments in providing facilities for enhancing the officials' competence in managing village potential data—a critical aspect of E-office operations. In response, the Sumedang government is actively addressing this issue by regularly conducting training and socialization programs on online-based services, specifically the village E-office, for village officials and communities. Efforts have been made to improve the quality and quantity of supporting infrastructure, such as internet network capabilities and the availability of laptops. To foster competitiveness among villages, the government is also instituting awards for those successfully implementing the E-office, accompanied by guidance for villages facing challenges in its optimal operation.
