Abstract

Keberadaan PKL di sepanjang jalan raya Magelang-Yogyakarta km 5-8 menyebabkan terganggunya kelancaran, ketertiban, keindahan dan kebersihan jalan. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut, pemerintah Kabupaten Magelang merelokasi PKL di sepanjang jalan raya Magelang-Yogyakarta km 5-8 ke PKL Mertoyudan Corner. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana respons, kesejahteraan, dan kualitas hidup PKL pasca relokasi untuk melihat praktik pemberdayaan yang efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwan PKL di jalan raya Magelang-Yogyakarta km 5-8 sebagian besar menunjukkan respons yang positif terhadap kebijakan relokasi, yaitu dalam bentuk penerimaan dan persetujuan (40% di antaranya memutuskan pindah). Kesejahteraan PKL, terutama dilihat dari pendapatan mengalami penurunan. Kualitas hidup PKL yang diukur dari aspek penghasilan, pemenuhan kebutuhan material, derajat dipenuhinya kebutuhan hayati, kebutuhan manusiawi dan kebebasan memilih juga menunjukkan penurunan. Kesimpulannya relokasi sebagai pemberdayaan agar berfungsi dengan baik harus mengembangkan program-program kreatif untuk mempopulerkan tempat relokasi.The presence of street vendors along Highway Magelang-Yogyakarta KM 5-8 lead to the disruption of the smooth, order, beauty and cleanliness of the streets. To resolve these problems, the government relocate the street vendors to street vendors Mertoyudan Corner. The purpose of this study was to analyze how the response, quality of life, and well-being after relocation to illuminate the practice of effective of empowerment. This study used qualitative methods. results showed that street vendors in Magelang-Yogyakarta highway km 5-8 mostly show a positive response to the relocation policy, namely in the form of acceptance and approval, while 40% of them decide to move. The welfare of street vendors, expecially seen from the revenue decline and the quality of life as measured from the street vendors prosperous income aspect, the fulfillment of material needs, the degree of fulfillment of biological needs, human needs and freedom of choice also showed a decline. The study concludes that  to function properly,  relocation as empowerment should develop creative programs to develop the relocation sites.

Abstract

Introduction. Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Main Library is committed to providing excellent services. One of the activities is to understand the users’ needs. This paper investigates the users’ perceptions of UNNES Main Library services. The objectives of the study include; (1) determining users’ perception on library services quality, (2) Examining satisfaction level of library services, (3) Measuring users’satisfaction level based on Service Satisfaction Index. Data Collection Methods. The paper used a quantitative methods approach with questionnaires, involving 203 library users, selected randomly. Data Analysis. The data were descriptively analysed by using an online survey tool (SurveyGizmo.com). Results and Discussion. The results report; (1) Users were satisfied with library services quality, but less satisfied with book collections; (2) Satisfaction level of library services was satisfactory; (3) Average score of customer satisfaction was 2.89, within the interval scale of 2.52 to 3.27. Conclusions. Based on the findings concluded that user’s perceptions of UNNES library services were satisfied and furthermore, the UNNES library will continue to improve the quality of services until it achieves very satisfying results.

Abstract

The aim of the study is viewing the policy making, related to supporting ofthe existence of digital ecosystems in the use of repositories while protecting intellectual property rights. The sample taken was State University Library (PTN) in Central Java. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Retrieval of the data was taken by questionnaires that distributed to all PTN libraries in Central Java and study documents that support the research. Results of the study indicate that all PTN libraries in Central Java have used a repository. Meanwhile the average software that used by the librarywere E-prints, with the rest of its using Slims (Senayan Library Information Management System) and a software that they make their own for library applications. The contentsin the repository are scientific academic papers such as Final Project Report(TA), Thesis, dissertation, journals, and scientific magazines. The access policy applied by the informant wereopen access, partial and close access policy. The legal formalthatused in implementing the repository access policy at the institutions is by issuing a Rector's Decree (SK), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), and university policies. While the head library role’s in implementing the repository is become a facilitator in compilingthe legal formal and repository content access policy.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the concept of character education in Sinau activities with the Maiyah Galuh Kinasih Bumiayu community.The method used is a qualitative research method. For key informants, researchers interviewed maiyah community activists and maiyah congregations of Galuh Kinasih Bumiyau, document studies were used by researchers to find research gaps and research novelties.Data analysis used source triangulation technique with data collection and data reduction. Interviews used in-depth and independent interviews, research questions were used to determine the concept of character education by the Maiyah Galuh Kinasih Bumiayu congregation during Sinau activities together. The results of the study found that there were five main character education in Sinau activities with the Maiyah Galuh Kinasih community including; religious values, the value of tolerance, the value of love for the homeland, discipline and the value of love of science.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran adalah suatu alat atau benda yang dapat digunakan untuk perantara menyalurkan isi pelajaran atau materi yang disampaikan agar peserta didik mudah untuk memahami materi yang disampaikan oleh guru. Hasil observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan sebelum melakukan penelitian menunjukkan kegiatan belajar masih menggunakan buku kurikulum 2013, media pembelajaran masih minim digunakan mengakibatkan siswa kurang menyukai mata pelajaran IPS yang berdampak pada kemampuan literasi membaca siswa kurang. Penelitian ini merupakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD 1 Gribig yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Hasil validasi diperoleh validator media dengan nilai 52 kategori sangat valid, validator Bahasa dengan nilai 38 kategori sangat valid dan validator materi dengan nilai 45 sangat valid. Hasil nilai preetest dan posttest diuji menggunakan nilai N-gain. Hasil nilai N-gain yaitu 0,6134 dengan kategori sedang artinya buku cerita IPS berbasis kearifan lokal cukup efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi membaca siswa kelas IV.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the character-based entrepreneurship model implemented in PGSD UNISSULA. Includes evaluation of inputs, namely from lecturers' teaching by applying a character-based entrepreneurship model and then observing student and lecturer perceptions of the implementation of the model. Product evaluation to observe the level of knowledge achievement and entrepreneurial motivational character of students after participating in learning with the entrepreneurship model. Data were collected from 105 students and 42 lecturers of PGSD UNISSULA. The instrument used for data collection in the form of a questionnaire and then analyzed using descriptive statistics with survey methods. The findings show that overall respondents agree that the perceptions of lecturers and students towards the implementation of the character-based entrepreneurship model in terms of inputs and products are at a fairly high and high level. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan model kewirausahaan berbasis karakter yang diimplementasikan di PGSD Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (Unissula). Meliputi evaluasi masukan yaitu dari pengajaran dosen dengan menerapkan model kewirausahaan berbasis karakter kemudian diamati persepsi mahasiswa dan dosen terhadap implementasi model. Evaluasi produk untuk mengamati tingkat pencapaian pengetahuan dan karakter motivasi berwirausaha mahasiswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model kewirausahaan. Data dikumpulkan dari 105 mahasiswa dan 42 dosen PGSD Universitas Islam Sultan Agung. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dengan metode survei. Temuannya menunjukkan secara keseluruhan responden setuju bahwa persepsi dosen dan mahasiswa terhadap implementasi model kewirausahaan berbasis karakter dalam hal input dan produk berada pada tingkat yang cukup tinggi dan tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to develop ideas related to strengthening character education according to the Pancasila Student Profile which is integrated in social studies learning. Applied Islam-based social studies learning is an integration of social studies material with the values of the Islamic religion that are adapted to the six dimensions in the Pancasila student profile, namely faith, piety to God and noble character, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical reasoning, and creativity. Through a literature study on the theory of the relation of science and religion, Barbour and Wilber Serts collected several relevant previous studies which were then used as an analytical tool to find formulas for character education in social studies learning. The findings show that the idea of Applied Islamic Social Studies Learning in strengthening Pancasila profile character education can be carried out by internalizing the Islamic religious values related to IPS material. The six dimensions in the Pancasila student profile form the basis for social studies learning by constructing learning materials according to Islamic religious values. Students are not only equipped with cognitive abilities but also instilled attitudes and skills so that character is realized according to the Pancasila student profile.

Abstract

The post-holder now has to adapt the new simplified regulation about changing structural position from echelon III and IV to the functional position. Since this regulation has been issued recently, they sometimes will experience the feeling of pessimism, anxiety or worry in playing the role of the new position. The problems to be solved in this research are: 1) what are the problems faced by the functional post-holder? 2) what is the strategy adopted in carrying out the duties and functions of functional post-holder? This study uses a qualitative and quantitative approach with a mix-method. This study take place in the representatives of state universities in Indonesia. The mix-method was used to obtain comprehensive results on the readiness of education personnel whose function was switched from structural positions to functional position in universities under the Ministry of Education, Cultural, Research and Technology who were affected by the changing of echelon III and IV structural positions. The conclusion of this study is that education personnel whose function was switched from structural positions to functional position experience problems including incompatibility of educational background with their functional position, incompatibility of job desk with their interests and expectations. The incompatibility of functional position with the placement of job unit causes lack of positive impact on their working record and the decrease of financial support.

Abstract

Less varied and less integrated learning materials with technology causing students had limited learning materials and coverage. Thus, the local wisdom-based interactive flipbook developed in this study was expected to provide learning materials and real problems so that students are encouraged to respond critically and finally have their critical thinking ability improved. Further, this study aimed to develop, analyze the feasibility, and examine the effectiveness of a local wisdom-based interactive flipbook with a problem-based learning model on the social science subject taught to grade five at SDN 1 Bandengan Jepara. It belonged to Research and Development (R&D) as developed by Brog and Gall. In addition to data collection technqiues, tests, observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation were employed. Once the data were collected, those were analyzed using several initial tests, namely product viability and response questionnaire, while the final data analyses covered normality test, t-test, and n-gained test. Here, 40 students of grade five at SDN 1 Bandengan Jepara were involved as the population of this study. Findings showed that the viability of this product in each aspect was presentation 100%, content was 95.31%, and language was 93.75%. In terms of effectiveness, it gained the value of sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05 in t test, meaning that there was a significant difference between the results of the pretest and posttest with the n-gain test of 0.454 in the medium category. To sum up, the local wisdom-based interactive flipbook is viable and effective to use in social science learning.
