Abstract

The purpose of this research is to look for information about the teacher perception of the Implementation of Teacher Work Group (TWG) on primary schools in Kayu Aro district. This is a descriptive research. The population is 85 teachers and sample is 66 teachers that are taken by simple random sampling. The instrument of this research was a questionnaire with Likert scale models that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using the average (mean) formula. The results of this research show that the teacher perception about the Implementation of Teacher Work Group (TWG) in primary schools in Kayu Aro district stay in good category with an average score of 3.90

Abstract

The background of this study is the result of the author’s observations which indicate that there is a lack of strong school culture in the Vocational High School 2 Padang. This research is a quantitative descriptive type with the aim of seeing how strong the school culture is as values, namely honesty, cooperation, trust, and responsibility. The population of this research is 100 teachers os SMK Negeri 2 Padang. Determining the number of samples in this study using the Slovin formula at an error rate of 10% of the total population and sampling using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique to produce 51 people. The research instrumen used a questionnaire (paper) with a Likert scale, amounting to 40 statements. The data collected is then processed and the average score (mean) and the respondent’s level of achievement (TCR) are sought. The results of data processing show that school culture seen from the aspect of honesty gets an average score of 4,58 (TCR 91,5%), cooperation gets an average score of 4,44 (TCR 88,8%), trust gets an average score 4,45 (TCR 89,1%), and responsibility got an average score of 4,25 (TCR 84,9%). Overall, the school culture in Vocational High School 2 Padang obtaines an average score of 4,43 (TCR 88,6%).

Abstract

Study is based on the results of the author's observations regarding the maintenance of educational infrastructure that has not been carried out properly in Junior High School Negeri in Pelepat Ilir District, Bungo Regency. This study aims to obtain information regarding the maintenance of educational infrastructure in State of Junior High Schools in Pelepat Ilir District, Bungo Regency in terms of: maintenance of educational infrastructure based on time measurement, maintenance of educational infrastructure based on age of goods, usefulness and condition of goods. This study is descriptive quantitative. The population of this study is 110 teachers in State Junior High Schools in Pelepat Ilir Subdistrict, Bungo Regency, who have the status of Civil Servants (PNS) and their working period is more than 5 years. The sampling technique was simple random sampling using Cohran's theory. The selected sample was 56 people. The data were collected using a Likert scale model questionnaire which has been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using the average formula. The results of this study indicate that the Maintenance of Educational Infrastructure at State of Junior High Schools in Pelepat Ilir Subdistrict, Bungo Regency, seen from the aspect of maintaining educational infrastructure based on time measurement is in the good category with an average score of 4.4, maintenance of educational infrastructure by age of goods is in the good category with a score on average 3.7, maintenance of educational infrastructure based on usability was in the very good category with an average score of 4.8, and maintenance of educational infrastructure based on the state of goods in the good category was in the good category with an average score of 4.5. This it can be concluded that the maintenance of educational infrastructure in SMP Negeri in Pelepat Ilir District, Bungo Regency in the good category with an average score of 4.3.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information disciplinary guidance students at State Vocational High School 4 Pariaman. The research question is how well the disciplinary guidance of students in terms of guidance, direction and supervision of class XI and XII students of SMK Negeri 4 Pariaman, totaling 405 people with 25% sampling of 106. The instrument used was a Likert scale model. The result is that the disciplinary guidance of students in Vocational High School 4 Pariaman has been carried out well.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the author’s observations regarding students perceptions of the professional competence of teachers in vocational high school (SMK) Negeri 1 Padang Panjang which shows that the professional competence of teachers is less than optimal. The purpose of this research is to obtain data and information regarding (1) mastering subject matter, (2) mastering subject competency standards, (3) developing learning materials, (4) developing professionalism in a sustainable manner, (5) utilizing and using media tools and Learning Resources. The population of this study was 264 students and the sample size was determined using the Slovin formula at an error rate of 10% with the Stratified Proportional Random Sampling technique of 69 students. The results of the data analysis show that the professional competence of teachers at SMKN 1 Padang Panjang is quite capable with an achievement level of 4.26 with the following explanation (1) mastering subject matter is in the very capable category, namely at 4.68, (2) mastering competency standards Subjects are in the capable category, namely at achievement 4.18, (3) developing learning material is in the capable category, namely at achievement 4.10, (4) developing professionalism continuously is in the capable category, namely at achievement 4.27, (5) ) utilize and use media tools and learning resources are in the capable category, namely the achievement of 4.05.

Abstract

Riset ini maksud nya untuk mendapatkan persepsi peserta didik trhadap pelaksanaan keg ekstrakurikuler di SMKN Kota Padang Panjang tentang jadwal, partisipasi, fasilitas, dan pembina. Adapun pertanyaan riset sebagai berikut adalah seberapa baik persepsi siswa tentang 1) jadwal, 2) partisipasi, 3) fasilitas, dan 4) pembina. Populasi riset ini adalh seluruh siswa kelas X dan XI SMKN Kota Padang Panjang yg terdaftar dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sebanyak 309 siswa, sampelnya berjumlah 78 siswa yang pengambilan sampelnya 25% dari jumlah populasi. Instrument menggunakan kuesioner skala likert. Angket tersebut sudah dicobakan dan dapat validitasnya dan reliabelitas angket. ternyata adalah persepsi siswa tentang jadwal kegiatan ekstrakurikuler ada ditingkat bagus 3,83, persepsi murid tentang partisipasi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler ada ditingkat bagus 3,94, persepsi siswa tentang fasilitas kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berada pada kategori cukup 3,25, persepsi murid tentang pembina ekskul ada ditingkat bagus 3,75. Maka dari itu simpulannya persepsi murid thdap pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dengan nilai 3,94.

Abstract

Tujuanipenelitian ini ialahiuntuk memperolehiinformasi terkait pengelolaaniUsaha Kesehatan Sekolah di SekolahiMenengah AtasiNegeri Kecamatan Koto TangahiKota Padang. Jenis penelitianiyang digunakan yakniideskriptif. Populasiiberjumlah 137 orang dan sampel penelitian 54 orangidengan menggunakan metode Disproportionate RandomiSampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket denganimodel skala likerts yang sudah di ujiivaliditas danireliabilitasnya. iData yang dikumpulkan dianalisisimenggunakan rumus mean. Hasil penelitian menggambarkanibahwa pengelolaan usaha kesehatanisekolah di SMA Negeri di Kecamatan Koto Tangah KotaiPadang dikategorikan baik dengan perolehan skorirata-rata 3,81.

Abstract

This research is based on the author’s observation at SMKN 1 Lubuk Basung about student discipline that is still less than optimal. This study aims to obtain information about: 1) the elements of the discipline that are applied. 2) the teacher’s strategy of applying student discipline. 3) what stages the teacher does in instilling discipline. 4) efforts to perevent student behavior who are less disciplined. Descriptive quantitative is a type of research. With a population of students of SMKN 1 Lubuk Basung as many as 956 students. To find out the sample in this study is proportionate stratified random sampling, a sample of 109 students was obtained. This research instrument is a Likert Scale model questionnaire which has been tested for validity and reliability. Abstract

AbstractThis study examines as well as aims to extract information about the relationship between organizational climate and employee performance at the Secretariat of the Education Office of West Sumatra Province. The method used in this research is correlation research and quantitative methods. All employees of the Secretariat of the Education Office of West Sumatra Province became the population in this study as many as 79 respondents and the sample was 44 respondents. The research instrument used a Likert scale model questionnaire. Analysis of research data using the Product Moment correlation formula in SPSS (Statistical Package and Science). The results of data acquisition for variable X with a mean of 116.57 and a score of 82.07% in the conducive category, each indicator obtained 26.20 completeness of sarpras, 30.36 trust, 31.02 leadership support and 23.14 employee involvement. While the results of the acquisition of variable Y with a mean of 110.80 and a score of 86.53% in the high category, each indicator = 44.64 quality, 33.09 quantity and 38.84 cooperation. Correlation data using SPSS for both variables shows the number 0.001 with a 95% confidence level, if the number shows <0.05 then the variables X and Y are said to be correlated. So it can be concluded that the hypothesis which reads "there is a relationship between organizational climate and employee performance in the Secretariat Section of the West Sumatra Provincial Education Office" can be accepted.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang pelayanan tenaga administrasi sekolah urusan kurikulum berbasis teknologi informasi yang dilihat dari aspek: 1) ketersediaan informasi, 2) ketanggapan dan 3) kemudahan penggunaan. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif dengan populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru se SMK-Kota Padang Panjang yang berjumlah 149 orang guru dan sampel sebanyak 62 orang guru. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner dalam bentuk skala likert yang telah valid dan reliabel. Penelitian menunjukkan ketersediaan informasi dari pelayanan tenaga administrasi sekolah urusan kurikulum berbasis teknologi informasi mencapai skor 3,83 dalam kategori baik, aspek ketanggapan mencapai skor 4,04 dengan kategori baik dan aspek kemudahan penggunaan mencapai skor 4,02 dalam kategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut secara keseluruhan pelayanan tenaga administrasi sekolah urusan kurikulum berbasis teknologi informasi di SMK se-Kota Padang Panjang sudah berjalan baik dengan ketercapaian skor 3,96.
